I'm going to be honest. I haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in so long. I just pushed it into the novelty and senior citizen category for restaurants. I recently went for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The food was good quality, the portions were sizable (I took some home and got 2 breakfasts out of it), and the staff was friendly. The place was packed and for good reason. I'll definately add this to my resaurant rotation!

Waited 40 minutes to find out the waitress didn't put our order in. Do not recommend.

This is one of the best Cracker Barrel's in the country. They can effectively handle crowds, and always provide a consistent experience. Don't let the parking lot scare you from going inside--I'm not sure how they do it, but have never had an actual wait of more than 10 minutes. Breakfast is great here any time of the day! Service is great!

First off I want to brag about our server Ashley M. Very profession, and a real delight to be around. She was always there when you needed her. The food was good as well. This is the first time we stopped at the Irmo store. We were out traveling that day. Well worth the visit. Give Ashley M. a raise great employee.

Had dinner tonight and had the usual good comfort food we all love from Cracker Barrel. What stood out tonight and made it even better was our server Deneene! She was gracious and kind and really didn't mind putting her customers first.. Wish everyone in the service industry made me as welcome as Deneene did at CB....

wife and i had breakfast here on the way back from Charlestown to Nashville and were starving. i had the meat lover plate and my wife had the grandma plate. Food was good, though i struggled with the grits being rubbery. the gravy also had a thin layer of skin on the top that i am not used to. maybe it sat to long but was slightly off putting. Service was good however, and that gets it a 3 star rating.

I enjoy Cracker Barrel because no matter where you eat at one the menu is the same and the food is the same, very delicious. I like to order from the breakfast menu whatever the time of day. Today I had eggs just the way I like them, grits, saw mill gravy and biscuits, fried apples and best of all Country Ham. The ham steaks are some of the best I've had anywhere. I try to find one off the highway whenever I can.

Had wait for seats when I could clearly see there were empty tables. Some guest were on the outside waiting but did not know hear their names called because the PA system was not working. The waiter was very nice but did not check on us. I noticed also that other guests were waiting a long time without drinks or food, too. I was surprised with the service because I've frequent this particular restaurant several times & the service was much better. And the food was not good at all. the grits were extremely lumpy & some of the other items were on the verge of being cold. Disappointed.

I want to start off by saying I love cracker barrel and my husband does as well. We will still be dining with the company, but never at this location again! First, upon greeting our table our server apologized for being wet bc she had been in a water fight in the back. Also, bc of this she didnt have her server book so she couldn't take our order. When she returned to take our order, she said hold on let me see who is calling me and pulled her phone out of her pocket and then said "oh, it's just my annoying ex husband." This begs the question..if it was someone less annoying, would she have answered the call? By the time our food got there both my husband and I needed refills, which we didn't get at all throughout our entire meal or after we were finished. My chef salad came out without egg or a cheese wedge. When the manager brought me the cheese and egg, he didnt even realize our drinks were completely empty. Filling drinks maybe below your pay grade, but atleast delegate the task to someone else. However, the guest expert and the cashier greated us immediately, and were very friendly. Thanks for making us feel welcome! Yall still have the best high chairs and boosters around! Very mom friendly atmosphere and menu!

I usually love Cracker Barrel, but this location, not so much. The service is mediocre, taking quite a long time to see your server even when the restaurant is quite empty. The grits were terrible. The texture and taste was very off and cold. Also had the Roast Beef Dinner which is usually amazing and my favorite, but what I got was cold and super fatty. I don't think I'll ever come back to this location.

This place never disappoints. Fast service, consistently great food, and a great spot to just sit down and enjoy lunch and life. Brings back memories of the good 'ol days (and this is only coming from a college kid!)

I love this cracker barrel, staff is very friendly, the food is delicious I came 2 times during my stay at the hotel next door. I had Mama's French Toast platter the first time it was so good, second time I got the Rib Eye Steak, it was extraordinary, juicy, succulent, and delicious. I had 2 sides of mac and cheese and turnip greens to go with it along with cornbread. I highly recommend this location!

I absolutely LOVE Cracker Barrel. I usually can find something on the menu that all of my family will eat (no small task when I'm feeding three hungry teenage boys).... We took my mother last night for dinner. Her country fried steak was great, she said! My son had the chicken and dumplins which are always good. My date had breakfast and I had breakfast as well. I ordered individual items, and the waitress suggested a breakfast meal that would be cheaper and give me more food (added biscuits). She was very attentive and never let our glasses get empty. Excellent service as usual. Great place to eat, but a little hard to get into the parking lot. Have to go thru the parking lot for the Hyatt.

Me and my wife eat at different Cracker Barrells at different times. I was disappointed this time because they were out of soup, the sweet tea was awful tasting, and our server didn't have a very good attitude. Our main course was good, but overall not the best experience.

I'm from the west coast, where we don't have Cracker Barrels. So when I was in Columbia over the weekend, I had to try it. I had the whole wheat pancakes with the almonds in it, which was pretty good. It came with bananas and a little bottle of warmed syrup. I like that the syrup comes in individual bottles because this avoids the sticky mess at places like I-HOP. It was cool, too, that the table doubled as a checkers board. My husband and I played a bit before the food came. In the end, though, this is just a regular place to eat. It's average. Plus, I don't really like how you have to walk through a store to get to the restaurant.
