Best breakfast in Snohomish, hands down. Have had meals here for lunch and dinner as well and the food has been good those times as well. Service has been generally good most of the time. Very lively atmosphere.

We planned to see a musical group play here on a Sunday evening. We called twice, spoke to two different people, and got two different stories--both wrong--about who was playing and what time they started. That should have been a tipoff. It was Happy Hour when we arrived and we attempted to order drinks and appetizers. Massive confusion about what was available at what price ensued, requiring several trips back to the bar by our server to get simple questions answered. (Example: we tried to order an appetizer combo plate; our server eventually reported that it was no longer offered. Then why is it still on the menu?) The fried zucchini had a weird, unpleasant taste--did they fry it with the oysters?--and a limp, watery texture I've not encountered before. The plate of nachos looked promising until we discovered that the center of the pile was cold. The Cobb salad was tolerable except for the substitution of mediocre guacamole for the sliced avocado it should have had. At least the draft beer was good. I won't go on about the lack of even any attempt at decor or design to warm up the cavernous room, the complete lack of any stage lighting to highlight the performers, or any of the other signals that the management just doesn't care about giving customers a good experience. On the plus side, our server remained cheerful and polite throughout the ordeal, and prices were reasonable. I give them one star for supporting live music, but we won't be coming back.

Would have no Idea how good the food is. We arrived at 6 pm and were seated immediately in a dining room with one other table occupied and eating. They brought us waters and then left. We read thru the menu, no one appeared to take our order, we then read the story on the back of the menu, and two more tables were seated. It had now been 15 minutes since we were seated. The wait staff did not appear very energetic or engaged in any part of the restaurant. Then a waiter finally appeared, went to the most recently seated table and took their order. Then went to the next most recently seated table, both of which had come in after us, and took that order. Ignoring us the waiter then left the dining room. as it had now been over 20 minutes since we arrived, and they did not seem interested in serving us or taking our order, we left, never to return to this restaurant.

One of the best options in Snohomish! Consistent great food quality at a fair value which I really respect. CCR has the nicest large bar in town. A small version of 'Cheers'. Bar staff is TOP NOTCH. Amazing spacious deck that overlooks the Pilchuck river. I can personally recommend the smoked salmon walnut salad and prime rib. Catch the happy hour food and drink discounts from 3-6 in the lounge. There is a wonderful dessert chef here and their creations are displayed in a case for you and your guests to choose from. Enjoy!

The food is awesome, more then generous portions, and friendly atmosphere! Ruben sandwich is best I have ever had! Cinnamon rolls are to die for when fresh out of oven!

My wife and I have been to Collectors Choice on many occasions. There food is consistently good..I especially like the Seafood Fettuchini for dinner. They also have a great breakfast. Deffinately worth going to.

bumping up a star--we've been back a couple more times and the food has been better. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. It'll do in a pinch, and they do have a couple items on their menu that are pretty good. Maybe next time they'll earn another star..

Great food, great service an all around great environment. I couldn't get enough if the salmon Eggs Benedict.....OMG it tasted like Heaven!

Had a great experience at CCR! Great chowder and oysters. Ordered the fishermans platter and the prime rib. All was great. I will go again.

I came here for lunch with my husband. It was a good experience for both of us. I enjoyed the food and the service was fast and friendly. The "small breakfast" was a LOT of food! And only $6.99! In Snohomish, this is one of the better restaurants.

Went here a week ago and had a nice breakfast with a friend who lives nearby. So we thought we come back for the prime rib which is served nightly. The meat was very tender, flavorful and was done perfectly. The cut was at least an inch thick! The service was excellent (thanks Taylor!) and the creme brûlée was also a very generous portion. It's in an odd location next to an old JcPenny but it's worth checking out.

Overall this place is pretty mediocre. The food is really hit and miss and the service is slow. On my most recent visit I came here with a group of around 12 or so people. Service is slow. Once you place your order good luck tracking down your waitress until they want to sell you dessert. People at my table had to get up and refill their own water and coffee at the little servers' station due to the infrequency that the waitress was in the room. I ordered the halibut and chips. It came with either a chowder or salad and the fish and chips, and then some cole slaw. The batter and the fries were really dark, not burnt but like they needed to change the oil they were frying stuff in. The fries were good, but the halibut was very chewy, not flaky. My friend who ordered the same thing equated it more to chicken than fish. The cole slaw was good but I didn't eat a whole lot of it cause I got full. The chowder was good too, a little underseasoned but I added pepper and it was fine. The portion sizes here are pretty good. I had more than enough left overs for dinner as well. My entree came with 3 pieces of fish and the fries were generous. The cup of chowder was probably the smallest cup of chowder I've ever recieved in a restaurant so you'd be better off ordering a salad unless you're dying for a bite of chowder. The cole slaw was a good full handful size wise. Despite the fact that the portions were huge I feel like the quality didn't justify 17 dollars for fish and chips. Some other people got some nice looking sandwiches at our table and I immediately wished I had gotten one instead. They came with a HUGE salad and nicely sized sandwiches. Their entree salads are also giant. Maybe this is one of those places where sticking to the basics is the best. They do have huge portions which is nice, but certain entrees are lacking in quality. Service is slow and the restaurant seems a little outdated. I walked away very full but not super stoked on the fish and chips I just ate, especially for the price.

We had dinner here at the suggestion of the desk attendant at our inn, which was just across the street. I had prime rib for dinner with the smoked salmon chowder. My prime rib was cooked perfectly, very rare, the potato was fresh and the side veggies were grilled. Service was prompt and friendly. Also had breakfast the following morning which was good and plentiful. We sat by the fire which felt really nice on this chilly morning.

I have never in my life been treated so rude because a restaurant lost our (Mothers Day brunch) reservations. I understand it is very busy and can be stressful for any restaurant worker but to be condensing to a customer when YOU lose the reservation is totally rude and uncalled for. The older women at the front counter actually asked my mother to look through her call log to see if we did call. It was so packed in there and she was making such a big deal out of it we just left. Why would we want to eat and support a restaurant when the host staff messed up and blame the customers. After we walked outside we looked through the call log and found the number and called it to let them know, she didn't care, didn't offer us to come back, no sorry, nothing. Thanks for ruining my moms and grandmothers Mother's Day by treating us like krap.

Hands down the best place to eat in Snohomish! Awesome staff and menu! Large portions and very extensive menu! Check out the deck overlooking the river!

Had the kobe burger with fruit for $14. The burgers at the drive in across the street are much better and cheaper. I don't mind paying more for good food, unfortunately this wasn't good at all. The meat was overcooked. I ordered it rare to medium rare and there wasn't a bit of pink, it was well. The fruit (pineapple) wasn't ripe so it was inedible. Also ordered a cosmopolitan on the recommendation of a regular. I think it was all alcohol with a splash of cranberry for color! It was so strong I only had a few sips and couldn't drink it. Very disappointing to say the least and a complete waste of money!

Had birthday brunch here with a couple girlfriends. I was happy they were totally accomodating to my allergies and asked a couple extra questions. Our waitress was sweet and bubbly. One of my girlfriends had worked at CCR when she was in high school so she asked about the family who owned the place and they had a quick, friendly conversation but the waitress didn't let it take up too much time since she was busy. I was actually impressed with the grace she used in chatting with my friend and then ending the conversation. The food was traditional diner food. They make sauces in house so I was able to eat something that had hollandaise on it. So happy and so good! All of our dishes met expectations. They came out hot and fast. It was a good birthday brunch.

once again went to this restaurant. food was great. service terrible. patsie or pattie or whoever the girl with short hair and a nose rings name is was terrible. asked for items, silverware, water and finally check. when someone asks for a check. waiting 20 minutes. not acceptable. plus, patsie mocked customers. really? you're not that funny.

Really great first experience! The wait was not long and timed to what they estimated, the food was great and I loved the view of the creek/small river running through the back. The waitress was courteous and attentive without being annoying. They could easily put more tables in the room we ate in but it was nice we weren't crammed in there. Definitely will return :)

This place was such a pleasant surprise! it was our first time visiting and we had no expectations, but they surprised us at every turn with great atmosphere, wonderful service, and excellent food. We hope to come back! The only thing that was strange to us, because it didn't seem to fit the class of the restaurant, was their association with tarot card readings.

Sizeable breakfast at a good price. Great staff. The coffee didn't really need a second cup, but oh, well.

We have been here several times, food is good, but don't have any favorites that we feel are a "must try". It is nice to have a place that serves lunch/dinner menu early in the morning along with alcohol...for the people like us who work nights. The service, both bartenders and servers, is always excellent.

Best place in Snohomish! Been here on many occasions for Sunday breakfast, lunch/dinner, and seen few of local bands play here as well. Atmosphere is comfortable. Great porch, peek-a-boo valley views. Great homestyle food and desserts. Last night stopped in and tried the traditional lasagna. After we ordered, waitress had to tell us there was only enough for one lasagna dinner and took good care in offering up sides and dessert once my guest and I chose to split the last avaliable. The lasagna is very delicious!! The sauce has a more basil flavor than other local Itialian styles, which I will come back for it again soon. Dinner salads are always nice and cold, great homemade ranch dressing on mixed greens with few vegies and croutons. Clam chowder was thick, nice flavor, large clams, and potatoes. Heated Apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle to top off dinner. This place never has disappointed me or any one I've brought here for any meal or event. Great Snohomish Gem.

Ok spot in Snohomish to snag something hot to eat. If you're 21+, my secret tip is to grab a seat in the bar if there is a long wait for the dining room. My boyfriend had biscuits and gravy and an omelette, it all looked good and hearty and he had no complaints. I ordered lunch, the timilicious turkey dip named after someone named Tim who I guess likes turkey dips. It was a bit haphazardly constructed but tasty. What really shined were the fries, they were excellent! Crusty and battered or something! Mmmmmm mmmm. Service was decent, only one gal in the big bar so she was kinda flustered. Prices seemed decent, the Bloody Mary was $6.50 but not very strong and it was little, so I wouldn't bother with that again. Also leave your espresso at the door, not allowed I was told, so I had to chug mine. So I guess when in the mood for decent breakfast or excellent fries I'd come back, but I don't see it as being a favorite of mine.

I have heard good things about CCR from friends so I finally tried it. I popped in for an early dinner and found it to be charming, well staffed and delicious. Our waiter was prompt, courteous and professional yet friendly. I ordered the sirloin tip sandwich with fries. The steak was cooked just right and the au jus was tasty. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. I will be back to try other things at CCR!

I give this place three stars because of the ambience, it's the comfortable cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly as well. I do believe the breakfast here is good but the dinners (been higher priced compared to other places in town) have been disappointing. I have yet to get a steak cooked even close to my medium request. One time it was hard as a rock the next time it was rubbery and way too undercooked. But the staff is so nice that I smiled paid my bill and hit the road. I will not be eating dinner here again but breakfast yes.

Hands down our favorite local spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner! The staff is VERY nice, attentive and they remember you. The food is delicious! for breakfast order the crab benedict. dessert? pick anything but the almond joy pie is to die for! they make all their own desserts and they are amazing! We've been coming here for a few years now and have only had to wait once for a table--total wait time was about 5 minutes!

Atmosphere - Clean, warm and nice decorating. We were seated in the large back room with a view Food - A good selection on breakfast from light ( cereals , oatmeal and fruits) to substantial. These would be egg dishes, hot cakes etc. I had a Denver omelet ; lacked any sort of seasoning and was a bit dry. Omelet was well constructed with ample filling. I liked the choice of sides; cottage cheese, fruit or fried potatoes. As a lot of restaurants do these days the little jelly packets for the toast. A nice touch would be fresh preserves abundant berry farms in the area Service - No hostess at from had to go find her. It was 8a and not that busy. Some one should be there Waitress was very good. Attentive without being intrusive and personable enough. Over all not bad; could be better with a few touches. Pricing was on par for the area. Not a bad choice for a meal.

I've been here several times and have enjoyed each experience. There is a nice variety of food and the staff is friendly and prompt. If you can, snag a window seat overlooking the river. They also do bingo each Tuesday evening in the bar area, which is really fun. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This restaurant serves traditional American food. The owner goes out of his way to please the customer and they truly believe that the customer is always right. Service staff are friendly and the Bloody Mary's are to die for. Remember to look them up on facebook and comment directly with the owner who goes by "OM" or Old Man. Two thumbs up OM!!!

Good home style food with a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and ample seating. The prime rib french dip was great! Food usually arrives quickly enough, and is not too pricey. We eat here frequently.

We came here for brunch last week after not visiting in years. We were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted immediately by a hostess, and though it was the after church crowd and everything in the area was packed, including Collector's Choice, it was only about a minute before we were seated. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. She was upbeat and seemed happy to be working there. No complaints at all in the service department. The food: I ordered the Monte Cristo with a side salad. My husband ordered oatmeal (borrring!) I can't say much about his oatmeal. It looked like oatmeal and he ate it all. My Monte Cristo was excellent though. This will definitely be my go-to place for them in the future. A big plus goes to having plenty of jam sitting on the table unlike some restaurants that deliver a couple of packets and make you ask for more. They only lost a star because they put weeds (field greens, designer lettuce, whatever people are calling it these days - I'm not fooled, they are weeds) in the salad. We'll definitely return, but next time I'll get the fries with my sandwich.

This place rocks. We come here frequently and recently sent family members and friends to give it try. They all agree that CCR's is a very friendly and the food is very good. We can't say enough. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants.

I have eaten here a few times and the food has always been good so I was looking forward to the meal. I ordered chicken marsala. they appear to like putting food in bowls on the plate, a single piece of chicken breast sliced into three pieces with several large slivers of mushroom all floating in a brown liquid that was slightly sour and I assume passes for marsala in this place. The small serving of mashed potato was o.k. but nothing special and out of a packet, the meal included vegetables which. Just means zucchini which I am sick of being served. I left still hungry and regretting spending $16

We continue to enjoy CCR as a regular stop on the weekends. I am concerned about a couple of things we've noticed lately...first, the dirt and dust. I don't like seeing cobwebs hanging down from ceilings or light fixtures, heat/ac registers on the ceilings clogged w/ dust, window sills full of dust and dirty things on the tables like ketchup stuck to the salt and pepper shakers or crumbs and sticky food on the seats. It seems that on our last few visits, we've experienced these disturbing, little oversights. I consider the restaurant an extension of home and I would never allow these to become noticeable. I also was disturbed to see a member of the wait staff w/ those britches that nearly hang off their rumps. As an employer, I would never allow that kind of disheveled, disrespectful look on any member of the staff. I don't enjoy seeing a man's underwear in public. Okay...that being said, I have an excellent recommendation. After enjoying our breakfast, we decided to take a couple slices of the Oreo Cheesecake home to enjoy later for our dinner dessert. Not only did we enjoy it, we found ourselves wishing we had more...not that we could have eaten another bite, but the taste was incredible. It was rich, it was creamy, the chocolate ganache' on top was the perfect balance for the bite of oreo and the creamy cheesecake. It is top notch and I highly recommend it. Good job CCR, can't wait to try another of your desserts...

If you love seafood and salad, they have THE BEST crab/shrimp salad around. It's along the lines of a "Louie" and it's fantastic! The portions are more than generous and their homemade thousand island dressing is to die for! Check out their outdoor space - they have a wonderful deck to catch some sunshine on with a view of a small creek nearby. Very relaxing and the service is always friendly, fast and accommodating. Always my Go-To spot when in Snohomish.

*Beware of Food poisoing and uncaring (Chris) manager* We have eaten here on and off over the last couple years. Service is always an issue, rude, Sloooooooooooooooow waitress' and terrible music - downer music. Hit or miss not consistent food. This time was it, the last time! Food poisoning, vomiting and sick ... the manager Chris could of cared less, we called twice, she said the flu was going around, it was not the flu it was your food. They also filled the tomato juice bin with ketchup ... and were serving it, wouldn't an observant waitress smell the difference before it was served ? We called the health departement and I felt I owed it to other diners to let you know to beware here, they don' take food poisoning seriously! Eat at your own risk.

I planned a surprise birthday party for my father and had it at Collector's Choice Restaurant. Having never heard of the place, I was over the moon impressed with the customer service and how hard the manager and staff worked to make this night a night my father will never forget. After the initial venue for my father's birthday dinner fell through, I was told about Collector's Choice and how they have great food and a private room that overlooks the Snohomish River, providing a great atmosphere for a private dinner party. I called and spoke with the manager Serena, who was beyond gracious and bent over backwards to accommodate everything I asked for. Needless to say, the birthday dinner went off without any issues and the food was excellent. Due to the size of our dinner party, we had dinner served buffet style that included four (yes four) entre options. We had the Prime Rib, Salmon, Honey Baked Chicken and a mixed vegetable dish. The sides included Red Roasted Potatoes, salad and rolls. I was not surprised that we ran out of food :-) The staff that waited on us for this event were excellent and helped to make the night seamless. Since this was my first time at Collector's Choice, I really cannot speak to how it would be if you were to have a nice meal for two, but I can speak to what it would be like if you were to have a large dinner party. This restaurant will work with you to give you everything you need and then some. Thank you Collector's Choice for being a part of our family's special occasion!!

I didn't realize regular wonder bread now qualifies as Texas toast. $14 for 2 small slices of French toast 2 eggs and 2 strips bacon is ridiculous. The menu describes it as Texas toast.... Very misleading. The seafood omelet was filled with miniature shrimp from a freezer bag. We won't be back to Collectors Choice any time soon.

Having a hard time with this review as I was not in a good mood to start with. My in-laws decided it would be a good idea to go out for Thanksgiving dinner this year. I am "up" for going out at anytime EXCEPT Thanksgiving as needs to be at a home were you can watch Football and eat cheeseballs and smell that huge Turkey cooking all day. Did I mention watching Football? Ok so we decide to go here and we had great service and some nice touches as they make there own salad dressings from scratch and it is darn tasty. I am going with 3 stars as the service was great and the food was good but not outstanding. Would I go again? Sure as long as it isn't THANKSGIVING

Great breakfast food! Servers are polite, cheery and ready to give you a cup of coffee. They are willing to customize your order if you ask and its not super greasy. You aren't left with a greasy gut bomb afterwards. Very fresh and tasty. My only gripe is I wish they had avacado-not guacamole, to put on my breakfast. Guacamole is too heavy and I don't want all the additives. Other than that nothing to complain about! A big Pro is their outside deck. Great to sit out on a sunny morning and watch the skydivers and hot air balloons.

My wife and I eat out a lot due to the nature of our schedules. We are often greeted with ok service and ok food but nothing "memorable". I have to be honest, most of the time the food is luke warm, wait staff is usually friendly but can't seem to remember what you ordered 5 seconds ago and we come away with an experience less than what we expected. Our expectations are not that high. I just like things done as they are supposed to be. This was not the case at CCR. Our waitress Andrea was very pleasant with just the right blend of attention and "alone time" for us to enjoy our meal and visit. I ordered the Halibut special with a banana pepper coulee sauce and my wife ordered a steak. Both dishes came out hot and exactly as ordered. The flavor was incredible on the halibut. The evening and entire experience at CCR was a very pleasant one. We will be back to CCR and be comfortable recommending their restaurant to our friends.

Service, check! Smile & friendly, check! Yummy breakfasts, check check check! Specifically their chicken fried steak is killer and always perfectly cooked without being overly greasy. Again with the hashbrowns. I like mine really crispy without burning them and this place pulls it off each and every time. They recently moved to a new location which is much larger but I miss the original locations charm. When you are dining in old town Snohomish you look forward to the ambiance of the old way of living. For lunch we always get their cajuned chicken pita sandwich which is usually served with a side salad OR (when they have them) their waffle fries. Ahhhmazing and I am not one for fries. The prices have seemed to stay the same despite their move. It's a MUST eat!

Slow service waited 5 minutes while hostess was on phone. The burger was was one of the 70 to 80% frozen patties the smoked salmon soup tasted like canned clam chowder with a little salmon added

Food is really hit or miss. Disappointed with meager meat in the french dip sandwich. Bread sandwich is more like it. Their specials are generally very good, and I either really love my dinners here, or they are just okay. It's a risk I take. We sit in the bar, seems a bit more upbeat than the restaurant area, which is generally filled with a much older crowd. Good drinks. Good service. I like the historic photos in the entryway. Decor in bar could use some dusting.

When I saw that CCR had decent reviews, I began to wonder why my experience was so negative. Today was my parents anniversary, and we decided to go out to eat. They had fond memories of CCR before it moved and decided to come to the new location. When we walked in, the place was nearly empty. We were escorted to our table where there were 2 sets of silverware and 4 people. Hm. So we waited. Even after the bread came our waiter didn't bring us any silverware. My brother was then employed to take the napkins from an empty table. I ordered the Asian Chicken salad. How hard is it to mess that up? When the dish arrived, it looked promising. Wrong. The chicken had NO flavor, the lettuce was too large to handle, and the dressing did not go with the rest of the salad. I tried some of my mom's salmon because I had never had it before and it tasted like nothing. It was mush. I then spent the rest of the dinner eating one of the rolls. I finished my water and not one person came by to fill it up or ask us how our food was. Then we paid the bill and they brought these delicious (packaged) candies. Those, as well as the rolls, were the highlight of my experience.

I have been eating at the Collector's Choice for 20 + years. Like their new location with the deck overlooking the river. The food I would classify as typical American, never had a bad dish, but have to admit I mainly go there for the Monte Christos. Best I have eaten anywhere!! All I can say, I hope they never stop making them. Always had super friendly service as well!!

We are completely done with this restaurant. Pathetic! They change their help here more than most people change their underwear. They need to get a clue. Seriously. We will go someplace where they remember us where we feel more welcomed, like family. We'd just figured out a month or so ago how good their desserts were. We decided since the food was crappy, we'd just go there for dessert, only to find out, they no longer carry ANY of the desserts we loved. Unbelievable.

I have never been here for anything but breakfast, but I have been here regularly for that! My advice? Get something with Hollandaise Sauce on it. My particular favorite is the seafood omelet, with extra hollandaise of course. I talked to the staff and they do not use canned or frozen sauce but make it themselves. It shows. If lunch are dinner aren't good, so be it. But do have breakfast there. I prefer the home fries to the hash browns, myself. If I ask for fruit, I get a nice selection of actual fresh fruit. If I like, I can have a tasty homemade bran muffin instead of toast. There are plenty of patrons in the place who seem to agree.

I have the pleasure of enjoying brunch here about three times a month. It is my experience that the servers attentively record special requests, like no tomatoes, and bring food nice and hot! I've never eaten a bad dish here ... I typically have some sort of scramble with eggs and cottage potatoes, a yummy hot sandwich, or salad. I used to love their fries and tartar, but now the restaurant serves fries dipped in something so eat a healthier salad. Better for me anyway!

I most recently was here for breakfast. My boyfriend and I popped in on an early Sunday morning. I ordered the Quiche of the day, which was three cheese. I've recently had a quiche addiction. It was pretty good- loved the crust! I'm the type of person that can eat food whether it's hot or cold, but my quiche was warm on the outside and cold in the middle... don't really love both at the same time. I've visited the bar for happy hour and that's the best! They make a delicious spinach salad and have good appetizers. I like the ambiance of the bar better than the restaurant, even though that's where the view is. My parents live right down the road and this will always be a great spot to stop in for a bite.

My family took me here for breakfast on Saturday morning. When we walked in there was a very nice area with a hostess to greet us. The hostess seated us right away at a nice table in the spacious dining room. Right away the place seemed like a good choice. The dining room was light and bright with tables spaced quite a bit apart. It made for easy conversation having a good space between tables. A waitress came by immediately for a beverage order which she delivered quickly. After a short while we made our choices and the waitress promptly took our orders. We were pleasantly surprised with how quick our choices were delivered. I had the seafood omelet that came with hash browns and toast. The omelet was perfect, probably one of the best I ever had. Everyone else was very pleased with their choices too. When we were leaving I checked out the men's restroom and was surprised there too, it was spotless and very nice. So my final impression of this restaurant was that it is top shelf. When I'm back here visiting family again we will most definitely return here.

Collector's Choice is my new goto. Expect to see me there almost every weekend for breakfast. Food is great. I had eggs Benedict (with fresh crab) the first day. Eggs were cooked perfect and Hollandaise was really good, a little tang, and the consistancy was really good. Second day I had an omlette, the eggs again perfect and fluffy. Hashbrowns nice crispon first layer and fluffy potatoes inside. Probably best hashbrowns I've ever had. Price is good. I payed $13 for the crab Benes and $9 for the olmette. Beats most other places by two to three bucks. Atmoshpere. I sat in the bar area, which has new "classy" finishes. Nice colors, old pictures of snohomish. Think upscale wine / fine alcohol like atmosphere. Service was attentive. What kept me away from this place all this time was the marketing. Probably the name and signage and the front of the building is off from what my experience has been.

I think this restaurant does a very good job at consistently flavorful food! My daughter had the soup of the day with her meal, chicken tortellini, and I was kicking myself for not ordering it also. The flavors in this soup are quite complex. Fantastic flavor. I had the Swiss burger dip. Absolutely tasty! Their blue cheese dressing is also very, very good. It's a great restaurant to take the kids, too. We'll be back!

It stinks like dirty carpet as soon as you walk in. The food is Dennys quality, just don't expect anything more. I do luv the fact that they serve freezer jam with their toast which is why they get one star...hate to complain , but we have been here about 4x now ,hoping it gets better but it always gets worse :(

Love love love the CCR! Breakfast is alway amazing, the staff is happy and quick. Price is reasonable. This place is awesome. Just discovered it this year, and my family and I have been at least a half dozen times. Super yummy! Eggs were perfect, bacon yummy and crisp, delicious, buttery hashbrowns, bisquits are tdf! and pancakes make you leave room to try a bite : ) We will definitely be back!

Best breakfast in Snohomish! My favorite is good ole bacon, eggs, hashbrowns & toast. They have the absolute BEST bacon, the eggs are always perfectly cooked, and that's not easy on a to-go order which is what I usually get, and the toast is yummy. I love how buttery their hash browns are, but I do tend to like mine a little crispier, but they are still excellent. I have also had the standard cheeseburger & fries there, and they do it very well. Their new location is very nice. The owner posts lots of food pics on their facebook page, so if you're looking for pics try there. I'll try to remember to take one myself next time I go.

As some reviewers have noticed - Collector's Choice has moved. They've definitely tried to ditch the senior vibe hosting comedy and music nights several nights a week. The food is still ok-to-good. And while I've never been there for the late night experience the new bar is beautiful. Not so beautiful is the aftermath of all these late-night events in the parking lot.

For some reason, this is my dad's favorite restaurant so whenever I visit him, this is where we go. I've probably been here over 30 times. Service is always efficient though some of the waitresses are friendlier than others. The new location is spacious and modern, but I feel it lacks some of the charm that came with being tucked underneath an antique mall. I consider the food average, but consistent. My go-to menu item is usually half of a Monte Cristo sandwich with either hashbrowns (for breakfast) or a side green salad (for lunch). The small individual tubs of jam on the table go well with it. Snohomish doesn't have a whole to offer in the way of restaurants, so I find Collector's Choice to be a fine option for food when you're in the neighborhood. (In other words, it's probably not necessary to go out of your way to eat here.)

CCR was understated in appearance but more than made up for it with excellent food. This is a diamond in the rough. Great service followed by a delicious meal. Our group had fish n chips, chicken parmesan, seafood fettucini, baked potato, tenderloin and a bunch of other wonderful food. Everyone left full and happy.

I'm giving 3 stars taking into consideration the old location. I don't know what happened when they moved but it is not the same old Collectors Choice. I grew up here, as a kid with my parents then as a young adult for hangover food. Always spot on when it came to breakfast and the sweet brown rolls with dinner. But just went to the new location and not only do they not have the little rolls anymore the food isn't very good. Really disappointing. MonteCristo was okay but not as good as I remember (does the fact that I wasn't hungover factor in)? Anyway sad to see such a great place slide!!!

Salmon chowder -- delicious Service -- very attentive, very patient, very customer-focused Kid-friendly -- definitely (kid's menu is inside of a Golden Book) Beer -- fresh and clean Fries -- Papa papa papa ooooo mau mau Rolls -- dry Menu -- a tad pricey, probably a buck high on the dinner menu Refills -- oops, refilled a razzlebery iced tea with regular ice tea 3.5 stars

I went to this restaurant for breakfast a couple of times at their old location and was underwhelmed. The new location has a new menu and it's improved all around. First, the location is by the Snohomish river, so if you get a window seat you have a nice view (albeit with the landscaping firm on the other side). The tables are plentiful and there is abundant room to move around them. The food for breakfast is the usual fare, but it's done very well. I like the fresh fruit option instead of hash browns and the fact that the fruit doesn't come from a can.

Ever since this restaruant moved I am not impressed. The bar is actually a nicer place to eat than the restaruant part which seems cold and not well kept. The service isn't as good as it used to be either, they seem to be unexperienced. The food is disappointing also, it seems like they have lowered their standards.

I have been to Collector's Choice on many occasions and have had great food and service. I take friends there when they come from out of town. My last experience a few weeks ago was great!! Try the Prime Rib Dip!! I had a cup of the potato soup that was wonderful...my friend had the Salmon Chowder. She loved it!! Amazing french fries....I have never had poor service here. I was not a fan of the original place under the Antique Mall. I love the new place...clean, attractive, the outside deck when it is warm and the view of the river!!

This and the Maltby Café are the best breakfast places I've found since relocating to Snohomish this fall. I love their salads (the enormous Cobb, with tender chicken breast slices and inch-square bacon bits, and smoked salmon salads are my faves); they use real bleu cheese dressing, not the vile "throw some crumbled bleu cheese in mayonnaise to save a buck" dressing served by too many restaurants. The burgers are tasty, thick, and served on a toasted, hand-sliced roll (not an ordinary bun). The breakfasts are fantastic; on my last visit, I grooved on a smoked salmon scramble with cream cheese and green onions. They're always very generous with the smoked salmon, and with their tasty bacon. The service has always been attentive, efficient, and accurate, no matter how busy it's been when I'm there.

Downgrade my rating from three to two. After a second visit I decided my daily calory budget is too precious to waste on this submediocre food. Originally I wrote: Standard fare, good enough breakfast, not great. New location is pleasant, including a dining deck overlooking thr Pilchuck River.

The service was good, the bloody mary was bland, the food was ok, a bit on the greasy side and my eggs were a little runnier than I prefer. Beware, my fiance and I both had stomach issues afterwards....won't be eating there again.

I've eaten here twice, and have interacted with the friendly staff on Facebook. Some of the specials they announce frequently give me an excuse to make the short trip to town. Even on the few occasions that they are understaffed, the food is very good and the service is close to excellent. I hope to eat here more often and will try to save room for dessert next time.

The food here is decent. The fries are awesome, the caesar salads are good, it's a fine place to get a burger. The service is really unimpressive. It takes an hour to get a chicken burger and a side salad. They come by with their vacuums while you're eating, too. Someone needs to tell them that behavior isn't even appropriate at BK. All in all this is a local joint. As in, if you're a local, you'll likely get good service.

I remember fond memories of this place at there old location growing up in Snohomish. I don't live in Snohomish anymore, but my mom does and she suggested we try the new location and see if it was how I remembered it. It was not, we got there around 1200 pm on a Tuesday and did not get out of there until almost 2 pm. I ordered the crab melt sandwich when I got my food what was placed in front of me was the crab Benedict. When the waitress finally came back to check on us I let her know that wasn't what I had ordered, she acted all surprised and confused and took the food from me and said it would be about 20 minutes more for them to make the right dish. She came back apologizing and actually said "I didn't realize there was a difference',...um shouldn't you know the menu? She said she would comp the dish, however when I finally got the correct dish I was no longer hungry and asked for a box. She DID NOT take my meal off of our check. Highly disappointing and when I visit Snohomish again I will be going to the Cabbage Patch or some other restaurant.

Stopped in a few days ago on my parent recommendation. The space had been remodeled and looked great compared to the old place. The food was good above my expectation. Prices where good for the quality of food we got. The salmon chowder was amazing and I loved there take on a turkey, bacon sandwich. The only down side was the service, our drinks where left empty a lot and we had to find someone to get our check. But over all it was a nice meal in a comfortable clean atmosphere. It was really nice to have a place to go in Snohomish that wasn't fast food.

I recently hosted a family reunion at CCR. From the very start, it was a wonderful experience. Greg the chef went over the menu with me and helped me decide what would be the best choices for a buffet. The choices were perfect. We also decided on a no host bar. Nicole and Michelle took excellent care of all of us. They took care of 60 guests with such ease. I am looking forward to booking another event in the future at CCR.

Bad bad bad. Thought I would give this place another try but it was worse than the old location. Ice tea had stuff floating in it, ran out of bread, took an hour to get food, squash was cold, and the prices were way too high for the quality of the food. We won't be back.

We've found Collector's Choice to be an excellent spot for any meal. Their new location will be particularly wonderful during warmer weather when the planned outside decks will be available with a view up the Valley. They don't hurry a group of friends who gather for lunch and have a lot to talk about. l like their sandwich choices, especially the Swiss Burger Dip, and the bread pudding is a good homestyle choice for dessert. True, service can vary a bit--especially in the evening. However, breakfast and lunch wait staff have been consistently friendly, competent and check frequently for coffee (which is not weak) refills.

I searched high and low for a venue with live music, good food, good service and reasonable prices for a surprise 50th birthday party for my boyfriend on a Saturday in May. Many internet searches, site visits and phone calls later I found a hidden gem: Collector's Choice Restaurant in the little town of Snohomish. The staff was fantastic - not only serving our large group for dinner (20 people) but also in setting up their private banquet room for even more people who were there for the surprise part of the party. The band, One Eyed Jack, was set to play at 9:00 PM, and they were also behind closed doors in part of the banquet space. The food is not fancy, but our dinner was very good - the cowboy steak, seafood fettuccini and the bacon wrapped scallops were especially delicious! The best part was when the sliding doors opened for the band and banquet room and - surprise - 25 more people were there for the birthday party! The staff had done a beautiful job in decorating our tables with the decorations we provided - even hanging a giant poster of the birthday boy . They were all very attentive, serving drinks and appetizers all evening long to our group of 50+. And the band was great - literally everyone got up and danced to OEJ's classic rock n'roll ... the party went on till well after midnight. Wonderful night, wonderful venue - thank you to Bob and all of the great staff at CCR - we'll be back again for sure! P.S. the new deck looks amazing and I hear they are going to have live muisic outside and accommodate private parties there this summer - yay!

I just ate there for the first time. I was asked whether I wanted to sit in the dining area or lounge and told that either way it was the same service. It wasn't very busy and the service wasn't all that fast, even though the waitress was right. I tried the crab over English muffin dish and a side salad with honey mustard dressing. The salad was a nice mixed salad and didn't taste like it was out of the bag. The honey mustard dressing was spicier than most, but one of the better honey mustard dressings I've had I must say. The croutons appeared to be out of the box, and not done in house. The English muffin was not just wet, it was soggy. The crab tasted like it was out of a can but I could never really be sure as there were more than one shell/hard pieces of crab I had to pick out. That is just poor preparation to me. All together the taste was a decent balance but the hard crab pieces and soggy muffin were too big a mountain to climb. I barely finished half. Just based upon this one experience I would have to give it two stars. For a club soda and the dish with tip it was about 18 dollars. I've had far better similar preparations at local seafood places for less money. If you can't deliver, then take it off of the menu. A decent salad can't save a messy entree.

Love happy hour in the bar. 1/2 price appetizers! (with the exception of coconut shrimp, my fave, but full price) Try a 1lb. plate of wings and a micro brew. Heck I might even see you there about 5!

I've been back multiple times and yes the soups are homemade and were a delight. The rueben sandwich was yummy. I've been going for lunch in the lounge. Great service in there from the waitresses. Everyone around me who eats has enjoyed there meals also. You should give it a try for a family style meal.

They have a Monte Cristo! When taking a tattoo studio to an antique mall you never expect to find a place that will serve them deep fried sandwiches and lemon drops, but there they were! The waitress even amused the artist who decided to wear the gas mask she bought upstairs antique-a-polluza. We even did a photo shoot of a plastic dinosaur doing 'lines' of powdered sugar from the sandwich. It was good food, better drinks and an outstanding waitress who never let a glass go dry!

We have been here a couple of times. My gf knows of the owner and I guess this place has been around since she was a kid. The best deal is the Tuesday steak and shrimp special for two. Very reasonable. Yes, it is somewhat of a diner/denny's place - however it is more quaint.

Think of Denny's quality food with worse service and you'll have the Collector's Choice Restaurant. Oh, and higher prices. Honestly I gave it two tries, once for breakfast and once for dinner, and they were pretty consistently bad. Plenty of other places to eat in Snohomish, I'd recommend just about any of them instead.

Collector's Choice is great for any meal! I always love what I get when I go there. They make wonderful halibut, great club sandwiches and yummy breakfasts. They have a lot of variety on the menu which is great if you're with a large group of people or kids. It's a bit pricey for Snoho... but still good.

The food here is above average, the coconut prawns are extremely good and the service has always been great. There are a few things that I will hold a fourth star for, one they are a bit pricey not overly pricey but in line line or on par with the overall experience. They have very few salad choices, I went wanting something like a Cobb or chef salad but they only had a few options, one a blackened chicken salad which doesn't sound bad but not what I was in the mood for. This is definitely a dinner place, the breakfast isn't that great, and the hashbrowns remind me of the standard dehydrated potato shreds, the worst part is defiantly the coffee, it lacks any flavor at all, like drinking water and you can see through it. I asked for a better cup and I was told that is how they make it... Intentionally, why do they hate coffee? Soon this placebos moving by the JC Pennys in Snohomish where even though it's a larger spot it is a horrible location, poor decision made by whoever it was that chose to add a teaspoon of coffee per pot. Go here for a nice and comfortable dinner after a walk through the antique stores, and have a stiff drink. Last time we were here we tried a bartender attempt at a new drink, they replaced it with a "you didn't like it but thanks for trying it" which was nice.

Maybe they were short staffed this morning because we didn't see our waitress very often and after waiting 40 minutes for our breakfast orders, the food was only luke warm. The plates had obviously been sitting for an extended period of time. I wouldn't recommend this place for breakfast and I won't be returning.

Much of the food items served up at most dining establishments are nothing more than stuff made by an outside source and then heated up on a grill, microwave or oven. Collectors choice uses SYSCO food suppliers as their source. I know this because I see the SYSCO truck backed up to the place every week when I drive by early in the morning. SYSCO is considered the higher end of restaurant suppliers quality-wise. Food Services of America a distant second. So whats that all mean to the average joe and jane who sit down for a meal at Collectors Choice? The cooks don't really create anything, they just mix it all together and heat it up. Breakfast is generally the better fare at Collectors Choice. Omelette's are decent, most fruit items are fresh or at least taste like it. A lot of the hired help, specifically the wait staff is never really friendly. Especially the under 25 types. The dinner menu by the way is a bit of a grab bag. Pricey, and some items are good, others are better off passed over. The seafood items just don't land. This is where the food sometimes gets served either under cooked or low temp/cold. (See above comments about heating up pre-prepared food). Collectors Choice is only a few steps from being a great place to dine out. They just need to show the twothings that will kill off a restaurant if its not in evidence: Consistency and quality..

Ha ha ha! This is too funny. I see that I agreed with Milo D. on Maltby Cafe (over rated), and then who do I see giving one of my favorite breakfast places, Collector's Choice, a bad review?? Milo D! Well, it just proves that Milo and I are not one and the same person. I think the breakfasts at collector's Choice are great. They have a wonderful variety, even for someone like me that is allergic to wheat. I usually have one of their delicious scrambles, or if I am not that hungry, a lighter breakfasts with just eggs, a little bacon and some potatoes. The servers are very friendly and unpretentious, which goes a long way with me. After you are done with breakfast, you can take a nice stroll through the shops in Snohomish.
