The location is comfortable and historic. The owners obviously take pride. The food was the highlight in this small TN town. Great quality, very flavorful and fresh salmon/crab cakes/fried green tomatoes appetizer. We liked the local beers on tap from the new brewery in town. Our appetizer was superb. We'll be back! Great day date!!

Very nice atmosphere and would recommend for the special occasion. The prices for menu items were reasonable but a little high. But the specials were much more expensive then we would have thought and they didn't provide a price when telling us about the specials. Ceasar salad. .. $6 Amberjack (fish) maybe 8 oz.... $21.... We have never had Amberjack so can't do a direct comparison. ..but in comparison to other fish it seemed overcooked and dry. It was served with a cold corn salsa that was ok New York strip. .12oz..... $35... Would never have ordered a piece of steak if I had known the price. It had good flavor and was cooked correctly but was burnt in spots. Served with home made string fries which were ok. Overall we thought they had a very upper scale (and limited) menu for a part of town that isn't particularly upscale. Good for the special occasion but not a weekly event. Staff was very friendly and attentive as far as checking on us and refilling our glasses

Came for lunch based on Yelp reviews. Glad I did. Really good food and great service. Had the Turkey Brie melt, house salad, fried green tomatoes, and cobbler. Buttermilk Fried green tomatoes were some of the best.

Outstanding gem. Party of six ate lunch here. Food was excellent. On person said the fries were the best they had ever had. Didn't try the fries but had the lunch pot roast special with mashed potatoes/celery root and green beans. Doesn't sound special but was outstanding. Tried the coconut tart for dessert-good not great. The others had the chocolate cobbler and thought it needed more cobbler.

Tullahoma's Best restaurant by far!

Best restaurant in Tullahoma. It's a wonderful fluke that Tullahoma has a French restaurant, but it's very appreciated by the people who can afford it. The tomato soup is nothing short of amazing! Wonderful staff & located inside a beautiful old house.

Emils is a World Class restaurant in a town of 18,000, go figure! But there was a perfect happening and it did. Great variety of "specials" that are always changing plus a few diamonds that are always there. Chef Georges is a low key Chef that is all about the food and not the show. Why try to go to large city, stay at their Inn next door and bring Paris to you in Tennessee! Do yourself a real treat, take some friends and have a magical moment. Jim u

What a gem! Emil's is a delightful find for little ol' Tullahoma--on par with some of the better food i've had in larger cities like PDX. Fresh seafood and friendly staff. the night we dined there, we had delicious, sweet mussels in white wine sauce and the halibut and crawfish special. we finished with a wonderful peach crisp. It's a MUST if you're in the area!

I have been to Tullahoma once before and noticed all the chain restaurants. I am a private pilot and often fly to little towns and look for the local eateries to try the local fare. I am not interested in chain restaurants whatsoever. On this flight to Tullahoma, I had a whopping 3 restaurants that were not "chains" from my YELP search. I had been to one restaurant on my previous visit and there was one Italian and one "American/French" restaurant to consider. Based upon the YELP rating, we chose Emil's Restaurant and made a reservation. The restaurant is located in a Victorian-style home and we were promptly seated in the one of the front parlor rooms. It is quite lovely and romantic as there are only 4 or 5 tables in the room. When I walked in, there were three couples holding hands...I was with my co-pilot, whom I have an interesting relationship with, but not quite at the romantic level! Lilly was our server and made us aware of the daily specials. We chose 2 of the specials; the fillet mignon and the cowboy cut rib-eye. They were superb! The desert was commensurate with the dinner....it was delicious! In total, the ambiance, service, food, wine, desert were exceptional! The experience truly rates a 5-star rating! My next flight to KTHA will include Emil's!

My first time at Emil's after moving to Tullahoma last year. It was truly a superb meal. The service and ambiance are excellent, and the prime rib (medium) was one of the best, if not the best I've eaten. The rice pilaf tinged with rosemary and thyme were excellent, as was the peach/raspberry crisp for dessert. The coffee as well was excellent. Highly recommend. It's well worth the drive if you don't live here. Not extraordinarily pricey, but you get what you pay for.

If you thought Tullahoma only had mediocre chain restaurants, think again! Emil's is everything that the majority of Coffee County eateries are not: clean, delicious, and sophisticated. Why it is even in Coffee County is a mystery to me, but I am thankful that it is. The atmosphere is comfortable and elegent. After visiting other restaurants in the area you will feel like you are dining in a palace! The menu is interesting and simple (only visited for lunch). Love the Arnold Palmer and the tomato soup. The desserts are also delicious. The servers have clean nails and all of their teeth. Heaven! So all in all it is a wonderful place to visit - you will not be disappointed. Well...you might be disappointed if you are the type of person who likes to eat pork chunks from a can, but for everyone else, Enjoy!

Emil's is a fantastic place to eat. You pay more but for the quality it's well worth it. The seafood is fresh, chicken salad, tomato soup are best I've had. Seating is very limited so either go early or make reservations. Lunch is always a good time to go. Hours are kind of odd so make sure it's open before you plan to go. Also they just opened a fresh market with seafood, and house made salads and the such. Great place to stop on the way home. One of few good local places in Tullahoma.

I have to say, Emil's really has to be the best food I have ever had. I usually leave a few bites of my meal every time I go out, but this time I actually scraped every single morsel and sauce from the plate. I have been wanting to try this place out for a while and was so glad we finally did. We went for lunch and it was great. The service is top notch. My tea was always filled to the brim every time the server passed. One thing that I though was weird is that that don't do soda refills. I guess they don't have a soda fountain. I ordered the Chicken Daniel and my partner ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap with Bread & Butter Salad on the side. As I said, I engulfed my meal. My partner ate the wrap voraciously. The Chicken Daniel was so tasty, creamy, and tender. This is the best dish I ever had. After our meal, we ordered their Bread Pudding. They could've heated the dessert all the way through because it was unevenly heated up. Some of it was cold. Other than that, our meals were exceptional. Having this establishment in Tullahoma is a great surprise. If you get a chance to experience their food, you have to. With good food and excellent service, this is on top of my foodie list.

Yum! When I come into town, I have to say Emil's is one of my fave places to get food. I've been there for bridesmaids luncheons, valentine's day (with my parents.. hahahahahahaha... who's the single one?!!?!? ME!). And the food is consistently yummy... from the fried green tomatoes to the tomato soup (i am slightly obsessed with tomatoes), the food never fails to disappoint. And the place is nice for Tullahoma. I'll take this place to Applebee's any day.

Everyone in our party was in agreement. This restaurant was the best we've had in Tennessee.
