I and my girlfriend had tried to get in to eat at Agresti's on a few different occasions in the past but always missed them due to the strange hours they had been keeping. Tonight though, we finally got in to try it out. Pretty good. When we entered we immediately noticed the cozy atmosphere and small amount of people. The host/waiter, while slightly awkward making jokes, was very very nice and welcoming. We asked about specials and found that there was both a soup and a dinner entree that interested us. We ordered the chicken and dumpling soup and the Roma Tomato Bruschetta appetizer. The soup was pretty good tasting although the broth didnt seem homemade and the soup was lukewarm in temperature. The mini dumplings were good as was the chicken in the soup. The bruschetta although it appeared to be nothing special, was amazing tasting. We could have eaten that non stop. My girlfriend pointed out correctly that the tomatoes weren't Roma but it didnt affect the dish at all. For entrees, I ordered the Chicken Carmona and my gf ordered the special which was a sampler that had Spinach Ravioli, Meatball Ravioli, and Cheese Tortellini. I would say that my Carmona was good but not exceptional as it really felt like it was missing something to kick the flavor up some, maybe some seasonings. The pasta I wish had been homemade. The gf loved the sauce on it. In her entree, i loved the cheese tortellini and she loved the spinach ravioli. Both were fresh made pastas and the insides very creamy and delicious. On an additional note, the bread and oil that came with meal was a nice complement and the house made salad dressings were great. Overall, we felt that the food was good with some of it being borderline great. We both want to return and try different dishes. However, we are scared the place wont last as we never see many cars when passing by and theres a guy across the street waving a sign to try and attract business. Do US ALL A FAVOR and try the place out. Its MUCH BETTER than the dirty Italian restaurant around the corner.

The food was good but it couldn't compensate for the abhorrent service we received. A group of 10 of us came in for dinner on a Thursday evening. There were only 2 other people in the restaurant the entire time we were there. We asked our waitress if it would be possible to combine tables so we could all sit together and she shrugged and left us to ourselves. The entire time we were there, she acted as though we were bothering her by bringing our business. Drinks went unfilled and she was downright rude. Given the small crowd, I expected 5 star service and was very disappointed. Next time I'm looking for Italian food, I'll head across town.

This place is okay. The tomato bruschetta was good! Not a lot of options. I live close so my boyfriend and I decided to try it.

I went to this place by my house, (Agresti's Tuscan Grill) I seen go reviews, so we stopped in the décor was horrible ( plastic plants cheap dinner tables/chairs ). So I asked the waitress/bartender what type of beer she named a small selection then I asked what imports do you have? A reply was peroni and miller light...LMAO miller lite? Really a import. So we started off with a appetizer bruschetta it came out in 2 mins it was cold and did not look good the bread was flaky my girl took a bite and it broke and crumbled and she said it was bad, I looked at it and could tell it was a disappointment. So we are sitting waiting on are main dishes and then I hear microwaves b/c it was so quit in there anyone can tell from a microwave sound, so I told her that did it for me close are check and the dishes started to come out ( wait time 5-10mins ) I called the waitress she asked is there something wrong, I told her about the bruschetta she said we server Are's cold I said really never been to a Italian restaurant that served it cold. And I said please close are check b/c I heard a microwave back there and her reply was sir we don't have microwaves I can prove it to you! You want to come in the back in look (with a smart attitude ). And she still tried to fight about it. ( I'm a paying customer remember?) I said check. So she goes back and the owner/cook said what they don't want it now? She told him what I said, he replied what I cant use a timer! Big difference between a microwave and a time I'm not a fool. So I ending up getting a free beer. Never in my life I been out of a restaurant that quick. Crappy food and service the place is dead all the time. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. Longhorns was so much better and there food is not that great.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
