3.25 for 3 HUGE scoops of ice cream including Mexican wedding cake YUM!! I was practically full from the sample scoops given before making my selection. The young ladies working were very friendly I heard their cream is "homemade" which I assumed meant in house but when I Inquired they said it comes from a place in Mississippi. So not in house made fresh like I hoped. But beats the other chain ice-cream shops.

I don't know that I will go to any other ice-cream shop in Memphis now that I have finally tasted La Michoacana. There are no words to describe the scrumptious goodness of that ice-cream. And to top it off, their prices lower than any other shop. I endeavor to try every flavor paleta over the course of the summer.

Talk about comfort food! The place is always very clean and the food is consistent with treats I grew up eating in ELA and over the boarder. My favorite is the mangoniada [mango sorbet with chamoy (tart plum sauce)] and the only way I can describe it is like Mexico in a cup---the perfect blend of sweet, tangy, spicy, and lime in a partially frozen harmony. My kids love the fruit popsicles "paletas" and the strawberries and cream cocktails. We love it!

Las Frescas are my favorite. My kids try the various popsicles and ice cream bars. Very nice prices for what you get and the place is unique.

The cream bars are amazing. The fruit bars are great. For me, however,more than anything, the five stars are for the aguas frescas. The cantaloupe is like drinking fruit! Not a fruit drink. Drinking the very fruit itself. Try it out.

this is La Michoacana's 3rd location. I love this one since its close to home. Fresh fruit bars is my favorite along with their fresh ice cream. Watermelon fruit bar for the win.

Awesome paletas and homemade ice cream. My wife said it reminded her childhood in Mexico. She had the coconut and also the strawberry paletas. I had the pistachio ice cream. They were all good.

The ice cream bar (pistachio) that I had was by far one of my most favorite ice cream bars ever. I'm a sucker for cookies n cream and sometimes I'll venture off and have mango. So today I took a chance and had their pistachio and it didn't disappoint. It tasted very creamy. There's also actual pistachios in it and for less than $3, it is a real treat. Def will come back and bring my whole family. They also have a Check-in promo where you just enter your phone #. Can't wait to try more flavors!!!

Portions are HUGE! Ice cream is absolutely delicious - I had the small (did I mention that it's huge?!!?) - mixed the corn ice cream with eggnog (which had chocolate pieces in it). Both were delicious. Never had corn ice cream before but I really liked it. They were out of chocolate and the Mexican cake (which was recommended to me)...so I guess I need to go back. Awesome.

Fresh, creamy, delicious ice cream served generously. New flavors, such as corn and pine nut, along with traditional vanilla and chocolate, and each with a delicate ethnic touch. Try the Mexican cake flavor, a vanilla base combined with strawberries, chocolate, and sponge cake chunks. We're coming back, and plan to try the frozen paletas...rum raisin, anyone?

As I sat on my in laws couch during a recent visit, I just has to look on yelp for new delicious things to try. I found this placeand boy I am glad I did. The fruit bars ate delicious! I had the coconut and guava. My husband said that if we had a store like this where we lived we would be there all the time and I agree! Prices are also very reasonable!
