This is a pretty good pizza joint in Vermont. The slices are huge and so is the pizza. Though you will be paying about 25 dollars per pizza including tax and there's no way around that unless you have some promotion item. You can go there and order slices but then you're limited. The pizza is very good but it's preeeetty greasy. The toppings are plentiful. I frequent visit this establishment but twice they put me on hold for over 10 minutes ! Both these times I've just hung up. The southwest steak and cheese is the pizza I get most and it's very good. The crust is very good and is important to a good pizza. Ramuntos is good, it's not the best but its priced as if it was the best.

This place is fairly new in town, but has easily surpassed any other pizza place in the area. The specialty pizzas are all great along with their calzones, sandwiches, and salads. It's a great place to order whole pizzas from or swing in for a few slices. Their prices may be a bit higher, but it's well worth the difference and you can tell that it's mostly due to fresh, quality ingredients. I'd also say the staff are great and seem to enjoy what they're doing. If you're in the Williston area, I would highly recommend checking it out.

Our office is just down the street from Ramuntos, and we order from them frequently for many events, meetings, etc. What I can say for the pizza is that it is generally very good, and they have the best spicy buffalo chicken pizza I've ever had - I say this as someone that generally doesn't like chicken pizzas, but will always order this one from Ramuntos. Service on the other hand is a bit chilly and rushed at times. Not always the most friendly people to deal with - experience on the phone is quite curt when ordering; expect to get hung up on if they think you've finished, even if you haven't. If it wasn't for that, they would rate a full star higher.

Pretty darn good pizza. Featured in the photo are buffalo chicken and "the white." Both are good, and thus far, the best buffalo pizza I've ever tasted. The BF loves the place. The place Is definitely a neighborhood favorite noted by the number of delivery boys coming in and out. I took off one star because of the dough --- there's something missing that I can't quite pinpoint - smokiness maybe? I'll have to revisit.

The food here was great! The smallest calzone is massive, def a good value. I like how they give you tons of dipping sauce. The meatball sub is also huge and pretty tasty. They had my call-in order ready fast and they were friendly. That area need some good pizza and good service. Thanks!

Good pizza, conveniently located in Williston, good prices. It is definitely New York style pizza. I'd definitely order from Ramunto's again next time through Vermont.

@Tasha-- The Ramunto's in Middlebury is SO SO good and some of the best pizza I've had. So if that's the one you go to since you're down in Bristol, you are correct, the review wouldn't match... BUT the one in Williston tasted horrible. (And no, I don't w

I wanted to like them. Honestly, I have a bias against NY style pizzas, but after having good luck with the local competitor name that begins with J, I figured we should try out Ramuntos. Ordered on a Saturday afternoon after the lunch rush for takeout, wanted to order a Meat lovers with garlic knot crust, but was quoted a total price of nearly $40 for one pizza! Price difference of adding the garlic knot crust was over $10! So, we decided to get just the Meat lovers instead, and upon pickup it was fresh and warm. I did notice a black web material under the pizza but didn't think anything of it at the time (more on that later). Tried out the pizza a few minutes later after reaching our destination, and it was as I remembered other NY pizza to be, plain flavored flour backed crust with some minor burning in spots, average tomato sauce (forgot to ask for white sauce because of the garlic sticker shock!) but well covered in meat lover toppings. If you prefer a bit more flavor to your pizza, be sure to stop by their counter for garlic powder and italian seasoning in shakers. A couple of slices into the pizza, I took a closer look at the black web material that was included in the pizza box under the pizza. I happened to catch a local radio station's ad for Ramuntos, saying they have recently implemented new technology to keep the pizza warmer longer. The black material seems to be black plastic.... now I am a moderately 'crunchy' person, but isn't placing a several hundred degree warmed food DIRECTLY on plastic not a good idea? Wouldn't the food absorb the plastic particles? You can see this plastic material in Andrew N.'s review from Dec. 2014. If I do head back to Ramuntos, I'll be sure to remember to specifically request no black plastic 'pizza insulator' for my order.

Short and sweet, delicious pizza at a reasonable price and the cal-mungo will easily feed a family of 4 which is great for my food budget.

We had a great time here for Trivia night. The Sicilian chicken bacon ranch pizza was excellent, as were the beer specials!

Absolutely amazing. Ordered delivery and it was prepared beautifully, arrived hot, and came with extra sauce. They even deliver 2 liters. Found my new pizza delivery service.

We absolutely loved the pizza here. My family and I thought it was the best we ever had. We ordered a large pepperoni and an Italian sub. Both were great. I live in Colorado and haven't been able to find pizza half this good. Next time we visit, we will be eating here.

A lot of different slices are always available. It was a busy Saturday lunch but with plenty of friendly staff Ramuntos did a good job. Someone in the in the kitchen was calling orders and making things run smoothly. Both my slices were again good and with a refillable drink I think theres value for what you get. A suggestion would be to add the name of each pizza that is available to purchase as a slice. Will be back when Im in the area and would recommend

Stopped in to check out Ramunto's, which is near Taft's Corner (tucked around the back side of the 99 Restaurant). Nice little place with lot's of varieties of pizza by the slice. We decided to do the Sicilian Meat Lovers, and wow... Great pizza! My only issues was the place is a little dysfunctional. Walk in and not sure if there's table service of if you order at the counter. We got our cups, got a table, and when the pizza came out we didn't have plates, forks, nothing. So found the plastic forks up near where the cup covers are. Had to ask for plates, and they handed us 3 small pizza pans (that was interesting!). Staff is nice, and the pizza was tasty. Prices were reasonable. We'll go back as we know what to expect.

After growing up in New York City I was excited about the possibility of a NY style pizza in the area. They boast its "authentic" but so far from it. Cardboard crust, hardly any cheese...very disappointing. Bought a few pies home to have with friends and was so embarrassed by the quality and taste. What a rip off!!!

Ok quality za... Never have had delivery not be less the 60 min.. $45~ for two 14" specialty pizzas (buffalo chicken & vegetable) Only thing this place has going is the Cal-Mungo, a crazy 5 lb calzone that you need to finish in 45 min. That's the American dream, food challenges.

They deliver to our house! YAY! Ramunto's is the ONLY restaurant in the Williston area that seems to deliver past Hurricane Lane - towards Hinesburg. Those of us living off of Old Creamery Road & surrounding neighborhoods FINALLY have a place that will deliver to us! The pizza is pretty darn good! We LOVE the fact they have caramelized onions and other funky options/yummy combos. We pretty much do take out or delivery so I don't have much to say on the inside of the restaurant. I do feel that they expanded their delivery area too quickly. We were getting pizzas pretty quickly, hot and with great service but occasionally we will get luke warm pizza versus hot. Though it has gotten better in the last 6 months. Williston is better for having Ramunto's in it!

I'm not sure how this business can legally call themselves "brick oven" pizza when there isn't a brick oven in sight. They use the same equipment a fast-food sub shop does, and there is a big difference in taste. On that note, the pizza is pretty tasteless, the crust is doughy, and the ingredients are far from fresh. The kids that work in the shop are unfriendly. Also, the walls, menu, and even tabletops are covered in advertisements from other businesses. The whole place exudes a cheap, depressing vibe.

I am from the south and it is hard to find good New York style pizza anywhere. Although this place was well on poi t. Very good New York style pizza. Service is fast and prices are very decent for what you get. Great place to eat if you are in a hurry with tasty delicious pizza!!

Soooooooo, when did it become ok for people to not wear gloves when handling food? Definitely not cool and I won't be coming here again!

Yelp's 2 star label is "Meh. I've experienced better." That is exactly how I would describe my first order with Ramunto's. I was shocked at the prices but we had been driving all day so I tried it out. We purchased a single pizza with 4 toppings (their speciality pizzas only come in large) and a small side salad for delivery. After tipping the driver we had spent $35. I opened the pizza and was shocked to see a pretty average pizza. Great crust but same old toppings I would expect from Domino's. For that price I'd much rather get a high-quality ingredient pizza down at one of the farm-to-table restaurants in Burlington. So while the pizza was not a bad pizza, it's not worth the money and I won't be re-ordering only for that reason.

Got two pies for carry out. 1 New York style, the other Sicilian. The Sicilian was loaded with veggies, and was of the best pizzas I've had in my 22+ years in Vermont.

Great people, fantastic pizza, super kid-friendly and cheap eats. We go to Ramunto's at least once a week. The staff is always really friendly and take care of any need we might have. Our family of five are all foodies of varying degrees and the food options never let us down. We love being regulars at Ramuntos.

You must come here if your in the area. I'm a pizza junkie and this is hands down the best pizza I have ever had. Not only that the people here are extremely friendly! Don't forget to get some break knots!!!

Disappointing for me... There were four in our group. The two who ordered pizza slices said they were good. Unfortunately, the two who ordered subs, including myself, were not impressed. The meatballs in one sub were served crushed by design, so it's not much different than a ground beef sub. My steak sub called for steak, cheese, peppers, onions and mushrooms. When ordering I confirmed twice that the vegetables would be sautéed...they were not! Also, they forgot the mushrooms! Not the best experience...

Pizza seems like art in that many people are pretty particular about their pie. I don't know what authentic is, but I've had great pizza from NY to Italy. I don't know about claims, but I really enjoy this pizza. It is my go to joint over local flatbread style, Leonardos, BiteMe, Juniors and more. I do like all of the aforementioned, but there's something about Ramuntos that I really like. The pizza seems well balanced, fresh and simple. From plain to specialty pizzas, you can't go wrong... unless you attempt their Calzone challenge :)

What a disappointing dining experience I had at Ramunto's and what an I don't give a shit attitude from management. Tonight, 2/11/13, I went in at just after 7 PM. The chicken parm sandwich on the menu looked good and I asked the stocky counter girl how is the chicken parm? She replied it was one of their top dishes. OK, I ordered one. When it was served to me right off the bat I knew something wasn't right. The fried chicken cutlet that the menu described wasn't there. Rather a micro waved piece of chicken that was unevenly cooked was served in its place. Instead of having a crispy outside coating the breading was soft, mushy and was easily displaced with each probe from my fork. I went up to the counter and asked where their frialator was. The kid that spoke to me said they didn't have one. I then asked the kid, who was nice enough, when a manager would be in. He said that there was a manger there and he would be over to speak with me. An Asian guy came over and listened to me. He then asked if I wanted a makeover. I asked him if it would be prepared as the menu described. He said it would be made the same way as the sandwich that was served to me. I feel that I was cheated, lied to and that the manger I spoke didn't give a shit about customer satisfaction or truthfulness in his menu. Stay away from this clip joint. Your dining needs will be better served at either Marco's or Junior's.

Being from NYC i don't want to toot my own horn but i don't know how many different pizza's i have eaten in the city , prob thousands of different places. So when a Pizzeria in Vermont says its New York Style Pizza, I've got to clearly taste it and see it for myself. My girlfriend picked it up for us one day while i was visiting and let me tell you something it truly is the closest thing you can get to NYC style pizza in VT. In fact Ramunto's taste just like Ray Bari Pizza in the city and they are a famous chain down in NY so that's saying something. Juicy, thick cheese, flavor that's bursting and melts in your mouth and with each bite I gave a silent "mhmmmm" because it was wonderful. Each time I've had Ramunto's while visiting it has never disappointed me, please keep up the good work!!!!

You only find a place like Ramunto's after driving down Canadian highways, followed by Route 91, and there's absolutely nothing else to eat. Sure, you could have turned left and gagged on some KFC or Taco Bell but, no, you turned right and drove 3 miles until you stopped at the first place you saw -- essentially, a barn that offers pizza, subs, and other comfort foods. I didn't have pizza, but instead went for a buffalo chicken sub. It took some time to make (my friends were almost done with their pizza, which they enjoyed), but it was tasty and definitely filling. Some nice touches -- they bring your food to your table and they accept credit cards. And my juice: grape cranberry. Nice combo! The price was a bit steep for rural Vermont -- over $10 for a sandwich and a bottle of juice -- but I suppose that's what you get when you're one of the few games in town. Certainly better than the fast food alternatives, though I doubt that I'll ever be here again. And that makes this place a bit special because it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience, unless of course you're local.

Didn't blow my socks off but decent pizza and a great delivery radius. They also sell slices at the shop.

I moved my business, CJ's Barber Shop, across the parking lot from Ramuntos on Nov 1st of 2010. And since being here I have ordered from them many times as I don't always have my lunch with me. To make a long story short, from my first order I was "blown away" with the food! The "portions" are generous, the flavor is always mouth watering. Whether you get their pizza, subs or whatever, it is ALWAYS worth your money. These folks know how to deal with a persons hunger! Highly, highly recommend this place. -- CJ of CJ's Barber Shop

Best pizza in town (I would say for Williston and surrounding area) from what I've tasted. It isn't cheap, but I'd say it is priced appropriately as you get petty awesome taste for it. Nice thin & crunchy crust, flavorful toppings, and pretty quick service.

A decent place for a slice of NY style pizza. Crust is a bit more flavorful than the nearby Rocky's.
