The cheesesteaks were good. This was the first time I've ever had "Whiz" on a sandwich. Overall the steaks were good - just a strange setup in the restaurant. The cashier was sitting on a sofa behind the counter when I walked in. There was not one other car in the entire lot. I thought they were closed. Once you get past the strangeness, the steaks were quite tasty.

If you want the best philly in Weber county this is the place. Huge fan of the original.

Best cheesesteak in Weber County/ Ogden area. I didn't see him cook it but I think he throws the bun on top during the last little bit of cooking to get it right. It was piping hot when he brought it out. Jalapeño white sauce and fry sauce come with the combo along with fries and a fountain drink. If it were a perfect world, having some Franks Red Hot available would be awesome. This place stands on its own.

I'm a big fan of this place in Ogden. Many have compared this place to Moochies, but for me its a totally different beast. The owner takes pride in his bread, for it is his own recipe that gets baked locally. So the whole sandwich is a one of a kind. Although, I can compare the meat to Moochies...and I have to say, Chef D's steak meat is very tender and juicy, nothing but ribeye. I also like how he has different variety of steak sandwiches.

Quality over everything. The Philly Cheese steak is the best in Utah. Troy the owner runs this place and has the passion of a trained chef which he is. There is love and care in every meal. Troy uses the best prime rib and sauté his top quality ingredients to perfection. A must go place to eat a back east Philly. THE BEST

Good cheese steak. A pretty close knock of of Moochies in Salt Lake, right down to the jalapeño sauce you get on the side. If you want a good steak sandwich but don't want to drive to salt lake this place will itch your craving. The prices are ok about $10 is what I would expect to pay for a real cheese steak.

I had the Mexi-Philly, available only a couple times a week. Very good. Spicy. Messy ... but a good messy. Going back is a certainty.

The quality of the Philly was really poor with seemingly very poor quality ingredients. It also concerns me when the sandwich is ready seconds after ordering.

Tried there new layton location. The employees were not friendly. We asked if the steak was lean they assured us that it was, my wife's had big pieces of gristle throughout. Are food came out fast but in my opinion they would have more flavor if we had to wait for them to be cooked to order, no way they cooked the steak that fast. The steak had no flavor and they used canned mushrooms with what was said to be ribeye steak. I ordered a meatball, the meatball also had no flavor and we're gritty. The rolls on both we're dry and tasted old. That wasn't the worst though, they we're wrapped it aluminum foil and so messy you had to eat them with a knife and fork. I cut into the foil without noticing and ended up biting on a piece, not pleasant. An employee asked how everything was and we told him about everything, his response was ok that's why we ask and walked away. I do believe you can get a better Philly at golden coral. If you want a good Philly check out Rickles in Kaysville lots better and priced lower also.

Overall, this restaurant was just ok. Good food, good service, however, it cost my husband and I 16 dollars and all we got were two sandwiches. The owner compared his shop to Moochie's in Salt Lake and said that he was out of the park better than moochie's. My Husband and I have been to Moochie's and I am sorry to say that Moochie's is still the best bang for your buck. Moochie's has a bigger sandwich with more meat and a better price. The quality of food at this restaurant was very good and we both did enjoy our sandwiches. We just wish it wasn't so expensive.
