My family and I prefer this place over T's, and although scramblers does not have the new modern feel of other places it's also nothing like some dirty dinner. The staff have always been pleasant and courteous to us. Now that I have commented to the the contrary of many post I read earlier. I will say this is a low key restaurant that has a family friendly environment. They always have daily specials, the food is good and the prices are reasonable.

Please beware the same thing just happened to me. I visited the restaurant yesterday for take out. My total was 22 dollars I didn't not tip as it was take out. I have just checked my bank account balance and they charged me 26. I have all of my receipts and have contacted my bank and the rhode island attorney general. Apparently I am not the only one this has happened to. They are knowingly stealing money from they patrons and this is not right.

Nothing special, kind of got that dirty diner feel and my pancakes were burnt. I'de rather go to T's down the road...

Pancakes and waffles are always fresh and fluffy. Their roast beef dinner special is amazingly tender and juicy. Fish n chips on Fridays - crisp fresh and a huge potion. Slaw and tartar sauce made in house. Lunch my fave is the tuna club on Rye. Corned beef is also made in house and excellent with eggs over easy! I've known most of the wait staff for over 9 years. Great service! Quick to fill your coffee and get you anything else to make your meal complete.

The breakfast here was very good, I got the Apple French toast and the portions we're so huge that I had leftovers for 2 more meals! The waitress was somewhat rude though, which takes away from being a perfect breakfast experience.

Very rood staff is all that I can say here! We were looking forward to a nice meal after visiting Starbucks for a coffee. When greeted by the hostess she barked "you can't bring THOSE drinks in here!" I have been in the restaurant business my entire life and I am just in utter shock that any owner would staff such a nasty person! Too bad I even have to give one star...

Came here on our way to do some Xmas shopping at garden city. I immediately thought I'd been here because its a converted IHOP. We were seated quickly, greeted with a very friendly waitress and given some coffee. There is nothing bad about this place, but nothing great aside from the service. Our food came out in less than 5 minutes and our coffees were replenished regularly. If you're in the area, give them a try. Won't be disappointed.

Fantastic! Great service, decent parking if you go after the weekend breakfast post church rush. A real homey feel to it, and in an A-frame! Lots of regulars and adorable elderlies. The food is what you'd expect, and it's done right. They fry their english muffins-love that, the potatoes are really good, and there is just the right ratio of salt and butter on the toast. Used to be an IHOP where my teenage self nursed many a cup o'joe for hours on end.

Good place for a lazy weekend breakfast! There's standard greasy spoon breakfast fare here - eggs & toast, pancakes, waffles, etc. My wife & I come here once a month.
