Horrible! I don't know how this place have three and half stars on Yelp. The food tasted like a bad frozen italian. I will never eat here ever again.

The people here have always been nice and friendly. I do want to give them credit for that. The food is what to expect. I look forward to returning many more times.

Love this place wish we could get ours back in charleston... Everything was amazing but the manager was not nice to his employees (in front of the customers.... The employee was very nice!)

I love Fazoli's! We miss having them in NC! We stopped at this location in/near Columbia on the way to Savannah, GA. Delicious food, especially the breadsticks. My husband and I both got the spaghetti. I always get the Strawberry Italian Ice. Yum yum yum!

The breadsticks are the best I have ever had. They're so delicious! The salad here is really good too with their house dressing. Their food isn't phenomenal but it's really decently priced. Oh, and the breadsticks are unlimited when you sit down and eat!

One word: wow! First of all, the food is just great, and as a college student on a budget, it's pretty awesome the amount of food you get for such a great price. I go for the food but I definitely go back for the service. Everyone there is so friendly, and when I was leaving tonight with my food to go the bag broke, but they were extremely attentive, apologizing as they quickly remade all the food fresh for me and even threw in an awesome free dessert-talk about customer service! I would definitely recommend this place and I'll for sure be going back! Ps-the breadsticks are just amazing

We use to have a Fazoli's nearby, but it closed several years ago. After that, I would go to Fazoli's when we visited Myrtle Beach. Now they are gone. So on a trip to Florida a couple of weeks ago, we stopped by this Fazoli's, and I have to say, it was even better than I remember. I had a meatball sub, that also had pepperonis on it, and it was very good. I still like their garden salad, with the house dressing. My wife had the sample platter, and she liked it.

I started going to Fazoli's many years ago, when they first opened. Now we live where we don't have any, and I certainly miss them. Okay, this isn't gourmet Italian. It's just a limited selection of pasta and sauces at reasonable prices and in a reasonable time. The sauces are flavorful and the pasta is cooked to the perfect al dente texture. We also love the strolling waitstaff with the basket of fresh garlic sticks. The soft buttery sticks are warm and seasoned nicely with butter and salt. The meatballs are big and flavorful with plenty of garlic. I just wish we didn't have to drive hundreds of miles to get our fast Italian "fix."

Fazoli's is what it is: fast, cheap Italian food. Is it the best pasta you will ever eat? Probably not. Is it worth the price you pay? Absolutely! The food is decent, and the prices are cheap. Oh, and the breadsticks are delicious and never ending!

While on a travel day to my next work assignment, I stopped in Columbia during the evening rush hour to get off the highway for a bit, plus have dinner and gas the car. I had heard of this "fast Italian food" restaurant before, but this is the 1st time I had been to one. In case you've never been, you place your order at a counter, just as you would at any fast food restaurant. The menu board shows their offerings, including their version of a value meal (main item, drink, and choice of one slice of pizza or a salad.) If you choose to dine in, you will be handed a number to place on the table and the food is brought to you. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Value Meal with a slice of pizza and sweet tea as my beverage. Food was delivered to the table quickly and piping hot. Food wasn't bad - we know it is most likely pre packaged, pre measured foods that require minimal preparations. The experience gets a two star rating because of the employees. Counter person said exactly two things to me: "May I take your order?" and "Is this dine in or take out?" No "welcome to Fazoli's" or "I will bring your order to your table in a moment." The person that brought the food to the table said even less - as in nothing. She simply took the food off the tray, put it in front of me and walked away.

The people are always nice and friendly. The food is always very good. Not necessarily always fast, but it is always fresh AND good.

When I lived in Buffalo, Fazoli's tried opening a lot of locations there. They all closed within 3 years since there were so many local affordable Italian places. I always liked Fazoli's because it was quick - especially if I was taking a break while delivering pizza or in between my two jobs. I also love the unlimited breadsticks if you dine in. I remembered Columbia had some Fazoli's, and one was on our way back from the zoo so we headed there for dinner. They have combo meals now. I had spaghetti with meat sauce, a salad, and fountain drink while my wife had fettucine alfredo, salad, and drink. It was $15 including tax. The salads were surprisingly fresh - dark green lettuce instead of the usual iceberg. The spaghetti was a step above sauce from a jar with a nice spice to it. And the breadsticks were soft and fresh. Everything's boiled are baked here which was good for me. It still may be fast food, but it's one of the few fast food places where you can actually get something that is close to a real meal (instead of a dinky sandwich and a pound of fries at most places). It's also definitely fast, again - much unlike most "fast" food places. The inside of the building shows its age a little bit but it's still overall clean. I'd go again. The breadsticks are delicious.

It's cheap and fast, so that's good - in a pseudo-Italian fast food kind if way. It's certainly not very healthy and only moderately tasty. The breadsticks are soft and full of that wonderful fake garlic-butteriness. Pizza is not quite DiGiorno quality. Almost, but not quite. Chicken Parm dish contained lukewarm, dry breaded chicken cutlets on a bed of cafeteria spaghetti, all topped with green-flecked marinara and underwhelming mozzarella. All served in an exquisite foil baking dish. Apparently they don't like to give customers trays, and I doubt for eco-friendliness. My breadsticks and pizza were delivered on company wax paper. That's what you get (and a Coke) for a $10 dinner on Two Notch. Surprisingly, though, the salads almost have some substance.

I have a soft spot for Fazoli's as it is a place I would have lunch with my dad often while growing up. This Fazoli's is nothing different than what you would find at any other Fazoli's chain. It is quick, good, unhealthy italian fast-food. Food was warm and good, and unlike a previous reviewer I did get a tray. Pasta, caesar salad, three breadsticks and a drink for $8 is not bad.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
