Happens I am from Philly so I'm pretty picky about cheesesteaks. These are great... Nice and hot with melty Provolone cheese, mushrooms, and caramelized onions ( or whatever you might like. ) Great flavor... And the slightly toasted bread is right on. Downside ... I didn't like the turkey hoagie I had the first time I was here. Eventually a friend recommended this place for the cheesesteaks and that's what brought me back! Clean enough - but always feels a bit sticky... Counter tops, counter fronts, tables , chairs. Not as fresh looking as I'd like... But I've seen much worse in Philly! :) Overall, my 4 stars is for the cheesesteaks ... And the friendly service. I'll have to give the hoagie another chance on another day

This place is great. Cooked to order grilled subs. Crispy loaded fries. Friendly staff. Good value.

Yipes. Very outgoing staff! Which ended up making me feel rushed to the point where I just picked the first thing that came to mind. Instead of feeling welcomed I felt... herded. Not pushy or aggressive, still friendly, but I was thrown off guard by the dude's demeanor and ended up ordering the Philly Cheesesteak, something I never would have ordered, unless either it is a house specialty or I am in Philly. So, bad idea. It was my first time, I didn't know what to expect, I was new! I need hand-holding sometimes people. The place was deserted at 1:30pm and it felt a little ghetto to me, but I felt safe, seeing the familiar glow of a clone of the Coffee Empire comforting me from across the way, but that's another story... And why did they name a coffee shop after a character from Battlestar Gallactica, anyway? That being said, it was well executed, with fresh flavorful ingredients grilled just right. Maybe I'm disillusioned by episodes of Man v. Food, but I swear that they were skimping. The filling seemed a bit lacking and before he was finished making it I asked myself "where's the cheese?" And dangit, isn't there supposed to be cheese sauce with a Philly??? Was the bread even toasted? Probably not, since the white Provolone cheese did not contrast with the bread, prompting me to wonder about said cheese. What was I thinking? Whatever, I jumped the gun by ordering the first thing that popped into my mind. At any rate, it turned out to be a tasty, slightly messy sandwich, even though I could have used double portions on everything for the amount of bread wrapped around it. It was a semi-juicy mess requiring two napkins. Next time I'll enter I'll be prepared and on a mission. Perhaps... perhaps I will need more napkins! And where are all the bike racks in that shopping area? It's real close the the Chehalis-Western Trail and a nice stop-off point while on a ride. Answer: There are bike racks by the exercise facility, Thrive. Just so you know.

The filthiest place ive ever been. I seriously don't understand how they haven't shut down. Someone call health services. Yikes!!

Awful! The cook gave us a hard time (made fun of us?) about not hearing (bad acoustics) him. The service was lousy. The guy stopped our order, burning the chicken, to take money from another guy. Those two got into an argument over money - apparently the cook couldn't count money properly and couldn't make change. So our order was burned. My sandwich was made with stale bread. The sub supplies were low, so everything was pulled out of plastic bags. The cheese fries were made with cheap processed cheese. The whole fiasco took at least 20 minutes and cost us $23 for a 6inch sub, a 12inch sub (with burnt chicken), two fries, and two medium drinks. No apologies about waiting or burning the food were given.

The sandwich is good, however the place is dirty, and the solo employee making the food was making change with the plastic gloves on and then going back to handling the food with the same gloves on. I called the main store in Bonney Lake and asked to talk to the owner so I could clue him in as to the observations I made and the manager said the owner is always absent and him and another guy run the business, he then offered to buy me a free sandwich on my next visit to appease me, and that's not really what I cared about, Don't they get it, they need to face the problem at their restraunt.

Love the food! The sandwiches are all cooked fresh and are hot and delicious. Fresh smashed garlic on the flat top added to fries is amazing. Speaking of fries, also SO yum. All the combinations that I've tried have been amazing. Based on food alone, I'd give it four stars, because the amount of filling in sandwiches is small. If you got a foot long, and put all the ingredients on one side, this would be a five star sub. I only gave it three stars though because the place is DIRTY! The tables are sticky, the bathroom is a disaster, and the floor is always dirty. The toilet paper was sitting on the floor the lat time. Blech. Worth a taste!

I tried goimg to this place for the first time about a week ago open sign was on but it had a chain and lock around the door handle. Guess that means they are closed for good. After reading some of the reviews I am glad I didn't go.

The sandwich was fine. The service on the other hand. I am blown away. When I first walked up I noticed the guy working leaps over the counter to try to come open the door for me as I walked up, which a little weird considering the layout of the place, but whatever. Then he stood near me on the ordering side of the counter and tried to pick my sandwich for me. I indicated that I would rather pick for myself. (I should mention that when standing next to me I CLEARLY detected the smell of booze) I chose a sandwich, a bread, and he started grilling. While grilling he made a comment about how I looked like I probably run every day. I don't even know why my body type came up. It was really awkward. I tried to suggest some aerobics routines to take the focus off what I look like. Then he started talking about the place like "thank you so much for coming in, really" I was like "oh do you own the place?" he was like "what IS ownership really? isn't that an abstract concept?" uhhhhhh ok, rather lame attempt at existentialism. Then he changed the subject to why I had to take my sandwich and go rather than stay and eat, "I said well I have a lot of packing to do because I am moving" he goes "Oh you don't have some guy to help you with that?" O_O "Uhh, no I am pretty self sufficient" I hand him my card "oh so where did you get this card? who's is it? how much money is on it?" I am sorry WHAT? At this point I felt so freaking weird, i just wanted to run away. The actual owner needs to get rid of Existential-Sexual-Harassment-Boozey Mgee and who knows, maybe the chronic emptiness of the restaurant everyone else mentions might improve.

"So, is this place a chain?" "Well... not yet." Expanding from their first shop in Bonney Lake, Puccinis Venetian Subs is expanding to Lacey, Bremerton, and a TNT article says Olympia as well. They've got a good thing going: It basically starts as the same idea as a subway sandwich. Now, throw all the meat and veggies on a grill. Add some extra tasty condiments like garlic and cherry peppers. Toss in a ton of seasoning and cook it all up. Dump the cooked action on a toasted footlong roll and add some cold veggies and sauces. The end result: A huge and very messy grilled sandwich that runs you $6 (all footlong subs are $6). They've also got some good fries to go along with a meal if you want... buffalo ranch fries, garlic fries, and more. All in all it was pretty tasty, and I won't mind seeing a couple of these around.

Very nice. Imagine a typical chopped-up philly sandwich in a subway roll/cheese, and that's what this was like. I'd spend the extra buck and get a sandwich here instead of the other place. No contest. Had the chicken philly steak, which was nicely seasoned and had a spicy option, which I accepted. They also sell a variety of fries, but I didn't try those. Between this place, that burger place, and that pizza place, this corner of Lacey has quite a bit to offer...

We decided to try this local sub shop we stumbled upon, unknowing of the yelp reviews. Upon walking into the shop I noticed it was DIRTY. The floors were sticky, the walls and refrigerated case coated in dirt and smudges, and a thick layer of dust all over. The tables were sparse and chairs seemed kind of mishmash and the atmosphere was not at all inviting. Against our better judgment, we decided to try the sandwiches anyway. The meat was discolored, and the veggies looked old, wilted and brown. It did not appear that they were fresh, or properly stored/prepared. We took our orders to go, as I did not want to sit inside the dirty restaurant. When we got home, the bread was stale and tasted of generic rolls from the store. The meat had a funky taste, and I couldn't stomach more than a few bites. What a waste of $20+ for 4 crappy sandwiches. I would not be surprised if the Health Department shut this place down. We will NOT be returning, ever.

I come here often as it is right behind my office. I have gotten to know the staff very well. All the items on the menu are great. Be prepared to leave feeling like you just ate a buffet though. They're quite... Filling. You can make pretty much anything on the menu be a wrap which helps with the feeling. I would never actually sit and eat at the place though, unless I'm prepared to leave smelling like a cook all day. A cleaner place would make this a 5 star.

AVOID AT ALL COST! If I could give this zero stars I would. We stumbled upon this place looking for something different, boy did we find different. We bought a 12" Philly cheese steak and an order of garlic, parsley fries to split between two of us. The bread was toasted, actually burnt, as was the contents of the sandwich. The garlic, parsley fries were obviously poor quality frozen fries which had perhaps 3-4 pieces of burnt chopped garlic tossed on top. Certainly nothing like the picture showed of the item. We actually got up and threw the entire lunch in the trash after two bites. Besides the food, the restaurant was dirty, another reviewer mentioned sticky, that's a good description. We won't be back.
