The place gets one star. But on this day Jessica earned 3 stars because she's taking drink orders, orders and cooking. I would like to think management is aware of her efforts. Over all the place is clean and tidy. There were 4 other patrons here when our table of four arrived, my first impression was that she got the short end of the stick here. One patrons is helping himself while she cooks our order. In my opinion she should get a wage increase because she's earned it on this visit.

Like less than 5 feet from the newspaper clipping about 2 clocks are better than one (a George Webb staple) they only have one clock on the wall and an empty spot where the clock was and it's been missing for months. Seriously how much does a clock cost? This place is ghetto as Hell, I asked for some hot sauce and they gave me a bottle that had about 2 shakes left in it. They claimed they didn't have more, what legit breakfast destination doesn't have Tabasco sauce stocked up? Update 6/10/14: They have two clocks now, one of them is ginormous and hanging over corner of the frame and crooked, but they do have 2. Our waitress said they ran out if kids menus and also out of kids cups and the only hot sauce had about 2 shakes in it...again. Victoria Belongia has to be one of the worst restaurant owners ever.

Wife and I drove out of our way after finding out there was a GW in PW to go to this place. We've always liked GW breakfasts, however had never been to this one. In the first (main) room there is the ubiquitous counter plus several booths. No one at the counter stools and two booths were being used. An adjoining room had tables w/chairs. We asked for a table as I am somewhat handicapped and sitting at a table is more comfortable for me. The waitress informed us that the tables were for weekend use only. This was Friday noon. I said 'We can't sit at a table?" and she said "Weekends only". We left and she could have cared less. You won't see us back there even if they're giving away breakfasts.

I am so confused about this restaurant. It used to be a George Webb but then they took everything that said GW down and with no other explanation called it The Port House. However everything inside is still the same as it ever was. They even have the two clocks on the wall that are signature to George Webb. The food is even the same, down to the "Chicken Flavored Noodle" soup. A friend and I tried this place out shortly after it made the switch but we were thoroughly disappointed in the food. We have not returned since until yesterday. Since the place is listed as being 24 hours and it's the only place around we decided to go here after bar time on the Saturday before halloween. We came to the restaurant about 3:30am and every open sign was on. There were 3 other tables seated and eating when we walked in. The man behind the counter told us that they were closed and we couldn't eat there. We asked why and he said it was because he was too busy to serve us and that we should go to Cedarburg. I don't understand? Your open signs are on, you're serving only three other tables of people in the whole restaurant that is listed as 24 hours yet you're too busy to serve us? He seemed to be the only one working which is surprising on a Saturday, especially on such a busy bar night as halloween weekend. Plus he told us to leave "The Port House" to go to Cedarburg's George Webb. So is this place still a George Webb at all? It seems that it might be. When I tried searching for it online to see if I could find someone to write to about this, all local articles still call it George Webb. portwashington-wi.patch.… This local review of the place calls it "George Webb Port House" We were disappointed to not get served and I doubt that we will give this place a third chance. sad.

The burger and fries are the only foods I've found here that are decent. I have had consistantly bad eggs from here. The restaurant itself is in serious need of an update. I was hoping when it switched from a George Webb's to the "Port House" that the interior would get spruced up, but no luck - there's still ugly lamanate flooring plastered on the walls. Now that it is switching back again to a Webb's, maybe this building will get the attention it so badly needs.
