I gave two stars because the food was good, but took away three because of the horrible service. Literally waited 30 min to even get acknowledged. I am still waiting on the waitress for my check... 10 min after speaking with the manager. I won't be returning.

While we were getting some electronic work done in our car at Best Buy we needed to feed our 3 children somewhere family-friendly and easy to walk to from Best Buy. IHOP was closest. When we walked in there were 3 employees smoking outside the entrance and 3 more lounging in the bench inside the door. Our family of five was first seated at a booth for 4. We were moved, and then shortly noticed an unpleasant aroma of urine and syrup. While employees lounged and smoked and howled with laughter there were 3 tables in our immediate vicinity left filthy (and were only partially cleaned up during our 102 minutes on the premises. The food was...fair. I question why there were ice cubes layered in my short stack...but... Beyond the smell and the shoddy service and the middling food, the bathrooms were appalling!!! They reeked, and there was a gray substance smeared all over the sink/counter in the ladies' room. I'd hate for cleanliness and good service to interfere with most of these employees' social lives. On the other hand, our server, Candise, was sweet and did her job sufficiently.

I have been to several IHOP's in my life and this was the worse experience that I have ever had. We were seated at a table that was cleared but not wiped and the menus that had food crusted in them were put down on a sticky, dirty table. We had to ask the waitress to wipe off the table, which she did with a sopping wet, stained, and dirty towel. We ordered coffee, and when she returned the table was very still very wet so we asked if she could dry it off and she used the same nasty towel. She brought the coffee and silverware which both had food still stuck on them. At that point we couldn't take the chance of getting sick, because if this is what the customer sees, what does the kitchen look like that we don't see. We got up and left to save our health.

Whoa whoa whoa...this is an IHOP, why in Lord's name would I give 5 stars to an IHOP? The food is just like any other IHOP (which is good for what it is, I do love me some breakfast food), the price point is standard for this class of restaurant, and the ambiance is the same. What sets it apart? Service. I came in here with my girlfriend and from the start of my meal to the end, our server was enthusiastic, attentive, and enhanced our overall experience. My girlfriend spilled her drink on herself (sorry to call you out) and he acted like it was no big deal and cut any awkwardness and sense of inconvenience right out. I may typically be a Denny's guy, but this experience (plus our local Dennys' negligent service and stale food) has earned my loyalty. I'll be back to this IHOP sooner than later! (Although post note, I hope that this experience was not a fluke based on the other reviews I'm reading for this place. Either way, good first impression for me!)

Server was scatter-brained and inefficient. I ordered coffee immediately. I got it 10 minutes later after I asked for it again. I finally got to place my order...2 eggs over easy, grits and hash browns. Hash browns didn't make it on time and each food item was in its own dish. That's three dishes to wash instead of one...hmmm. All food was room temperature. This location is usually, at best, mediocre. This time it was a negative experience. I noticed two servers talking and when one walked away the other one rolled her eyes and mouthed something cute. No one looked happy. I couldn't wait to get myself out of there before the negativity changed my mood for the day. They weren't too busy so I can't make that excuse for them.

This IHOP is awful. I've gone there a handful of times, each time hoping it would somehow redeem itself. I'm such a pancake lover, I really wanted to love IHOP...sadly I will have to find another pancake place because this certainly isn't it! I would recommend Cracker Barrel hands down. This IHOP portrays the atmosphere of being rundown, unclean, and overall just a depressing place to have a nice meal. That would be if you could get a nice meal here- the pancakes are mediocre at best. Fajita omelette is ehhhh.Don't waste your money on a meal here. Just trust me when I say you're better off going to good ol' Cracker Barrel.

I usually love going to IHOP with the family but this one takes the cake for crap. Food came out in separate batches with several minutes between. I always get the Colorado omelette and it is always good. This location serves it in a pile of slop all over the plate. See pic. Not even remotely omelette like. Pancakes are hard and torn. No quality control anywhere in this kitchen. Makes me question the sanitation. Everything was either over or undercooked. I'll pass this location by next time. Also, the service sucked so bad my wife MADE me tip at all or else I wouldn't have.

It was Easter Sunday morning and my family and I had finished early morning outdoor service, and my hubby suggested we get breakfast afterwards, We were cold and looked forward to warming up with a piping hot cup of joe. Our options were Perkins or IHOP, needless to say we should have driven past the Hop! When we walked in we were met by a very chilly (temperature) atmosphere, the couple that walked in with us sat down and then promptly got up and went to the Golden warm Arches.. I asked a server to have the heat put on and she obliged after being asked several times, finally it warmed up..Our server brought us what I assumed was a carafe of coffee from a previous table and partially full and containing tepid coffee...we asked to have fresh coffee .We ordered our meal and repeated 2 times that I needed 2 orders of a breakfast meal and the server acknowledged that and when the food arrived only one of the order came (was told the cook had to clean the grill) , my child ended up waiting for another 10 mins. for her meal, needless to say she wasn't happy and I ended up giving her my pancakes and my mushy eggs that I had ordered well done and there was a hair in the eggs....We probably will find another breakfast hang out, even though we've been long time fans of the Hop.

I keep giving this location chances after chances but never again. Slow to seat, slow to take your order, slow to bring the food out which explains why the food has cooled down. As a "family restaurant" I felt I was in a rated R movie with the amount of "F" words being said I was very uncomfortable having a 4yr old with us. I will honestly say this is my last time at this location.

Absolutely one of the worst late night experiences ever. Service was awful. My lady, close friends, and I chose this IHOP as our post Beale Street Music Fest meal. We got there around 1AMish. What a mistake this was for me. My lady and I ordered whole wheat crepes while others around me ordered less healthy options. When the food arrived, my plate was the only one missing. Apparently, they were out of the whole wheat crepes. I didn't know until the manager told us. The server failed to let me know. Geez. Not like there were busy. There were only a handful of other customers. Terrible. What ticked me off the most was while were reviewing the menu for a second option and also contemplating on whether or not to order at all, a different server brought us the regular, very small portioned, non-whole wheat crepes. This puzzled me. Although appreciated, we didn't order it. Hungry and tired we accepted. This was our second mistake. The crepe didn't taste good at all. The original server returned and asked how it our food was and I told her it wasn't good at all. Her response, "It's late..." Boy was I pissed after that. We ended up having to pay for the crappy food. It was more out of obligation because we accepted the alternative, but I wasn't happy about it at all. Moral of the story is don't eat here.

Went in with family, party of seven was already waiting to be acknowledge by staff, we, a party I four would be next. A party of three came in a couple minutes later and five minutes later a couple. The couple asked how long we'd been waiting, we all explained the pecking order and when the hostess finally decided to show, the couple allowed her to seat them first. Yea, they were quite the douches but with the hostess not bothering to ask everyone party sizes, who was next or anything.. The doucheness was partially wavered. When everyone else complained, the manager on duty said they were understaffed on that shift and we would just have to understand. Pants on head retarded. I told her my family would be glad to help them out by not burdening them with our business and left.

The worst breakfast food I've ever had. Would prefer a breakfast bar or pop tart. Or nothing. We stopped here for a late lunch desiring breakfast food. I ordered a "create your perfect omelette." I wanted cheddar cheese and was informed this was really a sauce. I should have taken that. Instead, I chose the Jack and Cheddar (told it was the only "real" cheese), mushrooms, ham, and spinach. It was HORRIBLE. It was not fluffy like an omelette, but super-thin like a crepe. It tasted burned like leftover eggs on a skillet that were overcooked. It was dry..really dry. Then it was all folded up on itself to make it big enough to be called an omelette. I chose the hash browns as the side. They were just ok, but better than the main dish. Seriously, this was unbelievably bad, and this is coming from someone who is not a great cook. I could do wayyyyy better than this. Don't even. PS. Waitress was fine.

I used to come here very often a couple years ago and since then I have noticed that the quality, service, and environment have exponentially decreased. Last time I went it was a Friday in the morning the place was moderately occupated but nothing too crazy and full. Once they sitted us, the waitress didn't come to our table until fifteen minutes later. We ordered and got our food fairly fast but my eggs were undercooked from what I ordered my bacon wasn't on my plate and my pancakes were unpleasing to the eye along with the rest of my food, and to top it off once my bacon arrived, nearly after I was finished with all my food, it had a hair in it. Worst quality and service IHOP on town.

First, this is not a great place, but not the worst either. They just happen to hit on a couple of my biggest pet-peeves. I live close and this place is open when others are not, however, I still keep this location as a last resort. Pros: 1) Hours (open 24/7) most major holidays 2) Usually will get food within 15 to 20 minutes of order and served hot 3) Food is usually cooked OK, and the one time it wasn't they took action appropriately Cons: 1) If you want eggs, well anything other than scrambled is chancy- I ordered over-hard 4 times and it was either cooked medium or scrambled. 2) Staff needs some customer service/professionalism training. -I don't like seeing the people serving or cooking food out front smoking ever, it just looks dirty (smoke out back where customer can't see you). -I have been seated and while waiting for my food, I listened to 5 waitors/waitress sitting/standing around a 2 seater booth by the kitchen BS'ing, flirting and talking crap about each other, no day/night manager to be found to break this up. And not once did any of them ask if I needed a drink refill (glass was empty), or just a curtousey check to see if all was good. ***if this happened only once or twice, I would not mention it 3) Being seated at a unclean table when there were clean tables just ticks me off. No one or group should EVER be seated at a table that is not ready. (sticky table, crumbs on seats, and no table setting.) Overall, if you are going to eat here, do what I am starting to do, going to nearby clean table that is prepped, refuse to sit anywhere near the kitchen (so I don't have to listen to the waitstaff or see staff returning from smoke break), and if you want eggs good luck getting what you ordered.

This was thursday of last week. Walked in and there were a couple hosts up front when you enter, no one greeted us. Actually walked away to help other customers. When we were seated the waitress said she would be right back and she would take our drink orders in just a moment. Ten minutes later I got up and asked an employee to speak with a manager. I spoke to the manager and told him me and my family were leaving because of the slow service and how we were not greeted. The manager said he would take half off the meal. The manager came right back out and took our order personally. The food was out in no time. The manager served it himself. When leaving they tried to only take half off my meal. I had to tell them it was for the whole meal. We wont be going back. Although the manager helped us out and served us personally, based on the other reviews I would skip this place. The best thing about this whole experience was the coffee was nice and strong. Go somewhere else first besides this place.

Usually we go to the iHop on Perkins Rd, but today we decided to go to this location. We had to wait quite a bit longer than we do at the other location (about a 30 min wait). The restaurant is way cleaner than the one on Perkins and the staff is more professional. The serving utensils, glasses and plates were clean as well - it's a shame that I've come to expect them to be dirty. Our server Lily was excellent - she greeted us warmly as she seated us and was pleasant and attentive the entire time. In spite of having the entire section to serve, she served us in a timely fashion and with a smile. I had the strawberry cheesecake pancakes in the combo plate. The pancakes were definitely a smaller size than they normally are, but I didn't really need that much food anyway and they were cooked perfectly. I also had smoked sausage which was a little burnt but still good, eggs with cheese (nice and fluffy with cheddar mixed in), and perfectly cooked hash browns. My daughter had the Bananas Foster French toast. It looked wonderful. My daughter said she wanted to meet the chef so she can thank him, he made everything perfectly. My husband had the Cinnamon French Toast, a new dish. When it came out it did Not look like the picture (way less crust covering). After the first bite, my husband didn't say another word for the rest of the meal so I figured he was upset. At the end of the meal he says, I'm disappointed - disappointed that there's no more left! Now I wish we had been coming to this iHop the whole time instead of the one on Perkins Rd. We will definitely be making this our regular location. Thanks Lily for your wonderful and cheery service!
