Decent food. Wasn't crazy about my Eggs Benedict but I'm very picky about hollandaise sauce. Now it did come with a complimentary mimosa which was nice. The falafel pita was delicious. I just wish I hadn't gotten the potatoes with my Eggs Benedict so we could have tried a different side. NFL Sunday and brunch was a good combo.

I went there for dinner tonight with my boyfriend. We ordered the hummus and stuffed grape leaves appetizers. Both were great! I had never had grape leaves before, but it was a great first experience. I would order them again. I got the grilled chicken pita and the chicken was very tender. The service was great as well. I would definitely go back!

The handmade baked chips here r the best..crisp and no grease. The new blonde girl that just started Mother's Day was great! This is my second visit here and my g/friend and I plan to come back for lunch here next week! Wish I lived closer but it's worth the drive out here on weekends and days that I'm on nightshift. There's a bar here and lots of tv's.

This is not a review of the food because we didn't get that far. I will say that I have eaten at the North Charleston location for lunch during the week and the food and service was good. This was my first visit to this location and it was a Sunday afternoon. We came 8n to find the place was pretty empty except for a group that was just finishing up. We seated ourselves and didn't realize that we were in for a long wait. We received our drinks in a timely fashion but our waitress wasn't exactly very attentive to us during our stay. She seemed to be running around all over the place doing odd jobs. There were two other staff members sitting at a table having conversation. We placed our order and began to get a bit restless after 35 minutes. The dish that would've taken the longest to cook was a burger. We saw a dish come up but it turns out that it was for one of the staff members sitting down. We asked for an ETR and was told that it would be another 10 minutes. We didn't buy that and decided to leave. I asked what we owed for the drinks and the waitress was confused and consulted the manager. He seemed rather disgusted and told her to just write it off. The people in my group have never eaten at Manny's and they didn't get to today. One day they will but it won't be at this location.

This is my very first time at Mannys and it was delicious!! The service was not the fastest but it is a very pleasant restaurant and the servers are friendly. We had a basket of Greek fries, delish and huge! I orders the marlon Brando (philly cheesesteak on pita) with Greek salad and it was amaaaazing. My bf ordered bacon cheeseburger with Greek salad and he said he really liked it too. We both had baklava for dessert and it was perfect. We will be back!

My husband and I went here tonight and really liked it. I didn't read the reviews on here before we went, although it looks like a lot of the issues are with delivery. Manny's is a neat place, but they do have a huge menu. So... definitely look at it online before you go. Otherwise it's a bit overwhelming... like really overwhelming! It's pages upon pages of items. I guess that's not a bad thing, you could go every day and never eat the same thing- but it's hard when you're trying to decide on your second trip to a restaurant. The booth we were in had a little TV too, but I couldn't figure out how to work it. I'm sure they'd show us, but if we wanted to eat in front of the TV, we'd do takeout... so we didn't care :). But that's a neat feature if you're into watching the game while you eat. We both started out with side Greek salads, which they brought out with our food. We had to pay $1.99 to upgrade to the Greek salad, which was a little pricey... it only had one olive on the salad but the feta was really good. Don't really think it's worth the upcharge, as it's still a pretty small salad. Salads came pretty quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. Husband had the souvlaki platter, which came with seasoned potatoes and pita bread. He really enjoyed it, and I had the baked cheese ravioli, which I enjoyed. The sauce was a little salty rather than sweet, I got them to make it with marinara rather than meat sauce which is what it usually comes with. The portions were pretty big, both of us had leftovers which is rare lately. Didn't do dessert, but with a $5 off coupon, our bill was still under $30 even after tip and the upcharges for salads. The food was better than the Manny's in North Charleston, at least I felt like it was (he hasn't been there). We'd go back, as it's close and they offer lots of specials, different specials each night of the week.

Warning: This review is not for the weak of heart. If you have not already sat down, please do so. Have a cold glass of water waiting as well. If you are looking for a self service establishment where you seat yourself, serve yourself and pay your own bill, this may be the perfect place for you. I am going to try and recap the evening with a bullet point chronological order listing. Before this evening ended, the review went from 3 stars to almost 0. Yelp does have a minimum rating of 1 and we respect that. * When we arrived, there was no host to greet us and seat us. It was live trivia Sunday, so we spoke to the trivia host and then found a booth. * We ordered a glass of Pinot Noir and specifically asked for a fresh glass from a new bottle. The wine was stale (2 samplers) and clearly had been opened for some time. * We only ordered drinks initially but got 10 napkins, 5 straws and 4 things of silverware. There were only 3 of us and two waters.....Eyes rolling. * We had a server transition after 20 minutes and our waitress told her our new server would be right over. 30 minutes later and 2 wave downs, no server acknowledged us. I found our old server having a salad by the bar and I politely told her that no one had come to our table and we even waved down twice. * Yay we got a free Baklava from Yelp for checking in. Hold all the high fives before you hear more. * My dad ordered tea and baklava and we ordered a gyro. The tea arrived but the baklava did not for 25 minutes when the gyro came. We thought it was implied that tea and baklava go together. * The ceiling tiles in the mens bathroom had extreme water damage. * We asked for Cajun fries with the gyro and got regular fries. * When trivia ended and our table was cleared we didn't get a bill for over 15 minutes. We had to go to the server stand and tell our waiter we were ready to pay. * The baklava was still on the bill and they took one of the wine's off the bill for all the trouble. The problem was, they charged for 3 glasses when we only had two. So we got a courtesy wine but were charged for too many. That is a sum of the evening events. It made for a few laughs as the evening ensued. As a dining experience, This was an epic fail. We won a gift card and have extra on there, but don't plan on returning to use it.

I don't even live in Charleston anymore. Sorry, lost your chance to make it right. Also are you seriously correcting an issue that happened THREE years ago just to make your yelp look better?

4 stars because of a combination of price and flavor. Just on taste, for the gyro, I give it a 3, but it was substantial and inexpensive and that makes a difference. We also got some wings, which were good, not great, but good and a good price too. Wings are pretty sizable and 6 would be plenty. Drink prices are insane - $2.75 for vodka and it wasn't happy hour! This alone gets their rating bumped up a little. It's hard to find good drink prices and may end up being a more regular spot just for an after work drink. I've had better gyros and I've had much worse. Overall, I will go back. Parking is easy and the price fits the bill - pun intended.

The occasion was wonderful. USA vs. Germany. Met the wife after getting an e-mail from them while I was trying to figure out where to go to see the game. 20 or more TVs. Great view. By halftime the place was full and everyone was fully into the game. We sat at the bar. Great spot for what we were doing. $3 imports which worked out great for us. Heck, when I checked in with Yelp I got a free Hummus App or Baklava if you bought a Pita sandwich. The appetizer hit the spot. Perfect, plenty of food, and the vegetables accompanying it really made for a great start. We ordered the Gyro and some sort of Chicken Gyro. The chicken gyro was just not good. My wife gave me half which I took a bite and just left it. The Gyro was better but still only so so. The meat was not as good as I have had here. Maybe not quite cooked or seasoned enough. We got fries with it and they were really only so so. Not worth the extra paid. Our bartender was overwhelmed but really did a great job considering the large crowd. The game was great to watch there. I may even go back for the next USA match. But not sure what to order next. Hummus for sure and Imports if on special for sure. They had half price burgers but at a greek place thought better of. Regretting that decision. Maybe next time.

I was delivered a pizza that was delivered to me very soggy and burnt on top! I asked for my $ back but they refused me $15. It also came to me an hour and 15 min later. Honestly the pizza I recieved from Dominoes came 25 minutes later and it was so much better than they could ever achieve!!!

Went to manny and got the pork chop. All i can say is large potion for the price its worth. Although I dont think its much different than other places in taste but its a good place to fill your stomach and cheap. Will maybe try again sometime.

Never order from Manny's for delivery. We ordered online for delivery and more than an hour later, way more than an hour later, the pizza came cold. Not warm but completely cold. We called and spoke to the manager and he made no apologies and did not offer to make it right. DO NOT order from them for delivery. It's not worth the money you'll spend.

Mousaka!! Ignore the complainers and go to this treasure for the fantastic Greek food and funky atmosphere. It's just a great neighborhood restaurant. Great fresh salad with tangy classic Greek dressing. I had to take home half the mousaka because the portion was so huge. It was delicious. Can't wait for them to open downtown on George Street!

the service at this place sucks!!!!!! i cant even make a complaint with a manager because of it being a family business!! the customer service was horrible from a fat ugly waitress name mia and a fat bold headed manager name tina!!!! first of i had to call twice for someone to even pick up the phone, then i was told my order would only take 15 mins when in reality it took 40 mins!!"!!!!! there was only 10 people dinning in the restaurant when i arrived so it behooved me on why it took soooooo long! then when i arrive there was an older women who was a different race from me that had just placed her order at the bar and received her food 5 mins after sitting at the bar. not once did the fat ugly racist waitress apologize for the wait or cared to ask me if i wanted something to drink while waiting!!! also when i finally got my food n started driving, i checked my food, there was hair in my food n bacon on my french fries, which i did not ask for!!!!!! this was the worst restaurant experience i ever received in charleston sc!!!! when o expressed my concerns to the manager she asked me what did i want stupid waitress to do with a snarl on her face, looking hideous!! i sware never eat at this restaurant in townes square.... i give this place 5 thumbs down!!!!! poooooooor and racist service!!!!!!. if u must eat mannys please go to the one on east montague they are truly better!!!!

I like this place, especially on Monday evenings (half priced pizza!). The atmosphere is great, several TV's showing sports, news, etc. Wi-fi available, very good service, the food is good, decent patrons, a good place to come and hang out, have a meal or beer. I don't get the negative reviews. It's a great neighborhood place.

Went for the monday half price pizza deal. Pizza was fine, nothing amazing. It's half price, so there you go. Also ordered a Greek salad. Ingredients? Decent slice of so-so feta, very light colored romaine lettuce, chopped tomatoes, onions, carrots(?), cucumbers and some mostly olive oil flavorless dressing. Kalmata olives? Nope. Pepperoncini? Nope. Red onions? Nope. Asked the server about it when she offered to bring your check. She said oh it didn't have those, it's supposed to. Any offer to take anything off the bill? Nope. Missed opportunity to keep me as a customer? Yes. And yes, only because I've given them a few chances, and this was the last one.

Another disappointing food adventure in Charleston. My wife and I have been excited to try this place for a while based on recommendations from a friend. It's about a 45 minute trip each way so we finally carved out some time and made it down here. We both ordered a Gyro since we've been trying to find a good solid Gyro since moving from Seattle a year ago. The food was brought out very quickly and at first glance the plate made me a little nervous. Each plate had about 1/2 a bag of ruffles dumped on it. Who serves Ruffles with Gyros? Anyway, we dove in and immediately were disappointed. The rundown: Flavorless meat that couldn't have been more than 1/8 lamb, some white sauce that definitely wasn't Tzatziki, and some type of dry wheat pita. Absolutely terrible. We were barely able to choke them down. Don't bother going here if you are looking for Greek in the Summerville/Charleston area. Here are two much better options (although not without their issues): OPA Cafe (Dorchester RD, Summerville) Continental Corner Greek (Downtown Summerville)

I live just right around the corner from Manny's and want it to be a great local joint to hang out in and grab a bite. I have tried several dishes on numerous occasions and just can't make my dream true. They have good lunch specials until 2pm. My last try was at 2:15 with no specials. There were two tables and the prices were three times as high from lunch. The food was average at best which made it all more disappointing. I would have enjoyed a PB&J driving in my car.

I wish Manny's would just be Greek. Everytime I stray away to something american I wish I hadn't. Delivery takes about an hr as the website says. Food was warm but We found our extra side of fries to be over cooked. Next time I will stick to the Greek that they rock out !

As good as it gets for Greek food in Charleston, SC. Would be better if they pushed the dinning options envelope a little more. I had not been back here in over 12 years. In my college days this was a favorite watering hole and to be honest it was very comfortable and had not changed much in twelve years. That could be good or could be bad depending. The Hummus with Tomatoes and Cucumbers was good, The Gyro and fried potatoes was tasty. we went for a late lunch so it was not too busy, the server was attentive and efficient, not engaging at all, but oh well. I would still go back. (anybody want to open a Greek/Italian restaurant in Chucktown would give them a run for their money)

I've been to Manny's many a times over the years, and I really want to give them a better rating. I love Greek food and have been spoiled with excellent Greek in DC. After returning to Charleston, I feel a bit disappointed with their selection. As someone else mentioned, service is hit or miss. Our last server felt compelled to remind us that every additional side of sauce would be 25 cents. Which price wise, it's fine....but they already start off with crappy portion sizes. Gyro meat is small in portion and overcooked Baklava was freaking small for the price of 3.99 Grilled Cheese- was a piece of bread and slice of American cheese toasted to a burnt perfection. Wings were decent. If anything, this place is cool to grab a cheap beer and watch the sports on their many flat screen TVs.

Good food and plenty of TVs are the reasons to head out to Manny's tonight. Hit or miss service is the reason to stay home. I keep going back to Manny's again and again because it really is just so tasty, and the price's are pretty good, too. There's an admirable selection of beer and spirits, and plenty of space. Some of the booths even have a little TV right there so you can watch your own favorite show while you eat. If you like a team from a different part of the country (read: someone other than USC or Clemson) Manny's is probably going to have a TV with that game on. They easily have two dozen. Virtually inescapable, which could be a bad thing depending on your point of view. I like Manny's. But sometimes the server I get is shitty. Whew boy, do I get a real stinker every once in a while. Mostly they're pretty good, though. I believe the place is family run. Check it out.

I would give them zero stars if I could. We ordered a very simple delivery order (wings, chicken fingers, and fries) at 5:53 PM. We were told it would be about an hour. At 7:15 we called to check on the status of our order and we were told that it would be arriving "any minute." Fifteen minutes later the delivery driver called and told us he would be here in five minutes. Another fifteen minutes later we called back to check on our order again and spoke to the manager. He did apologize for the wait but blamed it on the kitchen having a lot of delivery orders at the same time. This is understandable but they shouldn't have told us it would be an hour initially. He didn't offer to discount our order and seemed rather annoyed to take our call. Shortly after the conversation ended the delivery driver showed up. The chicken was hot but the fries were soggy and not edible. The driver did take $10 off our order but considering the wait time and lack of concern from the manager, we will not be using Manny's delivery again and we won't be dining at the restaurant either.
