I love the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits from here. These guys have been around forever and their prices seem to have been around forever as well. Biscuits are huge, buttery, crispy outside, soft inside. This is what i miss most about West Virginia.

This is a historical sight. I only eat the biscuits sandwhich breakfasts. Suzi's has been serving the Charleston area at least for 40 years. i will follow-up with pics. If you are from out of town. this is definitley a must breakfast stop. will report back on the burgers and pics.

I've only been here for breakfast, and both times I had a biscuit and egg sandwich with bacon. That may be the only thing I will ever get here. Goodness gracious is that a delicious sandwich!! I'm not sure I could bring my self to actually order something else, although I'm sure their other food is probably good, too.

I like their food ok The big sell for me is price the biscuits are pretty good way better than a chain their burgers are ok not good not bad probably the best thing I have eaten are the boys on toast definitely 4 However I find the service and quality of staff sadly lacking which really irritates me Overall nice little greasy spoon "truck stop "type place

Two items stand out from the rest; a BLT Biscuit and the biscuits with sausage gravy. We are from Tallahassee FL and I only wish we had these biscuits down there. They didn't have grits, but I forgive them. This time... :-)

The place was a blast to the past diner that feels like it's stuck in the 80s. Been there both for breakfast and lunch. The lunch is mediocre at best. If going for lunch I would recommend the BLT. The true gem of the establishment is the breakfast. The massive biscuits will keep you full through lunch. They also have an option of putting your egg and bacon/sausage on a sesame seed bun. The line of sandwiches has a catchy name followed by 'day break'. The sunrise day break is my go-to breakfast sandwich. That coupled with FAST service makes breakfast a sure thing. Even when your running late for work.

I give it 4 1/2 stars. I grew up here and don't really remember this place,but i did grow up in the 60's. I moved away some 40yrs ago and I recently returned for a visit after some 15yrs.. This is the best ham n egg biscuit i've ever had, maybe even the best biscuit i've ever eaten.Buttery and crispy on the outside and soft,not dense and crumbly like most. At $2.67,including tax. It was awesome.

I walked into this place and I immediately knew I made a mistake. It's old and dirty and they have a sign above the registers that says something like, "Try our new mushroom burger!" but it looks like they dug it out of the trash dumpster from McDonald's in the 1980s. I got a cheeseburger and fries and it was so "meh" that there was no doubt I was giving this place 1 star even from the first bite. Skip.

This place is a local favorite low-key place focusing on breakfasts and burgers and, despite it's hamburger reference, its seems like breakfast is its strong suit. On a dreary, rainy Thursday morning we went it was bumping at about 8am. Food: we ordered two biscuit and egg sandwiches - one with bacon and one with steak. The steak is actually a breaded cutler type. The biscuits are large (3"x3") and fluffy and perfectly cooked with a firm, crunchy crust but a flaky middle so they eventually crumbled like all good biscuits should. The eggs were the folded style. The meats were typical in terms of type and size. There is a condiments bar that has fresh onions, sliced tomatoes, pickles and banana peppers to add to your meals. There is also ketchup, mustard and hot sauce. This little bar is a nice touch. For our breakfasts I give 3 stars. Service: this is a order at the counter and wait for you place. Our cashier was brand new and bring trained but the experience was still fast and efficient. I didn't really see anyone waiting for more than a couple of minutes despite the traffic and the kitchen had a large, busy staff. After finding a table another server came around to check if we needed refills despite being a fast food layout; that was cool. 3 stars. Value: this is their strength. All the items are cheap. Our whole meal with a coffee and ice tea came to just over $9. I didn't see any menu item over 6 bucks. 5 stars for value. Atmosphere: Suzi's is essentially a fast food joint so don't expect much. Having said that there were couple of things that bugged me; first - as I mentioned, it was rainy on our visit and the floors were very slick and nothing was done to either warn the customers or dry off the floors and virtually all of us were gingerly shuffling around; second - the restrooms are each am one-person capacity job which is ridiculous for a place this busy. 2 stars. Overall, I enjoyed my biscuit sandwich and liked the condiment bar and the prices were excellent. If I'm back in Charleston I'd probably stop back by. Food: 7/10; Service: 7/10; Value: 9/10; Atmosphere: 5/10
