I got the Nacho Soup. Ordered nachos and the chicken was so runny, and salty, it made the dish like a soup! Not vey good and the jalapeños were a bit shriveled and old. The chips and salsa before the meal was the best part and they were stale. But hey, you enjoy their "Authentic Mexican Food"

Went there for lunch, and it was nothing to write home about. My mother got bland chicken quesadillas, daughter got chicken nachos that consisted of chicken and cheese only. We were surprised to learn that their margaritas are pre made, and had to convince the server to make my wife a real one. When asked what kind of tequila was in it, the server replied, "the regular kind." It seems like a great place to go if you don't care about taste, presentation or atmosphere.

Absolutely the worst ever of any type restaurant. Food was blah, lavatories stink, server ok, atmosphere ok, cook clueless. Ordered taco salad and chimichanga. Salad was barely recognizable not only did it look horrible, it was, thank god ionly 1/4 filled. We gave them 2 try's on the Changa and it came both times without being deep fried, for that matter fried in any way. Over priced and we will never go there again or give any positive review.

We have been severely disappointed with the quality of Mexican food in La Crosse, and this place was no exception. The salsa was old and tasted horrible. Got chimichangas and the quality and taste were lacking. Probably has a good alcohol list, which may make it popular here. We were there for lunch. Would avoid this place.

Great food, drinks, service and atmosphere! My friend and I stopped in La Crosse for the night when we were driving cross country and stumbled upon this restaurant. It's festively decorated outside and in and was very inviting. We got two entrees and four margaritas for $25- what a steal and it was delicious!

I'm a big fan of Mexican food and Margaritas. I love the fajitas. They have kick ass Margaritas. They literally kick your ass. Fast service. And they serve the typical chips and salsa before your meal. And they keep the chips coming until your food arrives. The food always comes out piping hot. All you have to do is enjoy it.

Pretty good mexican restaurant really close to campus. They have solid margarita pitchers. Note: the staff like to hit on college girls, and often if girls order teh pitchers they will be ALOT stronger than if a guy were to order. So guys, if you want more booze have your girl bat her eyes at the staff - it'll pay off.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
