I don't know how people had bad food here. Yes it was a bit chilly in there, but everything else was great! Had a party of 7 and we all enjoyed our food very much! Thank you for having delicious Asian food in Killington, VT. P.s. ... Greencurry duck.. on point! ~D.C. foodies.

Was super disapointed with our meal. Was so looking forward to a Thai meal in Rutland. First, the place was a freezing cold for a restaurant. 55 degrees in the dining room. We ordered two coffees that were served cold and tasted like grinds that had been sitting for days. Later would see we were charged $3 a cup! Soup tasted like plain broth with RAW veggies just added at the last moment. Chicken Satay over cooked dry. My Pad Thai was greasy and looked like they had added stewed romaine lettuce. All the dishes we ordered lacked any depht of flavor and seemed totally disjointed. SUPER DISAPPOINTED. Was really hoping to find some good Thai around here. I guess Ill keep looking.

Extremely horrible experience :( To our shock, this place can't handle a group of 15 people. Lackluster service. Ran out of rice in middle of our dinner. Were asked to either wait for 30 mins or replace with noddles :( Dinner portions (with rice ingredient) were kids portion. Veggies were not cooked properly. Server was super confused and spoke (yelled at us in a way) to us when we were ordering our vegetarian dishes. Inspite of explicit institutions 3/4 vegetarian dishes had egg in them. This place gives preference to take outs rather than folks eating in-house. Extremely disappointed !? Won't recommend to anyone. This list can go on

A pleasant surprise outside Rutland. Very good, solid Thai... good portions... fair pricing. I have a high bar for 5 stars. This is a solid 4 stars. I would gladly return.

Sorry. This is not the place to eat at Killington. Low patronage equals low turnover of food, which leads to freezer burn and other poor taste issues. Too bad, I've had good Thai at places like Stowe.

I am amazed , how a restaraunt that serves such amazing food, probaby wont make it, I think this is the 4th thai family to try, at this location, in the last 5 years, just because people are afraid to go there and try it. I drive by Applebee's yuck and they are always busy, I go to thai pan and am usually only one there , yet my food is always great. I challenge the good people of Rutland, and beyond to try this place, you will find your new favorite food.

Had the Pineapple Duck - it was excellent! Very fortunate to have such delicious Thai in Rutland! Great atmosphere. Spread the word

Food was amazing. Had golden fingers (calamari) so good. Green curry duck was very good. Crispy and medium spicy. Would recommend this place to everyone.

What a nice, pleasant surprise. The food was amazing. The spicy basil sauce with choice of meat was outstanding!! The vegetables were cooked to perfection. Mot too raw or too soft. The service was friendly and attentive. I travel through Rutland often and will definitely be back!

My wife & I live in DC and are currently honeymooning at the Killington Grand Resort. I really, really love Thai food and was surprised to see a Thai restaurant in this part of town so we had to stop by for dinner! I went to Thailand in 2001 - Bangkok, Koh Samui, Chiang Mai - and completely fell in love with the cuisine. Pad See Ew is my absolute favorite dish. Both the wife and I thought Thai Pan's food and service were excellent! The atmosphere is very nice and our waiter, a gentleman originally from Bangkok, was very friendly and attentive. We are in the area for 5 more days and I am hoping we can go at least one more time if not more! The waiter recommended coming for lunch so we are going to try and do that. **Note about finding the place: Thai Pan took over its current location from Thai Star another Thai restaurant that closed down. A Google search brought up the Thai Star restaurant at a 1967 Route 4 but both Yelp & Google Maps show Thai Pan's location as 27 US 4. The latter worked better for us!***

I have driven past this restaurant so many times. Today I made a reservation and went to eat. It was a bit quiet in as much as there were not many other people, but the service was good. The food was excellent. They have a good menu with a wide range of choice. We were a group of four and we all had something different and it was all great. Highly recommended. I will go again.

I believe the reason this place is still in business is because there are no other options for Thai food. Thank goodness I live close because they are only open Friday/Saturday from 5-930 and thry now only accept payments. That just tells me that they are going downhill and are slowly dying out... We decided to dine in and that was a huge mistake. The dining room was super cold, we kept our coats on for the entire dinner and even the spicy food wasn't enough to warm us up. Chicken satay was over cooked and dry. The spring rolls were under fried and soft instead of crispy. The kee-mao was super spicy by default when all the thai restaurants I've been to make it mild by default. At the very least, ask us how spicy we wanted it or let us know it comes spicy because the menu stated no such thing. The basil fried rice had zero basil flavor which really bummed me out. I dont believe I will be coming back here again and from the looks of it, they will not be in business for very much longer.

Food is good, as well as the prices... But entire seating area is too cold (due to broken heat) and takes away much comfort. Also, service is slow due to single kitchen hand.

PLEASE NOTE Thai Pan has no relationship to the previous Thai restaurant at the same location. New Owners, new menu. MUCH better food....with that said... What are you waiting for? You should be there right now eating the best Thai food around! Never disappoints...ever. We try to eat there at least once a week and whether we get take-out or eat in I am always impressed. Lunch is an incredible deal and the portions generous. The owners (?) are friendly and attentive and the place is squeaky clean. We have had every variety of curry, most of the appetizers and several noodle dishes, all of it fantastic. So round up your friends, your kids, and your coworkers and get some of the best Thai I've had anywhere. They will thank you for it.

The curries are decent and hit the spot, since there are really no other options for Thai cuisine around here. Tom kha soup is okay, but certainly not the best I've ever had. We have never eaten in; only ordered take-out. That being said, I would rather order take-out here than eat in most restaurants in Rutland.

The restaurant is very nice. Welcoming and comfortable. Not sure why it never seems to have any customers when I drive by. I'm sorry to say my Pad Thai dish was very sour tasting. I've eaten Pad Thai a hundred different places and while you expect each restaurant to taste different I and lunch date thought it was very sour tasting.

Ok, so seriously....this place has amazing food! Seriously. Granted, I ordered to go, but it was SO good! There's not much else to say other than this place is legit. If you like Thai food....if you really know Thai food...you need to eat here. The catch: you have to go to Rutland.

You must go here! This place is wonderful. The food is phenomenal and the service was friendly, attentive and professional. I had the fried red snapper in chili sauce served over a bed of steamed, crispy vegetables. It was incredibly flavorful, crunchy and well-balanced... absolutely delicious. My mother had the Thai chicken fried rice with pineapple and cashews. That was also very flavorful; she loved it as well. The portions were very generous. We will definitely be coming back! I strongly recommend visiting this place if you have the chance. It is a bit out of the way and located in a seemingly random area, but worth it when you find it. The directions are clear enough. We look forward to our next visit to this place and I hope they will be here for a very long time.

Food is delicious. I am surprised to find good Thai food close to the ski resorts. The owner seems from Thai that may explain why the food taste so good. Recommend lemon grass duck, soup with shrimp and pad Thai .

Amazing! I tried the Thai Inter and was very pleased with the amount of food and the amazing taste!

An absolute hidden gem on the way to Killington. It doesn't look like much but finding quality thai food in the middle of Vermont is a great treat. I highly suggest you try the green curry and the pad thai. You just can't go wrong.

Should you crave very good Thai food, this is where to go! When you do, be sure to try the wonton with ginger sauce, which is a party in the mouth! The owners are friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Although we arrived at the restaurant at the moment of closing {unbeknownst to us}, we were encouraged to stay at our leisure. We would definitely return and would not hesitate to bring our friends as well. Go and enjoy!!!
