    We happened to stay in SeaTac while home hunting, and found this gem of a place! My husband got, in his words "the best prime rib sandwich of my f@&king life, and an excellent Old Fashion (it's a drink)". There house bourbon is very good. I got the mixed platter, and it was juicy, flavorful, and plate licking good! I do believe my drinks were a little strong, but easily forgiven if you don't have to drive. The service was fine, not outstanding, but it was very late at night. They seemed friendly but a little distracted. I will be recommending this to everyone who eats meat! (Note: no good option for vegetarians and very little "white meat" options for those who don't care for red meat.)

    I feel torn about this review. I learned of this place for a lunch meeting I had with my work, and it was fantastic! I had the Northwest Style Salmon Cake Salad and it was extremely good, and filling! I was so excited for the other food listed on the menu, and the place smelled delicious, that I decided to have my husband and I go to this location a week later. This is where I was extremely confused. It was horrible! The gentleman took our order, and forgot what drinks we asked for, and then forgot to put the request in. I asked for Traditional Brown Derby Cobb (18$) and my husband the St. Louis Cut Baby-Back Ribs (He is from St. Louis so he was excited, 22.5$) The salad came out and the chicken tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a few days, in the very back. Very dry, and the amount was so-so, usually would spend about 13$ for this, and at other places you'd even get a roll or something with it. The Baby-Back ribs were pretty good, but the coleslaw and bean side were very bland and tasted store bought. Afterwards it took forever to get our check and they tried to charge us double for our drinks. If I did not try this place out for dinner this place would get 5 stars, but the dinner was just not good.

    My gf and I are from Langley, BC and were we ever glad we picked this place. You never know what restaurants to choose from, being in an area that you're unfamiliar with. (Flying from SEA - NY tomorrow). As we walked up to the restaurant, that great smell of smoke roasted goodness coming out of the roof stack, filled the air. Then you walk in, and right there in front of you, is a small oven thats baking fresh corn bread. What an aroma. Wow and fantastic. AND, one of these hot fresh cornbreads is taken by the host and put in front of you the moment you sit down. Followed by a canister filled with some kind of wicked honey-butter-syrup that he drizzles on top of your delicious complimentary treat.....mmm. We ordered the Grand City Combo with slaw and beans. Great idea and my gf and I couldn't quite finish. A sample of all their bbq plus their slaw and beans and it was all pretty delicious. The staff is quirky-awkward-friendly and the speed of service was very good. I boosted my rating from a 4star to a 5star because they made such a great first impression. You'll be happy with your decision to try this out. Im looking forward to a future return.

    Trapped in a conference near the airport, my friends and I discovered this place while desperately trying to avoid pricey, crappy hotel restaurant food. After trying Sharps for dinner, we ended up returning two more times...the food is solid, plus the manager and staff treated us right on the first night when there was a misunderstanding about which menus were available at what times (the kitchen is open until midnight, but the dinner menu ends at 11 pm). About the food... - 10 hour prime rib (8 oz) - tasty. - Lil' blazer fried chicken sliders - these were good, but the "chili slaw" that comes on the side (best placed on the sandwich) didn't have any kick; definitely not deserving of the name. - Texas Red hot barbecue sandwich - this sandwich's heat made up for the lack of spice in the slaw; the hot chili relish makes this sandwich a winner. - Blazer wings - a lot of places just slop buffalo sauce on wings and call it a day, but not here; these have a sauce that is a delicious mix of sweet and heat. St. Louis cut baby back ribs - not great, but not bad either; they were meaty and it fell off the bone. Hand cut fries - served with everything; they were cooked just right, well-seasoned, and served in generous portions. That said, the best thing on the menu was the DOUBLE FUDGE ICE CREAM SANDWICHES WITH SALTED CARAMEL SAUCE. These homemade ice cream sammies might be the best dessert I've ever had. I could go on and on about the flavor combinations...but just order them and see for yourself; they're probably unlike anything you've ever had. If you're in SeaTac, skip the overrated 13 Coins (where the food's quality doesn't match the ambiance). Cross the street to Sharps Roasthouse; if you're in town long enough, you can make your way through the menu.

    While on a business trip recently, I was actually just walking around looking for somewhere to eat. I was lured to another eatery but when I crossed the street, something told me to go inside... Glad I did! I ordered the Grand City Combo and everything on the plate was Off Thee Hook! This plate comes with enough food for 2 people, so if you're by yourself, you might be lucky enough to bring home tomorrow's breakfast in a doggy bag. Tasty bar b cue, the pork loin was moist and flavorful, as were the chicken, ribs, and sausage. The roasted veggies were cooked to perfection. When I return to this area, I will definitely be back! Fast and friendly service.

    Saw it before reading the food is great the staff is great what it takes just a little bit variety to get a 5. I've been coming here for a couple years now but when I lived in the area and now that I travel through all the time. I would like to see a little more variety only so much you can do with chicken

    I was staying at a hotel nearby and wanted something substantial for dinner. As I entered the restaurant, I could smell the roast chicken. Mmmm good. I walked over to the bar area, and wow! What a liquor selection. Their menu boasts of 508 different spirits and a hundred beers. For me, just an iced tea, but it was good. The menu is large and centered on meat and potatoes. I thought about getting some roast chicken and should have stuck with that. I instead ordered a rack of St. Louis style ribs. Big mistake. Being from the South, I know my BBQ and smoked ribs. At least my side items of 3-bean vegetarian stew and mashed potatoes saved my meal. The stew was flavorful and made from black, kidney and some other bean along with some veggies. The potatoes were hand mashed with small chunks of potato, and good garlic and seasoning. Now to the ribs. They serve the BBQ sauce in a side dish and not on the meat. Good. I always eat the first couple of ribs without sauce so I can taste the smoke flavor and dry rub in the meat. I barely made it through the first rib before I had to pour the sauce on the remaining ribs. I can't place the specific taste of the ribs, other that to say it wasn't good. No smoke ring in the meat. Fall off the bone, as though they were boiled. Just overly moist blanched white meat with some kind of rub. Horrible. The BBQ sauce made the ribs edible, but the sauce tasted mass produced and had a bit too much spice. This restaurant easily could have four stars. The atmosphere is great. A large wheel on the wall in the bar is spun every 30min and randomly selects the next drink special. I should have gotten the chicken.

    Alright. That's it. This place is amazing. A few friends from Rotary took me to this joint claiming it had the best hot wings I'll ever eat. They completely hyped it up and told stories about how the chicken wings are baked to perfection, seasoned, then flash fried so that all the flavors are sealed in. Well, my fellow Yelpians.... they weren't lying. The wings here are freaking glorious. I was absolutely blown away by the chicken wings and the clam chowder here. The flavors are intensely perfect. I also had the red spice 1/2 chicken---pretty amazing, though the portions were massive and by then I was already stuffed. I'm not sure what the other reviews are talking about...other than that they all apparently didn't have the wings. What are they thinking... Moral of the story? 1. Get the wings. 2. Get the chowder 3. Get more wings That's it. :) Perfect spot right next to the airport

    Very convenient to the Double Tree and other hotels. I had the 16 oz. prime rib that was very good. Service was excellent and food tasty. At 40.00 it is a bit expensive but there is a smaller cut also. You could also opt for the roasted chicken. If you are in the area go as it is the best place around to eat.

    Rolled in here late on a weeknight. It was busy in the bar area at 9 PM, as expected for a place near the airport. Good beer selection, especially if you like local Seattle crafts. The food was good, but not great. Definitely not commensurate with the prices. I got a combo plate with chicken, ribs, sliced turkey, and a sausage. Everything was drenched in sauce. The sauce was good, but was so overwhelming that you couldn't really taste the meat. Overall, I may stop here again if staying near the airport. However, there are a lot of options in this area.

    I am staying across the street (doubletree) and I was hoping these guys would have the LA Kings game on. That was a bust as all they had on was ESPN. The service was quick and accommodating. I had the roasted half chicken. The dinner was good, not great. I had a ketel one with soda and that was all soda, so that was a bummer. It's kind of dark with red lights. If you are a Seinfeld fan, think if that episode with the Kenny's roasters, where Kramer can't sleep because of the neon lights. That's this place. Horacio was my server in the bar area, and he was very nice and attentive. Food was average and my drink was below average.

    Had lot's of fun at this place! **My rating is not based on the food or drink quality** My visit was on Friday, June 13th. I paid with my debit card a total of $42.71. The charge amount showed up as a hold on my account. Then on Saturday, June 14th, I noticed Sharps once again placed a hold on my account for $42.17. Today, the first charge was authorized but the 2nd one is still there. I called the restaurant and was told a manager would call me back (in a few hours BTW). This issue is still not resolved. Great place to eat and drink but won't be coming back. **update** Charge was dropped. Good food and great beer.

    Late night happy hour with the hub while staying at sea-tac hotel. Good prices on late night happy hour food, but the taste was pretty bland. Nothing special or memorable. Not worth the money -- even with happy hour discount! Liked the ambiance though. Would be a relaxing place to chill if you are only interested in drinking. Unfortunately, food is more of a priority for us than drinks.

    I give this place zero stars but this app won't let me so I have no choice but to give it 1 star in order to post. The food was NOT good at all. They were out of the meat I wanted. I ended up with rib eye that was tasteless and nothing but fat. My side dish of mashed potatoes was cold. Their complimentary corn bread was very dry and falling apart. I Ordered a cocktail that was supposed to be bubbly the soda served in it was flat!. Food was brought out very fast that leads me to think they just had the food ready and served it with no warming up!

    Way way too expensive based on the quality and quantity of food. If they would not have already sat the fam down, we would have left. To clarify, The food is good but seriously...there is zero about the food or the service that warrants the prices they are charging...in fact, i cant even remember what any of the five of us ordered! It is one of the very few meals in my life that I have actually walked away from feeling ripped off. We won't be back.

    I decided to go to the Roasthouse tonight for dinner. I ordered the sliced sirloin and it was undercooked and very tough. You have to pay $2.00 extra for a salad and it was good. The vegetables were not great though.The highlight of the dinner was at the end when they bring you atomic fireballs. It reminds me of when I was a kid. I have eaten here two times lately and have been disappointed both times. I think I won't return. Service was good.

    What an awesome place this is. I've eaten here before, but after today's meal, it was time to yelp it out. I was staying across the street at the DoubleTree (see review), looking for food alternatives to the overpriced and rude waitstaff there. I was at Sharp's for lunch and ordered the salmon and chips. However, I didn't want the fries that came with the order. I wanted to substitute for some veggies. My server, Jason recommended the steamed broccoli. Holy smokes, everything was fantastic. The salmon was fresh and hot with a light, tasty batter. The broccoli was lightly steamed to perfection. They were served with a creamy mustard dipping sauce. I've seen reviews here with complaints about their prices. I thought the price was fair, at least on the lunch menu. I got 3 very large chunks of fresh, local salmon and a bunch of delicious fresh broccoli. You get what you pay for. If you want cheap, there is a Denny's, jack in the box, subway and I think a Taco Bell nearby. The service was outstanding. I'll be back, nice job.

    Worst experience in a restaurant in years. Completely ignored by staff for first 15 minutes after greeter seated me and took a beer order. Never got the beer and finally walked out. This used to be a great place with good food, great service and reasonable prices. Don't know aboit the food but the service is miserable and the prices have gone way up.

    Pretty good bbq. For the pacific nw. Not in the style of the nw. The Grand City combo is the way to go. Chicken, turkey, ribs, sausage, & two sides! Alot of good beers on tap. Kinda pricey, but the combo was alot of food. I liked there house hot sauce better than there bbq sauce. The cornbread is sweet, so, skip the maple butter.

    Close to the airport, huge selection at the bar and good "on tap" as well. Appreciated the house made cornbread at the table. Ordered the Herb 1/2 roasted Chicken- juicy and tender.     We came here as family and absolutely enjoyed ourselves. My parents have come here many times before and we all especially LOVE the prime rib!! The mash potatoes, pot roast style veges, and rice are also fabulous! My dad thoroughly loves the lamb shanks and the sharp cheddar burger! The brownies and apple crisp each make a delicious dessert to end the night with! The beer is also fabulous! We will definitely be back again many more times!!

    Great experience! Food was delicious. Got free corn bread. Overall a good experience. If you want some pretty good BBQ then go here. We had a party of 36 and called only 3 hours before and they did great! Fast food and they seated us all. I would come back if I ever come to Seattle for business.

    I met my girl friend there for our lunch break. She had a Cobb salad and I had an open faced turkey sandwich. When the waiter arrived with our meal, the Cobb salad was in a large glass. I thought how is she going to eat that? He then placed it upside down and poured into on to a plate. Odd, right???? My meal was typical. Cranberries, mash side and broccoli. The turkey was delicious. I could taste the roasting. Great food! I was a little skeptical as I walked in. There was a very large sign that said "10 min or it's free" stating that we should be receiving our lunch in 10 minutes. Why would you have to have a gimmick like that if you have good food????

    I feel Ripped Off. In the capital sense. I had a pretty good sandwich here for a business lunch this week and loved the turkey enough to come back and try to get just the turkey for take-out. The front desk was empty so we had to wait a few minutes before someone managerial came out and asked us if he could help us. I asked him if there was an option where I could take out some turkey and just that. He looked confused as though I'd asked for something extraordinary (they make terrific roast turkey, why wouldn't people want to take some home?) and started perusing the menu for something matching what I wanted. We both homed in on an item that simply reads: FRuitWood SmokeRâ„¢ all natuRal BReaSt oF tuRkey... $14 for a small portion and $18 for a large. I asked for a small and she asked me what two sides I wanted so I asked for two sides of broccoli. After a 10 minute wait, she charged me $20.26 and quickly figured they gave me a large order by mistake. No biggie other than how much it begs the question: how hard is it to take an order for one item when it's slow? Oh well. More turkey for me, right? Wrong. When I got home, I had 6 slices of turkey covered in gravy, a side of cranberry sauce and two stalks of broccoli slathered in something orange I could not identify by sight nor taste (see picture). The turkey tastes great, but for so little at $20 a pop? Does that mean they give you 3 slices for $14??? Guess I'll be roasting my own. I won't eat here anymore. I seem to have lost my appetite...

    This was close to our hotel. We walked there bc of the smell of the BBQ. Pros: * Seat yourself... there are Reserved signs but they were nice about it and let us sit there. * For lunch, orders come out 10 min or less or else it's free! Sweet. * Free fruitwood chips (not chips... they are for fire and BBQ) and a recipe for chicken * Nice service * BBQ was good... fiance got pork sandwich and I got the Pulled Pork Salad and the clam chowder Cons: * Pulled pork salad was a but too much BBQ in it and not enough salad. :/ * Lemonade was too sweet.     Staying out by Seatac , the motel recommended us go there. It is a Roast house with chicken, pork, beef and salmon all rosted on a rotiserater . With some veggie options( not many). Service at the bar was attentive and friendly. The Carolina pull pork was zesty and filling. The salmon fish and chips were ok, but not re order able .:) great beer and generous cocktail pours.

    Highly recommend!!! Kid friendly, quick and friendly service too. We are from out of town just for the night and read the reviews on Yelp and decided to try it out..... So glad we did!! The cornbread they bring when you sit down is good and crumbly, they cater to kids with a goodie bag, the homemade tomato soup is out of this world!!! The ribs were meaty and delicious too. If you are in the area, you will not be disappointed.

    After being in Seattle for the past 10 days and eating here 3 times (becoming the current Duke in the process) I feel behooved to give them a update: The service is still mediocre at best. The pulled meat salad was awesome! especially at 50% FOR HAPPY HOUR! its a steal for $6.00 I was really disappointed with their Monday big bones special. I was expecting big bone in prime rib not bronto bbq. It was ok nothing to starve till Monday for. The 50 cent menu between 11-12 still can be beat.. So it's still a mixed bag feel for me.

    Sharps Roaster & Alehouse is a solid spot near the SeatTac airport (not in the airport) if I need to kill time or have dinner before picking up someone at the airport. Most places in the airport sucks so it is worth coming to Sharps Roaster & Alehouse before your departure. Once you walk in, you notice and smell the huge display beef and chicken roasting in this place. The huge bar to the right with wall to wall alcohol and big screen lcd. Service can be slow when busy but they do the best they can since it's a high volume place that come through the bar area. The handcut fries are like crack, you can't have just one. (ask for ranch) Mac & Jack African Amber.     This was amazing!! We went to seattle for a weekend of football and food. This was close to our hotel and the airport. I had an aewsome salmon and my son had a trio of pork, turkey and chicken. It was all very well done. We went for a later dinner but everything seemed very fresh. I would go back in an instant. Staff was friendly and helpful.

    Disappointed this time - the food was ok - not great like my first visit last year! Ordered the burger (the owner says it's the best burger he's ever had - that was not my experience) to be cooked medium & got well done w/too much special sauce & not nearly enough cheese! The French fries were barely warm & over cooked! Service was good but again not great! I'm likely to dine somewhere else on my next trip to Seattle!

    Been enjoying Sharps for 20 years' since they opened. Last night was a routine stop for me, 2 cold Mannys ales and their excellent burger. The bartender has been there as long as I can remember and our server 9 yrs, which says a lot about the mgmt. The only reason I didn't give all 5 stars is because the waiter dropped the ball on part of my order, which he promptly made-up.....no worries, just not perfect. There is no reason you should settle for substandard hotel food when Sharps is an easy walk from many, and the better hotels (Hilton for ex) will shuttle you. 2 min walk across the st from Doubletree.

    The food is expensive. The service is direct and charming, and the food is delicious! I hate eating at places that are overly priced and small portioned. This place is expensive but at least you get a lot for your money. The food is cooked with perfection and flavored with BBQ sauce. My wife and I ordered The Grand City Combo for the both of us and it was amazing. The chicken was flavorful and juicy The sausage was spicy and full of flavor and the ribs were fall of the bone perfect. This plate came with two sides so, we had two orders of mashed potatoes. The service was quick and friendly and we had no problems asking questions and getting answers. The corn bread that is served on the table is awesome but, you have to have the maple syrup that is offered. You won't be sorry. If your in the Sea-Tac area or you have a long lay-over in Seattle Int'l airport make sure to stop by this restaurant. As a side note the locals keep telling me about their many drink specials and beer that they serve so, if you are a drinker this is also the place for you.

    It's been a few months since we ended up here, but just when I thought it couldn't get any better, it did. It was busy, about 7:30 on Friday night, but we were able to find a spot in the bar. Rocky was our server, and he was terrific. He guided us through our evening more like our personal assistant than an order-taker. Helpful and informative, and ready with suggestions or whenever we needed something, even though he had a full section. My wife and father-in-law both went with the Prime Rib, and if you haven't had it here you're truly missing out. It's slow-roasted for the better part of a day..... and they were both raving about the flavor and texture of their 16oz slabs of goodness. I had the Turkey Melt, and it was even better than I remembered. (Here's a little tip: Ask for it without lettuce and tomato. A little less moisture allows the flavor and texture of the applewood-smoked turkey and thick-cut bacon to shine through. Then ask for a side of BBQ sauce. The sandwich comes with Au Jus, but if you MIX those two together... well.... I'll just let you be the judge of how damn good it is). They cut their own fries in-house there, and that can be tough to execute at times. But these were absolutely spot on. Hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Oh, and did I mention that our beers were delicious? They have 26 on tap and offer 16, 22 and 36oz sizes. Yeah, that's right.... I said 36. The manager on duty, Josh, stopped by to make sure we were having a great experience as well. Overall, a terrific experience. I'm still amazed how many people I talk to don't know about this place. It's a must-stop if you're anywhere near the airport, or are willing to drive a bit to indulge in a perfect marriage of food quality, service and comfortable atmosphere. Well done Sharps!

    This place has a bar with booze that covers the entire back wall. I think I smiled the entire time I was there because I was impressed with the number of options one has to choose from. Bartender spins the wheel every 45 minutes or so for drink specials, which is always nice if you wanna try something a little different. I was probably should've gotten something bbq'd but a burger was calling my name, so that is what I had. Nothing special about it, but it was delicious...you can't go wrong if you add bacon. The service was a little slow, but there were quite a few people sitting in the bar and only one server. For the number of people being served, she was pretty good and still managed to smile and be friendly. I did think this place was a little expensive for the offerings, but the amazing alcohol selection kind of makes you forget about it...temporarily

    Wow.You know when you walk in and see the side of beef being roasted in front of you that this is not a normal burger and beer place. Service begins with a great cornbread type of muffin--that is too good to describe. Food is awesome. We shared the triple platter and still couldn't eat it all. Service was great. When you leave, they have provided a rub and recipe for you to take home in a little bag--and as many atomic fireballs as you can eat. Try it you will love it.

    Stoppped in for a drink and stayed for dinner. The bartender Patrick was super efficient and very friendly. The choice of craft beers on tap was impressive. The choices for whiskeies was endlass. They had about 10 different Irish whiskies and over 20 scotch whiskies available. This was the best inventory I have ever seen in a bar. My wife had the 2 cheese grilled cheese sanwhich which was outstanding and I had the Nacho Platter which I thoroughly enjoyed. Great place to eat and drink. Friendkly bar crowd and great service and products.

    We came in out of town from Southern CA for a family funeral. The place was highly recommended by several hotel guests, as well as the receptionist at the front desk. We were a little skeptical; however, we decided to try anyways. The food was excellent! Honestly, the best wings we've ever tasted and we come from a family of cooks! They were roasted with dry rub so they weren't greasy or fried! Perfectly seasoned! The BBQ sauce was AMAZING!! Surprisingly good. We were so impressed we purchased a bottle. (we are very picky food people). The service was great! Our waitress, Katrina, answered all our questions about the dishes we ordered as well as dishes we saw her delivering to other tables. She was very knowledgeable and made our experience very pleasurable. Highly recommended if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed!!

    In short, an overpriced mediocre dining experience. Started out with indifferent service from Dana the hostess. She left us standing and waiting for a table in the nearly empty restaurant while she carried on a protracted discussion with someone who came in looking for a job application AFTER we came in. She then disappeared to the back to find out when Sharp's would be hiring. Only after that were we seated. Finally seated we perused the pricey menu. My wife chose a split roasted chicken ($18.50) and I ordered the Grand City Combo ($31). Her chicken was succulent and flavorful as was her side order of red skin mashed potatoes. Her cole slaw was well done, too. My selection, on the other hand was disappointing. While the sausage was good, the ribs were mediocre, the pork and breast meat of the chicken was so dry as to be inedible. The broccoli and French fries were good, but the meats and half of the fries were drowned in a barbeque sauce that was overwhelmingly sweet. Your best bet, if you must eat at Sharp's, is to sit in the bar at Happy Hour. That way, if the marginal food and indifferent service let you down, at least it won't cost you most of a Benjamin.

    Mmmm good. Pulled Pork Sandwich was delicious. Great selection of local and not so local beers. The appetizer salad was also delicious and not boring at all. A bit pricey but worth it.     I'll give this place a 4 for their booze and three for their food. They have a wide selection of beers on tap. If your seated in the bar area, you'll see all these different handles. There's probably more than 50 of em! For the food was so so. First I asked for Prime Rib and they were out. No problem... Then I asked for lamb shank and again, they were out. Oh no.. Third time was a charm and had trio of roast, pork, chicken, and turkey with side broccoli aioli and 3 bean stew. The portions were generous and looked very good. I first dug into the stew, didn't have much flavor. Broccoli was cooked fine but hardly any aioli. Next was the roasts. My favorite had to been the pork which was juicy but the birds didn't fly. They were pretty dry so I added some gravy on the side. The gravy was lumpy and didn't have much flavor. Overall this place was okay. Some hits and misses but during lunch they have a policy of not taking longer than 10 minutes for your food to arrive or it's free... I wonder if this rule applies for a large party...

    This place looks like Chotchkie's from Office Space! Or TGIFridays if you haven't seen that movie. Came to this place one night because I stayed at the Doubletree right across the street and I already been to Mango Thai (next door) the night before. They got a wide variety of beers, so if you're coming here to drink only, it would've been rated a star higher. We asked the waiter for recommendations, and he recommended the ribs and a couple of the sandwiches. I ended up ordering one of his recommendations, the pulled pork sandwich. It was alright. The service was alright as well. The waiter got us our drinks and orders, then disappeared until a little after we finished our meals. Overall this place was okay if you got nothing else to do around the airport area and want a beer. If you're in for wine and/or want to dine as well, go to Mango Thai next door.

    When you're seated at your table you'll find cornbread drizzled with honey waiting for you. To be fair I'm not a fan of cornbread, in fact previously I've only enjoyed it when it's been deep fried and cover in ice cream, but this was really nice. I ordered the roaster trio thinking it would be a good way the sample everything on the menu. However instead of being a collection of different entries, it was a proper menu which just happened to be made up of three different delicious meats. Everything had just a hint of lovely smokiness, was cooked perfectly and covered with a reasonable amount of TWO different gravies (with extra on the side if you felt the need to ruin things by making them float). My sides, potatoes and broccoli, we're fresh and well balanced. My one complaint would be that the portion size was quite large and with the food being so good I totally over did it. Also the strawberry lemonade I had was unbelievably good, not a lot of lemon flavor in it, but it was like sucking fresh strawberries though a straw! One final tip, pass on the "fireball" candies that come with the cheque. They really are very hot and not something you need to suffer through after a lovely meal.

    On our way to the airport, we stopped here for lunch. It is conveniently close to Wally Park where we always park for long trips. The food here has always been top notch! I get the macaroni with crumbled bacon in it. So filling for a long flight. The beer selection is tremendous. They always give us 2 bags of BBQ wood chips to take with us when we bbq at home.     The parking is limited, but the place was packed. The scene is a little noisy and has a bar atmosphere, which is OK by me. The food is great. I went with four people and everyone enjoyed their meal. I recommend the roaster combos. They also have a wide beer selection. Service was as expected, about average. But hey, to be awesome they really have to go above and beyond and do something crazy like dive through fire hoops. Sorry I digress. The price point was good. About $20 for the roaster trio, which had plenty of food. I wanted the prime rib, but it was pricey. About $32 for a 1lb. The next less was only 8 oz, nothing in between which was disappointing because I didn't feel like dropping $32 for the 1lber and the other cut was not enough. They also run out of beers on tap and entree selections often which is a bummer. I might come back when I am back in town, but it is not going to be a staple.

    I live in Lakewood, WA and make a point of eating here every once in a while as the food is excellent - beer selection and beer quality are both excellent - and the liquor selection is also excellent. The service, however, is not. This shortcoming does not keep me away, however, as this is afterall Seattle and friendliness and warmth are not local attributes. Why should Sharp's waitstaff be immune from Seattle Freeze. Just as an aside I'm originally from Houston where the service is always better than the food and the food is to die for.

    Great place to go if you find yourself in the seatac area and are starving. Eclectic menu, large portions, fun bar vibe. I was pleasantly surprised to see how good the spring rolls were! Who comes to a BBQ place and orders spring rolls? They recommended them and I can see why! Melt in your mouth deliciousness with a perfect full bodied and well rounded sauce! Wings are our thing and they could use some work. Sauce was good, meat was fatty and sparse. BBQ plates are bountiful, BBQ sauce is hearty and very tasty. I wouldn't have minded getting some sauce to go! Large beer tap and large spirit selection. I was going to say this isn't a good choice for anyone wanting to watch calories but then I remembered their low-cal menu options! Of course, after seeing all of the tasty options, those healthier options weren't appealing at all....as usual ;)

    Applewood Smoked BBQ Pulled Meat Salad: Ooo, tasty and good! Subtle kick 'n heat with nice flavor. Not wow, but dang this is good stuff. Says it's "tumbled" table-side, but really it's layered reverse in a large mug thinymajig, then once it arrives, she flips it upside-down onto your plate and methodically brings it up (lettuce on bottom, toppings on top as a result). Original Vanilla Ice Cream Sundae: Not your simple, mundane vanilla sundae. I had mine with fresh raspberry syrup (not sure how "fresh") and presented nicely. One giant scoop was sitting on a mini deep-fried dough bowl with cinnamon (elephant ear petri dish?). And leaf garnish on top. Nice, cool, refreshing finish, if only a bit sweet. Very interesting and unique interior decor... and are those saucers covering the ceiling? Dinged for the somewhat slow service and food delivery.

    Underwhelming. Kinda sad... Hubs ordered a burger that was pretty good. I ordered a salad with their "famous" slow cooked pulled pork or --whatever. It came with a cute presentation of an upside down chilled mug of salad. I was all excited. But, the meat was stringy and overcooked like shoelaces. And for $15, I ate just the salad part. Not a great deal. We thought dessert would be better (brownie ala mode.) Two dry little brownie formations with random grocery store grade ice cream and almost no fudge sauce. This isn't a bad place for the area. It's got a cute feel and it might be a decent place for a fast lunch coming back or going to the airport. But, not nice enough for dinner or a vacation meal. It is what it is.

    Came here at 10:45pm after a 6 hour flight from Hawaii. To our surprise, they were not only open, but also serving food. Only the bar was open but there was plenty of seating despite a small crowd of people. I ordered the burger off the bar menu and it was very good. Probably the best burger I've ever had after 11PM! The wait staff was friendly and they had a special on 22 oz craft beers. Hearing about a "special on 22 0z craft beers" after a long day of traveling is probably similar to my 2 year old daughter discovering a "Mickey Mouse Fun House" marathon on the Disney Channel - just magical :)

    Walked in the guy seating us was sloshing drink all over the floor, sat us in the back.     Lively and popular place close to the airport and hotels at SeaTac. Good beers and drinks. Food is just okay so this place gets three stars. Service is fine and ambience is nice. Wouldn't come here for the food but for being with friends having drinks and hanging out. My BBQ 10 spice chicken was boring and dry. The smashed potatoes and coleslaw were good but typical. Nice that the Fairfield Inn provides free shuttle service back and forth to local restaurants so we could have a few drinks without driving.

Pretty weird, but it was close to our hotel so we weren't very choosy. I'd probably return if I had another overnight layover. Took my family to the Airport got there with alot of time on our hands to we thought we would go and talk about our long visit and all the fun we had .     Gone downhill! The first time I came here was a few years ago with some business associates. I thought the food was fresh and delicious and the portions was very huge! My experience this time around was bad... There was maybe one or two other tables that were taken. It was very quiet. The service was really slow for some reason.     Picked up a friend who had already had lunch and i hadn't. I tried the little house salad for $3.50. I ate every leaf! So good we went back for dinner as we were staying at the 2Tree Hotel across the street. First of all the cornbread that is served as you sit down by the hostess. Warm and crunchy and delish! I had the same salad and loved it again. I tried the prime rib dip. My bad that I am a French dip snob so my expectations were out of line as this was a prime rib sandwich. It was completely my fault but the server did comp the sandwich as I only tried a few bites. My point is, that even though I accepted full responsibility for my choice they made it right. I will try Sharps again because of this. My friend had the prime rib dinner medium rare and ate every bite. There are so many items on the menu that I want to try that the next time I do a Seatac run, I will arrive early, skip the cell phone lot and enjoy this little gem that is a home run in my book.

    I was hesitant to come here at first because it was a bbq place. I didn't know if I could find anything healthy to eat but they actually have quite a selection if you want to eat healthy. I ordered the Teriyaki turkey which was pretty tasty. I loved their sauce. My coworker's dish also had Chips, which I think were homemade and they were AWESOME!!!! I know I defeated the purpose of eating healthy by eating their chips, but it was worth it!!!! So good!! They put some type of seasoning on it that's both sweet and salty. I also get attitude from the manager that my food is cold and to remake it seems to be a challenge for them.     Once again we were looking for a place for a late lunch and just when we thought there was nothing I spotted the Ale House sign. MMM, the delightful smell of BBQ made me curious since I am from the South and we LOVE our BBQ. We were seated quickly in the Bar Area and our Server was spot on in recommending some local brews. We skipped the appetizers and ordered the Nachos and the Pulled Pork Sandwich. While waiting we noticed the very cool Beer pulls on the wall and I had my pic made with the Moose Drool Beer Mascot, I'm gonna try that next time I'm in town. Loved the Bar Area for seating--relaxing and fun. The food came and it was plated great. The Pulled Pork had the coleslaw on it..OMGosh! It's not how were Alabama Southerners eat our slaw & BBQ but I WILL from now on. DELICIOUS! The Nachos were just as tasty. The Big Spin Wheel with the Bar Specials is a nice attraction too. We will definitely put Sharp's on our Go To List.

    You almost want to come into this place for just the aroma: heavenly smokey, charred meat goodness permeates the air, yum! This is a pretty decent place to go if you're stuck out by the airport. It's probably not any more expensive than the restaurant attached to your hotel, but the food's a whole lot better. This is mainly a place for the carnivorous, so if you want vegetarian options, keep on driving. The do a really excellent job with pork here and I would stay towards that direction. The burger is massive and pretty rock solid, if not a little on the expensive side. They also have a drinking 'wheel of fortune' that they spin every half an hour or so that determines the next bar special- a personal pitcher of beer for $8.00, sounds good to me! Service is good, although at times it feels like they might be understaffed and they tend to get a little behind when a big rush comes in, but all in all, good enough.

    We stayed at a hotel next to the airport and didn't want to drive anywhere to eat so we were disappointed to see that no where near the airport got more than about a 3 1/2 star rating. We were able to easily walk to this restaurant (even in the rain) and we were very happy we did. I ordered the petite prime rib and it was so delicious that I wished I had ordered the full 16oz portion! This was the best Prime Rib I've had in 20 years! My mouth is watering just thinking about it right now. It was medium rare, nicely pink throughout, tender and melted in my mouth. It was served with fresh grated horse radish and au jus, and two or three sides of your choice. I wasn't overly impressed with any of the sides my husband and I tried, but the prime rib was so good and the staff so genuine and friendly I have to give them five stars. The restaurant has a comfortable and fun atmosphere, and I'm glad we didn't drive out in traffic looking for a four or five star restaurant, this place was great.

    This was a pleasant surprise. I was not expecting much since it did not come up on my initial Yelp search. We went in blind. We started with the bbq chips. They are great. They are freshly cooked chips covered in bbq seasoning. For my meal I chose the prime rib sandwhich. It had great flavor. The au jus was also great. I got the smashed red skins as my side. They were also pretty good. They have an interesting method for determining brief drink specials. They spin a giant wheel and that determines what the drink special is until the wheel is spun again.

    Of the choices in the immediate area of our hotel this turned out to be the best. However if you were to put this in the middle of downtown Seattle there are certainly far better choices. The smoked meats are the highlight of this restaurant. The free mesquite wood chips are a bit tacky and I assume an attempt at spreading the word to other potential tourists when one returns home. You can't go wrong with the pulled pork sandwich. My com-padres had the roast trio and it didn't taste so bad. Again, good food for it's location amongst hotels, near the airport and conference areas. But when it comes to flavor don't expect it to compare to BBQ in Kansas, North Carolina or Texas.

    Wow, I am so surprised to see these bad reviews. After a stay at the Doubletree I very much enjoyed Sharp's. The manager seemed like he hated his job and they shouldn't let him work the hostess station. Beyond that we had a great time getting beers at the bar then sitting down to a paper tablecloth and crayons. The service was excellent and the menu has a great selection with a lot of fun things.     Wow, I've never had such delicious spring rolls. They were so hot out of the fryer: wonderful fresh ginger served on the side with a great dipping sauce. They were flavorful and filling as an appetizer. Along with that, we had salmon and chips. Generous portion of three salmon fillets with great dipping sauce and good french fries. Our selection of beer was great and the bar atmosphere fun since the NCAA basketball finals were just over. It's a great oasis on a street filled with possibilities near the Sea-Tac airport. We had a great waiter who said he'd tried all the food and seemed well-informed about it. We loved playing the Trivial Pursuit cards that were on each table. And, the big bonus: fire ball candy! Wow, that was hot stuff. Reasonably priced and large dining room, but we sat in the bar and ate off the bar menu even though the restaurant's menu was also available. Really enjoyed a great ending to a wonderful visit to Seattle.

And the staff; Tom, Aylane, Rocky, and multiple others are always doing everything they can to make sure you have an excellent and fun time whenever you walk in!!!!!     I came here with an old friend, he actually recommended a couple of places, and we ended up with this one more out of convenience than anything else. Honestly, I was not very impressed, it was at best average food. I ordered the turkey. Thought it would be some type of BBQ style turkey, at least that's what the menu suggested. Not even close. I think the location is good, and the inside looks nice, but overall, I'd agree that this was a medicore dining experience. But at least the beer was ok.

    FOOD POISONING! I've been sick for the past two days!! God only knows what improper things they did handling our food or properly cooking on the roaster. GROSS. Came in on a Thursday night, didn't have enough servers to seat us even though half the restaurant had open tables. Told us it'd be 10 minute wait, so we went to the bar. The bartender didn't acknowledge us at all, ended up getting called to the table before he made eye contact. Service was ok after that, besides the server almost dropping my plate on me at the end of dinner.

    I was in town for a training and this is not far at all from the Raddison I stayed in. A local friend of mine took me to this place. We arrived around 9PM on a Sunday night. The menu was pretty limited. They had sandwiches and salads but not much else. I ordered the burger that the proprietor says "this is the best burger I have ever had" which is quoted on the menu. However, that review does not count because it is the proprietor of the restaurant....go figure. At any rate, the burger was very good. However, I did not notice on the menu that it came with some kind of watered down thousand island. I wish I had noticed because they put enough of that sauce on it to cover about 3 house salads which was quite ridiculous. After about 5 minutes (no exaggeration) of holding the burger over the plate and letting the sauce all drip out it was time to eat. The burger was huge and it was very tasty. Would have been much better without that sauce. The fries were ok and the portion of the fries was very small. However, the burger was so big that it was not a big deal. Oh, I almost forgot, they served up some cornbread before the meal that was flat like a pancake. They put some kind of sugary substance on there and it was very good. The service was fairly poor. It took our waiter 5-10 minutes anytime we asked him for a refill of a drink or anything else. Overall this place was not bad. I found it to be pricey and have a limited menu. But the food I ate tasted good, and the food I saw at other tables looked good. I would go back but not before trying out a few other places around the hotel. I hope this review helps someone.     Greeter was on the phone for a good spell, taking a very involved order apparently, so we were left standing to wait even though there were ample tables available for quick seating. We ordered the Cobb Salad and 1/2 chicken, roasted--with mashed potatoes and three bean soup. The food was pretty good, save for the cook's hair in the salad. That really dampened the mood. We didn't complain but noted it on their survey. The chicken was very good and the sun dried tomato butter atop the potatoes was a very nice touch. We would recommend this restaurant if you are not in any kind of hurry and finding non-edibles in your food doesn't make you squeamish.

    This place screamed hipster before people knew what that meant. However it didn't stop us. Going in we did know that Sharps is actually owned/partnered with Von's in Seattle so we knew it had to be good. First off the little plates are ideal for someone like me that wants to try everything I can but my stomach has limitations and the ideas of buffets make me lose my appetite. You can sample a good majority of the major menu items by the little plates. There is a great assortment of good food that is still in the comfort food wheel house. Also, a big plus is the NeoCuisine/Lo-Cal menu is genius! Great stuff without having to worry about needing to unbutton your pants afterward. Perfect if you are going with someone who is dieting and they will love you for this. I tried the little plates of the pull-meat BBQ salad, the smoked macaroni and cheese and the BBQ Slider. Don't let the idea of a meat salad fool you. It was delicious! Basically a chopped and layered salad. with a layer of romaine, corn, black beans, cheese, pulled meat and it's kind of BBQ/southwest ranch dressing. It was worth going back for and made me want to lick the plate. The smoked mac and cheese was ooey-gooey goodness. What more can you ask for or want in mac and cheese right? The only let down the slider. It was your average pulled pork, smothered in sauce and on a little toasted bun with a little coleslaw. It was good but nothing out of the ordinary or special. The significant other tried the Naked Chicken of the Neo-Cuisine menu and it definitely wasn't your typical tiny diet plate either. It featured about a quarter of a chicken (skinless) that she really liked and thought was tasty. On the sides was fresh broccoli and somekind of cooked apple thing. She thought the apples were a little weird and the broccoli was good but it would have been better if it was cut up (versus a small tree). The brews are pretty tasty and they give you some cornbread (with real corn in it) to snack on as the meal comes. There are some salads on the menu however not enough to give vegans or vegetarians enough probably. Prices are a little steep but they are kind of a trendy place so you should expect it. Service was good but was a little slow on getting our order and or checking on us after we were served. Definitely would go and will go back.

    My cousin and I stayed at a hotel near SeaTac. We walked around International Blvd and stumbled upon this place. My cousin ordered a Prime Rib sandwich with an IPA (I don't remember the actual name). I had the roasted chicken with veggies. My cousin fell in love with the Prime Rib sandwich. So I recommend getting it. Instead of getting after meal mints, they provide you with Red Fire Hot balls.

    Stopped in for lunch and had a very enjoyable time. First thing we were given (we had a table of four) was a serving of cornbread. I had no idea how good it was until I took a bite. Our host was nice enough to ask for another one so there would be two plates of it for us to all share. Fluffy and with a little honey drizzled on top; this is the first sign that there are good things waiting for you. I appreciated that they had a menu of healthier options. I originally looked at the Naked Chicken, but decided to get the BBQ Pulled Pork Salad. I intended to eat healthy, although this salad was far from it. I got the dressing on the side, which after having had a taste I decided it was quite tasty, but didn't need it with the wonderful flavor the BBQ pork provided. There were also these onion straws that added quite a bit of flavor, as well. I could have done without the black beans, but it wasn't a big deal. Our service was fantastic and we had no problem parking in their lot. This place is a stone's throw from the airport, so if you have a long layover, you could easily take a cab over and catch a meal. It's also located near International Boulevard and 188th Street, and across from the Doubletree Hotel.

    almost didn't go because of some of the reviews but there isn't much selection in walking distance from the hotel. Glad we went. The food was really good. I had the sliced sirloin of angus beef (very good), we also had a burger, tomato soup. On the kids menu - the teriyaki turkey with jasmine rice was great, came with sliced carrots and apples. A previous reviewer said it smelled like smoke - it does smell like bbq smoke (not cigarette smoke), but then it is a smokehouse/bbq.

    I've eaten here four times. Just another American restaurant. Nothing special. They have a giant roaster in the middle of the restaurant, where they roast chickens and ribs. It looked really good, so I got the half rack of ribs ($15) today. Again nothing special. The ribs was actually a little dry. It came with some corn bread and beans. In previous visits, I've ordered a roast beef sandwich and chicken quesadilla. It was o.k., nothing special. It's a tad bit over priced. But, I'd probably eat here again once in awhile.

    I went to find a decent place close to SEA. Got in a 10 (1 AM Eastern) and was starving. So...my taste buds were probably more impressionable than normal. That being said...the Bar-Q chicken was slow roasted, plentiful and tasty. They basically take there 4 herb chicken and pour Bar-Q sauce on top. The sides were unique. I had broccoli and coleslaw with blue cheese crumbles on top. Again, tasty, not spectacular. So, in summary, a decent food spot but a little overpriced. Thus, a 3 star rating.

    I've eaten here because it's a good repeatable restaurant very close to SEA. There's a good beer selection, and most of the roasted meat dishes are good for a hungry weary traveler. The ice cream floats are good as well. You have to keep the weight on while you're traveling! :) This place is owned by the same group as Von's Grand City Cafe' in downtown Seattle; the food and decor are very similar.

    Good beer choices and the mac and cheese is delicious. A quick 10 minute walk from the airport if you have downtime for a flight, and the staff was courteous. They let me charge my phone from the bar! They also have a wheel of fortune wheel they spin every 30minutes, get some good drink deals from it.

    We came in on a Saturday and they were apparently grossly understaffed. Not that busy but apparently very understaffed. Long and the short of it was that food was pretty solid, good beers to choose from, but service was really lacking. Luckily we weren't in a rush. Had the kansas city bbq sandwich, solid. They have a hot sauce on the table which is delish. Waitress was friendly, just slow. Really slow. I'd probably go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

    I've been at the bar on several occasions for happy hour and dinner. The salmon tacos, calamari, and skewered shrimp were average. The sirloin open faced sliders were amazing! The clam chowder was outstanding! The salmon would have been great without the sauce as it seemed to overpower the flavor of the fish. Service is always great and they have rotating bar specials every 30min based on a spin of the wheel. Brew selection is very good and liquor selection is outstanding (especially for an establishment of this price-point). This is all coupled with a great location for travelers as it's walking distance in the midst of the airport hotels.

    Stopped here for lunch during a conference down the road. Had a dark beer that wasn't the best and a really really good cheeseburger. The fries could have been good- they were hand cut but they weren't cooked enough. Tasted too much like raw potatoes. Besides, that the place looks cool with the drink wheel and the ribs smoking in the middle of the restaurant. I gotta give it 4 stars because of the meaty and juicy burger. Gotta come back for dinner sometime.

    This review is only for the bar. They have an amazing selection of very high end alcohol and twenty five taps of great beer. Our bartender, Horacio was amazing. Super busy and he was on the ball the whole time. If you are in the area you have to stop by. They have a decent beer selection and a great Tequila selection.

    We ate here two nights in a row! The food was really good, but the best part for us was how kid friendly it was. The kids are given a goody bag with a toy and animal crackers (and a bib). This keeps them happy until the food comes. They get milk in a plastic cup with a lid. The kids menu is one of the best I've seen - great prices plus good choices, not the usual mac n cheese and unhealthy crap most places have. The desserts are awesome too! Definitely worth going two nights in a row.

    I'm waiting for the light to change on International Avenue as I watch about 750 cars go by. The wind shifts and I'm enveloped in the heavenly smell of smoked meats. I shift my gaze and see Sharp's Roaster and Ale House. I am drawn to it by its warm, rich smoke. Greeted and seated quickly and amiably, I'm provided a platter of corn bread with a drizzle of maple honey. The order of ice tea was lost which gave me time to look at the menu and see that they have Moose Drool on tap! Well, this is looking very good! The high-energy, very sweet, waitress quickly brings me the beer and tea but waits a bit over 10 minutes to take my order. I decided on the Signature Appetizer salad and the Roaster Trio (smoked turkey, pork, and chicken.) I ask my waitress about the serving size and she cautioned me that since the main meal comes with broccoli, I probably won't need the salad. I agree, wondering if the portions are really that big, or if the salad really isn't that good. Do you believe in magic? No sooner had my waitress departed to my left, then she appeared on my right with my meal. It was under one of those metal warmer lids. What the heck, do they have a cart full of these in the back? I hesitantly tested varies parts of the meal. The hot stuff was hot, the cold stuff was cold. I charged on. It took some close observation to tell the difference between the turkey and the pork. The chicken was easier, it was a breast with skin and wing. Now to taste it! Hmmm... Not bad, not great, it is a Yelp 3 star. A-OK. The meat had a light smoked taste, the broccoli was cooked well, not mushy or washed out, and the red potatoes were smashed with a bit of (unmelted) butter on them. There was a sprinkling of French onions which had an odd flavor and were the consistency of cardboard. The waitress was excellent. My water and iced tea never reached below the halfway mark. The high point of the meal? The cold, delicious Moose Drool.

    Two stars based on one meal. Not fair, but that's how it works... As Austin H. said, "Salad in a cup!" Way too kitchy. They bring out this big beer stein that looks like it has a five layer dip in it, they turn it over on a plate, and your salad plops out onto it. Then the waiter artfully smooshes it around with the beer mug until it looks like a salad. Aside from presentation, my major problem was that the two salads we got - a pulled meat salad (?), and a Santa Fe Cobb salad (the classic with a twist!) were identical, but for the fact that one had pulled meat, and the other had a small taco thrown up on it. Cobb salad shouldn't be messed with. One expects some baseline things to be there, and this salad had none of them. (And imho no entree salad like this should be without bacon - especially a 'cobb' branded salad.) Great credit to our server, however. My companion asked if he might get a cup of the soup with his dinner, and Rocky said it's the worst soup he'd ever had. "I'll gladly sell you something else on the menu, but the soup is embarrassing." I'm so used to hearing, "oh, god, everything on this menu is great!" If I'm pinched for time I might go here again, but I'm steering clear of the $14 salads.

    Absolutely horrible!!!! Was visiting Seattle with family and we heard that this place was pretty good. Now maybe coming from NYC my standards for a restaurant are a little high but I never expected such a horrible experience. Two of us ordered the prime rib which was fatty and bland, one ordered the open face turkey which was also nothing to write home about. The final order was the pulled pork sandwich. When my brother bit into his sandwich he bit into a huge bone which was about an inch in size. When we asked to speak to the manager whose name was Tom, the first thing out of his mouth was , "well that's how we make our pulled pork" With bones???!!!!! Last time I checked it was PULLED OFF THE BONE!!!!!! A halfhearted secondary apology was given only after I questioned his ability on being a manager and handling situations correctly. The only pleasant part of the night was the waiter Hugo whose first reaction was to apologize and try to remedy the situation for us. Bottom line, I would not recommend this place unless you want sub par food that could potentially kill you. On another note, maybe Hugo should replace Tom as the manager!

    Salad in a cup! Say it again, kids...Salad in a cup! The only notable thing about this joint is the fact that they put a few of their salads together in a huge, handled beer mug and then serve it on your plate in one swift motion. Plop. The food is ok, but nothing to rave about. The meat in my salad was well seasoned, but everything everyone else had looked boring. If you're ever in need of a place to eat near the airport, this place will do. But don't waste your time otherwise.

    We have been coming here off and on for about ten years and love it. The beer is cold and there are lots of choices. The food is a great match for the types of beer if you like paring what goes with what. Lots of travelers flying through so it is comfortable.     This place is half sports bar and half family restaurant. Both halves have atmospheres suitable for their target audiences but together make for a slightly odd juxtaposition. The beer selection is great and the large size beer options are a particularly good value for money. The pancake-like cornbread that comes free to the table is truly delectable, especially with their melted maple butter. As a main course I ordered the Kansas City Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich which was pretty tasty, especially with a little of their house hot sauce. The fries were exceptional and probably the best part of the meal especially with a side of their house spicy bbq sauce, which frankly wasn't nearly as spicy as advertised but delicious nevertheless. Overall the food was good, not amazing, but definitely worth another trip if and when the mood strikes. The only real strike against this place was the service. The waitress continually forgot parts of our orders and so it took much longer to get our entire meal than it should have.

    My favorite field layover because Roasters is here and the Doubletree hotel is a nice place to rest your weary head for several hours. I think of the chicken wings all through decent and approach. Which beer will I have today? There are more than 20 beers on tap to choose from, not to mention the bottled beer. But why would ANYONE drink beer out of a bottle if you can have something on tap? You can choose from any one of three sizes of beer on tap too! Salads are great. I really like the oriental salad. The ribs-chicken-and BBQ stuff is good, but I prefer the wings. Prices are reasonable, and the service is great. Just be careful crossing the street to get back to the doubletree!

Server takes order, brings beer, & disappears. Someone else brought food, after 2 tries. No one checked back & no one ever offered the highly touted cornbread. Food is OK but nothing you can't get at a million other places. Small dish of Mac & Cheese, ordered separately, probably the tastiest thing. Finally, ready to leave and cannot get the check without getting up from the table and walking back to the hostess stand. Now here comes my server! Hostess ignored me and nobody apologized for anything. Don't bother with this place.

    This place is situated very close to the Airport entrance. It is also conveniently located across the street from the DoubleTree Hotel. So when I had a stopover in Seattle and stayed at the DoubleTree I walked across the street for a quick meal. I noticed that their specialties are Ales and roasted meats. I don't drink beer, but I can see that if you want it they have it. The cieling is covered by labels from many different beers. The menu had quite a few appetizing and delicious looking salads like Cobb or Caesar and all of them could contain some meat too, like smoked turkey, chicken or "pulled " meats. But we didn't order salad, we ordered the half rack of St Louis style baby back ribs and a cup of "triple meat" soup. Everything was qute good. The ribs came with cornbread and beans and cole slaw. The service was good, the ambience is slightly festive with comical decorations around. I would recommend, and keep in mind it's possible to spend 10-21 dollars per person but not less than that. I would recommend if you're near the airport but not to drive special to come here.

    I've been going to Sharp's for years....many years. It has always been one of my favorites, one of my standbys, when staying at nearby hotels. Great good, good service, and just a nice place to spend the evening. But, honestly, the last several years its been headed in the wrong direction. And the other night, the three of us agreed..."this is an overpriced dinner for mediocre food." The menu does not list any descriptions of the food -- so the wait person (Candace) had to verbally detail each food item....really time consuming and irritating. My Vegetable Platter (which I've had repeatedly for years), was terrible. I will never have it again...which is disappointing because it used to be a favorite. They have gone to a "Bean Loaf" instead of just regular old spicy beans. Why? No idea. And the Chocolate "Cake" was not cake at all...it was a flourless sort of heavy chocolate dessert. I was disappointed.     I love this place. It has been a couple of years since I had ventured this far south for an extended period of time, but I was playing taxi driver to visitors from the UK and their hotel just happened to be in the neighborhood, so I figured 'why not give it a try again.' Definitely worth the time. The food was amazing, which is saying something since we had just disembarked from a cruise. I had the soup and half a sandwich and there must have been a pound of meat on my sandwich. The ribs were amazing as the meat fell off the bone, as it should. The cornbread was out of this world and helped me to convince my friend from the UK that cornbread is worth trying. Definitely will stop by again the next time I am in the neighborhood.

    Sharps is within spitting distance of the Sea Tac Airport. The slow roasted chicken here is amazing as is the Signature salad. It has an upscale atmosphere, great service and best of all it's cheap. I think it's worth a drive to the airport even if you aren't flying anywhere.

    Ugh...where to start? First of all, any establishment that serves a thick brown gravy on their prime rib has something to hide. This place does just that. Don't come here if unless you want everything on your plate to be drowned in a horrible, store-bought-tasting barbecue sauce. Even things on the menu that don't claim to be BBQ will arrive drowned in said sauce. They do at least bring you a "barbecue kit" that contains a bib, plastic gloves, and a wet wipe, which they wouldn't need to if everything wasn't swimming in sauce. One nice touch is that the host or hostess brings a large fresh-baked cornbread biscuit maple syrup right to your table as they seat you, so you have something to eat straightaway. There are also small paper bags filled with smoke wood and a recipe for "two-day smoked chicken" at each table, which are complimentary. This is a small detail, but parking here is tricky. Not only is the lot too small for its location (right by SeaTac airport and a hotel), the parking spaces themselves are far too small. We ended up here twice during our vacation, and it was consistently poor on both occasions.

    I WOULD give this place 5 stars in the past... But they WAY over charge for hot wings! Late night happy hour used to be 50 cents a wing / taco / slider but they took that away like greedy wing nazis. I mean, comon! Hot wings are the #1 American happy hour food and they aren't even on the new happy hour menu. Pat the bar tender is amazing and I really miss him because my friends, family, co workers, acquaintances, face book friends, youtube followers, fellow yelp reviewers, WING LOVERS EVERYWHERE, and myself are ALL boycotting this place until you BRING the wings BACK or put them on happy hour. I will take my business to one of the many establishments in the area until they bring back the wings. I used to hang out and spend over $100 on drinks and enjoy my wings.... Not any more..

    Decent local beer selection on draft, but I felt the menu in general was WAY overpriced and the food was just ok. Waitress also seemed very anxious to get out order in which we didn't appreciate. While I didn't care for it, the table consensus was yum on the cornbread starter. As for the meal, I had the open faced turkey sandwich. It was good, but didn't feel it was at all worth the $18 price tag. I thought BBQ sauce on an open faced turkey and gravy sandwich was an odd combination that didn't do anything for me except make me wonder who wanted to put BBQ sauce on open faced turkey and gravy sandwich?! My wife had the salmon tacos which she said were ok, but the salmon did not taste fresh. She also ordered the clam chowder. I say ordered because she didn't eat it; "terrible" she said. Mom ordered the BBQ beef sliders and a Caesar salad which she said were both very good so I guess that was the bright spot of the night. Not a ton of options around Sea Tac to eat, but I would recommend elsewhere.

    Had a short visit to Seattle and decided to walk over from the hotel and give this place a try. It was hands down the best meal we had during our trip! I had a couple beers and washed them down with some fried pickles and the sampler platter. It was so good (including the food) ! I would recommend to anyone, especially if you're staying at one of the nearby hotels.

    We found ourselves in the SeaTac area running a little ahead of schedule for our afternoon flight. Since this place was right across from the airport parking company we were planning on using, we decided to stop in for a quick lunch. The place was quite empty, but I chalked this up to this being more of a place to have dinner. Everything was done up really nice like a fancy barbecue joint. When we walked in, we immediately noticed the meats roasting in the rotisserie and thought we'd be in for a treat. I ended up ordering the Kansas City, which came with fries. The fries were very, very yummy. I couldn't stop eating them! The sandwich itself was a little disappointing. I'm not a terribly big fan of coleslaw to begin with, but they really heaped it on. I could taste that much more than the meat itself, which should have been the star of the sandwich. I should have ordered it on the side, but hindsight is 20/20, I suppose. What meat I could taste, though, was great. It was extremely tender, and the sauce was just the right balance of sweet, tart, and heat. Overall, the lunch was decent--not fantastic--and the prices were a bit on the high side. That said, if you happen to be in the area with time to kill before a flight, this place is definitely better than some of the other restaurants in the area!

    Excellent place to stop if your in the area. My wife ordered the Classic Prime Rib Sandwich and i the Grand City Combo. The Grand CIty consisted of amazing smoked baby back ribs, bbq chicken, pork loin, and a pulled pork slider. Each was better than the last. It was more than I could put away in one sitting, although my mind wanted me to keep eating. Although my wife is not a huge dark beer fan, she stole my Flyer's Porter which was an excellent beer to go with the Classic prime Rib Sandwich. Great place with excellent service. To all my fellow military stuck at the Double Tree, swing by if you get the chance.

    After the worst day ever (a 20 hour delay on our 10 year anniversary trip to maui and 10 hours of nasty airport food), I don't think I've ever been more pleased with a meal! We had the mac and cheese, potato beniets (sp)- which they said no one ever orders and they were so good!-, the prime rib sandwich and corn bread and slaw. So good! And the service was awesome....and they have a massive beer selection and their house tequilla is so smooth! I can't say enough! Thanks for making a pretty crappy day end a little better!

    Great place for dinner and brews. 26 brews on tap. I had an open-faced turkey sandwich with cheese... Delicious. My wife had the Salmon, which was quite good (and you know we know Salmon in the Pacific Northwest). A friend had the burger which looked delicious I washed it all down with a Hale's Superpgoose; one of the best double IPAs I know of. And you gotta check out the Men's room; covered with framed 8 x 10 Gary Larson Far Side cartoons (sorry ladies).

    Thank you Sharps Roasthouse for saving my birthday! I was visiting Seattle and the plan was to have a birthday dinner out with a good friend - but her babysitter flaked so that plan was dashed. I asked at the front desk of the hotel where they would recommend for a birthday dinner & they suggested Sharps Roasthouse (and provided me with shuttle transportation to and from the restaurant). I had a pulled chicken salad and it was delicious. But my surprise of the night came when your staff presented me with a birthday desert that I swear had a firework where the candle would normally be! It was crazy - but in a good way. I hadn't even told any of the staff that it was my birthday but they must have overheard my husband wishing me a "happy birthday".

    Ordered the low cal bbq chicken to go. It came with roasted veggies.... Not. It came with uncooked carrots. The chicken breast that they charge you $15 for is about 4oz of actual meat. There's some rice that was in the box as well, I wasn't expecting the rice because it was not on the menu. Well thank you for the rice, was this to make up for uncooked carrots? This meal is more like $3 than $15. Stay away. Only reason it's 2 stars is because the bbq sauce is somewhat tasty.

    For a restaurant so close to the airport, it was pretty good. The food was pretty great. I opted to have the sliced angus steak, which was cooked a little too well, but had great flavor and was very tender. They have two sizes 8oz and 5. I opted for the 5 and was glad I did. For sides, I paid extra for homemade mac and cheese, which was pricey, $5, but worth it in my opinion. Great tasting Mac and cheese. I also had French fries, which were just like any restaurant or fast food fries, but I'd order them again. You HAVE to try the cornbread. Fresh baked, and delicious. Probably my favorite part of the meal. The service wasn't super great. I sat in the bar that is full service, and while the waitress was attentive, she felt a bit fake and seemed irritated when I wouldn't upsize my beer order, and told her I was just having one with dinner. She wasn't in a very good mood and seemed like she didn't really want me there. I'd probably eat here again, but next time will probably eat in the dining room, far away from the waitress I had this time.

    Really, really good for a chain concept. Excellent food! Spicy things are actually spicy. Portions offer good value. Service, especially at the bar, is excellent (and keeps you away from screaming Chucky Cheese refugees). The menu is extensive and BBQ-centric, but there's something for everyone. The feel is up-beat; smokey, meaty, BBQ smells pervade, there's hysterical pop music playing, like American Idol gone wild. Trivia cards on every table. They run hourly drink specials determined by means of a roulette-style wheel of alcoholic fortune on the bar wall. Kinda fun! Check them out before they cheapen up and turn into TGI Fridays or Appleby's.

    A super convenient place to get food on the way to the airport. The service is really fast and the waiter was very friendly and accommodating. I had 2 pulled pork tacos and 2 salmon tacos. They were just okay. Lacking in flavor and both had this cole slaw on them that I just didn't care for. Wine selection was good and just what I needed to get on my flight. Not sure if I'd come here again, but it met my need.

    This place was great! My husband and I stopped in right about late happy hour time and enjoyed sampling the sliders, street tacos, and side salad. My husband also ordered their bacon cheeseburgers something or other that was really delicious as well! I love the moose head on the wall and took a picture to share with several of my old college drinking buddies that favored Moose Drool in the day. The wheel for drink specials was a fun touch and I am thankful for being able to discover Seattle Cider. I look forward to returning!

    We just got back to our hotel room after a terrific meal at Sharps Roasthouse. We had the large serving of baby back ribs with carrots and onions and the smashed redskinned potatoes. We also shared a large personal pitcher of beer. The ribs were good, the carrots and the potatoes were well above average. It was a very good meal overall. However, our waiter Evan F was outstanding. He went above and beyond to serve our table with style and enthusiasm. Sharps is lucky to have an employee as good as him! The restaurant is undergoing renovation, so it's kind of hard to rate the overall building and ambience. But, even during the construction phase it was a pleasant place to be. On a sidenote, the free brownie we got for checking in on yelp was absolutely wonderful! See our picture. Way way more than we expected! Do not under any circumstances miss out on the brownie! If I lived here in Seattle this restaurant would, without a doubt, be a regular stop for me.

    Best happy hour I have ever been to. The food is very tasty and cheap. The $8 brisket was a hit every time we went. Enough food for two people! The potato beignets are a must try. Also, don't forget to REQUEST the complimentary delicious corn bread (you have to ASK for it, they won't offer!). Also AMAZING selection of beers on tap. We were there about 5 times last month, and really enjoyed having Rocky and Horacio as waiters. Very friendly and they took great care of us. We didn't particularly like the fish tacos when we ordered them, but to each their own! Spicy-hot fans will LOVE their hot sauce. There's a reason this place is well known among native Washingtonians. Especially if you are staying on INTL blvd, this is the best place to go.

    I have to say I am thoroughly impressed every time I walk in the door, hands down some of the best service around. 5 stars is an understatement. I am immidiately greeted when walking in the door and helped to any direction of my chosing. While the bar seating and restaurant seating are both popular alike there is somehow always a nice place to sit. The restaurant area is family friendly, business friendly and anything friendly honestly. It's clean and easily navigated, very well put together to makes seating not seem cramped at all for a medium sized building. The bar area is fun and vibrant with plenty to look at and keep you interested and occupied. From bar taps all over the wall to propellers on the ceiling - its just plain fun! There is an awesome view of the food roasting near by and everything looks fresh and delicious. The happy hour is phenomenal; everything is dirt cheap and very high quality and thrilling for taste. I highly recommend the taco plate appetizer! The waiters/waitresses are unbelievably attentive, but no too much so that you feel interrupted. When they walk up to offer additional service they seem so well timed it's like they read your mind. Food here is very very good. The dishes are all somehow jam-packed with flavor and lead to very little guilt in the process (besides the honey-soaked corn bread that you get fresh automatically of course). Healthy and heavy options are all delicious and filling, not to mention well worth your dime. Not that you'll be spending much any way. This restaurant has a clean and fun environment with friendly faces and home-town locally owned feeling all over. So whether you are just in town looking for a place to eat near the airport, looking for a new place to meet your coworkers after work or simply searching for a new place to take the family... you'll definitely find it at Sharp's Roadhouse!

    So Sharps is a cool place to be sure, with surprisingly good food considering it could probably get away with living off tourists and not actually executing the food that well. The wings get most of the love and it's well justified; it was a pleasant surprise to receive that much flavor from wings and still be able to taste juicy meat. I was definitely a fan. Service was fine; had to pry a little to get the info but our guy was mostly there when needed. What I can't get past is the advertising for happy hour deals and discounts all over the restaurant, nowhere mentioning that said discounts only apply in the bar area. It's becoming a pet peeve of mine, this whole "advertised discount applies entirely based on the location of your butt." I understand the rationale on some level, but if the place is essentially empty anyway (as it was during our visit), it's not like we're tying up a table you could use for higher margin customers in the main dining room. It's a silly rule, but if you do insist on it, at least include it on the advertising. I even checked the signs before I sat down, and then had to feel like a cheapskate* for having to get up and proceed to the correct area for my happy hour deal. Considering how close the two sections are, I think I saved something like $1.50 per step walking to the right area. Anyway, 4.5 star food, 3.5 star service, and an irritating policy. Now you know. * In their defense, I mainly felt that way because I am a cheapskate.

    Service was good! Food was just "okay." They no longer offer a GF menu and I was told the one on their website was "very old." The waiter gave me 2 options to choose from and highly recommended a salad.     We went to Sharps after walking out of Gregory's down the block. It was like night and day. The place was clean and we were met and seated with a friendly smile. It had an incredible selection of craft beer on tap - and a pretty cool happy hour if you were willing to sit at the bar. but ... I was with the Mrs. so I sat down for dinner instead and behaved. The menu was had a huge selection of BBQ items - this is a meat eaters paradise. Our server was friendly and prompt. She knew the menu and was helpful in selecting both entrée and libation. The manager came over towards the end of dinner - just to check up and see how we were enjoying things, and came back with another helping of cornbread. If you are in the area you should check this place out.

    Update: don't know what happened here, but some things (cornbread, service) have gone downhill. We went out of our way, based on our last couple of experiences, to find a hotel near this restaurant for a quick pop into (and out of) SEA. We got in late, and many seats available. Guy at the front desk was explaining to a co-worker that he wasn't 18 yet, so couldn't work at the bar, even though his ambition was to be a bartender. Used to be that you would get one of those awesome cornbread plates as you walked to you table; this time? Cornbread, but ... it was different. It was in a pan, it did NOT have the same graininess or corn kernels as before, no greasy, buttery, smokey, black-speckled taste, just meh. I asked if the recipe had changed, and at first the waitress said no, but when I asked specifically about the corn kernels, she said, "oh, yes, that changed a while back." Indeed, the cornbread could have come from a 49-cent box; nothing special. No smokey taste, no grittiness and bite, no real reason to tout it. In fact, if I hadn't known about the specialness before, I probably wouldn't even have noticed it -- or mentioned it in a review. And did you catch the part about the waitress? Wasn't the only time she changed her story. Better half ordered the rotisserie chicken, which on our last couple of visits had been awesome. This time, the first thing that jumped out at us was ... no skin. Now I know it's not healthy, but it really is the star for taste. So after waiting quite a while to get our server's attention, we asked, and were told by our "helpful" waitress that this was the last chicken in the house and it couldn't be changed. Remember that this is a place that prints on its menus that they empower all servers to handle all problems right away. Um, no. Slow, more interested in the next table of business travelers (not sure why). Not particularly friendly. Looking into the distance as we said something, and missing what we said. Not what we expected, and not what it should have been. Now for the good news, the manager came over, explained that they were changing over the chickens in their proprietary roasting rotisserie mechanism (the one you walk by as you come in the front door toward your table), and there would, in fact, be more chickens. And she delivered a luscious, crackly-crispy-skinned one right away. We've had managers who saved the day before, and this one was up there at the top. Warm, empathetic, positive, and quick. And the beans? As good as ever. Even if you're not a veggie, this bean stew is a great side dish, probably not tried enough just because it's .... well, bean stew. Don't be a party-pooper (oops, probly need a better word choice here); Try the bean stew for at least one person at your table. So overall, not a bad visit. But, unfortunately, we were expecting the really good one we'd had twice before. And didn't get it.

    Thanks to Gorman E. for such a well written and informative review! Sharps is my go-to spot when I need to kill some time before heading back to SJC. When in doubt, the sloppy joe sliders or buttermilk chicken fingers off of the appetizer menu make a nice little meal. You can score them for 50% off during the 4-6PM happy hour! Those hand cut fries are amazing! I'm an IPA girl, so I keep it simple with my drink order. The Lucille is my usual. The red hot candies in the mason jars at each table totally kill my onion and beer breath before flying, and are very much appreciated! Tip- BBQ enthusiasts will appreciate the free wood chip bags, and roasted chicken recipe. They are located to the left of the hostess desk before you hit the restrooms.

    I was pleasantly surprised when my friends and I came here after the Seahawks Super Bowl send off at the airport. We really just wanted a place nearby to celebrate and avoid the traffic heading out of the area. Though we didn't eat much, we did have two orders of the chili wings (their version of hot wings) and those were pretty tasty; more sweet than spicy, but they also provide a spicy sauce to dip your wings if heat is your thing. They squeeze their own orange juice, so the mimosas and screwdrivers were quite good. I'm not sure if they do it all day long, but while we were there, they also spun a wheel every 30 minutes to offer patrons discounted prices on various drinks. If you ask nicely, they'll even let you spin the wheel. Most impressive, was their customer service. Our server was extremely friendly and we had a great time. **Next time, I might have to try some of their BBQ -- they had racks and a rotisserie going in full force inside the restaurant, preparing for the next day's service.

    We were so happy to see this place open at 10pm, and with happy hour until midnight, too! The servers were fast and friendly, and the beer list was quite good (for me, who favors local chewy craft brews). I was travel-weary and caved in to order comfort food in the form of Grandma's chicken fingers- and was let down. The fingers were overcooked and dry and the fries soggy and undercooked. The nachos were fine but nothing remarkable. It was a good scene, and I suspect we will go back again, but order smoked meats instead.

    Sharps Roast house... I use to come here when it was called Roasters. Not alot has changed really. The menu is nearly identical and they have some great beers available. In the last month and a half I've had 2 completely different experience. Both I would rate 3 stars hence the score I have put. 1st visit. My wife and I came in on a busy Friday night. We were seated in the general restaurant. Hot cornbread was brought to the table the moment we sat down. Service was excellent from start to finish. We had a kind waitress who was both pleasant and attentive. My wife ordered a prime rib sandwich and I had the braised Lamb shank that is available in limited quantities after 4 P.M. It was by far the worst thing I've ever ordered at any restaurant. I love lamb, I order it often and this was inedible. I have never in my life sent a dish back. Not once and honestly I wouldn't have done that here except that kind waitress I mentioned earlier noticed I hadn't touched the thing and took it back for me. She even removed it from the bill, something I would have never asked for she just did it on her own. My wife hated her sandwich but would not complain to the kind waitress who had already dealt with my meal so we both picked at it until the bill came and called it a night. Overall great service, horrible food. 2nd Visit. My wife and I came here on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. It was dead. The main restaurant was closed off so we sat in the bar. She ordered an open face Turkey Sandwich and I had a Teriyaki Turkey plate. The food came quick enough, and was delicious. Unfortunately we were being served by a lady so upset about her life choices she was determined to take it out on whoever she had to serve that day. I tried as hard as possible to be extra nice since I find sometimes that helps a server lose the attitude. It wasn't working. She hates her life and wants everyone to know it. There were 3 tables in the bar with people eating and she had this overworked attitude the entire time. Maybe it was because there were two women coworkers standing around chatting the entire meal. Maybe she simply hates her coworkers I don't know, I'm just guessing try to explain what can only be described as horrendous service. The only good part about the whole situation is this time the food was fantastic. I cleaned my plate and my wife ate as much as she could as the open face sandwich is huge. Overall great food, horrible service. I guess I could have summed up my whole review as simply hit or miss. I tend to believe from other reviews the food is a lot better then we were served the first time and people have bad days which could explain the bad service. Just go in knowing the lamb shank isn't good compared to the other dishes they serve.

    Local folks have been telling about this place for years, but I've always put it off because of the location and exterior. Luckily I broke down and gave it a try a month ago. The food and service are wonderful. I've had the salmon and lamb shank, twice, and they are great. Service is A+ and they use a teamwork system that works. I used to work in a resturant and eat out a lot, since I travel for work, and Sharp's gives you a a lot of bang for the buck.

    Karina, my Waitress was great! Not that shes a great waitress but so good lookin I ordered anything she suggested! Not really. She is a fantastic waitress . Came in for HH. A couple beers, something light to eat. She had me drinking more than I planned, eating more than I planned, and staying longer than I planned. But had a great time.     We are not from the area so decided to yelp somewhere near the airport since our hotel wasn't too for away. We got there at about 730pm. When we walked in we were greeted by nice hosts. Waited about 15 min for a booth table. When we got to the table we were given complimentary maple drizzled corn bread. The corn bread was so good. We couldn't stop eating it! Our waitress came with ester and took out drink order. A bit later she came back and took out food orders. I ordered the split roasted half chicken along with the buttered jasmine rice and broccoli topped with some kind of sauce. My chicken was so moist. Fall of the bone most. It was on the bit of the salty side for my taste but it was still good. The butter jasmine rice wasn't my cup of tea there was an after taste to it. BUT THE BROCCOLI was sooooo delicious. I could've eaten a whole bowl of the broccoli with their sauce! My boyfriend ordered the prime rib with butter jasmine rice and smashed red potatoes. Prime rib was cooked to perfection. Pink with no blood, exactly how he likes it. Flavor was delicious. He did however enjoy the buttered rice. The smashed red potatoes were also very good. The food was overall pretty good. A little bit pricey. About $80 for 2 people with no alcoholic beverages and also including tip.

    Went here with coworkers for a quick dinner. Even though it was a busy night, we were seated within 5min. The warm cornbread for the table was very good, especially with the maple butter drizzled over it. I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich, which I really enjoyed. My co-workers ordered the ribs, which one person said they weren't a fan of the bbq sauce. We also had the roasted Mac n cheese, which was tasty! We also ordered dessert....the Ice Cream Sundae was really delicious!

    I'd give them 2.5 stars if it was an option. The food is expensive for what you get. Small portions and not great taste. I got the prime rib (what they're known for) and Mac n cheese. Everything had an up charge. Another negative... The positive is they service was great and the beer list and atmosphere was really good. I'd give them another shot but only during their happy hour 4-6 otherwise I'm sure I'd overpay for my meal.

    Conveniently located close to the airport hotels. Good food and very reasonably priced. The selections on the menu is sure to please any taste buds. Happy Hour pricing on the menu from 4-6 pm daily on certain items. Service was also very fast and great. Everything on the menu is excellent. I recommend the pulled pork sandwich and Mac & cheese. Will return over and over again.

    This place is really good. They only reason I didn't give them five stars is because I'd like to see more barbecue plates offered at a barbecue restaurant. I ordered my pulled pork without the bun, but was surprised this wasn't already an option. They only offer three pulled pork barbecue plates, all as sandwiches. That said, the Kansas City was really good. I did the mild and that was still pretty zingy. The slaw is awesome! And remember to check in on Yelp for your free dessert! Our waiter was great. We had six of us and he was really on the ball! Great place for workers to meet up or to take the family!

    You really can't do better at SEATAC Eating in the bar has been a good experience with pleasant and attentive service even during their very busy times. The BBQ and salmon are the best items on the menu. Be warned that the BBQ sauce available at the table is very hot and should be used with care! There is a great selection of beers and spirits.

    Stopped here on an early Saturday afternoon. Place was quiet but service was quick and the server/bartender was friendly. I had the turkey sandwich and my husband had the ribs. Both were delicious and the portions were generous. They have this big roulette style wheel that they spin every half hour and that's the drink special.     Amazing happy hours! 12:00 AM to closing you get $1 mini sliders, which is awesome. It's in walking distance of the Radisson, so if you're staying there it's a perfect spot to get something to eat.

    On this tacky strip of faded hotles and SeaTac riff raff is this suprizing nice place with delciious items including a crafty clever nacho dish and chciken sliders that were excellent. The atomsphere is also quite pleasing - pub style and i heard raves over the fish and chips. Nice slection of brews and cocktails too.

    I stayed in the Seattle Airport for the first night before my road trip, arrived rather late and out of all the places that is open nearby, this is the one appealed to us. There is a bar and there is a restaurant. On the night, one of the serving staff left and there was only one serving staff working in the restaurant, and was told if we go and eat at the bar, it will be much quicker. There we go, actually the bar atmosphere is rather good, and not that noisy. I noted that the place has a low cal section and I ordered a Low Calorie Chicken with a Fuji Apple Salad. It was disappointing of what people call salad, I had about 3 slices of soggy apply in something brown. I think it might have been their Balsamic Apple in a cheaper menu option. Black Angus Radiant Roast 10 hours Prime Rib (no bone) there is an 8 oz option at $22, which was actually very nice. Service was friendly and good, but that apple salad need to be corrected.

    Came here for my husband's work Christmas dinner. It's a casual place that's really close to the airport. Before your entree arrives they serve this amazing cornbread that has this sweet glaze on top. YUM. I ordered the Sliced Sirloin Angus Beef paired with their mashed potatoes and broccoli (you were able to choose two sides). The meat was tender and delicious. Husband ordered the Roasted Wild Salmon. He liked it but wish the serving size was bigger. It was a very busy night and parking was tight for a Thursday evening. Customer service was great. I would have rated 4 stars but the prices seems inflated in my opinion.

    Really great in a lot of ways. Happy Hour is 4-6 daily which includes great discounts on a lot of food and a drink special determined by a spinning wheel. Cool atmosphere with good soundtrack. Great drink selection. Food was amazing, especially the BBQ Southwest Sauce with the fries. Loses a star because it took them about 7 minutes to even acknowledge I was there despite being seated by a host and being right next to the bar and where the waiters hang out.

    What a surprise to stumble on a restaurant serving delicious food next to an airport hotel. The Kansas City pulled pork sandwich was exceptional. I had the half rotisserie chicken which was perfectly cooked and good but I wasn't crazy about the herb seasoning. It was really a personal taste thing but made me wish I had ordered the cheeseburger or ribs which I heard are fantastic and looked great. Their beer selection is impressive and I like that they have a small "scooner" size option - I think 5oz - which is a great way to taste a few local favorites.

    Recommended by the hotel; not recommended by me. I ordered the salmon for $23. It was a 4" x 4 slab of dry salmon with no taste. My son got five thin slices of sirloin for $17. It was no better than any buffet. If I had spent $20 to $25 for these two meals, I would feel ok about it but at $50, it was a rip-off. It is at the airport so they know they will always have new diners so they don't have to worry about repeat business.

    This was my 3rd visit to Sharps Roaster--the first was for lunch and the next two were for dinner. While I was impressed by my previous two visits, I was disappointed on my third. My party of 3 arrived on a Friday evening expecting a packed house; surprisingly it was only about 3/5 full. There were two parties ahead of us in the lobby and the hostess seemed very confused about seating any of us. We were finally seated and it took what I feel an extended amount of time to be approached by our waitress. After ordering it took a long time for the drinks and then the food to arrive as well. (They did not appear to be busy and the service during my previous two visits was much faster and there were bigger crowds then.) Between the 3 of us we ordered ribs and a turkey open-face sandwich. While I was impressed by the burger, chicken and tri-tip on my previous visits, I did not enjoy their pork ribs. The meat was tender, but it was also dry and over seasoned. I also ordered a 2nd beer and it took so long that I had to remind our server that I was still waiting for it. During the meal, our server never came to ask how our meal was. I don't want to seem picky, and I know that restaurants have "off moments", but with the small Friday night crowd and the difference in service and food this time I wonder if the place has had a change in their management...at least one not for the better. It is close to the airport and it does stay open late which are both pluses. I WILL try it again on my next visit and give Sharps Roaster another shot, but keeping in mind that the Seattle area is a food-rich area with so many other choices.

    Very pricey $27 for the Grand City combo platter which was 2 ribs small chicken leg and thigh and a couple slices of pork. it also came with a sausage that was pretty spicy and against my better judgment I ate it and was up all night. The ribs were dry, was expecting way better ribs at a place like this, the chicken was very tasty as was the pork. It didnt look anything like the photo thats on yelp either. The Corn Bread was very good. Probably should have asked for more, I don't know if they would charge for it or not. The wife and I thought maybe at $27 it would be enough to share, but in case we got the $12 pulled pork. (good thing we did, because we needed it) I didnt realize the Slaw came right on the sandwich, just warning you in case you order it. It sure had more Slaw on it then it did pulled pork. about a $3 sandwich if you ask me. My son had the $12 cheese burger which was probably the best out of everything we got. Still a $12 cheeseburger? The youngest sons $5 meal was probably the only meal with the correct value on in. I doubt the family goes back any time soon.

    It was "just ok." Granted, I had an hamburger. The burger was nothing special, with no particular charbroiled taste. I was told by the waiter that I could substitute onion rings for french fries. The plate arrived with only 2 onion rings -- granted, larger ones -- on the plate. Huge disappointment. Note to restaurant: If you're only going to provide 2 onion rings in lieu of a plate of fries, either tell the customer when they order, or charge an extra dollar and don't look stingy. The drink special was good, but overall just an average experience.

    Had the slow roasted pork sandwich.... just ok. The BAD part of the evening, was that SLOW ASS WAITER!!! Idk if he was trying to, hold us for ransom or what. He SUCKED. Had to keep asking for a refill AND for the dam tab! Didint get to try any of their wide range of beers, in the tap room. They put brown paper on the table, so that you can write on it. Which WE did. Price range... about $$ Um has to KEEP asking for water service, which I'm STILL not sure his Ass brought. Over all, ech....

    Sharps was recommended by a coworker so I thought I would give it a try while I was in Seattle on a business trip. Overall the place was OK. If I could I would give 2.5 stars. What rounded it down to a 2 instead of up to a 3 was the cost. This place is not cheap by any means and the portions aren't anything special. When I was there I had the Grand City combo which features ribs, pork lion, chicken, and andouille sausage. To start off on a good note, the pork loin was phenomenal. Some of the best tasting and most tender I have ever had. The chicken and sausage were both just average. The ribs were terrible. Some of the driest ribs I have ever eaten and I don't think that's acceptable for a place that costs this much. If I got that at Denny's it would be one thing, but not when my meal cost $30. To go along with the average meal the service was terrible. I understand when places are busy, service may suffer. But it was a Monday night and the place was empty. All in all I will probably try this place again and I will update this review as needed. I travel to Seattle often for work and I typically stay across the street from this place.

    I stay at a hotel near this place while on business and always eat here at least once on every trip. I have probobly eaten here at least 15 times and have never had a bad experience. The menu is based around smoked and roasted meats with homestyle sides. The chicken, pork, turkey, and beef are always moist and tender. If you like heat to try the habenero BBQ sauce. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the servers do a great job of making one feel welcome. The bar is very well stocked with a unique selection of micro beers and just about any liquor one could want. This place may not be the best BBQ/Roaster I've ever had, but it's never let me down.

    Not worth the money, portion small and overpriced. My wife and I split the roaster trio (turkey, pork, and chicken). It cost $23 and only came with a total of 3-4oz of meat. There was no smoke taste. The chicken hindquarter looked like it came from a game hen. We expected a bit more fir something costing this much. On a positive note, the clam chowder was great.

    Great late night place! Extremely tasty pulled BBQ pork. This is a nice restaraunt with a relaxed atmosphere. The spits and roasters are all out in the middle of the place for all to look at, and the bar is away from the rest of the place. The food was good old roasted meat. They give you cornbread as a nice freebie. Salad is ok but all come with a dressing unless you tell them to hold it. The main entrees are professionally presented. Taste is smoky and warm. Meat was a bit dry, but just a bit. Service is fast and with a friendly positive attitude (thanks Evan!) My only gripe is that the side salad had a vinegrette sauce...and the bread had a maple sauce...the broccoli had aioli...the mashed potatoes had a sauce...even the meat had gravy! EVERYTHING IS DRENCHED IN SAUCE! remember to order stuff without the sauce if you want to avoid unneeded fatty oils. This was a very good place overall. I would definitely come back here for good food and good service.

    Came in at 1:15 dining room was closed only lunch bar menu. Had the pull pork sandwich. It was mostly coleslaw...and gristle...disgusting! The only good thing was the blue cheese dressing but the side salad was like the bag of shredded lettuce you buy for tacos. Note to self don't come back.

    This place was good! The wait was short, even on a Friday night. They give you complimentary corn bread- moist and authentic. The food tastes delicious, full of flavor and huge portions.     Outstanding draft ales, BBQ, and service We shared the Grand City Combo: Dry Ribs didn't strike my fancy but the sausage did - go figure? BBQ CHICKEN, Red Mashed Potatoes, Baked Mac N Cheese, and Coleslaw all great. All in All a v good dinner.

    If you are in a hurry, catching a flight this might not be the place to go. The place was half empty yet it still took 10 minutes to get a table. From there another 10 minutes to get the drinks we ordered. This place has all the gimmicks. The cornbread with some maple honey to munch on while you glance at the menu. The smoked woodchips in small paper bags free to take home and the jar of fire balls when the check comes. And entrees served with silver lids which just reminded me of how a hospital serves the food. The menu has a variety of items but no descriptions of what things are. So by the time the waiter came back to the table, we wanted to order yet had so many questions on what is what. I ordered the prime rib, and it is served one way. Which was perfect and to my liking. Came with some sort of gravy that tasted funky. The mashed potatoes were served in a ball, like they scoped it with an ice cream scoop. Tasted good but didn't look anything more than school cafeteria food.

    This is probably one of the most bizarre Diner type restaurants i've ever been to. I can't help be be amazed at it's unique eccentricities cloaked by a seemingly ho-hum establishment. Observe: As I wait for my food, instead of chips or fries or some other run of the mill table snack to tide us over, my friends and i receive a complimentary dish of cornbread shaped like a pancake with maple butter smothered over it(really damn good too!). Didn't see that one coming. Next, all our meals were brought to us Belvedere style, with large tin plates covers keeping all our food hot and delicious. The presentation threw me off, since all I got was a turkey sandwich. Also the actual plate presentation was somewhat obviously thought out and strategically placed as though it was a higher class establishment...but it's not. Odd, and neat at the same time. Twords the end of the meal, we were not given dinner mints. Nope. that would be too average. Instead we got Fireball jawbreakers. wtf? I mean, no complaints, it actually hit the spot quite nicely, but again, who is in charge of the ambiance and aesthetic coordination around here? On the way to bathroom, It was hard not to take notice of giant transparent roasters with probably a hundred pounds of meat being slowly roasted in plain sight. As i'm taking my post meal piss, I was again, taken back at the giant collection of framed Farside comics dating back to the early 90's and mid 80's. Instead of a not-so-tacky 2 or 3 framed comics, we had approximately 90+ covering a good portion of the entire restroom. some reaching the the actual caulk of the ceiling corners. If that wasn't enough, there are lots of amature looking photos of their clientele "having a good time" posted on the way out. Also thousands of free Meat Smoking Chips in paper baggies carefully aligned on every upper wood paneling of every booth and windowsill of the main eating section. This was also a courtesy gesture by the very quarky Roasters for their alarmingly cliche demographic of middle aged balding men eating alone. Nothing wrong with that, but the lack of variety in their clientele was a bit strange. I could go on. And i'm not over emphasizing any of this. I'm actually surprised no others yelps have taken notice to these attributes. The weirdest part is that I felt all of this was presented non nonchalantly to the average "Applebees" Customer, but instead delivered a much different experience. It also has a strange lonely juxtaposed feeling to that of the Lynch Movie Blue Velvet. It certainly was unusual, but I definitely enjoyed the experience. Maybe i'll go back, but mainly it was an interesting memory. Oh yeah. and the food was really good.

    We were spending a night in the very exciting and vibrant city of Seatac (not). The Roaster was what we could see from our hotel room - and even though it had no neon sign - Seinfeld memories were everywhere. We ventured in sans expectations, and what they brought to the table was pretty good given the circumstances. First of all the service if pretty friendly and professional (not sure if the two weeks in France influenced my perception). I got the chicken and it was pretty good. The GF got half a slab of the ribs and though the sauce was good the ribs were somewhat dry. The sides were decent and the micro brews on tap were good. If you are in the area stuck between flights this is a decent option.

    Love the food (usually), don't love the prices!!! It is a struggle to purchase a meal for under $15 bucks here. Even the Chicken Caesar is around $15 bucks. I love that they have a vegetarian plate, but they change it every couple of years. The last version with lettuce wraps instead of the stuffed tomato was a super dud for me. I have gone from a once a month customer to a twice a year customer. Too bad. Oh, and lose the stuffed moose head in the bar. GROSS!

    Ate here after several of my first choices were closed on Sunday. One of the most underwhelming meals I have had in a long time. I had a combo plate of Turkey, grilled chicken and pork loin. The turkey tasted like it had spent hours under a heat lamp. The pork was dry and over-cooked. The sides were uninspired. Prices were way overpriced for such underwhelming food. I was given the wrong beverage and then didn't see a waitress for 45 minutes. Service was slow and indifferent. I don't normally leave negative reviews but I felt that potential diners need to be prepared.

    First time to dine here. A couple things - we had an early dinner around 4 pm and it's still a lunch menu. We asked our server if we could order from the main dinner menu and we were limited. Luckily my friends ordered ribs, but I ordered the combination platter - the chicken wasn't ready for another hour and I got extra ribs to replace the chicken. The ribs were good, but the sausage and the pork was a little dry. The sides are very small portions. The infamous yummy corn bread wouldn't be ready until 5 pm. I was looking forward to a piece of corn bread. I ordered a mojito and could have used a little more mint and ice otherwise it was alright. The apple crisp was delicious.

    I had an hour to kill before going to a friends get-together, and I had never been in the place, so I thought What the Hey. I've got to get out more, and get back to Sharp's, I didn't eat, ha aslate lunch, but I did have a tankard of beer, Moose Drool ON TAP!!! and the aroma of roasting chickens on the spit!!! They had a couple of TV's going with the games, and classic rock over the speakers, the waitress was really friendly with all the patrons, and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the Liqour, and the food menu's, I'm going back, and soon, and I'm going back Hungry!!!
