Yelp was very useful in helping us find a new restaurant to try. I used it to decide whether or not to buy the Groupon, to get directions to the restaurant, and to see what event was scheduled for tonight. It was good to know that there would be live entertainment this evening. The music was good (and loud) but knowing beforehand helped us pick a table further back in the restaurant where we could enjoy the show at a safe distance. This was our first visit and we definitely want to come again. We were warmly greeted by the hostess, Christine and after a short wait we were seated and served by Patty (THESE LADIES ARE GREAT). Okay, for my pros and cons: Pros: -warm and very attentive service (thank you again, Patty) -very accommodating to our diet needs/special requests -everything on the table was clean (I didn't see any critters like a previous Yelper, but we weren't seated by a wall either) -the band was actually really good. They performed a variety of genres and I tapped my feet all night long -our food was very tasty and well cooked -they were busy - every table and every space around the bar was full - this is a good thing Cons: -they were out of two items from the appetizer section and out of the cupcake meatloaf...on a Friday night...like, that should not happen -the music was a bit loud, but this a minor complaint. I love live music! Overall, we really had a good dining experience. I think if you come with the expectation of enjoying a nice, no frills evening out at a local establishment you'll like it too.

My favorite place in to eat when I visit Rhode Island. Great food, excellent service and a very fun enjoyable atmosphere. From seafood to Italian they have it all. If it's not on the menu ask they will make it, very talented chef.

A friend and I came here last night for the first time. The food was good and the service was decent. We split the grilled pear salad to start, which was delicious, and the kitchen was nice enough to split it onto two plates for us, which we didn't ask for, but was very appreciated. After that, I had margarita pizza and my dining companion got the steak sandwich, which came with french fries. The pizza was really good. It has a nice, almost crepey crust that was very light, but also very filling. I enjoyed it a lot. My friend said her steak sandwich was good, but not quite medium rare, though they way it was cooked would make it hard to get to medium rare. I don't eat meat, so just take her word on that one. Our server was prompt with the beer refills and very attentive--except when it came time to get the check. When she brought my last drink, she had already boxed up our leftovers, and my friend had declined another beer. I told her I had a groupon, and asked if she wanted it now, or after getting the bill ready--trying to imply that it was time to get the bill ready. She said it didn't matter, so I got it out and laid it on the table for her to grab the next time she came by. Unfortunately, she decided to wipe down all of the tables around us rather than bring us our bill. Finally, she came and got it and brought the check, but then another 10 minutes passed before she took my friend's card and finally let us leave. By that point, I was done with my drink and we had nothing keeping us there. We just wanted to go, but couldn't! I do not understand why waitstaff ever hesitate to bring the bill and promptly take the card at the end of the meal. All of the cleanup work she was doing could have easily been done once we were gone, and we did not need that much time to let the bill just sit with the card in it on the table. I didn't want to have to wave the credit card at her or yell for her attention, cause that makes me super uncomfortable (I try not to be an asshole), but the card was sticking out of the check holder and at the edge of the table, which I was told in my days as a server is the universal symbol for "please run my card so I can leave". So that ended our evening on a decidedly down note. The food was good, the tap beers ample and a good variety, but for god's sake, please be prompt with dropping the check and running cards! If I have no food or drink left, it's time to leave the restaurant--please let me go!

This was a very good burger, My girlfriend had the chicken and she enjoyed it also. I will be back soon.

I returned for a quick bite one evening and was pleasantly surprised to find they have live music on Wednesdays and some weekends. I also had a Ruben, it was excellent! The meat was lean and it was perfectly toasted. I may just become a regular.
(4)Lizanne B.
This review is only for take out...I had the veggie wrap with chicken-absolutely awesome....and the sweet potato fries...oh my gosh....my absolute fav. My husband enjoyed his margarita pizza, and my mother loved her salad.
(4)Abby C.
I love the completed renovations, especially the patriotic themed wall. I ordered one of my fav burgers, the berube. Still delicious...egg, bacon, cheese and onion strings on top. It was a chilly day when I came here for lunch with my dad; so he got the beef stew. He had never tried it before and said it was perfect. Still a neighborhood favorite for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Revolution tonight. I have driven past many times and was never inclined to eat here. I'm not sure if it was the name? Or maybe just the fire colored awning? It just didn't peak my interest. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at the comfortable atmosphere of the bar area (we like to sit at the bar usually but it was full). We split the chicken Milanese which we both thought was delicious! Perfect for a chilly, rainy night. Before leaving, we ordered some salted caramel cake to go. The cake was wonderful.. Moist, light and fluffy, not too sweet. The icing was very light as well unlike a lot of places that have sickeningly sweet, dense, heavy frostings. Although it cost 7 dollars for a very small slice, I don't regret ordering it at all. We can't wait to go back and try some of the other lovely sounding dishes!
(4)Darlene W.
If there were a negative rating on Yelp, I would select it. I was excited to go because our last experience had been terrible, but they had a new awning and a new name. So we thought, "Wow, great! Someone has taken over L'Attitude. Maybe it will be better this time!" Nope. How wrong we were. Why? Let's see, was it the: a) cockroach crawling on the wall near our table during our entire meal? b) overpriced, overdone, chewy steak? c) wilted, moldy lettuce in my salad? d) complete lack of heating? e) all of the above? Needless to say, we will never be back. It turns out that the awning and name were the only things that changed. In a word? Revolting.
(1)David G.
This is a reasonable neighborhood place for an informal meal despite the owner's predilection for absurd names for his restaurant. The previous name "L'attitude" didn't work either. The burgers are excellent. My primary complaint is that it is very noisy and this problem has worsened with the recent remodeling. The open plan allows the shouting from the bar to dominate the entire place and the new brick wall along the dining room bounces all sounds back at diners.
(3)Lori A.
Great neighborhood spot for good eats and drinks. Plus, my steak and burgers get cooked perfectly! The Berube Burger is a must try with a nice spicy mayo, onion strings, and a fried egg on top! The Steak au poivre was very tasty! Bartenders are super friendly and the entree specials are always thoughtfully crafted! And the floors are brand new and beautiful in the dining room!

I've got mixed feelings about this place. My experience here was not the best, although I was pretty impressed with the food. I went with my friends for trivia night, because they were hosting a double points night as part of a big tournament. If you're a place that's going to host a busy event like this... be prepared! They were totally NOT. The trivia host was unable to wire into the house sound system, and the acoustics in here were so bad that she was inaudible from our table. To make matters worse, there was a speaker RIGHT ABOVE our table that was playing OTHER MUSIC. We looked around and saw no other speakers in the entire place and were totally puzzled. We asked TWICE for the speaker to be turned off and our request was ignored by management even after our waitress asked them for us several times. Our waitress offered to move us to another table just in time for the music round, which was appreciated, but at that point it was a bit too late. We put down several incorrect answers because we did not hear the questions correctly in the first few rounds. We ended up getting no points towards the tournament, and I was pretty sour about it because we kind of went out of our way to come here and got nothing out of it. However, the food was REALLY good and was almost (but not really) enough for me to forgive them for the crappy trivia experience. I had the sweet & spicy plum glazed wings, which were really delicious and juicy. The sauce was more of a sweet & sour than a sweet & spicy though, but maybe that's just my palette. I also got an order of their sweet potato fries, which were out of this world and had just the right amount of sea salt sprinkled on them. My boyfriend got the clamcakes and chowder, which he really enjoyed. The chowder had tons of clams and the broth was tasty. Our table also split two different flatbread pizzas, which were amazing. The toppings and seasonings on both were just right, and the crust was delicious and crispy. I would totally go back again just for the pizzas. We also shared a peanut butter pie for dessert, and loved it. They only offered us a wine list; no beer list or cocktail menu. The wine list was really pricey (the cheapest glass being $8 -- ouch), so we were scared to order any drinks at all and stuck with soda and water. The water glasses they gave us were way too small, and I felt bad for the busboy that had to keep coming by to refill us. Our server was a total sweetheart though, and did her best to make our evening enjoyable. I really appreciated her being so nice when I was in such a sour mood. I do agree with other Yelpers that this place has a bit of an identity crisis. The pub area was great, and I would have liked the place more if the rest of the atmosphere was like that. The dining room was weird; kind of a bistro, kind of Italian-y, kind of diner-y -- I couldn't really tell what they were going for. If I'm in the area I will totally go back, because the food was fabulous. But dear god I will NEVER go out of my way for a trivia night here ever again, double points or not!
(3)Michaela B.
Revival Brewing Company beer dinner here and everything was great! Love the atmosphere and the food was so delicious! Thanks Dean for a great night!
(5)Bill M.
We have been here several times over the last few months and find the food and service to be good. prices are fair , the atmosphere is nice and service has always been decent, Tonight we had a waitress (Erin) and she provided excellent service, checking on us regularly and refilling our drinks and offered additional cocktail sauce when she saw that it was low. Keep up the good work! BM
(4)Dustin S.
This is American food done right! I had the cod cakes as a starter and they hit the spot "a little spice but I like it that way". This is a place you can come and relax and have a good time. The bar is separate from the dining room so you don't have much of a carry over so that makes it great for family or if you just want to go to the bar. The atmosphere is great and you will be welcome from the time you walk in to the time you leave. They treat you like part of their community, because you are. This is a great place to go for great food and great atmosphere. I will be going back and that's saying a lot because there are so many places to go.
(5)Lisa M.
You know, I like good food. This place has good food. But exceptional? Idk. Depends on the order. Tonight I had Tree Hugger Chicken Parm. Second time ordering this dish. And I'm not sure if this is pink sauce, but it tastes like Chef Boyardee sauce on Spaghetti-Os. Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed this plate completely, but I cannot change the reminiscent flavor to the magical Chef.
(4)Matt K.
Pawtuxet Village dining at it's best! It's easily my favorite place to eat in the village. Don't be fooled by the name change. Same great owner serving up the great dishes were accustomed to with a few twists and some great daily specials. The tree hugger chicken parm is one of my faves, but it's hard to go wrong! Friendly bar and wait staff that have truly become friends. Live bands some nights, and trivia night on Thursdays. It's always a good time and great food and drinks!
(5)Susan L.
I was shocked when I went into this restaurant. Decor used to be so warm & intimate when it was formally called L'Latitudes. It was disturbing , with a 4th of July, Party Store decor. Why not keep the original decor ? Incorporate some Gaspee & Pawtuxet Village photos, rather than this garish "American " look? Food was not very good either. I'm shocked & disappointed.
(1)Tara P.
This place is awesome, great food, menu is huge and everyone is so nice! We sat at the bar for dinner and The bartenders Erin and Eric were great!
(5)Alison O.
Great food and location, always friendly service. Nightly specials. Entertainment most nights.
(5)Stephanie G.
We live in the neighborhood and have been going here on and off for years. The food is usually good (but not great), the decor dated, and the ambiance laid back and friendly. Generally, it's been a reliable neighborhood joint. Today we went and found a new menu, an extra friendly vibe, Dean back in the kitchen, and homemade desserts made by a new pastry chef. Our food was really good - watermelon salad with feta, cupcake meatloaf, and a Salmon BLT. The chocolate bomb dessert was extra special. I'm reserving my judgement for a second visit with the new menu but hope to be bumping it up a star (or two).
(3)Carly E.
Based on their menu, I thought we were going to a nice place. Their menu featured some high end items that made me think we were going to have a wonderful experience. Man, was I wrong. Now, maybe it was my mistake to choose a restaurant in Pawtuxet Village on Gaspee Days weekend, but honestly it probably wouldn't have made a difference. We walked in and were seated immediately, but the place was dirty and drabby. There was a group of rowdy people in the dining area, and they should have been moved to the bar area. They were CLEARLY disturbing other guests, and what made it worse was when we would look over at them, we would see OUR server and other staff members sitting with them. Embarrassing. We were seated right under a load speaker, and right under an extremely dirty and dusty vent. Our food took a long time considering we were the only diners in the place for the most part. I will say, that my food was very good. I ordered the oyster roll and it was buttery but not greasy, and very flavorful. My father in law asked for no onions on his steak sandwich, and he got onions. Also, it was very strange the way that our server took our order. She would remember the order in her head, but then keep walking away as we would order. As we were leaving we saw a poor elderly couple seated directly in the middle of the restaurant and right near those loud people. I didn't think our experience could get any worse, but imagining how their experience was - I'm sure theirs was worse than ours. In conclusion, don't let the menu fool you. The menu contains high end dishes, but you walk in and you are in a gross college-like bar. I will never return here or suggest it.
(2)Larry C.
My wife. And I visited Revolution for first time today. We were very pleased with our food choices and we were well taken care of by our waitress, Annmarie. Will definitely be returning soon.
(4)Desirae D.
Food was fantastic, husband had a burger cooked a perfect medium rare. I had linguini and red clam sauce. We struggled to figure out who's was better. Waitress was very nice and food was reasonably priced. The one thing that was a little odd was the owner/manager? going around chatting with everyone, was a little bizarre but I guess it's nice if your a regular; made it feel a bit less intimate for a date night. Overall if I'm the area again will definitely return.
(5)Mary J.
I live and work in the neighborhood and try to schedule as many meetings as I can in Pawtuxet Village--I'm always surprised that the folks I'm meeting are unaware of this part Cranston/Warwick--it's a beautiful and historic spot and there are lots of new places opening up here alongside some old favorites. I met a colleague at Revolution for lunch last week, it was one of those gorgeous warm October days so we sat outside. Revolution is new (where L'Attitudes used to be) and a good addition to the neighborhood. The menu included burgers, salads and sandwiches for lunch, plus entrees for those looking for a more substantial meal. The veggie wrap was fresh and the veggies were crisp, not soggy. We opted for the greens rather than chips, which was a nice alternative and well dressed. At lunch, it wasn't swamped with customers and the service was fine.
(4)Elena N.
I came here for a dinner party. Apparently the place has undergone some recent changes, and I have nothing but good things to say. Judging by previous reviews, the staff was supposedly lackluster, but when I was there everyone was friendly and attentive. A very comfortable atmosphere. I feel the restaurant had a nice well balanced menu, with plenty of shining star selections. We had quite a few appetizers that were all delicious (calamari, quesadillas, shrimp cocktail). I'd ordered the jumbo seared sea scallops with lump crab succotash for my entree. It was delightful. I would never have thought to put those two together on a plate, but they complimented each other very well. I didn't even pay attention to the potatoes on the plate, sorry. There was excellent live music, and enough room to dance and mingle. Overall, a great success.
(4)Denise D.
Dinner was excellent as always - The salmon was superb - Shout out to Erin for excellent service
(5)Emily A.
I love this place. I moved to the neighborhood 2 months ago and I have already eaten here about 5 times. The selection and prices are good and everything I have ordered has had excellent flavors. I have a gluten allergy and I was out with a friend with a serious shellfish allergy. The owner, Dean came out and asked us questions about our allergies and made sure everything was made separately. The drink menu and beer list are also pretty good, and all of the servers I have had are friendly. The decor is not my taste, but I respect the authenticity of the place. It's not pretending to be anything but a neighborhood restaurant, and it's just about perfect at that.
(5)Mary P.
Pleasently surprised at the new changes. The food was so good, great presentation, clean and wholesome. The waiter George made such a difference with a sweet smile, suggestions off the menu and he was very attentive. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and decor. The owner was even so attentive walking through the establishment and greeting patrons. Highly recommended... And I am picky.
(5)Sarah I.
The food was very good, but they need to train their waitstaff. The service was very slow and because it was busy the place seemed overwhelmed. Half the table waited for their drinks, apps came out at different times... not well executed. I wouldn't bring someone you were trying to impress here, at least not on a weekend. We waited far too long for food. At least we were comped one drink... I think they need to train staff more thoroughly before they allow them to work busy shifts.
(3)Monika N.
Food is good. Some of it's real good. The service sucks, takes forever for you to get noticed to be seated, forever for your server to come to you, forever for the drinks to come, forever for the meal to come. Limited beer selection, I have never tried a cocktail. The ambience is bizarre. The decor seems to be striving for causal elegance, but the staff kill it with their lackluster and bored style. I once felt like I was annoying my waitress. And sometimes, the crowd just seems to be a bunch of entitled white yuppies and if you're not "one of them," you feel like you're an invader. Anyway, it's not a place I'll frequent, but some other people may love it. The food is good, so I'd say give it a shot (hence the three stars).
(3)Greg E.
I came her for dinner trying to find a place for me and my mom to go because she is in town. Can across the modern eatery and it looked like a really great restaurant. Walked inside and my mind was changed a bit. It seemed like a broken down bar in the front of the restaurant and in the back was the dining room. I'm gonna be honest I wasn't impressed with the atmosphere of the dining room it just seemed kind of dull and sad. Our waiter was really nice and really caring and had a smile and a positive attitude every-time he came around. So our waiter wasn't the problem. It just seemed like the service of the staff didn't match the look of the restaurant if you know what I mean. The mood just didn't match. I didn't exactly enjoy my burger either. It was cooked right but the cheese was a bit spicy which I didn't really like. I mean overall I enjoyed the restaurant maybe take a date there sometime but they could do better
(3)Wendy S.
I have been here about 8 times in the past 5 years. The food has always been mediocre with occasional flashes of greatness on their menu. This was not one of those nights. It's not a place I normally think of but a friend had a gift certificate, so we decided to go. We were greeted warmly when we arrived. It was pretty empty, but it was only 5 pm on a Tuesday. The bar had more people around it, enjoying the end of the work day. The walls are painted a warm brick color and the pictures create a welcoming atmosphere. However, they need to replace the horrible oilcloth or plastic tablecloths and replace the badly stained and dark rug. It would go a long way in finishing that warm Mediterranean feel they are going for. We started with complementary onion focaccia bread, with a oil mix made of balsamic vinaigrette, goat cheese(?), re pepper flakes. It was served awkwardly in a small soup cup with a big spoon to get it out. It was too tart for me, but the bread was good. This time I stepped away from the basic menu and decided to go with one of the specials. I had the baked shrimp and andouille sausage with broccoli rabe, banana peppers and chopped tomatoes over penne or rigatoni pasta with provolone cheese. It came out looking very good. It had a good flavor, there were 5 big shrimp on top covered with the cheese, but there were WAY too many banana peppers and the broccoli rabe was not cooked enough so was impossible to cut (it was served in long pieces) or chew. The andouille sausage was good and was complemented by the light tomato sauce. However, I did not think it was worth $17. It also came without anything and a side salad costs $6. Not worth it. They should look at dinner salads if they want people to not order burgers, sandwiches and appetizers. My friend had the penne ala vodka and said it was pretty good. She lives in the village and only comes in occasionally as it can get loud at night at the bar. I do expect to pay more in the village and don't mind, but I want it to be good. Some of their specials range $16-23. That's fine, but I do have a problem when a dish costs that and no sides are offered. The mahi-mahi which is grilled , comes with roasted corn salsa. Period per the server. I agree with another reviewer- it does suffer from an identity crisis. Are you a bistro? A local bar with bar food? Upscale dining? The prices reflect the latter, but the atmosphere and food quality reflect the first 2 . I am going to treat it as a local bar/bistro and stick to those foods. The burgers are fine and the calamari is good. But there are numerous places with those foods, so I don't think I'll be back for a long time. What a shame.
(2)Myra K.
I've been meaning to write this review for awhile...my husband and I met up with a friend for dinner a few months ago. We had been wanting to try it out and were looking forward to it. We got an amazing Brie appetizer and devoured it--it was delicious. Our friend got onion soup and said it was so good, until she fished out a cockroach . We were so skeeved out and when we showed it to our waitress she didn't seem that surprised. We asked for her to make sure the manager or owner was notified and we left. Ew. Too bad...
(1)Karen V.
I have been coming to Lattitudes on and off for dinner and lunch over a number of years. After a long hiatus I had the pleasure of having dinner there on 8/28/14. It is undergoing a major face lift which was sorely needed and it looks like it's going to be really nice when it's finished. I was so glad to see that the menu is new with some really good choices. I eat a lot of fish and seafood and the blackened swordfish caught my eye immediately. We split a Caesar salad which was so so,no big deal, however the swordfish was out of this world. Perfectly cooked, fresh with an orange sauce blackened just a bit to make it extra tasty. My friend had the salmon which was also done perfectly . Rick tried to tempt us with the chocolate bomb but we resisted since we are watching our weight. The decaf was freshly brewed by the lovely Ilea who took great care of us. I look forward to returning soon and enjoying another new menu item. The food is much improved and the dining room will look great(especially when that ugly leopard rug goes). If you are in the village stop by and have some good food and see all the positive changes.
(4)Barbara M.
Have been twice, and have gotten completely different items - all meals are amazing!!! Last night Casey did a great job quickly fixing a slight problem. Can't wait to go back again!!
(5)Jean S.
Great night at Revolution! We had an amazing waitress. Thank you to Casey for taking care of our large party.
(5)Marikate N.
one of my faves wish they had hummus (spicy hummus)
(4)Luke B.
About 8 months ago, we ate at L'attitude's and had such a mixed experience that we decided not to go back. Recently, we heard they'd made some changes, and with visitors in town we gave it another chance. The food was so good, that we went again later in the week and same thing, AMAZING. Apparently, they have a new chef. Everything that we tried was super tasty. Maybe it's due to the recent addition of Sweet Indulgence, the renovation at Basta's and Felinni's moving in, but L'attitude's has really stepped up their game. The last two times we've ordered the Scallop appetizer, the beat salad, the crab cakes, the chowder, the Margerita pizza and the Broad St Pizza. We would recommend all of them, but am looking forward to discovering the rest of their menu next time.
(5)Bob P.
Love it here! Great low key spot with awesome food! Just had the spinich salad and it's amazing! Not your mommas boring salad. Very great prices and they have something going on almost every night. One of Rhode Islands hidden gems.
(5)Mike C.
Went there for a dinner with my date. Started with drinks from the bar - frozen mudslide and white wine. For appetizers, we tried their beef quesadilla special and their sweet plum wings. OMG - both were extremely delicious! My date had their bare naked hamburger which she commented that is was very good for being a plain burger. I tried their sausage pizza and while good, could have been cooked a bit more for my liking, but overall, extremely delicious. No room for dessert. We will be back.
(4)Gary H.
Well, the food is OK but to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes for a grilled pizza and a surf and turf is a deal breaker. The meal was not worth the wait. If it was custom food ordered, I could cut some slack, but this is from a menu and only 50% of the seats were occupied. I suggest you go somewhere that values your time to support their business. BTW this was a Saturday night. Date night. Don't go there.
(1)Lyndsy C.
I've been going to L'Attitudes for almost 10 years. Up until a few years ago, they would have stayed at 5 stars from me. Here's why. This place suffers from an identity crisis. Are you a bistro? A local bar? Upscale dining? The prices suggest the latter, while the loud atmosphere and food quality reflect the first 2. The food quality has gone south, while prices have actually doubled. Bring back the homemade clamcakes and chowder for $3.99!
(2)Sergio D.
food had plenty of flavor and the wait was not bad at all. the location is great but find parking can be a bit of a disaster.
(2)Vinny G.
Great service and consistently good food. Make sure to sit at the bar with Tiffany for a great experience.
(4)Colleen M.
We've been going to L'Attitude frequently for about 10 years but stopped because we'd had some bad experiences with the service. We gave it another shot recently because the food had always been consistently good. We had a really nice time. The food, as always, was great and our server was fantastic. The roasted beet salad was HUGE and very tasty. The pizza was good as were the fish and chips. I thought the fish was a little salty but the kids loved it. L'Attitude is one of the best places to eat in the Village if the service is good. We'll be back again soon.
(4)Grace M.
I don't see the appeal of this place at all. Entree prices are way too high for what it is. Pizzas and sandwiches more reasonably priced but just boring. Server was pleasà nt but screwed up the order and we were the only table he had! Decor is run down and dated looking. I guess it's the location that keeps them in business.
(1)Alozie N.
Great time at Thursday night Trivia with Melanie and the crew at L'Attitude tonight. It's fast become one of my favorite weekly outings! Great food, drinks, and service, and the best trivia host in Provi! Only wish they'd bring back the Lobster Mac and Cheese special! Oh I miss it so!!!
(4)Karen S.
My husband and I have been here a few times and its ok. Food and service are decent and the drinks are good. The last time we went my husband had the salmon and he thought it was really good. I had the jambalaya and it was OK, but not a big wow. I've had better jambalaya in many other places. I just wish they had a few more menu options.
(3)George S.
Been going here for sometime now and for the most part it's a good place to have dinner and a drink. There are a lot of regulars in the place and the bar gets packed pretty quickly and on a Friday night it's almost impossible to get a seat. The food is good and the portions are fine and the service was good. Most of the time I go there I have the fresh fish and it's normally very good. Great local restaurant.
(3)Kaitlin M.
Tiffany and Malia are awesome! They are super attentive and make the best drinks. So awesome love it here!
(5)Leah C.
Good food and exciting specials. Good bar atmosphere especially The delightful bartender Tiffany. Great spot in Pawtuxet village.
(4)Jillian G.
Awesome food! Charismatic bar tender (ask for Tiffany) the barube burger was amazing!!!!!!
(4)Kathy C.
One of our favorite places in the Village. We have been going there for years and will continue to do so. If you want your food cooked a specific way they will accommodate you. Casual and comfortable spot in the village. Kathy and Ron

L'attitude is an ok place to go if you're in Pawtuxet Village, but it's a bit pricey and the service is terrible! Several of us went to dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. It took nearly 45 minutes just to place our order and once we received our food, we had to hunt the server down to order additional drinks/get the bill/etc. The burger was cooked well and reasonably priced. I also tasted the margherita pizza which was very good. The spinach dip is ok and comes with plenty of pita to share. I've been to L'attitude to play trivia before and would definitely say the bar atmosphere is more fun than the actual restaurant. The restaurant is dark and would probably be better for an intimate date than for a group of friends.

Why don't we come here more?? I can never remember- we always have such a good meal. Swung by with a party of 5 last week and had a great experience. Food came out fast, service was good and dining room wasn't too loud (we were with some elderly family members). Grilled scallops with balsamic and asparagus as an app was super, and had the calamari and it was cooked perfectly. Most of our party got burgers. My old man loves his flesh super rare, so wasn't too happy when it came out more on the medium side, but besides that, service and food were great. Have never tried the cocktails, but the wine list by the glass is a good size with a good price range. The bar has been full every time I've gone in. Just be warned- it can be a bit hard to find- no lighting on the awnings or sign at night. I recommend it as a weeknight fall back when you can't think of where to go.

Recently came in for lunch by myself at the bar. The bartender was attentive, but not overly friendly. The food is sub-par and you're better off getting a pizza and beer over anything else. Although its a neighborhood place, they really arnt super friendly!

What a fun place, with tasty, home cooking! First of all, the New England Clam Chowder is among the BEST I have had in Rhode Island! Just great! I liked the variety of the menu, but my wife and I, and the couple we were with, decided to order two of the "family style" dinners! WOW! Salad, entree and dessert for two (or more) at just $27? We shared the Steak au Povrie and the Salmon over couscous! What a great meal. The Tiramisu for dessert was decadent! We will be back!

L'attitude is a reliable, go-to restaurant in Pawtuxet Village. No more, no less. I've been a few times but wouldn't go out of my way to eat here unless I was feeling hungry and uninspired to venture outside the neighborhood. The service is average. The wait staff is usually responsive, but we did have some issues with a server who took our order and seemed to take years to come back, which compelled my boyfriend to order two drinks for himself at once, lest the person completely disappear. The food is decent. I've had salads, mostly, and do recommend the pear/walnut/bleu cheese salad with blackened grilled chicken added. They have a filet mignon special for $2 an ounce, which sounds like a decent deal, provided you don't eat huge portions. Maybe it helps in terms of portion control...? There is a small al fresco area, where we've sat with mixed results. Once, our meal was completely drowned out by a large group of very inebriated diners at the table next to us, who were swearing and laughing like maniacs. We actually moved inside to get away from the all-out noise assault. As al fresco dining goes, it's out on a sidewalk without much of a view. (If your home has a back yard or if you have a garden, it would probably be more peaceful to sit and eat out there.) And for me, dining outside in Pawtuxet Village can be summed up in one word: BUGS. If you're a Pawtuxet Village resident or a regular visitor and want a meal that will satisfy, but not astound you, give this place a whirl.

It's OK - Not sure what I was expecting - but it's bar food. Simple, no-nonsense, no-over the top, bar food. I got a chicken wrap my first time and the chicken was a little tough (demonstrating that they may have tried to cook it too high, too fast.... the bruschetta was a tasty appetizer the second time - and my son's chicken fingers were good, but WAY WAY WAY on the greasy side. The chicken fingers and fries were clearly cooked in the same grease as the fish n-chips, which is ok, but not for those who might not like the fish-fry taste on everything. We'll be back. This is a good fall-back place for staple meal items.

I moved to Pawtuxet Village about 3 years ago, and L'attitude was one of the first places I tried, and quickly became a frequent customer. To make this simple, I have NEVER had a meal there that wasn't outstanding, and their prices are really reasonable. The atmosphere is a great combination of casual yet classy. The bar area is comfortable, laid-back and friendly, and they have live music sometimes on weekend nights. Fave menu items: calamari is AMAZING, chicken pesto pizza & all their pasta is delish.

Visited for lunch with a party of 7. Best part was the service. Worst part was the food. Nothing tasted especially good. As long as I don't get sick, the rating will stick at 3 stars.

The food and drinks at L'Attitude are fabulous.. (So as not to confuse, the restaurant has JUST changed its name to R'Evolution, as shown above). My favorite items to order are their burgers - perfectly cooked on what I believe is a charcoal or wood grill served on a nice bulky roll and accompanied by a large amount of decent french fries and a pickle! I've also had their spring rolls and they never fail to please. The sangria at L'Attitude is beyond wonderful. But my very favorite, go to meal, at L'Attitude is the spinach salad, which comes with goat cheese, roasted red peppers, huge marinated portabello mushrooms and to which I ALWAYS add (for a few bucks extra) their delicious grilled shrimp. I crave this salad often. I used to work across the street, thus was able to get food from there frequently. Now I don't work nearby but I still visit at least once a month for the spinach salad. My only reason for leaving off a star is because the service is a bit "off" sometimes. Waiters have made mistakes on orders, were not knowledgeable enough to answer questions regarding the menu, and the staff behind the bar that takes the "to go" orders frequently mess them up. Aside from that, the food is fantastic and I heartily recommend dining at L'Attitude for lunch and/or dinner. And don't forget to have some sangria!

Skip the dining room and the waiter that says "absolutely" every other word and eat in the bar, but only on Tenderloin Tuesday - now up to $2/pound. It's massively OVERPRICED here. We consistently leave wondering how two entrees and two drinks comes to $50 for pub food?

I enjoyed dining here. I ordered the Classic Calamari and George's Chicken sandwich. The calamari was fried and came along with some banana peppers and black olives it was hot, crispy, and done to perfection. George's chicken sandwich came on two very thick slices of bread which overwhelmed the plate and seemed to overshadow the delicious piece of chicken that was hiding inside. Once i took away the bread and ate the chicken on it's own i was very happy with my selection. The shoe string fries which accompanied my sandwich were hot and crispy much like the calamari. Our server was great and very accomodating. The walls are painted in very dark colors which makes the dining area seem much smaller than it actually is and the decor was not much to look at. If it weren't for the bread debacle and the drab decor i would have given this place 5 stars. Either way i'm definitely returning.

YUM! Great atmosphere inside and out. My favorite place to eat in Pawtuxet Village, laid back and classy enough for business and or afterhours meetings. Great service and the food is scrumptious. I would definitely recommend the grilled golden pear salad with candied walnuts, gorgonzola cheese, and sherry vinagrette. The french onion soup was OK. The calamari balsamico is a complimentary blend of ingredients, one of the best calamari's I've had here in the states. If you want to eat outside along Pawtuxet Village's quaint sidewalk, definitely arrive early or go during downtime, as there are only about 4 black wrought iron tables that generally would sit 2 or 3 people comfortably. When I sit outside to eat, I even bring along my small dog and the waiter had no problem bringing a water dish outside for her.

Excellent Service - Waiter was very attentive.... Had Family style steak au poive dinner included steak, veggies, two types of potatos, salad, and dessert for $30.00 . That for two to three people. Great price. Large portions...... Best Tiramsu ever, homemade. Great martini. Agreed that dining room was alittle dark, next time will sit on street side or bar. Quaint historic area of Cranston, near bay.

I bought a Groupon for L'attitude based on the good reviews here. That was a mistake. Both the place and the food are forgettable, and best forgotten. We ordered French onion soup, crispy shrimp cakes, and the steak for two, which included salad and dessert. The soup was not bad, and in retrospect, we should have finished it and left while we were ahead. The shrimp cakes were neither crispy nor made of shrimp: they were fried, rubbery balls of dough. The mesclun mix salad consisted of a plate of greens surrounded by lifeless tomatoes and topped with a piece of white toast, coated with a gooey balsamic vinaigrette that would be at home in a Ruby Tuesday. The steak and the roasted asparagus that came with it were OK, but the potatoes looked like they'd been defrosted and dunked into a fryer. Dessert was mass-produced cheesecake with canned whipped cream on the side. Only desperate businesses now run Groupons, they should just put up a blinking neon "stay away" sign to ward off the unwary. I'd rather pay full price for a good meal than half price for a bad one.

The Bolognese was excellent... The salmon was dry and lacking flavor and the staff lacked attentiveness. Our waiter was busier chatting with friends that were eating there than with helping us. Then when we were done we had to ask twice for the check and wait over 15 minutes in a dead restaurant just to get the bill! Not on the list to return to anytime soon.

I love this place. The drinks (as mentioned in previous review) are great. The food is always delicious -- and that's never an easy task. The half-baked chicken wings are my favorite -- soooo goood. But the burgers are delicious, the pizza (chicken pesto) is nearly perfect by my book (we ask for it well done). But even the fancy stuff (steaks, fish, pasta) is always a hit. Also, not too expensive. Near the waterfall. Some outdoor seats. Only bad part is the bands -- arrgh, I even made a bet that the band's first song would be the dreaded "Horse With No Name" and sadly won. But don't let that deter you. The place is good. Enjoy!

I want to like this place, I really do. The food is very good and the drinks are reliable. But the staff! They maybe shouldn't have so much l'attitude. See what I did there? And the atmosphere is oppressive. First time we went wasn't much after we had moved nearby. First thing we noticed was how loud it was in there, though there were only about eight people in the place. We sat at the bar as the trio of fraternity brothers behind us continued to yell at the top of their low self-esteem's. I noticed too, right away that the rest of the customers, the waitresses and bartender all had their attention on the blaring TV in the corner. Knowing there was a Celtics game on, I looked up hoping to catch some gargantuan beast taking too many steps toward the basket only to then complain to the WWE reject referee about a no call foul. But no. These folks were not watching NBA playoffs. Nor were they watching TMZ reruns. They were in fact giving their undivided attention to the Miss USA Pageant. I get. Cranston's own Olivia Culpo was in the running (and won), but these folks were cheering and rooting her on every time the camera breezed past her unnaturally tanned face. Finally, a commercial break and we get the bartender's attention. I order a beer, the wife a wine. We get menus. I'll be the first to admit it takes me a while sometimes to decide what I want to eat - this can be a very important decision. One that could alter the rest of your night and/or alter the space/time continuum. But it was even harder to concentrate on the menu with the decibel level at 11. Seeing I may have been struggling a bit, the bartender tried to talk me into the most expensive entree on the menu, I declined and went with wings and a Caesar salad. Food came, it was good. We paid and left. About a month later we take the bikes into the village and stop here for a beer. Same deal with the noise and no people. And the bartender seemed to not want us to be there. We had two beers then left feeling like we just invaded someone's personal space. Awkward with a sprinkling of L'attitude for sure.

golocalprov.com needs to wake up and review this place. The food is first rate and I'm addicted to the Creole calamari. Dean fires the social scene by supporting excellent music with Travis Colby on Wednesday nights . . . . The pear-walnut-blu cheese salad is quite the munch . . . Christerkamp

The food was good...I had the pasta w/ chicken and a pink vodka sauce. Large enough portion where I actually couldn't finish it which is rare because I can eat like a champion. Atmosphere was average. I feel like the atmosphere didn't align correctly with the price of the food, and that's the main reason for a 3 star rating. In other words, the $15 simple pasta dish called for a classier atmosphere - and the atmosphere called for this meal to be $10-$12. Overall, good food, average feel.

This is one of the few restarants I would go to without a coupon. Nice atmosphere, good service, great food. We had the steak for two-- it was plentiful (almost enough for 3!), cooked perfectly, and delicious. The foccaccia cubes with olive oil, carmelized onion and cheese dip remains a favorite. L'Attitude is just a feel good, eat good restaurant that I'll keep going back to.

Good flavors, decent ambience. High prices and small portions.

Have been a happy customer since this restaurant opened in 1999. The menu is always appetizing whether you want a handmade pizza, an uptown sandwich, or generously sized entree. Be sure to try at least one of the daily specials. They will have you debating on what to eat!

This place is always a good time for me. The owner is very friendly, the employees are very helpful, the food is always very good, and the ambiance is just right. I shall return!
