Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Wow!! This place is disgusting!!!! Please please stay away!! So the only reason we went was bc it had 4/5 stars on here but I'm shocked that anyone would wanna eat there. As soon as we walked in we sensed a weird vibe. You have to seat yourself and we couldn't find a clean table to sit at. The thing that shocked me the most is that they don't cook things there, they MICROWAVE your food!!!! I'm serious!!! Our table was right behind the "counter" and we kept hearing the microwave go off so when I looked, they had 2 microwaves and they kept putting dishes in to heat them up. That's simply disgusting!!! Needless to say, we got up and left. Last thing I want is to get sick over some nasty food that's been sitting in the fridge for days and then microwaved. Not acceptable!!

The staff were nice... that gained the stars... the food what not good... I hate writing bad reviews, but it just was not worth my family's vacation time. I was so hopeful after seeing the news articles on the walls and the classic (can be read as cheesy) decor... but the manicotti was bland and soupy, My wife and mother got the chicken tetrazzini and both were amazed at the lack of any flavor. My son got the minestrone soup and I bet it came from a can. Hopefully they made it, but it tasted exactly like progresso. Anyway, we will not be back...

Good food, great people! This is a multi-generation family owned business in Chattanooga. We stopped in here after my Uncle raved about their muffalatta sandwich (not sure on the spelling). The muffallatta is basically an italian sub sandwich on a flat plate sized bread. It has a very tasty olive tapenade spread on the top. It was really quite good. The pizza was also really tasty. My kids said the best they had ever had! The most special part about this place to me was the owner and staff. They were very friendly and made sure we had a good meal.

Best Italian food in town! I've been coming here since before I could walk. Pizza, lasagna, spagetti are awesome. Even the salad is my favorite on the Southside.

I understand from talking to the staff, this is a fifth generation Italian restaurant. Atmosphere nothing fancy, however if you are in the mood for some well prepared, very tasty Italian dishes, this your place. Friendly staff, great food, and priced reasonably. Try it, you won't be sorry.

Pre-fab crust, underseasoned sauce and undercooked (barely melted cheese) pizza. It provided calories, but no pleasure. Would not recommend, except maybe for families with kids. I think locals are just nostalgic; not sure how else it would survive, sad to say.

This local establishment has been around for a very long time. When my daughter was little, "MOM" would give her quarters she kept in her apron for just such an occasion. This is one of our favorite pizza's thin, crisp, and sliced square. The sausage is the best. The decor is simple and old, a little paint would help, but if your just looking for good food stop on by. Closed on Monday and no credit cards.
