As others have said this place doesn't have that feel of some healthfood places that some of us try to avoid, but it does have a great selection of healthy products. The grocery section is not huge so can't expect to do all your shopping here. The produce section is pretty good, the salad bar and deli are both good as well. The best part though is the bulk section. So many options and the prices are great for tea, coffee, spices, snacks, etc. Oh, and they sometimes have beef bones in from local farms for people looking to make their own bone broth. And now they even have a growler filling station in the back.

Located underneath the Williston Goodwill store, Natural Provisions is a quiet, calm refuge for anyone in search of bulk nuts or spices. The ambiance is exceptional, especially when you decide to stay awhile and savor one of the many sandwich options made to order. Salads are available from the mediocre-stocked salad bar or cooler case. However, that abundance of calm may be shattered when you start to compare the prices of everyday objects you pickup elsewhere. The difference in price is sometimes astounding and cause for pause. What Natural Provisions gets right is their selection of natural, organic and "green" products that can be hard to find in other mainstream stores. Sure, I'll spend an extra $2.00 to buy vegan cheese flavored popcorn because this is the only place I've ever seen it sold. Come here for the quiet, the selection and the green products. I suggest walking through the aisles a few times to get a sense of what is necessary to purchase here or what can be bought elsewhere. Sandwiches are hit or miss. Take any sandwich from the menu and customize to your heart's content. However, ingredients run the gamut from fresh and green to sad and droopy. Do grab a sandwich punchcard for the next time you buy. After a few "Dagwoods" or "New Englanders", you'll have a free one. All in all, Natural Provisions is a great natural foods store if you know what you want to buy when you first step foot inside.

Pretty cool store- not too overwhelming and doesn't have the same "granola" feel as other healthy food stores. There was definitely a variety of goods and I would go again. However, as expected, it is a bit pricey.

Great organic food store with sandwich shop. Amazing food options, however like most things in VT the food is quite expensive but in this case greatly worth it for the quality. Try the Dagwood sand which, 1/2 lb of meat which turned out to be amazing.

BBQ take-out on Fridays at lunchtime. Be there.

Almost two years later, I still LOVE Natural Provisions. I've branched out and started buying bulk spices (which saves a TON, by the way) and recently had them special order a case of gluten free bread for me. The later was SO easy and I was pleased to see that they offered a bulk item discount of 10%. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and available to help out. Again, it's definitely not cheaper than going to a "normal" chain grocery store but the selection is great for the size of the space and the service is definitely better! I do wish they sold meat at a "meat counter" and not just packaged but that's a small nit. Be sure to check out the BBQ Fridays happening in the summer around lunch time- REALLY good food and a lot of it!

Horrible. The food sucked, it was old and possibly moldy. And the staff was even worse, rude and didn't seem to care about any of our questions concerning the products, in fact, they treated me like I was dumb. Their kitchen was gross, the sanitary conditions were horrible. I will NEVER go there again and I strongly recommend that you don't either, unless you like paying for horrible food and service.

Great deli, salad bar and hot bar are good, albeit small - the staff is friendly and helpful. Has a bit more of a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere than other area health food stores. Or store.

I come to NP just about every day when I'm in town. Sometimes twice a day if I need to pick up some stuff for the apartment. Where to start...? Start at the deli counter - definitely the best in the area, if a little on the slow side. There's generally a sandwich special and everything they make is delicious. (Plus, you can get a "Frequent Sandwich Card" and every tenth one is on the house. Nicey nice.) Not in the mood for a sandwich? Hit up the hot buffet or the salad bar, both of which are pay by the pound, and again, very tasty things can be found daily. In the summer the hot buffet is replaced by a BBQ on Fridays. There's a produce section up front, but it can be hit or miss at the end of the day. The grocery items are just fine, lots to pick from here, including a bulk section and coffee grinding areas. Lots of gluten free products to be found, lots of dairy free ones as well (casein free too), not to mention vegan things. If you're into that sort of thing. Just be prepared as time seems to slow down inside this store.
