I have eaten at every restaurant in this space since the early 1990s and this is one of the best. We went for breakfast and the menu was mercifully manageable but still had the classics and a few surprises. I had a goat cheese, tomato, & spinach omelet, which was a little spendy for an omelet but it was big and they were generous with the extra toppings. I was just delighted to have goat cheese in eggs, who knew how good that combo would be! My friend had poached eggs and hash that she seemed pleased with. It was the first hash I ever tried and it was delicious. We both loved the spicing of the home fries. I know I'd go back.

The pork shank was delicious. Then oyster corn cakes were very tasty as well. Everyone was very friendly and loved the intimacy of the restaurant. I highly recommend eating here!

Food is ok. They should try to use more of the food made from local farms. They are too heavy into meat. Would be nice to have some other options.

Went for breakfast for first time since ownership change. Some changes like no more self serve cofee which is fine, because now you can get a nice breakfast plate for $6.50 for two eggs toast bacon homefries which in the valley here is an excellent value. Very nice. Big english muffin. Plenty of bacon. Mmmm. I got the OJ too which is where most joints make their money and this was no exception at 3.50 for a glass, but on the whole a better value than certain other establishements nearby that think 8-9 dollars is a fair price for a breakfast burritto.

Food was great! Service was fast. We had our toddler and 3 month old and they were so warm and welcoming. Ours of was served quickly and they were very interactive with the children. Would definitely go again!

The new ownership has made all the difference in this place! Great food and so many options! The corn and black bean cake appetizers were great and their burgers were fabulous! We saw their prime rib special and it looked awesome. For dessert we tried the pumpkin creme brûlée - A+! We will remember this place on our next visit.

Don't be fooled by the name; this establishment offers interesting upscale food with good presentation at reasonable prices. It is a small casual upscale pub environment with friendly good service. It stands out among the valley eating establishments - worth a visit.

Great food and super nice food. The owner takes real pride in the establishment and that all guests are treated well and it really showed when spoons had been forgotten when we got our desserts, he apologized and comped us drinks. Can't get better service than that.

First of all, the staff rocks. Bartenders making unique concoctions on their own, taking care of every aspect of your meal. Food is backed by a great chef. Crab/lobster cake was chunky, the real deal. Fondue was silky, touch of Kirsch, perfect. Duck and mushroom gnocchi were great, although a bit salty. Would be back ASAP

We've been here a couple of times, great value and very well done. It's a great place to bring our whole office for birthdays and closing celebrations. I've had the steak sandwich special which was great. Staff was attentive, it's clean and neat. Everyone has enjoyed the meals, well done.

Amazing. Best food I have ever had in VT! Great service and an outstanding menu. A must visit if in the area!

It was ok. Server seemed really tired and out of it. We got served the wrong food and had to send it back. then they offered us free dessert which we accepted but the strawberry shortcake was made with a scone that was really overcooked and really stale. The whole experience was strange but the chicken they have was amazing

Called Saturday at 6 and told If a party of two, just come in and we will seat you..no reservation needed. Hostess was curt and didn't take our names, said we could wait at bar. 30 minutes later after speaking with her, realized she hadn't put us on her list. 1.5 hrs later, finally got a spot at bar. Food rather good. Got a steak which was well Prepared, mashed potatoes and carrots. The veggies were very good. Music a cross between heavy metal and pop. Crowded, small, avocado green walls in bar with too bright lights. Understaffed. If you come here, make reservations. Don't expect too much. If you can deal with the crowd and limited space and staff the food is good.

Waited 20 minutes for service and were told rather rudely by our waitress that she could only take our drink order at this time. We left and ate elsewhere.

Nice breakfast with local friendly atmosphere. Very reasonably priced and "excellent" house coffee poured. Stop by and give these nice folks a try

Loved this place. The owner, Marty, is super friendly and came out to speak with us. The food was great as was the service. The beer was pretty darn good too. I highly recommend the Elusive Moose!.

Lunch menu is great, the endive salad with smoked salmon is a winner. Breakfast is good but needs some zing. Can't wait to try dinner. Nice folks and a great addition to the area dining scene.
