Stephanie was our bartender while we were here for Antiques Road Show. She was the friendly face, the kind word, and the quintessential bartender while we were here. When in Charleston, passing through, if you want to feel at home, come to this bar and ask If Stephanie is working. You won't feel like an out-of-towner.

Bar is good. Not many people there. Waitress in the restaurant was friendly and attentive. Food was good. No complaints. Nothing spectacular but decent overall.

30 minutes for a soup and salad was a bit much. Soup was inedible when it did arrive. The server was the only good thing about the restaurant There are too many places within walking distance to waste your time and money here.

Completely forgetable and generic Corporate Sports Bar. Mediocre selection beer-wise, decent liquor options, utterly forgettable food. However, if you're trapped at Embassy Suites and don't want to venture forth into CRW proper AND you want to watch a game, it works. Service is fine. Unremarkable. Only plus is it's, for better or worse, home of the local American Outlaws branch. So it can have some - but only some - personality during a USMNT match.

In the Charleston, WV area due to my mom being in the ICU. Planned to drive and stay in her home; however, after the long flight from AZ to WV and being in the hospital so late, we opted to get a room at the Embassy Suites (I will write a separate review on the hotel). Our waiter, Colton, was great! Attentive, friendly, and very efficient. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced. Although the restaurant closed at 11pm, we did not leave until midnight. Not out of disrespect, but we lost track of time due to great service. We were not rushed to leave or anything. So next time you are in the area and want some good food and true Southern Hospitality stop by and ask for Colton!

Great food had the flatbread pizza BBQ chicken and a couple cold beers. I am staying at the Embassy Suites and it is raining cats and dogs here....so it was easy. Guy names Chad was my server...really a good guy. He gave great recommendations and was friendly. They have a bunch of televisions but it is hard to watch them from some seats as you look directly at another table. If u want above average bar food, good service and cold beer this place is great.

Great service by a friendly, large, jovial waiter. Food is awful. The french onion soup was way too salty, the strawberry spinach salad could have been good accept that the spinach was beginning to turn bad.

Arrived in Charleston after a total traveling and hotel cluster eff. Was sweaty, tired, sore, and more than ready to respond to fighting words.... And was about 25% diffused by the host / bartender, who was friendly and professional. Then was 70% diffused by a hard-working and personable server. She was wonderful - professional, able to "apologize for Charleston" earnestly without being debased (for something she wasn't responsible for) or treat us like we were unreasonable for being annoyed by something that would be incredibly annoying to anyone. (Dear ACSB: your staff, at least those working Saturday, June 15, are exceptional - value them!) Brews were ice cold, as was white wine. Appreciated. The app sampler was impressive. Dips were tasty (though not unique). The TVs gave a great view of the Bruins. That diffused the other 5%. Liked the pastrami. The fish and fries are good. Beef was good. This place is more than a chain sports bar. The food came across as fresh, well prepared, and tasty, well above the local chain crap. And service was very, very good for a casual restaurant. The apple pie (more of an apple pocket, I think) is very, very tasty. Homemade and nommy. Try it! I have no doubt that their roomservice is quick to deliver....if I'm there again, I wouldn't hesitate to order.
