Good food, great customer service, friendly staff. overall a nice place for a family meal. Stopped in on a Tuesday evening to take advantage of the kids promotion where kids make their own pizza's for $2.00. All our orders were prompt and correct, server was friendly and engaged kids, kids had good time being chefs, and food was good couldn't ask for anything else.

My husband and I usually do takeout on Friday nights here. For a popular restaurant they sure cannot get out order right or packaged correctly. This week I got the buffalo chicken rolls. No buffalo sauce on the rolls and the lid was missing to the dip. Needless to say it was all over. Got the jalapeño pretzel bites - missing the pretzel, it was just dough and no lid on the cheese dip. Which of course got all over. Atleast they got the calzone right. Just sloppy service. Not unusual. Check your order before you leave.

I was happy to see options other than pizza on the menu but since that's what we came for - that's what we tried. My husband and I each had a deep dish pizza for one and we weren't disappointed. It was pretty good but my absolute favorite thing was the buffalo chicken rolls. I've been craving them like crazy ever since I tried them for the first time here. Looking forward to having them again!

Awesome bartenders, great food, and a never ending supply of specials and discounts. Always a great place to watch a game too.

Food is ok. Their beer selection is why we go here, I would give that 5 stars. It's a nice restaurant type atmosphere, the booths are cozy, it's a fun place to have some drinks with friends.

Expensive, overly salted bar fare restaurant, with poor service. The bathroom is disgusting with hand towels and toilet papers on the floor. Garbage over flowing in bathroom. Waitress DID NOT take our dirty plates , utensils and napkins off our table after we told her we were done. I got disgusted and dumped it all on the bar. NO ONE wants dirty, finished plates on their tables. It is gross!! clearly NOT in CNY. No handicap parking, really. Don't waste your time or money eating at a table. Waitress is too lazy and doesn't care about tips for transferring bar table tabs to bar tabs and her tip. So very angry I had to pay to return my sh*tty food and go to the bar. You wonder why you make minimum wage. Won't go above and beyond for customer service. F**KS they give = NONE. ALSO, remember in Tennessee to tip BEFORE tax, bc they pay no income tax. And don't over tip at 20% here bc NO F**CKS GIVEN. Good selection of beers. Out door seating with no entrance near. No heaters. Apparently CHAIN OWNED. #supportlocalbusinesses

I went here for the first time tonight and wow! That was some of the pizza I'd ever had! The mozzarella cheesesticks were good, and the pizza. Whoa! I had pepperoni on both sides and sausage on one. The sausage was perfect as was the pepperoni. The service was good as was the decor. In the future, Old Chicago will have many dollars with my name on it.

The spaghetti pie was amazing! Kids meatball not the best but overall the food was outstanding along with the service.

It's obviously a chain and set up as a typical restaurant with a bar in it. However it's got great food and the best beer selection in town. Prices may not be the best but I'd say it's well worth it. Plus the setting makes it a lot less white trash than the typical Clarksville dive bars. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

My husband and I come to Old Chicago often. It says so much about how awful the dining choices are in Clarksville that this is one of the best places to eat for a reasonable price. The beer is always cold, the service is excellent and the pizza... damn! So good. The personal pizza is a perfect size, the chicken tortilla soup was very good (I want the recipe) and the wings were great. They have all drums, so that's a huge plus. We watched the Denver and 49ers game at the bar area and the ambiance was upbeat and friendly. Once suggestion is that additional servers are hired. We waited for 30 minutes and there were tons of open tables. We love this place and will come back!

Food is great. But I just ate there and my wife ordered the fried "pickles". This is the first time I have ever seen anything like this. They need to change the name of the item as fried "pickle" as in singular not plural. Heck you can't even call it a pickle. It was like the took a pickle, cut it in half, then sliced up that half and fired it and put it on the plate. Ridiculous! Never seen anything so cheap in my life.

  • Miss L.

We ordered chicken wings as an appetizer, they came out extremely bloody!!!! We didn't realize it until after we had already started eating them. I was pissed that my kids had eaten that mess!!!! The waitress didn't come to us often and when she did she was hurrying and rushing. It wasn't busy!! She only had our table and 2 other tables.

  • Bryan R.

I've been here a few times, never had a bad experience. The mixed drinks were always strong and on point, the food is excellent. Try the pizza, thick crust and any toppings you want. Great place!

We love Old Chicago. Tuesday nights are great because kids can make their own pizza and our girls love that. The atmosphere is great for kids any time though, it's definitely family friendly. I've eaten a number of items off the menu and have rarely been disappointed - fish & chips was probably the least tasty. I really enjoy the baked spaghetti, and my husband loves the pizza. They used to have a good chocolate cake dessert, I was sad to see it was gone the last time we were there.

  • Chelsy L.

My husband and I love old Chicago! We always sit at the bar and the service, food, and beer is always amazing! Our favorite bartender is Nick but they are all extremely friendly and very knowledgable on their beer selection. Old Chicago has 30 beer on draft (ever changing) and over 60 bottled beers! They have the world beer tour which the goal is to drink all 110 beers that they serve. This place great and they have the BEST drink specials and happy hour in Clarksville. I highly suggest getting their pizza, it is by far the best I have ever Had!

  • Kat W.

We love Old Chicago. We fell in love our first visit. Our fourth was a disappointment but when I spoke to a manager I made sure to brag about my service. My soggy pizza was not my waitresses fault at all. The next visit was better but not up to par with previous visits. I am happy to say tonight was right back to spectacular. I know my waiter may have thought I was picky but he still brought everything exactly as we asked. Great service. We get the double deckeroni tavern thin and asked for light sauce since last time it had been soggy and it was perfect.

    (5)
  • Dallas M.

The cook at the buffet is really rude. Think they may have went to Chicago to get the pizza, since it took so long to arrive at the table

    (1)
  • Caren T.

Excellent pizza. Fun atmosphere. Our server, Jessi, was attentive and good humored. She even laughed at my wry comments, which is always a plus. Try the white and pesto pizzas--and it's a paradise for beer lovers!

The service here is pretty lousy, my friends and I showed up here Friday night and two of us weren't drinking so we ordered Diet Pepsis. One of us ordered a beer and his showed up right away of course but when it came to our soft drinks they weren't brought. Our waiter walked by us a few times and on his third walk by mentioned to us that for some reason they're out of Diet Pepsi and would get it out to us as soon as they 'fixed' the problem. Isn't it just a matter of switching out syrup bags and hooking it up to the soda line? I guess not, because we ordered our meal and our diet colas never showed up at all. The pizza here is definitely not Chicago style-Chicago style deep dish is almost casserole like with tomato sauce on top of a cheese/'topping' mixture. The 'Chicago 7' pizza ran riot on the Democratic Convention of my stomach the next morning. I'm not going to be returning here for food and despite their large beer selection won't come back since their service is as bad as their attempt at Chicago style pizza.

You can't beat the Thai pie pizza! It's a must try! They offer may domestic and international beers. We eat here almost every time we come to clarksville.

  • Chris W.

I really love this place.. They have over 100 types of beer and a thing called the beer tour. You receive a card that keeps track of each beer you drink and they have prizes after a certain number of beers.. They also do a beer of the week on Wednesday and you are able to count that beer a few times on your card. So if you really like the beer that day then you keep drinking it and I think it will count each time for four times. The food is always really good and the service is always fast. If you go you have to try the jalapeno pretzels.. I wish I could get the recipe for the cheese sauce cause I honestly would bathe in this stuff.

Pizza was good, lots of variety. Plenty of beer to choose from. Our server was extremely annoying, kept complaining about only making $8.00 all night and whining that she's a single mom and needs more money. She kept calling us babies, it was awkward. We were just really uncomfortable every time she came to the table.

    (3)
  • Dawn S.

I love this place! They make their dough on site and their pizza is fabulous. I like the way they have the servers trained too. It makes their customer service all the more appreciated. When You want a good pizza and not some fast food delivery, this is the place to go. They have beer too lol.

We came in late on a Thursday night but got great service and really good. The Sicilian Pepperoni Rolls were absolutely the best. My husband had a Calzone and I a Stromboli. All were hot with lots of cheese and meat. I had the strawberry lemon aide. And all drinks and appetizers was around 35.00. Yum. We will be back

    (5)

BOOOM MUUUUUUUTHHHHAAAA FUUUUUUUCKKKKKAAAAA. The pizza here is a 5. After a doggedly long quest to find the best tour in the local area. It is my conclusion this title belongs to Old Chicago. While I do not enjoy their Red Robin like decor; I do enjoy that they have updated their beer selection to include Lagunitas IPA and their deep dish pizza. Blackhorse can take a lesson in pizza craft from this place. Their double deckaroni pizza is STACKED with the proper amount of pig slices;, the cheese is flawlessly melted and the crust is soft and soaked with delicious oil. Nailed it. Old Chicago... take your bow you crafty corporate bitch.. you nailed it.

From the moment we walked in I was hooked. We experienced very little wait. This was my first visit so the waitress took his time to give me a brief explanation of the place and their beer tour. Their beer selection is very extensive which is good to try out different beers. Food was above average in the area, the staff was friendly and the pizza was pretty good. The pizza sauce was a little too bland or too strong tomato flavor but I enjoy it still. I definetly recomend it, way better than Black Horse.

  • Allie G.

This has great food however horrible management. We waited 20 minutes even though they had open tables and a fukl wsit staff. We received an order of Mozzarella Sticks that were cold and the cheese was not melted. Our server came back apologetic and stated the manager said that's just how they are served here. They can serve their cold food to someone else because they lost our business.

I have been there a few times. Staff is always rude. They mess my meals up quite a alot. I would never go back there again

  • Crysta J.

We ordered the Chicago 7 & royal margherita pizza. Sooooo good! Fresh and delicious. Not really "deep dish" though. Also their cheesy garlic bread is amazing! Def one of our favorite spots in Clarksville!

  • Michael S.

Old Chicago always has something great to offer. From the food to the beer there is always something new to try. The waiters are very knowledgeable about the beer that is offered. A plus in my book and a quick way to win my wallet over. The burgers are great but do your self a favor and grab a pizza, or calzone.

Best pizza I've ever had!!! You have to try the Double Deckoroni!!! Nick and Tamra were great bartenders!!!

Food was fresh, nice presentation, and great service. We had the chicken fett, noodles were made in house and the blend of flavors worked well. Highly recommend!!

  • Andria C.

Maybe we caught them on a bad night? We were served our wings with no dishes to eat off of so we all used our napkins as plates. We asked for dishes but the wings were gone before we were served with dishes. I had the pesto chicken panini and it was served just warm. I was given the choice of ketchup with my fries, obviously, but I practically finished my fries before I was served the ketchup. We asked for the menu back for dessert and we were given the menu but all of our dirty dishes stayed on the table. We ordered the cheesecake and it took about 10-15 minutes to come out. The cheesecake was good but the presentation was sad. We will not be going back.

  • Lanny B.

Pizza isn't bad, and is apparently made of some form of dark matter, as one slice will keep you feeling like you've over-eaten for a few days. Beer selection is the real reason to go, as they've got one of the better ones in Clarksville. Service is generally pretty good.

If you've never experienced REAL Chicago pizza, you might think this place is pretty cool. Lots of sports memorabilia and pictures on the wall, pizza, beer and whatnot...but nothing I tried even came CLOSE to genuine Chicago pizza. The crust is wrong, the sauce is wrong...it's all wrong.

Food is okay. Nothing to write or tweet home about. But the service is deplorable. The last time my family went the waitress was coming by the table at least 25 times. Constantly asking how the food was. I finally got fed up and looked her in the eye and said the same as it was two minutes ago. She half laughed and said oh ok. Honestly, is the chef that bad that you have to constantly interrupt my conversation and family time to make sure I'm not keeled over?? Free WiFi or not, it's not worth the aggravation. My advice?? Go down the road to Wal-Mart, buy a frozen pizza and cook it at home. This place is horrible.

I've been here with a few of my friends before, this is THE best deep dish pizza I've ever had in clarksville. Hands down. One of my fav. deep dish pizza is the Hawaiian. Amazing! Service was good and it is usually quite packed around dinner time (or during like football season lol) The interior give off a bar feel (since there's a bar in the back) seating was quite close together and usually the table with chairs are very high. Space is limited for walking with two people...but its big enough to walk though. But one time we when here when it was about to close (like an hour and a half prior to closing) and our waitress was really nice, but it felt like they rushed through the baking and brought our pizza out too soon...so it didn't taste as good since it wasn't fully cooked to crispy. I might've to order a pizza to go when I go back home to Memphis, to let my family try it...it's that good. I'll miss this place when I no longer go to school here.

I absolutely love this place! I always pick this restaurant when it is my turn to choose. I know its a little cookie-cutter and franchised but, you cant Deny they have great food. I usually get the Chicago seven Stromboli, this meal is large enough to fill me up and Delicious enough to get me coming back for more every time. I have not taken part in any of there many beers but, I hear the selection is pretty good.

Let's get it straight, this pizza is not authentic Chicago Style pizza. Their sauce is way off (needs more spice and zest). Now they do have menu items you would eat when you went to Chicago (Italian beef, deep dish style pizza, etc.), but these items are not the real Mccoy. I'm guessing this is a chain? With that being said, I think this is the best pizza you can get in Clarksville. Sorry South, but you're not known for having great pizza. Price: I didn't think it was too pricey. My husband and I had a medium 3 topping with a cookie, 2 drinks, and mozz sticks for $33. Service: They weren't that busy (lunch time, dinner gets crowded) and my server lagged on getting me Diet Pepsi refills. Food: Like I stated pizza sauce was a bit off, but still tasted good for TN. For the record, I've had some pretty nasty tasting pizza around Clarksville. Mozz sticks were large, but had that frozen taste. I've had better. Maybe we should've went with the Garlic Cheese Bread. FINAL THOUGHTS: We'll certainly be back the next time we want some decent pizza.

We ordered a thin crust pizza with the mistaken idea that it would be - well, thin. It was an inch thick! It was very good, not gooey or anything, properly cooked and we did eat it all - just not what we expected when you order a thin crust pizza. Very good beer selection, reasonable service, reasonable price. However, If I want a thin crust pizza, I definitely won't come here! They should just take any mention of a thin crust option off the menu so you know what you are in for.

We ended up doing the option where we could eat an unlimited amount of just the pizza. I tried all of the ones available and was not impressed. I'd say come here with friends when the priority is the get-together, not quality of food. The environment is pleasant enough and service ok.

Great beer selection, good pizza if you like deep dish. I'm a born and bred New Yorker and therefore require my pizza to be paper thin. The other food isn't bad, the decor is a bit franchise-y and the staff is a crapshoot. Sometimes you'll get an attentive waitress, sometimes no one will want to pay attention to your party. If you're out for pizza and beer, this is your spot in Exit 4 Clarksville. For a more local scene, hit up the Blackhorse.

UPDATE: The more I come here the happier I am. The service has been getting better and better, and my last to experiences I was helped by to bad mama-jama servers that knew what it takes to truly deserve a tip. They still do two things right.... Beer and Pizza!!!!!!! This place has one huge thing going for it. It has 110 beers on hand! The deep dish pizza is DEEP and delicious. Service is decent but what can you expect when the place is always packed and the whole place is trying to finish their beer tour in record time.

So i went with my family and the hostess, three of them, said they could not seat us because the servers were out smoking. When we asked if they were serious thy told us everyone gets a break. The restaurant was half full and after waiting 10 minutes we left. It will be awhile before i go back. I blame this on the manager, they obviously do not know what tone to set with their employees.

As our last meal in Tennessee before we venture home we went to Old Chicago. The ambiance was just like anything you would find at Chili's or Applebee's which isn't very original but it was clean inside and still had a nice air to it. The waitress was polite and well mannered. An interesting aside, Old Chicago has 100 different beers to try and offers a 'tour' of them. Being a pizza spot I ordered the Tuscan chicken deep dish pizza. The pizza came out in a quickly and did not disappoint. It was full of grilled white meat chicken, lemon sauce, sun dried tomatoes, large pieces of garlic, spinach and some very creamy white cheese. The dough was cooked perfectly and was slightly oily but a light oil, put there for taste not as if left over from cooking. The jalapeño pretzel apps with Tillamook cheese dip was good but the pizza was fantastic. Quite unfortunately there are no Old Chicago's in the state of Louisiana but the next time I'm in Tennessee you'll be sure to find me here. Highly recommended.

Well, the first plus is that they have lots of beer choices. They even have one of those beer club things that give you prizes for completing a certain number of beers on the "Tour". Also, on Tuesday's (or maybe it was Thursday's) they offer 2$ long island iced teas. They're made from a mix, so not the greatest, but they're cheap. Ok, with the alcohol out of the way let's talk about the rest. The place has TV's in the bar area, so you have somewhere to watch the game. However, I would not recommend coming here in a large group, as it's always really packed and someone will be breaking their neck trying to watch the TV. This goes for the whole place, not just the bar area. Service has been hit or miss. Like I mentioned, it's always full, so it's hard to expect super fast service. It's never been bad though. The food has been good every time I've eaten here. I usually get something pizza like. I've had the calzone, pizza, and pizza appetizers. The pepperoni rolls are amazing, and so are the nachos. I recommend sharing different things with friends. Portions are large and you will most likely walk out with a to-go box anyway, so might as well taste as much as you can. Overall, great place to eat and hang out. Atmosphere is a little to packed for my taste to come here more often, but I will definitely return every now and then.

Old Chicago is probably the coolest looking place in all of Clarksville. It's clean, trendy, fun. Good things going for them, really. But where the areas in which it fails far supersede the excellent decor and fast paced atmosphere. The food is certainly not up to snuff. For a place that is a pizza restaurant, the pizza is poor. It's nothing like its namesake, Chicago-style, in fact, it's just odd altogether. I think perhaps it's the dough on which the pizza is constructed. The dough is too thick, and has a corn meal-ish flavor. Other dishes on the menu simply taste processed or frozen. The pepperoni rolls are no exception, but they're a guilty pleasure. Sort of how I like microwave burritos, gross, but I still like them. The other draw of Old Chicago is beer. They've got, what, 200 varieties? If you're looking for that incredibly rare microbrew, odds are they've got it. What's wrong with this? Oh, stadium prices... 4 bucks, 5 bucks, 7 bucks, etc... Cocktails are on the wrong side of 5 bucks, too. Sorry, I know you've got a fancy building and big TVs to pay for, but I'm not helping you. I'll give Old Chicago a thumbs up for their bartenders. They've always been a very helpful and friendly lot. I suppose if you've got a corporate card, or if someone else is buying, you can justify visiting the bar. For my money, however, if I'm paying fine restaurant prices for drinks, I'd better be in a fine restaurant. Sorry Old Chicago, I'm not taking out a loan to visit you.

It's usually busy with people there to drink beer, watch a game, and hang out with their buddies. The deep dish pizza is great, and I'm a big fan of the spinach and artichoke calzone. I really don't understand the bad reviews for this place. They have an excellent selections of beers and food. The food can range from the typical Italian pizzas, Stromboli and lasagna to burgers, pasta's steaks and salads. I usually go for the make your own pizza and stick with the thin crust. I have sampled their dish pizzas and while they are just as delicious, too much bread for me. They usually have the current sports shows on and also have a couple of tv's set to Buzztime trivia so ask your waitress for a playmaker. I had heard awesome things about Old Chicago, and it has been packed since it opened. So, a group of friends talked me in to going there recently. Out of 8 people, 3 had the wrong food, and my food was spoiled. They were kind of rude about it, but everything got fixed. I am planning on going back sometime and giving it a second chance. I want to try their lunch buffet.

So we travel 8 hours from Chicago and what do we have for dinner??? Chicago food, or at least, Tennessee's take on Chicago food. The place did their best to accommodate our party of 15, on a Friday night with no reservation. Hell I've waited much longer at some places with a freaking reservation. The food was pretty good. We got a deep dish-esque pizza called the "chicago 7" which featured; pepperoni, sausage, black olives, green peppers, mushrooms, and 2 other toppings i don't remember. I can't say that it was "just like home", but for being in TN, it's probably as good as it's gonna get.
