Love the burgers at Red Robbins but seriously their service sucks big time at the one in Dulles Town Center! The staff is just not into customer service! We were there for dinner today the food was served without cutlery and then after waiting to get some attention in an almost empty restaurant my husband finally walked to the bar to ask for it. The girl who happened to be our server as well just ignored him and disappeared for the next 10 mins. Finally managed to get the cutlery from another server. Our server never came back to ask incase we needed a refill! Totally disappointed would never go there if I did not like their food ... Oh well I guess will find another one to go to

Ten minute wait turned into forty five as we overheard multiple reasons as to delay. After 40 minutes we asked for advice about staying and waiting it out and were told three different stories. Communicate people. I totally get that there was a glitch. All I wanted was a truthful and reasonable answer. Honesty is always the best way to go. We are good customers who always tip well above 15%. Sorry servers we went next door. Maybe next time. Pls work on a plan for next time.

We go here primarily for the kids. They've gone through a redesign recently. One of the waitresses said they are attempting to differentiate themselves from the Chuck-E-Cheese next door. The food has stayed fairly consistent over the years. They do add a new style of burger now and then. The latest change is the bottomless root beer floats ... For nearly $5.

If you want a good burger, lots of variety, quick and good. Nice price point, I like to bring the family, as I have small children and its not a big deal that the kids are loud. That being said its not a quite place.

Okay it is a chain and it is not the best burger around BUT my kids love it, I do love the banzai burger or chicken version, the service is always good, and they have a very good selection of drinks. Last visit my son ordered the pretzel bites and raved about them - they were really good and the cheese sauce added to their yumminess. It is always in the running when we are looking to eat at the Dulles Town Center area.

Wow, they've dropped in quality here. I doubt it has to do with the strange shift in decor, but the service has really collapsed. There are still a couple of wait staff here who know what they're doing, but unfortunately they're now the exceptions, not the rules. I was coming here about 1/week with my daughter, and every week it was some kind of messed up order, forgotten silverware, or just mistake after mistake. I'm about done with it. But, look, it's got stuff here kids like, and if you're so inclined, go for it. The food quality has generally stayed above average.

Went here this past Sunday with my family. First time at this location. Party of 9. It was 8pm when we arrived. Got sat and took forever to get greeted by our server. When she came over to take our drink order she didn't crack a darn smile on her face and seemed very impatient..Trust me I've been a server before and you better work for your tips and I learned all my customer skills from being a server! Anyways we order ours drinks and entree at the same time because who knew how long it'll take her to get the drinks to us and our food out. Yup our drinks took a while to come out then our food came out slowly...she never stopped by again to check on how everything was. We needed drinks refilled and all our bottomless sides refilled and we see her standing there texting...finally the manager I'm assuming comes by to take our refill order and brings it out to us. Our server comes up to us to let us know another server will be taking care of us and walks away. So yep we ended up only tipping 15% when we usually tip 20%.. but I got the root beer float and bacon cheeseburger which was alright..I'm not really a fan of this place or their food even though I keep wanting to give it a try..

Before all of these new burger spots started popping up all over the place 5 Guys and Red Robin were my go to spots for burgers, now I would say that Red Robin is alot lower on my list, the burgers are good and the unlimited fries are awesome, but like the other reviews The service at this location needs to change ( the daytime bartender Shawn is on point) I don't come here as much as I used to but overall it's a good place to get a good burger or salad but it's better to call it in and get it to go(at this location anyway)

This restaurant has been a childhood favorite of mine. It was delicious, especially the honey mustard. The atmosphere was live and active and with tons of unique pictures and posters to make you look around to see what's on them. I especially did this too. The service was great too. Until I went here just recently. When I saw the outside, I saw that there had been a remodeling of the outside. The logo had been changed and the whole building's color was a dark red. Just dark red. (I thought "how can people see this place at night when the sign lights are out") then when I went inside, I was shocked in HORROR of what the remodels were: 1. The front lobby: the arcade was taken out, the seating was the same, and there is this 20' tall chalkboard that takes up 1/4 of the tiny corner wall. I waited about 15-20 minutes, not a waiting time to complain about too much (yet?) 2. The seating area: about 97% of the pictures were GONE. The seats were the same though. I felt like the place was ginormous instead of small because of all of the stuff that was taken out of there. The atmosphere was bland and empty. So when I got seated I ordered my drink, and it took FOREVER. If it takes 10-15 minutes to get a drink, then there is a (small) problem. While I were waiting, still about the drink, there were other waited asking me if I had been served yet. Then my drink came finally. Our waiter apologize for the long wait. Then I ordered our food and we waited for triple the time I waited for my drink. I only got checked on about once in the 9 years I waited for food. Also, I hadn't got silverware yet, and guess what? There was no silverware! So I had to wait about 5 minutes for silverware to be washed and be given to me. Eventually I got my food. Again the waiter apologized and left. The food (as always) was delicious. Why couldn't I get food faster if it was this food? After I ate my food I waited another 5 years for my waiter to come. I got my bill and put the money in there. Then the waiter took the money without a smile nor thank you nor "do you need change?" Our waiter didn't return after that. And so I left, with me being disappointed with my experience. The verdict: I was sorely disappointed with my experience. The food and drinks were delicious. The service was iffy and the waiting times were ridiculous. Final rating: 8.0/10 +Good food and drinks +The honey mustard (as always) -Iffy service -Long waiting times -Bland and empty atmosphere Even though I was disappointed, I still recommend this restaurant.

Excellent big tavern burger and fries. Try the mini wedge salad, perfect size to start your dinner. Service was a little slow but the food as always is spot on.

Came in here not long ago and sat at the bar thinking it would make things go faster, this was not the case. The two female bartenders appeared to be arguing the whole time we were there and we just watched them make bickering comments at each other the whole time. If I were the manager I would have sent them both packing for acting that way in front of guests. The food itself was OK when it finally came out. The one bartender blamed the other one and we found out it had been sitting on the counter. So if you decide to go here and get a decent burger, get a table so you do not get caught in between a cat fight at the bar!

Do not go here at anything! The service is HORRIBLE! No one came by to ask my husband if he wanted a drink refill. And the same goes for wanted more of their "bottomless steak fries".

My visit here was actually really pleasant. We got an end booth in the bar area, it was a little awkward as the table kind of juts out into the walkway, but overall, a good experience. Our server was attentive and refilled our drinks without asking and he wasn't obtrusive or overbearing. We ordered the boneless chicken wings, fish and chips, and the BBQ burger. The wings came on a bed of potato chips and was generously covered in Buffalo sauce. The wings were crispy, tender, and spicy. The fish and chips were also crispy and tender. Surprisingly, they were not overly greasy and the fries weren't soggy. The burger is very messy, but good. If you're like me, you would need some BBQ sauce on the side to make the burger that much better. Overall, our experience at the local Red Robin was one of the best out of all the chains in the area. This could just be dumb luck, and we showed up on a good night, but we've not had any problems with this chain anywhere else and the food was better than most.

I went here to pick up food without reading Yelp reviews and in particular, reviews by my esteemed friends, whose wisdom I've come to appreciate over the last few years. My mistake! The Chicken Cesar wrap had too much dressing inside. The fries were fresh when we got them but turned stale really quick. They were not seasoned, not even salted, which is fine by me. I liked the fried Cod. I received 4 pieces that were fried well except for one piece that was a bit raw. The tarter sauce was delicious even though it was served at room temperature. That wasn't the worst though. The worse aspect of all the food was the French onion soup! Not only did they forget packing the focaccia bread it comes with, but this bowl of Red Robbins French onion soup was the worst tasting French onion soup I ever had in my life! All it was was a nasty bowl of bland beef broth with added water. It had no flavor! It was disgusting! I thought they forgot the onions until I noticed they were sunken at the bottom. I had to stir the soup to see the onions. The 'cheese' was a small mass of bubble gum lost in the murky water of the broth. It was awful. The whole thing was extremely watery that it was splishing and splashing in the container the whole way home. After a couple spoons, I just poured it down the sink. I could've easily flushed it down the toilet, too, because it was basically just water. I don't know how this place stays in business. In the least, it should be a fast food restaurant and not a sit-down establishment. I can't believe they actually have waiters serving this crap. All in all, the food I got was not worth $30!!!

This Dulles location has really gone downhill fast. I do order carry out on a regular basis. The product I order has ingredients that have been replaced/downgraded and there is less than before. I can say their burgers are not that great either. In addition to the food, the staff has been rude in taking my order and it is not appreciated. Once I waited for my food pickup at the bar which is where the pickup is, the server was collecting dirty glasses while I stood there for a good period of time waiting. I have spoken to others who feel the same way about this place. The place is downright empty now and used to be packed. The Greene Turtle next door offers children eat free and also they are packed. They will put Red Robin out of business and their burgers are better.

Welcome to HELL. Red Robins alone are bad enough because they're hell holes filled with rednecks and screaming children and very meh food. But this one and the whole experience was just horrible. Before you ask why I went, well, it wasn't my choice. Was there with family who has kids. Of course, the kids always order cheese pizza so why the $%!@ we don't go to a pizza place instead of a subpar burger joint is beyond me. So what was especially horrendous about this RR? For starters, it's a special kind of deafening. Forget the wide open echo chamber of brats who sound like they're in the deepest levels of the underworld's torture chambers. The booth setup had us right with our backs to the bar, and the damn phone at the bar was ringing VERY loud the entire time, and no one would answer it. The server, he was very bad at his job and the most annoying person I've probably ever met to boot. He whined about not getting enough sleep. He tried out his standup comedy routine that wasn't funny at all. He asked awkward questions. And he screwed up orders, forgot things that people asked for, you name it. Guy really needs to try something else... like maybe the mental hospital. And then there's the food. RR is usually not great anyway. It touts itself as a burger joint but I can rarely bring myself to order them because they're so bad. Like little frozen patty pucks. (Seriously, there are several Five Guys' within a few miles, GO GET A REAL BURGER IF YOU WANT A BURGER, YO.) So then I'm led to try one of the non-burger items on the menu, which is probably asking too much of a burger joint but hey, THEY PUT THEM ON THE MENU. Blech. The food was bad, though. I didn't find one thing on the menu that I wanted. I used to order the nachos here as an entree, but they took those off the menu (much like they replaced the unlimited mediocre fry baskets with tiny little fry cones not too long ago). I settled on "Clucks and Riblets." The 'clucks' were OK -- your standard deep-fried breaded chicken strips you can get anywhere. The riblets, however, were disgusting. You know how baby back ribs look after you finish eating the meat off them? Break one bone in half with its tiny pieces of meat remnant left on it, and you have yourself one of RR's riblets. They were dry, hell, they didn't even bother putting the barbecue sauce drizzle on all of them, but the meat was tough, dry and required a microscope to locate. Everyone who got a burger had a cold burger. The patties were cooked through, but they must've been sitting out for a LONG time. Which makes sense, because it took a long time to get our food. Start to finish, dinner took almost two hours. Oh yeah, and that fruit salad. I'll post a pic of it. I just had to take one because it was so disgusting that no one at the table who got that as a side would even touch it. It looks like the apple slices might have been done in the same day, but the other fruits *definitely* came from a can filled with high fructose corn syrup. Just a big soupy, mushy, overly sweet mess. PUKE. RR is loud. It's annoying. The service sucks. The food sucks. It has an identity crisis somewhere between a kiddie cartoon episode and a boozy R-rated film. Where else can you watch Boomerang, play with a man in a giant bird mascot suit, eat a kids meal and get wasted? STAY AWAY. KICK AND SCREAM.

Slow service when place is not full. Many tables are not bused making the dining room feel cluttered and dirty. Not a great environment to have dinner.

Went there 5pm on New Years eve with our 19 month old son after shopping at the Dulles Town Center. We waited over 10 minutes for them to bring our son's milk (after asking a server from a different table). My husband's burger came out wrong. They took it, along with the onion rings back and returned minutes later with a new burger. The order was wrong again. My husband sent it back again and the last burger was correct except he ordered it with pink in the middle and it was well done. Since we had been there well over 30 minutes, he ate it. Each time, the waiter attempted to put the mistake off on the kitchen although it's supposed to be a shared responsibility. Once he commented, "This just isn't my day." Really? The manager who delivered the final burger didn't apologize! Worse, the check was for the full amount! My husband told the server that he shouldn't be charged the full amount they still charged him for the onion rings! My meal was delicious but overshadowed by the awful customer service.

Went today for lunch. Not overly crowded as we got a table (booth) right away. The service was a bit slow, but we were not in a hurry. The server was very pleasant although she did disappear for long periods. I was surprised when the table next to us was served food before us as we had ordered before them. Again, not in a hurry so I did not bring it up. My friend had a bacon cheeseburger without the bun - we thought it would be like a lettuce wrap, but it was literally the head of lettuce cut in half with the cheeseburger and toppings in the middle. It was very tasty. I had the chicken tortilla soup and blta croissant. Both were very good. I brought half the sandwich home and had it for dinner. Overall, not a bad lunch and it was quiet enough for conversation.

Red Robin is always a great standby. It is yummy, and predictable. This place is no different then any other Red Robin across the US. I really wish that they would enforce the "Over 21" policy in the bar area. I have no kids, so it would be nice to have a spot in the restaurant that I could sit and not be surrounded by screaming kids. Not that I don't like kids, just would be nice to have the option.

We have been to this location and others many times with various experiences ranging from poor to great. This particular time was as good as it gets. Our server, Alvin, was outstanding. He made sure our drinks never went dry, brought us extra sauces and made sure we had everything we wanted. Everyone's food was great as well. I had fish and chips this time and it was perfectly prepared. When we asked for more fries, Alvin made sure to get us fresh one's right out of the fryer. Highly recommended.

3 stars overall ONLY because the food was and is really good and managed to salvage an otherwise crappy dinner experience... My review is from a visit about 3 weeks ago which I neglected to fully finish/post. 1) 2 adults for dinner on a thurs night and they automatically seat us in the bar at a high table in an already crowded bar area that is so loud I can't hear my husband across the table. We are seated right next to a lower table of 3 people that one guy is talking so loudly to his tablemates it is as if we are in their conversations because I didn't miss a word about his entire company and the testing going on as well as prepartions for exams and such and expected results. His tablemates had smaller voices so I only heard half their responses. 2) Waitress took a crazy long time to come by and greet us, so long that we were ready to order our food when she also took our drink order. 3) Some other person came by while going to another table and dropped off a plate with napkins, forks, knives on it on our table. No talking to us/no greeting, just placed it on the table as he walked by. (Kind of weird.) 4) Our food shows up and it's good. Price point of a $10.00 burger with unlimited fries is ok with me. ( I guess I am cheap and don't think a $14-$15 burger is going to be worth the extra dough though and stear clear of those.) Unfortunately, waitress didn't come back to check on us for a long time (we were both almost done) and drinks had been drained for a good long time and hubs wanted refills on the unlimited broccoli - he's so healthy. It took forever for the server to return and ask about those as I said before we were both practically done with our meal and our sides were long finished. We still ordered them and it took a long time for the refills to arrive. All in all, the food salvaged the rating, the setting was horrible (too loud in bar area), the food was good, the service needs some serious work. Greet your customers in a reasonable amount of time and don't forget to check in on them about refills and to ensure everything is ok.

We have been to Red Robin Restaurants in Ca, Virginia and Florida. This Virginia establishment has great tasting food and the best server we have ever had anywhere! BETH is so entertaining, attentive and informative. We had such a fun time and can't wait to relocate here this year to come back again. Ask for the Chunky Monkey Shake! And if you aren't driving, ask for the very special Mudslide!! I had the Fish and Chips that were perfect! Proper and authentic taste with Malt Vinegar and/or Tarter Sauce. The Chicken Burger was hot and very good. The California Burger with guacamole was excellent. Fries, as usual, were endless and also perfect. You have to come here!

I came here a couple of weeks ago b/c I was craving a good burger and fries. There was something about this place. Everything was sticky. The chairs, the table, the menu, I just felt uncomfortable. Maybe it was because it's kind of an open kitchen and there is grease and oil in the air but I just felt dirty. Fries were good and burger was decent except for one thing, the bread. I HATE how the bread is never toasted or warm. It's cold or cool. For someone who puts so much effort to making gourmet burgers, you don't toast your buns? weird.

Something's happened with this restaurant, and it ain't good. Redecorating a restaurant shouldn't affect the Service and overall experience, but something has happened since that took place. Pretty much the whole staff was replaced, and the new Servers are not the greatest. Drinks, ketchup, napkins, silverware, and even an appetizer, are typically overlooked and it seems to be the norm. Every visit, something goes wrong. We came in this evening to an empty host area-no host, no other customer's waiting, the front was completely empty. After standing around for a few minutes we are greeted and asked how many in the party. I said 1 adult and 3 kids and the host looks at the dining area, then at her map, and then at me and says its going to be about a 20 minute wait. Wait what? I looked at about 5 empty tables and then back to the half empty parking lot and then chuckled at the host, asking if she is serious, there's no one here, how can there be a 20 minute wait?! She leaves to go assess the dining room and comes back and the wait went down to 5 minutes. Why is there a wait when the restaurant is half empty? I'll tell ya why, because the place is just going down hill. There must be management change or policy change that was put into effect and its chased any Server with a brain or half a mind to run far away. The vibe is just awful. No music, No sound to the TV's, just the sound of deep fryer alarms and glasses breaking. And it seems like no one in there has ever heard of Pre bussing a table, not even the Managers walking around with empty hands care to stop and pick up some empty plates. We'll start going to Green Turtle more often from now on.

Every time I come here (3 times now) there are at least four messy tables that have not been cleaned off (and won't be until your food is finally served). The service is really slow. The food isn't bad. Basically, if you come here with expectation of a messy atmosphere with slow service and decent burgers then you won't be disappointed.

Food was good not great. I never been before and heard about the bottomless fries but they were just ok. Steak fries that were seasoned. Cooked well but nothing super (I'm a french fry fan too). The burger was ok and I did like the toppings (fried battered jalapenos). BF got a BLT looking for something lighter and there are not a lot of light options. Server was friendly and had our drinks refilled quickly. I enjoyed the atmosphere which was open and had a few tvs with sports. Mostly families and couples. They also have a 21 and over section with a few rows of bar type seating facing tvs.

I've been here a few times since moving into the area, and have issues with this Red Robin... though it's not technically Red Robin's fault. The issue? It's overly loud due to kids screaming, crying and vying for attention (Parents: NO! STOP! BAD!). I don't want to drop stars on a restaurant because of this, but I find it makes it REALLY hard to enjoy coming here. It's been pretty consistent every single time I've been here, and this makes me a sad panda. The food is great, reliable and pretty tasty. Red Robin's grub is above average for burgers, and I'm a definite fan of the Royal Red (with a fried egg!) and the Chili "I will wear this on my shirt with shame" Chili burger. Burger-wise, I don't necessarily think they Red Robin holds a candle to their competition (a certain restaurant involving a quintet of gentlemen). It's pretty good though, so no real complaints on that end. All in all, it's a decent place for a burger (if you can stand the potential screaming/yelling kids). I'd give it 4 stars if it weren't for that, but the atmosphere really brings it down for me.

Arrived here with my boyfriend and 5 year old after shopping in the Dulles towncenter. It was about 2 pm on a Sunday afternoon. When we walked in, the place was fairly busy. The waiting area was full. We walked up to the podium, where a young man was slouched with his elbows on the podium, face down looking at the tablet. I had to greet him, when it should have been the other way around. I told him we had a party of 3, he stated there would be a 20 minute wait, and took my name down. We stood in the waiting area, which was filthy. One bench had balled up napkins on it. I looked up and there was a huge sagging bubble in the ceiling, about 2 feet in diameter. Next to it was a spot in the ceiling where the paint had fallen off. About 10 minutes into our wait, a female employee came out and announced to everyone that they would be closing the kitchen, and that she apologized that we had waited so long and that she understood if we wanted to go somewhere else. I'm not sure what happened, but we left, along with everyone else that was in the waiting area.

I haven't been here in a while and didn't realize they remodeled. It looks nice. For a Friday night in NoVA, I was surprised I got sat immediately. I ordered my regular - the Royal Red Robin burger. Husband got a new burger. Both with "alterations" (no tomatoes for me, no lettuce for Husband). They came out just the way we ordered. The bathrooms are clean, but awkwardly small.

This is my second time here, First time Jeremy took care amazing care of us. Dinner time he recommended a awesome shake that I've been getting ever since. I used the plink app which brought me to red robin basically gives you a little cash back =). I came here for lunch today and Dan took care of us. We get similar things every time. Unlimited sides is pretty amazing. We ordered a shake to share and he split it into 2 glasses with whipped cream and sprinkles and extra oreo cookies. Definitely very good price for value. The chicken was very juicy. The burgers are awesome as well! Never ending steak fries! Will definitely be back and they also have a full bar!

I keep trying... The Red Robin's in CA are great, maybe that was just because it was over 10 years ago and they may have been new. This location just doesn't feel clean at all. The tables, the floor, the seats. I don't know if it's age, or just a layer of grime all over everything. ugh! The bar, I mean the area w/ a bar and the TVs... they do not allow anyone under the age of 21.. well that's insane! it's not a club, it's not even a bar.. it's an area of a restaurant. Most other chains that I know of allow kids to sit in the booths w/ their parents. restrooms were not clean either. And when I say not clean, I mean, toilet paper on the floor and overall, a good cleaning would make a huge difference. The fact that little if any attention, priority is placed on cleanliness really bothers me. Customer service is at this location. We stopped in because it was close to the mall and my teenager was driving and this was on the right side of the road during the holiday shopping rush, so convenience was key.

I enjoy the food here. But after everytime I eat here I feel really sick. The last time I went I felt almost as if I was about to just keel over right there. I wish this wasn't true because the food actually tastes really good, but I will never be coming back.

Husband and I went to RR last night. We've been here numerous times and each time the food comes out fast and hot. The difference last night was that they are redecorating. They have re-done the bar area with high-top tables and it is more "adult". We were seated here and noticed that while we were here, they proceeded to seat other child-free adults here also. It is a welcome, refreshing change from the other side. Good lord! I went to the restroom and the mass of screaming children, running everywhere, ugh!. It was so nice on the "adult" side. When I went back to my table, I noticed that you can't even hear all that offensive screaming. What a nice change! Thanks RR

My son treated me to Red Robin on Mother's Day. We arrived relatively early. The host sat us right away. Dax was our server. We've been to Red Robin in California and it is consistently good for the go to burger place. However this visit was extra nice. Dax anticipated our needs by bringing us fries while we waited for our burgers. He kept our drinks full and introduced us to the campfire sauce that we never had before. He had a great attitude and provided great overall service. Greatly appreciated!!

Initial bad sign was that entire restaurant stank like fish. Huh? I thought this was a burger joint... Service was okay, the burger was underseasoned and unremarkable, and what's with putting relish AND pickles AND mayo on a cheeseburger? I subbed broccoli for the fries, and considering they'd give you endless fries, I was disappointed with the skimpy amount of veggies I got. They do get an extra star for having gluten-free buns! (It's a buck extra.)

My husband and I ate here yesterday for lunch. We were seated at 11:55am. We were greeted right away by our server and our order was taken. Our appetizer came out within 10 minutes of ordering. We finished our appetizer and proceeded to wait about 35 minutes before we had a manager come over and tell us that their ticket system in the kitchen didn't get our order in and that our burgers were just now being cooked. About 15 minutes later our food came out about 12:50. Meanwhile, every single table around us received their food on time (even those who came in 15-20 minutes behind us and ended up finishing before we even received our food). Clearly there was no problem with their ticket system for all of the other customers seated around us. And clearly there was no issue with our appetizer (which was on the same ticket as our order) coming out on time. It was obvious our order just wasn't put in. Otherwise the kitchen would have been backed up on everyone's order, not just ours. Once we received our food, we had to ask for sides that we had requested when we placed the order and waited for those to come out. The food itself was extremely average. Not great. When we got our bill we got the "manager special" which was $2.00 off of our total bill of $35. To be honest, I thought this was pretty poor considering we waited nearly a hour to be served 2 simple burgers. Overall, we won't be coming back. There are many other "burger joints" that give quality service to their customers in Loudoun County.

A couple of years ago Red Robin would have gotten 3 stars from me. Now? I'm being generous with 2 stars. All I can imagine is that when they bought those little metal rings to put your fries in (so they can actually give you less but look 'fancy') they had to cut back somewhere else, and the solution is to serve microwaved (and/or super dried out from sitting under the heat lamp for 20 minutes) chicken and soggy buns? So utterly and completely gross. It was never that great, now it's not even close to good.

Love this place! One of my go-to's to get a great burger! Service is always fast and friendly and the food rocks!

Regularly has terrible service resulting in the following: 45 minute waits on food arriving to table, food coming out incorrect AND undercooked, sodas that never get refilled, plates that never get bused, forget ordering milkshakes they always arrive at the end of the meal, spilled food on floor is never cleaned. I am not exaggerating, this red robin is not a place to visit. Also I complained to their corporate head quarters and was assured I would hear from the manager within 2 days and, no surprise, that never happened.

Food is decent, but service is horrible! Always slow! But it still seems like the waiters are busting their butts to get their tables served so I don't know where the issues lie . Every time we come here tables are dirty and not cleaned up from the previous customers.

So it's Valentines Day which means we were at Red Robin tonight. Might sound odd, but my son - who turned 7 today - was talked out of going to Chuck E Cheese or Pizza Go Round for his birthday dinner and opted for someplace "fancy" this year - Red Robin. And there you have it. I had the salad, it was good. The honey mustard is the bomb. The adults all seemed to be satisfied with the food. My son, however, complained about the Grilled Cheese being "sour" (I tasted it - it's sort of bland, definitely made me look like a gourmet comparatively). So we had to re-order. He was satisfied with the chicken strips meal but they did not offer to remove the grilled cheese from our bill - and considering there were 4 adults and 2 kids, I thought they should have. My daughter ordered an appetizer of ribs but she found them spicy, so my adult son and husband split them and we ordered her a burger which made her content. The service was good. Everyone was friendly. It's clean. It's priced reasonably. I miss the "Mixology" drinks they used to have (non-alcoholic and very fun mixed drinks). Kids loved them but I am guessing they're off the menu because they were pricey and if every family is like mine, we simply didn't let the kids order the "expensive" drinks very often. Listen, compared to Chuck E Cheese or Pizza Go Round this was a big score. In the end everyone was happy and no one had a headache. Oh - and my son was too full to eat much of his "FREE" Birthday Sunday although he definitely enjoyed receiving it. PS - if you are thinking that Valentines Day is a cool birthday, think again... well, if you're the mom. The day after he was born it hit me: I will never have another Valentines Day again. Seven years later I can attest that it's true. But it's worth it... when you tell my Devon that he is sweet he always says "I was born on Valentines Day, what did you expect?" My little Cupid.

This is not a very clean Red Robin. The table smelled a tad like mildew, balled up paper towels all over the bathroom floor, and dust particles flew around my food. The bathroom stalls and booths are small. The burgers were good though, but this isnt a place id return to.

Had been years since I last ate at this chain but was craving a burger so decided to check it out. Sat at a table near the bar and I was pleasantly surprised! The specialty burger I had was great, cooked just how I like (pink in the center) and was juicy and full of flavor. Got onion rings on the side that were nice and crisp. I will definitely go back when the burger craving returns!

OK, so as a general disclaimer, I like red robin. JUST NOT THIS ONE. This is the 2nd time I've been to this location where the service is AWFUL. For example, last night, which was a Wednesday night, around 8pm, my friend and I go to Red Robin for a quick dinner. We wait up front for 5 min for someone to come seat us. We are eventually seated. We waited for 15 min.... watched all the servers standing in the server area chatting and laughing...and not taking our drink order. We left and went to Longhorn nearby and had a wonderful experience.

This is the first time I have ever been disappointed at red robin. The fries tasted old. The wings were way too salty. But the royal red robin burger was perfect. We had Robert as our waiter and we got such poor service my husband started asking other servers for basic things that we needed. We waited 15 minutes while standing up to get our check. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. It may be awhile before we go back.

My boyfriend and I used to go to Red Robin regularly. It has gone so downhill and is so disappointing. The jalapeno coins were way greasy and hard to eat. We waited for over 40 minutes for our food. When it came, the chicken in my wrap was cold. My boyfriend's order was a chicken salad. It came with cheese, which he said to leave out and the chicken felt like it had just come out of the fridge. When we brought this up, he was given a new salad, but nothing else was done to make up for the bad service and lengthy wait (when you are on a time crunch for lunch, it is a big deal). The biggest issue I have with Red Robin now is that about 2 hours after the meal, we were both sick. It will be a VERY long time before we go back!

Jeremy the Bartender and Brittany the server are the best waitstaff ever!!! They are so friendly and AWESOME!

I've been to this Red Robin about three or four times. The food has been good each time. No complaints there. They've got good, huge, hearty burgers and other delicious sides like onion rings and spinach and artichoke dip. The service has been okay. Sometimes it's really loud in there - a lot of families with little kids. I did get the best service sitting at the bar, but it was also really cold outside, and every time the door opened the temperature dropped. Check it out sometime.

I'd give them 0 if I could. Poor and VERY slow service, they mess up orders (both times we went here) and we had to stack the plates on the counter to get them off our table even though the waitstaff all looked at the dishes I had stacked up for easy removal sat on the edge of our table for 15 minutes. The food is decent but the service (or lack there of) was atrocious. The manager ended up comping the entire meal because of it. I explained to the manager that we didn't 'need' the food comped and that we loved the RR back home but the service was inexcusable. He said he knew the service was bad and he that he had seen us sitting there needing the waitress or SOMEone a few times and they all walked by. We had ordered burgers and fries...not anything complicated or large. The children screaming and carrying on made the entire experience worse. It's like the 'parents' let them run wild some some zoo monkeys in heat, throwing food on the floor and making huge messes. We gave it a try twice and we won't be back unless it's carry out ONLY.

Good burgers. Decent sized bar area. Fun atmo for kids. But 2.79 for a coke? You need to check yourself, Red Robin!!!

Every time I've sat in the restaurant I've had bad service. However, every time I've sat in the bar I've had good service. So there you have it. Sit in the bar, grab a burger or chicken sandwich...You heard me I've been eating chicken, at a burger place! The Teriyaki chicken sandwich is pretty darn amazing actually. We've also gotten to-go orders several times and had prompt service from the bar. Very helpful bartenders and they're very willing to go the extra mile if you need some extra sauce or seasoning for your fries. If you eat in and get a burger you can get some fries to start off instead of blowing $$$ on an app, get some interesting dipping sauce while you're at it. The restaurant area is SUPER noisy, there's nothing to block the sound from other people and if it's crowded you're basically shouting at the other people you sit with.

I went for lunch. Great service. The burger was on point. I ordered it medium and it was perfect. The food came out quickly. I'll be back.

Always enjoy a trip to Red Robin. The food is pretty consistent and tastes good, they appear to be trying to upscale a bit. The have new sauces... but one, the Campfire I think, was terrible. The Thai one was decent. The waitress we had was very nice and service was quick. I tried the Prime Rib Au Jus aka French Dip, which was alright, nice Au Jus was good, but the bread was so so.

First off, I have to start by saying that I have 3 young kids. Mine aren't the ones screaming, but they do move around a lot. Also, enough food to feed a small country always ends up on the floor. We have been there as a family once for lunch and everything was great. The waitress was polite, prompt, and the food was excellent. The steak fries were good and when I found out that they were all you could eat, they went from good to great! I looked around a saw middle aged couples without kids eating there and I thought to myself: "Are you crazy?" RR is an upscale place for families with kids. If I was single or on a date night with my wife we would not be going to RR.

I'm reviewing this as a mom with a toddler. We had a great time today. Server was really nice, food was pretty tasty, and place was clean. I don't think I'd call it a "gourmet burger place"; that being said, the food was really tasty (I had the mushroom burger, husband had a salad which had delicious fried jalapenos). We'll go back when we have the baby.

3 stars?!? WHAT?! I patron a Red Robin location at least once a month and get the same thing every time: Guacamole Bacon Burger cooked to medium with onion strings on it. Absolutely delicious. Bottomless fries with honey mustard on the side completes the meal. This is my go-to place whenever I crave a gourmet burger. For $10 a burger, you can't beat it.

Like Red Robin but like others have touched on, the service at this location is ok. Been to this location many times and they seem to be slow about seating people. Not sure why there's a delay but the bar is a nice alternative. Red Robin needs to cut back on the salt and Fuddruckers needs a little less pepper.

Five stars to waitress Maria. We've been lucky enough to sit in her section several times; now we specifically ask for her when we go in. Efficient, pleasant, friendly, and funny. She makes sure our food is 100% right, 100% of the time. Ask for your fries cooked extra-crispy; you won't regret it!

Great service and friendly staff, I've had the pastas there It Probably wasn't my day to eat, didnt like it, maybe to much onions ? but my friend had the royal burger and he loved it..

I like Red Robin, but the one in Ashburn is better. This one is always messing up my order, and the staff isn't very friendly in my opinion. Last time I picked up a to-go order my food was crammed into the to-go box. Needless to say I haven't been back.

I like Red Robin, but this particular location, has poor service. Last time I stopped in, we waited 10 minutes to be seated, and finally left. OH...should I mention that the restaurant was nearly empty and I was 2nd in line to be seated. Travel a bit further and go to a different location if you are feeling like Red Robin.

Good burgers and ENDLESS STEAK FRIES! Seriously!

Standard Red Robin- Good place for a big, greasy burger and bottomless fries. Try the bottomless garlic fries! Mmmmmm... Service here is pretty good, they get the orders right, even when you revise your order (substitutions, taking things away, etc). The downside is that this place is kid friendly, and more than likely you'll be sitting by one. Or two. Or five...

**3.5 Stars** First of all, don't laugh at me for reviewing this or any other Red Robin. Yes, I love a really great tasting burger and still think that Ray's Hellburger is THE definition of a perfect burger in the DMV area. So why would I visit this place? Well my friend, why don't you sign up on their website to get a FREE burger on your birthday?!?! Hell yeah! That's what I'm talking about!! So the burgers are okay, and they may have a ton of cool ass toppings you can pile on your burger but they're just "meh". Now what motivated me to write this review is that fact that although they have "meh" burgers, the service was friggin AWESOME! The best way to judge good service and the reaction of your server is when you arrive at any restaurant and flash your free/discounted food item coupon thingy. I did this on purpose when I arrived to this Red Robin and kind of expected to be snubbed or to be ignored for other paying customers. This was not the case. I sat at the bar (as I was dining alone) and decided I would order myself a frosty cold brew. The bartender was a young kid who looked like he may be barely over 21 and he greeted me with a boisterous "Welcome to Red Robin!". After returning his hello with a similarly enthusiastic "Thank you", I showed him my birthday burger coupon and asked him, "is it okay if I use this at the bar?" to which he happily said, "Of course sir! By the way, Happy Birthday!". Sir? Hmmph! Kidding... Anyway, I ordered a beer and scanned the burger menu. Red Robin has a dizzying variety of burgers topped with whatever you can imagine: - Guac - Tortilla strips - Pineapple - Bacon - all sorts of different cheeses - too many to list here The bartender handed my beer and I still hadn't found anything I really wanted. Most of the burger options looked good, but I wasn't in the mood for read meat and the chicken sandwich options just didn't have the same cool toppings as the burgers. I called the bartender over and asked him, "Can I order any one of your signature burgers and substitute the burger patty for a chicken breast?" "Sure! That's no problem! Which burger would you like?" I ordered the Guacamole Bacon Burger which came with "Freshly prepared, zesty guacamole and applewood smoked bacon with melted Swiss cheese, onions, crisp lettuce, tomatoes & mayo" but had him substitute the burger for a chicken breast and said, "hold the bacon and mayo son". For those of you that don't know this, all burgers come with a never ending (basically an ALL YOU CAN EAT) serving of french fries. This is mondo dangerous for a french fries loving fat boy such as myself.... As I waited, the bartender brought over a basket of fries for me to enjoy with my cold pint of cerveza. Oh man, carb heaven! I polished off the basket of fries by the time my chicken sandwich arrived. The chicken sandwich was pretty big and was served on a nice big bed of more french fries. The chicken was perfectly cooked and tender and the topping were EXACTLY what I wanted. The bartender kept on coming over to check up on me and probably sensed my love affair with fries, that without asking kept me well supplied with piping hot servings of fries. After I finished up my food, I thanked him and asked for the bill. Bringing the bill over he once again wished me a happy birthday and thanked me for stopping by. Funny to see that the only thing charged on my bill was my single pint of beer. I made sure to tip him generously as if I had paid for the entire full price meal. This was THE best big chain service I had ever experienced and it passed my free food coupon test. Kudos to the management for hiring this bartender and I really wish other places had staff that loved their job and enthusiastically worked to make their customers happy. Way to go Red Robin!!

Good service and good food. Also they get you your dinner rather quickly. I am also quite a fan of their milk shakes. I have never had any problems here and while i might not stop by very often, i always enjoy myself.

Food was ok - a bit overpriced for what you get. Service is bad. Waited over 15 minutes to have someone come to our table after being seated. Treatment was like being in a cut-rate truck stop - which I'm ok with if I'm only paying a few bucks for the food. Asked for the manager, spoke w/ him regarding the service, he did half my bill but still feel that there is better out there for the $$$ I would recommend going elsewhere...

Bad. Bad. Bad. Bad slow service. Took an hour to get food. Burgers were cold. Bathrooms disgusting. They weren't that busy either.

Haha, Patrick O. has his review right on the money. You might want to warn your doctor before-hand for your next physical that you had lunch or dinner at Red Robin so s/he doesn't pass out when taking your blood pressure. I had lunch here with some old co-workers, and it was awesome to catch up. It was even -more- awesome to catch up over juicy burgers done up the way you want them, and a Bottomless Basket of Fries (yes, it's totally capitalized, because they're that awesome). So two of my old compatriots are on psycho restrictive lose-hundreds-of-pounds-in-under-a-year diets, and they gave our waiter (ding!) ridiculously complex orders (no bun, wrapped in lettuce, extra slice of cheese, no croutons, blue cheese on the side, you get the picture). All of the burgers came out right. Impressive. Okay. Bottomless Basket of Fries. And we're not talking dinky shoestring fries. These things are the good old hearty steak fries, starchy and mushy on the inside, crispy and crunchy on the outside. They may not be as artery-clogging as Five Guys fries, but they're still pretty darn tasty. Mmm. Gourmet burgers. Unlimited fries. Good service (albeit not all that speedy). Quality. One and three-quarters thumbs up.

My daughter wanted to go for her birthday... Have you ever had a waiter tell you "I can't get anybody to sing"? Try explaining THAT to your four-year-old.

We go here a lot because the place is kid friendly and the burgers are good. I sometimes will get that burger with the pineapple on it and pretend I'm Samuel L Jackson in Reservoir Dogs. My jheri curl makes my mental transition to the character of Julius simple.

I've eaten here a few times for lunch, as I work across the street. The food is consistent with the price that you pay, and the service is hit or miss.

Red Robin is that burger joint that you can rely on if you're looking for something greasy to eat one night for dinner. The place is crazy busy with families with small little kids, so don't go here if you can't stand screaming babies or little kids running around the place. Also, if you're a vegetarian, this place has a pretty good veggie burger. And oh! Their chocolate shake was deeelicious.

This was my first Red Robin experience! I had the avocado bacon burger. Holy CRAP! I ate the entire thing! It was the BEST burger I've ever had. This location was great with our big group at 9:30pm even though I'm sure they were close to closing. I'd TOTALLY return to this or ANY Red Robin!

The service here was great, but the burger and fries were very average.

Love love love RR even though it is a chain. I always sit in the bar area so as to avoid the slew of kids that pervade the rest of the establishment. The service has always been fast and friendly and I'm hooked on the burgers and endless fries. One request, bring back the pot roast burger...pretty please with sugar on top?
(4)
Sal M.
Everything here was good, including the friendly service. But the food I ate: fried jalapenos appetizer ($2.99), pub burger ($9.49), and peach ice tea ($2.79) did not really stick out as exceptional. I would go back, but not sure I like the value of spending $16 for a burger meal.

Avoid fish & chips. Fish & fry oil is not fresh. Left me queasy. Fries are unlimited and taste like styrofoam. No amount of salt can save them. Treat this place as an up-scale Chucky Cheese.

My friends invited me to try and eat at Red Robin. I was so amazed with their building. The exterior design is so cool. They really put alot of efforts making it that nice. When we entered the place, the interiors were also great just like the outside of the place. The service is good. The moment our food arrived, all I can say is wow! everything looks so delicious. So we leave the place with a very full and satisfied stomach. I will bring my family here next time I visit.

Friends and family went this past Friday night to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday. It took forever for the food to come and once it did we received minimal service thereafter. This with even speaking with another waitress as our's was no where to be found. Then I finally spoke with the manager who gave lame excuses and STILL received NO service. NO checking to see if we needed anything or if everything was okay, NO water refills, and NO clean up unless a result of our pleading for service. The food was mediocre at best and over priced. It has put a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended) and I will think twice about going back.

Start saving for the angioplasty, and be prepared to go to confession. This place is just divine. Endless fries, burgers that seem monstrous, in fact they even have a burger called the monster ! For me, my cholesterol caper starts with the Royal Red Robin Burger, dear god, a juicy beef patty, with cheese, 4 strips of bacon, and to top it all off, a fried egg ! One bite brings bliss to your taste buds, two bites and the guilt sets in. Several bites later, you've just accepted that the faith of the universe depends on you finishing this burger, even if that's a self sacrifice of an extra one or two belt notches. Go, eat, put on weight, and savor. Did I mention they have endless fries? :-D

**3.5 Stars** Call me crazy. I like the place, despite it being the good-food equivalent of Chuck-E-Cheese's (without the scary mouse and all the midway games). So in other words, there are lots of kids there, and for years it seemed we were the only people there without them. Now we fit in, and I still love it. The spinach dip and onion rings are great appetizers -- the spin dip comes with pita AND veggies, which I really appreciate. And the smoky ranch dip that comes with the onion rings is delicious. My two favorite burgers are the Whiskey River BBQ and the Banzai Burger - great, interesting flavor combinations that actually taste good, even if you can only get your patty cooked "pink" or "no pink." Seriously, I'm a rare-beef girl, and I don't even care (I actually get veggie patties most of the time) - the toppings make the meal. The fries are free refills, but honestly I've never even thought about asking for more. The service is hit-or-miss...I've learned that if you don't expect too much you won't be disappointed: this place isn't fine dining, folks. As long as the food is right and my glass is kept mostly full, I'm happy. And by the way, the shakes are awesome...in the winter they have a gingerbread shake that actually makes me look forward to cold weather!!!

I have eaten here twice and both times have been really good. You can customize and add whatever you like to the sandwiches. It is a very kid friendly restaurant with balloons and all. I also do think it can be pricey...$25 two sandwiches and ice tea. But none the less good food!

(1)Ryan F.
(3)Damien S.
If you want a good burger, lots of variety, quick and good. Nice price point, I like to bring the family, as I have small children and its not a big deal that the kids are loud. That being said its not a quite place.
(4)Mike F.
(4)Richard Z.

(2)Jermoil A.

Service was terrible. Waitress never came by to check on us. The food was cold. Never coming back

Whoever would pay ten bucks for one of these burgers is out of their minds.

Great service at bar with Shawn Food as ordered in and out in timely manner come here at least once a week. Best re hamburgers in town

(1)Christina R.
Every time I come here (3 times now) there are at least four messy tables that have not been cleaned off (and won't be until your food is finally served). The service is really slow. The food isn't bad. Basically, if you come here with expectation of a messy atmosphere with slow service and decent burgers then you won't be disappointed.
(3)Thuy V.

(2)Garrett H.
I enjoy the food here. But after everytime I eat here I feel really sick. The last time I went I felt almost as if I was about to just keel over right there. I wish this wasn't true because the food actually tastes really good, but I will never be coming back.
(1)Tizzle J.
Not satisfied!!!!. the service was horrible. I either come on yelp to write about fantastic or horrible reviews. Felt completely disrespected. The food was okay i guess... the experience was socially awkward. everyone but the server gave us service.
(1)Christina M.

(5)Dee B.

(2)Anne M.
(2)Rusty S.
Love this place! One of my go-to's to get a great burger! Service is always fast and friendly and the food rocks!
(5)Autumn W.
(1)Tina R.

(3)Amanda B.
This is not a very clean Red Robin. The table smelled a tad like mildew, balled up paper towels all over the bathroom floor, and dust particles flew around my food. The bathroom stalls and booths are small. The burgers were good though, but this isnt a place id return to.
(2)Dalbir B.
(4)Lindsey P.
(1)Margaret F.
(1)Amie B.

(5)Jake B.
Like Red Robin but like others have touched on, the service at this location is ok. Been to this location many times and they seem to be slow about seating people. Not sure why there's a delay but the bar is a nice alternative. Red Robin needs to cut back on the salt and Fuddruckers needs a little less pepper.
(4)Shannon G.
(5)Tom T.
Great service and friendly staff, I've had the pastas there It Probably wasn't my day to eat, didnt like it, maybe to much onions ? but my friend had the royal burger and he loved it..
(3)Susan L.
We eat here about every Sunday after church. I love their SW Chicken salad and onion straws. The service is always good and being a part of the Red Royalty has a lot of benefits.
(5)Jason D.
I like Red Robin, but the one in Ashburn is better. This one is always messing up my order, and the staff isn't very friendly in my opinion. Last time I picked up a to-go order my food was crammed into the to-go box. Needless to say I haven't been back.
(2)R. W.
(2)Eric B.
Good burgers and ENDLESS STEAK FRIES! Seriously!
(4)Judith L.

(4)Don D.
(2)Chris W.
Bad. Bad.

(1)Mike K.
We go here a lot because the place is kid friendly and the burgers are good. I sometimes will get that burger with the pineapple on it and pretend I'm Samuel L Jackson in Reservoir Dogs. My jheri curl makes my mental transition to the character of Julius simple.
(4)John D.
I've eaten here a few times for lunch, as I work across the street. The food is consistent with the price that you pay, and the service is hit or miss.
(2)Amita R.
(3)Katie B.
(4)Tuan N.
The service here was great, but the burger and fries were very average.
(3)Cole C.
(4)Sal M.
Everything here was good, including the friendly service. But the food I ate: fried jalapenos appetizer ($2.99), pub burger ($9.49), and peach ice tea ($2.79) did not really stick out as exceptional. I would go back, but not sure I like the value of spending $16 for a burger meal.
(3)Philip J.

(5)Alli H.
(3)Chloe Y.
I have eaten here twice and both times have been really good. You can customize and add whatever you like to the sandwiches. It is a very kid friendly restaurant with balloons and all. I also do think it can be pricey...$25 two sandwiches and ice tea. But none the less good food!
(4)reviewer J.
Bad service on busy days. Not so great food on any day.
