Expensive but worth it. The fries are extremely generous and the burgers are the clOsest thing to in n out on the east coast that you will find. I always leave happy and the environment is good for families.

I would highly recommend using caution upon visiting this property. The owners have decided that it is for some reason a good idea to have people towed if you walk off the property at all. To the point, that they are paying someone to sit in the parking lot and watch people.

If you're a fan of Five Guys this location doesn't disappoint. There is ample free parking in the lot, the service is fast and friendly, and they overload you with fries. I'm glad to find this downtown location for when I need my Five Guys fix.

Five guys is the go to place for a good burger, and the fries pretty much can't be beat side note: if you are lucky enough to get Melvin as a cashier he is probably the nicest guy to ever work in a fast food joint.

When Dog Fight started, we said no chains. But then we started hearing buzz from folks who sang the praises of a mighty dog that held its own at a place known for its burgers and fries. And that's how we ended up taking the fight to Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries. So we packed up the SUV were off to Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries in the Vista. If you've never had a dog there, that's your loss and now we know why. The cashier said their hot dogs are 100% beef, Hebrew National kosher dogs. For those of you who speak Dog Fight, that's the Holy Grail wiener right there. Somehow, Melissa was able to chomp down a few of the gratis peanuts while we waited in line, too. Five Guys splits and grills their dogs and buns. While the menu includes regular dogs, cheese dogs, bacon dogs, and, ahem, bacon cheese dogs, you can add the "hamburger" toppings as well. Grilled or raw onions, ketchup, mustard, grilled mushrooms, you name it. If they put it on a burger you can put in on your hot dog. But that's it for the yapping part of the review, let's get down to the dogs. How the Dog Fight went down. Karen: Five Guys Dog: Hot dog, add mustard and raw onions Jeff: Five Guys Dog: Bacon dog, add grilled onions Melissa: Five Guys Dog: Bacon cheese dog Russell: Five Guys Dog: Bacon cheese dog Julie Five Guys Dog : Bacon cheese dog Dean Five Guys Dog: Bacon cheese dog The Dogs There's just no way for the average dog to compete with what Five Guys offers: the 100% pure beef, kosher Hebrew National hot dog. It's like comparing a filet mignon to a flank steak. They are both good. One just far outclasses the other. Jeff credited the splitting and grilling of the wiener for its great, firm snap. He added that he felt he was in the presence of hot dog greatness. The Toppings Five Guys put bacon on their meatylicious hot dog. And as Russell said, "Seriously, a grilled dog and bun, sauteed onions and bacon...what'ss not to love??" The Packaging Russell felt there was value in Five Guys' foil wrap as it melted his sliced cheese to the perfect gummy consistency. The Verdict According to Jeff, Dog Fight Director of Math and Spreadsheet Maintenance, Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries vaulted up the ranking to claim second place with a score of 26.0. Maybe it should be Five Guys Famous Hotdogs, Burgers and Fries. The bottom line? If you find yourself at Five Guys, don't you dare overlook their hot dog. With cheese. And bacon. This has gotta be the largest Five Guys I have been to before. Great location across from the Hilton and very convenient to shopping along Gervais. Not far from the university either. I got a very friendly greeting from the cashier. Made my day.

This is as good as it gets! A simple Cheese burger with plenty of fresh cut french fries! Nice location, clean restaurant, and the best burgers in SC! For those from the west coast- This is the is the "In N Out" of the East. It would be hard to say which is best?? A "double double animal style" is hard to beat! but...

A very good burger. Nothing fancy. Lots of toppings choices. The freshness comes through in the flavor. Nice, spacious location, with enough windows to keep it comfortable and relaxed.

Grease burgers make world go 'round! And this place knows how to make all that tasty goodness come alive. I always get a cheeseburger and medium fry. They cut their fries fresh daily from whole potatoes and I enjoy their salty seasoning. Grab some of the complimentary peanuts while you wait for your order.

Always fresh and made to your specific order. My daughter asks to eat at 5 Guys at least once a week to get her mushroom burger fix! I love that they offer vinegar for the fries as we like to hook our fries up on the vinegar! The place is always clean which is a super plus.

The best place to get burgers. The portion sizes are HUGE so it is well worth the money. Their fries are "on point" too, to say the least, AND they give you so much. You never leave hungry.
