Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I've driven by this place before many times and even thought about ordering something for delivery. Coming home from the Chattanooga Airport, the BF and I decided to stop in. I ordered the spaghetti plate that came with garlic bread and a drink. I have to say I was pretty impressed with the flavor of the sauce, or gravy, as a good Italian would say. It seemed to be house-made and had a nice garlic and Italian herb taste with visible chunks of tomato and onion. It was a meat sauce and there was some meat in it that gave it another level of taste. They have a huge menu so I'm reserving my opinion until I can try out some other things, but so far so good.

We placed an order online using a coupon that was online. I selected delivery for this option and moments after the order was submitted, Charlie from proni's called to tell me that he had no idea how I placed that order for delivery with that coupon. I told him I obviously did it online where the coupon was, and he got hateful with me. I asked to cancel my order and for a confirmation number for the cancellation. He hung up on me. I had to call back just to get that. Ridiculous. Will never order from there again. Toscanos on Lee hwy is better anyway. I'm willing to drive to get that.

I had the philly steak sub and my wife had the turkey avacado provolone sub. We both tried each other's subs and we loved the taste of both, we will definitely visit again next time we are in Chattanooga. We finished with a child's size bubble gum and butter pecan ice cream cones and they were literally the best ice cream cones we've ever had.

They one of the best gyros in town. I don't know if the sauce they used is traditional tzatziki sauce, but it was definitely delicious. The onion rings and fries are standard at best and kind of disappointing when compared to the level of quality of the gyro. It even managed to win over a couple gyro haters I know. Overall service was good, staff was friendly and quick. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Called for a delivery while I was in town. The guy on the phone was so rude getting my information, and completely disinterested that I told him I'd call someone else, and I was sorry to bother him. Went with Lupi's Pizza instead, and was very satisfied! :)

Lasagna was not good. Dining room was dirty, had some sort of black lint on the tables. One of my table seats was half broken. Old posters on the wall. Church music was thoughtful but too loud for a dining room. Interestingly the couple who came in after me left before ordering, I should have done the same. An 'A' for effort but I just can't recommend. Sorry

My Uncle brought my brother and I here for a snack/lunch. I say snack/lunch because we were only supposed to be snacking. My uncle is a fun-loving guy and apparently frequents this place as a regular. The owner came out to great him warmly. We ordered his regular. An interesting spin on a Gyro... It had a pickle spear and more of a mayo sauces (less yogurt-tasting than I expected). It was still tasty. They also serve pizzas, cold/hot sub sandwiches, fries and hotdogs. Obvious that others that came in after us also come to this joint often, they were hailed and visited by the staff at their tables. Thats a good sign no matter what.

My wife and I go there all the time for pizza. It is so good. Thin crust with real stringy tasty mozzarella cheese. The people are very friendly and the place is very clean. We'll have to try their sandwiches sometime but haven't gotten past the pizza yet!

Always enjoy lunch here when in town. They make a very good salad. One day I'll try some pizza. This is a no frills econo cafe complete with paper plates and plastic forks. Try the Cheese Steak Salad...
