Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

This was are first time ordering from here, we originally planned on eating there but it was insanely hot inside the restaurant!! So we had to take it to go. We got an 18" half meat lovers and half pepperoni pizza with a side order of garlic fries. The garlic fries were really good! Definitely recommend those and the pizza is huge, two slices filled us both up. Slightly greasy pizza but still really good. Overall I would recommend this to anyone in the area, just don't try to eat there unless you want to be sweating the whole time.

Great pizza and excellent service. The slice special was $4.50 for two slices and a soda. Very nice. You can tell these folks got NYers slingin dough up in there! Must try if you find yourself in this part of Rhode Island.
(5)Robert R.
This is fantastic pizza! Quite possibly the best white pizza I've ever had. It's not in my neighborhood, but I will drive here for more. I also had the tomato mozzarella salad and the fried dough. Delicious. Friendly and accommodating service too!
(5)Emma M.
Great pizza! My Dad, who is the pickiest pizza eater on the planet even said this place was fantastic. Since I love pretty much all pizza, I feel like that's the bigger compliment. We have ordered from this place several times and have been pleased with the timeliness, service and quality of the food!
(5)Matt B.
The pizza is about as good as it gets in Cranston, and all of RI. We go back time after time. It is the large, doughy, but crunchy Italian style, with the big foldable slices. If that's your thing, it doesn't get much better. I like to order it well done. Just gives it an added crisp on the edges. Delicious. And the staff are super nice and friendly too. They often run specials on Groupon as well.
(4)Adam W.
Overall, I found the food here to be average. The pizza slices were thin, and bland. The burgers were made by hand, but was undercooked. The store has garlic knots, which I am learning is hard to find in this area (I am from NY). The French fries were undercooked and soggy. They do deliver, and allow for online ordering. Not a bad place, but not amazing!
(3)Tiffany D.
Horrible. I would give no stars if I could. Ordered delivery at 6:30. It's 8:21. We just got our food. Girl called an hour and 15 minutes after order was placed and said she took the wrong order and has to go back. "Don't worry. IT will be fresh." No. It's not. It's almost 2 hours old. Luke warm pizza. Soggy garlic knots. I can not believe my husband gave that girl a $3 tip. Our dinner should have been discounted. NEVER AGAIN.
(1)Jonny C.
The pizza was solid- 18" NY style thin crust pie, with 8 mega slices, and a great value: a check in and a yelp offer earned me a huge pie and 2 sodas for like 10 bucks. The standouts were the people, so super friendly, genuinely interested in us really enjoying the pizza and just overall really nice. Weird location out by the ACS /DMV/Jail thingy, but if I happened to be back in cranston in need of pie, i wouldnt hesitate.

Before trying Napolitano's Pizza, I read many reviews. Most of them were good, but some of them warned of mediocre pizza. I decieded to try it anyway. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, garlic knots, and the caprese salad. The salad was not to my liking. Maybe it was because I ordered it to go and it was a big soggy when I got home, but the mozzarella used was pretty terrible. Very dry and not fresh at all. The garlic knots were by far the best part of the entire experience. They were AMAZING. I would go back JUST for the garlic knots. However, the pizza was only okay. I really wanted to love it but the crust was just too hard and stale tasting, and didn't remind me at all of NY style pizza. It was a pretty lame imitation at best.
(3)Food C.
meh... I really really wanted to like this place. The reviews are great, pictures of the pizza look amazing, but Ive ordered twice and each time was just alright. I still am not going to give up, I ordered a pepperoni, and a cheese pizza the second time. I wish the online menu had offerings of more gourmet pizza choices. Some of the photos on yelp, look simply amazing but are not labeled. The sauce had a very sweet taste to it, too sweet. I was pleasantly surprised by the cinnamon doughs I ordered just to make sure my order was over the 15 minimum for delivery. They were very good, could have been cooked a bit longer, but still very good.

If you are visiting and your thoughts are-- "oh cool a pizza place with tons of promotions-- I'm only here for one night-- this is perfect!!" You're like me-- but I'm not native to the area-- so I've had amazing pizza all over-- people saying this is the BEST pizza -- maybe if you've never had any other pizza ever. Let me be more specific to the food-- I ordered from here because i saw the vegan veggie pizza and thought-- this place doesn't look greasy and offers a great deal-- I'll try it-- I ended up getting the Italian combo-- while I was ordering I asked if the grilled peppers were out of a can-- and she said -- nope, a jar-- got home and the prosciutto was like a salt block - the salami even saltier ... The red onions had died before they were cooked on the pizza being super flimsy - no fresh crunch. Basically nothing seemed fresh. I haven't tried any other places in the area-- but I would definitely venture off next time.
(1)Brittany B.
Good, greasy pizza. Eggplant parm sandwich was good. Lol and I believe they have salads, too. Really enjoyed this place!
(3)Sarah D.
It was okay. Maybe I'm just not a fan of the style of pizza. I thought it was a bit to thin, a bit too wet and not cooked quite enough in the middle. While I didn't dislike it enough to not use a second Groupon I had, I don't like it enough to order it on my own. Now Pag's in WW, that's what I want on my deathbed!
(3)Mike P.
Remembering the days of old world Italian goodies made at home is revived by this restaurant. Each pizza and dish tastes like it's made from scratch, which is rare nowadays. The service is top notch from the owner down to the cooks; it's just a welcoming atmosphere. Although there isn't much seating, it is very comfortable. And a big bonus is plenty of parking. Highly recommend the garlic fries and the Sicilian pizza.

Finally!! Found this place online and decided to give it a try. Yes I have certain standards for pizza being from NY. If I call a place to order a pie and they say we don't make pie we make pizza I usually hang up. If they don't have garlic knots or even know what they are... red flag! Nope. This place has it all! Margarita and white pie!!!! Garlic knots! I ordered a bunch of things, 2 pies, garlic knots, chicken parm hero, wings. Everything was good. Just didn't like that the chicken in the hero was all chopped up instead of a cutlet. It dried out a little because of it. And the bread wasn't right. Not real Italian bread. Wish I lived closer or tried the one in providence, only because by the time I got home everything was cold.

1.) New York-style is the quintessential pizza. 2.) Good pizza places are for pizza. 3.) Napolitano's Brooklyn Pizza has always hit the mark. I've only ever ordered pizza from Napolitano's, so I shall not comment on anything but their pizza, which is amongst the best in the state.
(5)Altena L.
Decent NY style pizza and excellent garlic fries! The pizzas are a good size and they usually have a discount somewhere whether it's on groupon, amazon, or Entertainment book. Staff is friendly!
(3)Alexandra A.
Ordered online, got the order within 30 minutes, cute delivery guy, and a huge pizza that tasted like some of the better NYC pizza joints.
(4)Tom Z.
OMG, this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. This is the real deal. I love NY pizza. So many places in Providence say they are NY style but they're not even close. The garlic knots are incredible, I could eat them all day!
(5)Sarah F.
So promising... Turned into such a huge let down. :( I love New York style pizza! I am so happy that I found a great place close to home and work. The buffalo wings are really good, too! My toddler ate 3 of them covered in the sauce and dipped them in the blue cheese dressing. I'm glad the whole family likes the place, because we all have different favorite types of pizza. This was a five star review. I have changed it to a 2, because of the service issues and lies. They have a five mile radius for delivery. I checked the distance online before ordering the first time. I called to order and they forced me to come pick it up because the search they did made it 5.1 miles. I picked it up... While tracking the 4.8 miles and less than 10 minutes it took to get there. I talked to the manager who apologized and promised they would deliver in the future. They even wrote it down and pinned it up. I called tonight and they refused to deliver, not because of the distance, but because of the name of my town, even though I am a few houses over from the next town and an address they would deliver to. They lost my $50 dinner order for tonight and a lot of future business. I will be sure to tell all my friends that I previously told about this place, to stay away. They seemed so nice and sincere about wanting to be my go-to pizza place, but I guess they didn't want to be. I work at a huge corporate office near them. I won't be using them for work parties either. I'm not sure how they make this right. My family is hungry and I'm not going to load my sick 2 year old in and out of the car for this. So promising... Turned into such a huge let down. :(

Authentic New York style pizza! One of the very, very few places in Rhode Island or Massachusetts to serve the real thing. I am from New York City and have also been to many pizza places in RI and MA. Moreover, it compares well not just to average New York pizza, but some of the best New York pizza. The prices for pizza slices are inexpensive and roughly half the price I have paid in NYC. I give this place 5 stars for the pizza!
(5)Michelle D.
I have been here twice. My first my first time I ordered a pepperoni pizza & it was a New York style pizza . The pizza was thin but fiirm & a whole pie is huge. The second time I ordered chicken parmesan dinner with a garden salad & a side of garlic knots. To my disappointment the garlic knots were burnt not like doughy ones I get in New York
(3)P A.
A worthy competitor in the world of family pizza joints. So, what this means is that they have risen to the point of deserving a harsh critique. And I'll make this short. The sauce is a bit salty, the pizza is a little strong with herbs. Having said that, their attempt to rise above the pathetic crowd of me-too, 'we have pizza but have no idea what good pizza tastes like', really shows. Meatballs were very good, pizza was just delicious, the place is CLEAN, and the customer service is phenomenal. We are traveling so may never have the opportunity to return, but would love to have them next door.
(4)Wendy S.
Very disappointing. I read the reviews after seeing a brief article on how good their NY pizza was, we couldn't wait to try it! So we went on a Saturday around 5 pm and the place was busy with pick ups, and people calling in. We drooled over the menu, appetizers, fried dough, and pizza ( lots toppings ) and decided on a large cheese pizza, half sausage and half red onion (options were red, balsamic and more) and green pepper. (options were roasted peppers, green peppers and a few more).Lots of choices for topping but we wanted to have a pretty basic pizza the first time Also ordered fried zucchini with marinara sauce then sat down to wait. It only seats about 20 people max. The zucchini was pretty good- a bit too raw for me, but the breading was hot and not soggy. Then the pizza came out. They gave us 3 very thin paper plates, but real forks and knives, which was a plus. The pizza was big, but I was shocked to see that the TOPPINGS ON THE PIZZA WERE NOT COOKED - THEY WERE PUT ON AFTER IT WAS COOKED. Really. The green pepper and red onion were raw, and the sausage had been placed on it while still warm. The sausage was thick slices, and really good. However, the raw pepper and onion were not good. The crust was thicker than NY style, and not enough sauce to cheese ratio. We ate the sausage side, and threw away the rest - it tasted just like it sounds- horrible. The staff was friendly, but they never asked how we liked it, they were too busy taking orders and making pizza. VERY DISAPPOINTING - I love real NY pizza and this is just not even close. Another one bites the dust.
(2)Jude M.
Delivery time and driver were spot on, and the salad was fantastic. The wings were dry and overdone and the pizza was bland and cold. In fairness it was just a slice but if you are going to offer to deliver a slice it should not be cold.
(3)William K.
My wife got the deep fried calzone. I got the Buffalo wings and garlic fries and my son got the shaved steak and cheese. The garlic fries are excellent. The buffalo wings were ok. My son was very pleased with the cheese steak, but the happiest person would be my wife, whom stated that that was the best calzone she has ever eaten. The restaraunt is very small and it was hot as hell in there, but the food was worth it. We've had their pizza before and it's definitely top notch Brooklyn style.
(5)Rebecca R.
Thank you Yelp for finding me my new "best in RI" pizza place. I am a picky pizza person, even though I love it, and my frantic search for a new place one night led me to Napolitano's. The reviews just sounded to good to be true, so we gave it a whirl and we are glad we did! The location couldn't be better, as its 5 mins away, and the pizza was everything I was dreaming of Large slices of cheesy, pepperoni heaven. The crust was perfect, not overwhelming - crust was perfect. The cheese blend is amazing as well as the pepperoni. The large was great for the 2 of us and gave us leftovers for the next day. we've been back once more, to pick up pizza by the slice - another plus! We want to try the garlic knots and look forward to naming Napolitano's our new pizza joint!
(4)Cassandra B.
Theirs is the first cheese pie I've had in Rhode Island that brings back memories of my childhood in Long Island, NY. It's the real deal! And their garlic knots are the bomb.
(5)Lindsay S.
Oh my goodness, I'm drooling just thinking about Napolitano's pizza right now. I have to say this is the best pizza I've had in RI. I have to add the disclaimer that everyone has different opinions about what makes pizza great. Personally, I like pizza that's not too pretentious, i.e., lots of toppings, big chewy crust, and generously sized. Napolitano's nails it! My boyfriend and I came on Friday night with a six-pack in tow (BYOB). It was a nice night out, so we sat outside. The view's not great, but the food IS, so that's all that really mattered to us. The staff there is extremely friendly and our server promptly brought us chilled glasses for our beer. We ordered the garlic knots (thanks for the tip, Yelpers) and the Italian meat lovers pizza. The garlic knots are absolutely to die for. Seriously unhealthy, but seriously worth the splurge. The pizza came right out, piping hot and filled to the brim with meat (carnivores rejoice). Honestly, it was so good that I somehow managed another slice after I swore I was stuffed. We had a couple slices leftover and they weren't as good reheated the next day, but it doesn't matter when it's so good fresh. This place is also conveniently located 5 minutes up the road from the Warwick Showcase, so do yourself a favor and have a cheap date night at Napolitano's followed by a movie. Great night! I will be back soon!
(5)Jason D.
Great place. Really nice people and incredibly fresh ingredients on fresh pizza. They make mozzarella, sausage, hamburger, sauces, meatballs, etc are all made in-house.
(5)Ahmed A.
Good cheese pizza. I got the two slice special with a drink for $5. It's a good deal. I would definitely come back here. They deliver as well.
(4)Lisa M.
One of the best pizza places around! It's a little gem hidden in cranston, glad I found it. The daily special is the best around, $4.50 for 2 slices and a soda, score! Slices are huge and always hot. Will have to say though, I love bbq chicken pizza and there's was different. Bbq sauce is homemade but has a bit of an Asian mix, wasn't a fan of that pizza. But even with that, they are still 5 star!
(5)Ryan D.
love this place great pizza..brooklyn style
(5)Karen S.
If the ratings were based just on food, this would be an easy four star. I had bought a Living Social deal quite a while back and my husband and I were in the area on a super hot and humid summer day. We drove by and the door was open. No AC in 95+ degree weather with a hot pizza oven? No thanks. I called in an order last week for takeout. The person answering the phone was friendly and helpful and 25 minutes later I met her in person. I believe it was the owner and she was just as nice as she was on the phone. This place is small, with just a handful of tables. If you are looking to sit back and relax with a drink or two and some pizza, this isn't the place I would head. On to the pizza. I ordered a large with chicken, roasted red peppers and roasted garlic. It was very big and really good. If I lived in the area I would be a regular for takeout. While I'm not recommending it to eat in, you should definitely give it a try for takeout.
(3)Jeff M.
Have you ever had a food memory that sticks with you, and you just can't shake it? Try the pizza at Napolitano's, you'll know what I'm talking about. Tracked down this pizza shop off the quiet part of Pontiac Ave based on a Yelp! review. Absolutely blown away by the treasure I found, a perfect NY Slice in the heart of Cranston. Now NY Pizza is a term that gets bandied about quite a bit, but I'm telling you, this is the real deal. A soft, fold-able, tasty dough with a bit of structure, thin but not too crispy. A bright, fresh tomato and basil sauce, and a salty, chewy taught layer of cheese. This is a proper NYC street style slice, actually better than most, really well done. Turns out the chef knows her stuff, raised in Brooklyn, schooled at the CIA, trained at Chez Pascal, and is turning out great pizza with her talents, and a few other gems. The Brooklyn Deep Fried Calzone is dangerously good. The creamy Ricotta whey slowly drowning the sharp salty Prosciutto and molten Mozz. I'm going to have to watch myself around a place like this. A+
(5)Brianna M.
My first time ordering delivery from this joint! We ordered a Sicilian pizza, it was soooooo delicious and as usual the antipasti salad. I don't know what type of balsamic they use but it is so perfect. Got my order in 45 mins and the delivery guy was very nice! Thanks as always for the best food!
(5)Jake B.
Two years ago, the Rhode Island State Senate unanimously declared, along with the approval of the governor, that the state was in dire need of a delicious NY Style pizza place. In a public statement, Gov. Chafee remarked, "The time for real change is upon us...Everybody knows that the New England Greek-style pie is ultra-lame, and the people have spoken: they want NY style pizza, and they want it now!" So, the state government mandated the creation of Napolitano's in Cranston, and the results are exemplary. They have huge pizzas that are always made with care, and they have a totally epic lunch combo: two slices and a soda for just 450. With pizza this good, Napolitano's is sure to be Chafee's Emancipation Proclamation.
(4)Mark L.
I've ordered pizza from Napolitano's a couple of times, and although I enjoyed the pizza both times, I find they are a tad too generous with the usage of garlic; perhaps I should just try the plain cheese next time? I had the Broadwalk last night, and I can still taste the garlic. The delivery person (young female with glasses) was sweet, polite, and engaging. Would I order from Napolitano's again? Well, I totally would, except I was told by the delivery girl that since we are more than 6 miles away in Warwick (actually only 5 according to Google Maps), she was told they'd have to charge me for delivery. So, because of that, I don't think I will be ordering from Napolitano's again. Unless I'm being attacked by a wild pack of blood-thirsty vampires.
(3)Michael P.
Okay, an update...still love the pizza at Napolitano's and have since introduced friends to their pizza...everyone loved it and now they go to the Napoli tank's location in PVD. Great New York style pizza, garlic knots, and meatball sub. I haven't tried much else but that's just because the pizza is so good! The last time I commented, my only complaint was that the owner seemed sort of unfriendly but things have definitely improved. She even joked with me the last time i was in there...we always order the same pizza toppings and i guess she noticed haha. Gotta upgrade my rating to 5 stars....the food is very good and so is the service. I'm a customer for life! Or, you know...for however long I live in Rhode Island :-D
(5)Lindsey H.
I've been coming here since before it got popular and opened a second location..consistently great pizza..... however, I have found that a solid portion of the employees are unprofessional (mostly the new hires) and sloppy...the young girl that works the register is often on her phone or barely acknowledges you. Blasting music at the restaurant and last time I saw one of the employees bring a big bottle of liquor into the back entrance....just saying that your success is great, but please keep these kids in line. It would be a shame if their unprofessionalism tarnished your reputation for great food. Only ding on the food is sometimes the garlic knots are burned or cold. Thumbs down there...
(4)Abby C.
Everything that I have been asking for!! Like my prayers have finally been answered! Delivery gourmet pizza with super fresh ingredients.....and it's NY style. I have dumped my old go-to delivery pizza and have since ordered solely from Napolitano's. If they stay in Cranston for awhile, I may never leave this town. I have only ordered pizza here. Never a bad pizza. Service is great. Actually, it's phenomenal. I live across town and they deliver to me without complaint. I swear by the Italian meat lover's, cyclone and margherita pizzas. Can't wait for my next night in with my big tasty pizza!
(5)Margo K.
Outstanding pizza. Big pies, big slices. New local favorite

8/22 - I usually am a fan of Napolitanos and their food. This evening I called in a delivery order and paid for my order over the phone. After an hour I called to see how things were going. (Things happen, I understand) They had my order set as a pick up and not delivery. So they got it here in 15mins which was great. However when the order arrived it was not complete. The food is great and usually the service is spot on. This was not the best experience, but will look past it because the food is so good. 8/31 - Moving these guys up two notches. Tried a sandwich & a pizza this time. Delicious. Really great food. Meatball sub was exactly what I was in the mood for. Delivery still seems to be an issue. Was quoted that my wait for pizza delivery was just over an hour. Small business, so I understand. They were accurate. Food arrived hot and my order was correct this time. Happy to bump from 2 - 4 stars.

I work near the NYC pizza impostors on Thayer St. in Providence. I just grabbed a pizza slice for lunch and immediately thought: I must Yelp how GREAT Napolitano's (NBP) is because NOTHING else in RI can compare. Bottom line: NBP is REAL New York pizza. Having grown up in NJ and being a mere 20 min from NYC by way of the Holland or Lincoln tunnel to Manhattan or the Verrazano into Brooklyn, I have first hand experience with good pizza. There are so many things that make this place AUTHENTIC: fresh cheese, amazing sauce, crisp yet chewy crust. My family & I drive 25 min to get there. No biggie - just as if I was home in NJ and driving to NYC - so worth it. In addition to our regular, a cheese pie, we get the garlic knots and fries. All 5 stars. BONUS: it feels like a small NYC pizza joint inside. New York newspapers available to read, pictures of the Napolitano clan adorning the walls and great customer service. I believe the owners name is Christie and she knows how far my family travels for a pie & she makes us feel like it's our neighborhood spot. If I haven't convinced you then the only alternative is to actually drive to NYC!
(5)Crystal M.
Love this place! Work right around it's location so it's one of the main places I go to. I order the garlic knots, a must if you go here. Fresh roasted garlic and parsley. YUM. Also, I tried the Sicilian style pizza which is a thick crust (a nice change to their original thinner crust pizza) Delicious. I always recommend this place to my colleagues and will stop on my way home. Staff is very friendly too.
(5)Jennifer S.
5 stars for the knots and fries!!! However I'm not a fan of their sauce & the pizza only comes in one size & it's more $ than other places. The Luna is great but it would be nice to dip in a good marinara.
(3)Stephanie K.
I give this pizza a solid "good." We ordered delivery and it got here in the timing they gave us (45 mins). The pizza is huge...but unfortunately they forgot to cut it and my dinky pizza cutter made a mess of the job. The crust was great...thin and well done. Our margherita toppings were decent... It was overload with an excessive amount of sliced tomatoes, the mozzarella and fresh basil were great, but the sauce was not appealing to my taste buds at all. It was loaded with garlic and dried herbs and did not taste like a fresh, lively tomato sauce at all. The pizza as a whole didn't represent to me what a Neapolitan pizza should be. My husband did enjoy their bbq wings! We may give them a 2nd chance and try another style pizza in the future.
(3)Danielle M.
Not impressed. Called in for delivery and they asked my my address the woman on the phone proceeds to ask if they had delivered to me before, i respond with yes. She the says well we are slammed so if it's over 4miles I can't do it. Puts me on hold, comes back and says "it's 3 miles so I guess we can do it but it's gonna be an hour and a half". Wow thanks for the customer service! I'll be rethinking ordering again I felt like an inconvenience
(2)Sarah Jean R.
Garlic Knots! The pizza is wonderful too! I've had the Margherita, but I actually just prefer a plain cheese with fresh basil added. The ingredients are quality and, therefore, very flavorful. The crust is that great NY consistency. They also have entrees and calzones, but I have not been able to tear myself away from the pizza to try anything else.
(5)Dennis W.
So here is the deal. There are a lot of different ways to make a pizza. I myself have never been a fan of the RI Square pizzas like Caserta. I find the crust to be dry and the cheese greasy. For me, Napolitano's is where it's at. Chewy crust slightly burnt at the bottom giving it that light char flavor. Fresh cheeses and premium toppings. I hopped in last night and got a pepperoni and balsamic onion pie. Yeah I said balsamic onion. Definitely one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I will ask for a bit more sauce though next time. But that is just a personal preference.

Just to my taste and texture that I like. Not too hard and not too soft. But to each his/her own. I enjoyed their pizza ... 18" pizza was bigger than I had anticipated!
(4)Kyra L.
Saw the reviews and had to check it out. Got a basic cheese pizza and was pleasantly suprised! Cheese tastes fresh, sauce was on point and thin crust with a perfect char! Will definitely return and try a speciality pizza
(4)J S.
Great customer service! Yummy garlic knots and pizza!
(4)Eric M.
Fantastic pizza NY style! Go now. They even have slices! Get the garlic knots. Really. Stop reading this and get in the car now!
(5)Rick M.
Tonight was our first night trying this place out and we were NOT disappointed! It was great food. We will definitely be back. Can't believe I didn't find this place sooner. The only down side was how hot it was in there - felt terrible for the employees. We ate outside because of how hot it was inside. The manager though was very accommodating. She felt bad there were no lights outside and it was dark so she brought us candles to our table. We even got to meet 2 very nice ladies visiting from East Tennessee. They found this place because of Yelp as well. Thanks yelp for finding us a new pizza place to frequent!
(4)Ruth B.
Very good thin crust NYC pizza. Staff is very pleasant. Discount deal on YELP was easy to use.
(4)Philip L.
This is my first post on YELP and I couldn't be happier than using it on Napolitano's Pizza in Cranston, RI. I ordered a buffalo fried chicken hero along with some garlic knots and a small side of some of their dough boys. The service and food were both phenomenal! I will definitely be heading down there sometime soon again. You have to try their garlic knots!!

Napolitano's: the best pizza in RI! As a local graduate student here in Providence, I've been to all the pizza places around the neighborhood: Fellini's, Antonio's, Nice Slice, Domino's, Bob & Timmy's, etc. None of these places, however, are as good as Napolitano's in terms of price and taste. My boyfriend and I randomly stopped here one afternoon for lunch. For about $17, we got a HUGE large cheese pizza and a 2 liter of soda. And it was the best-tasting pizza I've had here in RI! The previous reviewers were right: this looks like a pizza joint in a random strip mall that could be forgettable...but it's definitely not! This is the kind of pizza that doesn't need extra toppings or Parmesan to give the flavor a boost---it's seasoned perfectly! The crust is crunchy on the outside and soft inside, and the sauce itself is sweet and salty with a nice set of Italian herbs. (Apparently, they make their mozzarella cheese in house, too? Amazing!) And for $2.50 slices that are huge New York-type slices, the price point is perfect. Also, the woman who helped us seemed like such a hard-working, nice lady. She was alone in the parlor and slammed with customers, but took everyone one at a time with courtesy and patience. I'm excited that we finally found our favorite pizza place at Napolitano's! It's a little out of the way from Providence, but worth the drive. I suggest checking their website for their coupons and specials! (That's how we got our large cheese pizza and 2 liter soda.) It's also a little small on the inside, so you might need to take your food to go.
(5)Ronald R.
My go to pizza place, being a native New Yorker I know my pizza and Napolitano's has some of the best in this state.
(5)J H.
Finally!!!! I will drive from Lincoln for there pizza. Perfect NY style! Looking forward to trying other items on the menu! Very friendly staff.
(5)JLynn C.
So I was dying to try the pizza here since all the reviews were really good. The place itself was a bit small but it did smell good inside. I ordered the garlic fries, a large pizza and dough boys and it all came to about $25 which was cheap, but you get what you pay for. The dough was overly chewy and it killed my jaw just trying to get it down. I think the reviews on here are way hyped up because there are far better pizza choices elsewhere in RI.
(2)Kelly A.
Food and service were great! The ladies were very friendly and accomodating. We had a pie, half Luna half Boardwalk and an order of garlic fries. It was amazing. I'm picky with pizza and this is good stuff! It is huge and flavorful. I highly recommend this place. I didnt give 5 stars only because I was hoping it was a little less casual and there was no AC. Regardless I will be back in the future!
(4)Joseph S.
Top 5 best pizza places in the state. The garlic knots are ridiculous and addictive. You won't be disappointed!
(5)Grace M.
It's crazy to leave one star when I actually like the food! However, they've all of sudden decided they won't deliver to our address because it's .3 miles outside their radius. Pretty snarky about it too. They've delivered here dozens of times in the past year but hey, if they don't want the business and the good will... no big deal. There's always another pizza player in town. Try Lil Rhody in Cranston folks!
(1)Kayla W.
Their pizza is amazing!! I got the margarita pizza and everything tasted really fresh and the crust had a nice crunch to it. Hands down the largest pizza i've ever seen. We also got the garlic fries, which came out quick and hot. Service was super friendly with a comfortable atmosphere. Really, what else could you want? Definitely will stop in again!
(5)Gina M.
Has great pizza and their salads are delicious!!! And they deliver to Warwick if you are not that far from them. I will be ordering from them in the future!!
(5)Stacey C.
Afraid to chance it but well worth it!!! NYC style pizza right in Cranston - yes & WOW! If you've ever had and loved NY style pizza - Try this!! Will not disappoint :-)
(5)D Y.
Ohhhh yeah!!!! I'm digging it big time! Huge pizza fan, make that a very picky pizza snob. I tried out the 2 slice special and they heated up the slices and its real NY style pizza. It passed my taste test and I ordered another whole pie to go. I always order a couple of large pizzas to go whenever I work in NY. So I'm so happy I can now have it any time, they have a great menu with plenty of options if pizza is not the pick of the day. They better get to know my name, I'm going to be there every time I have the urge for pizza. Stick to the traditional style pizza and you can't go wrong,
(5)Jessy C.
Pizza was amazing! Gooey, cheesy, saucy perfection on top, and crispy crust on the bottom. We got the standard 18" with pepperoni. The owner and staff were very friendly on top of the amazing food. Can't wait to come back and try something else!
(5)Joe B.
So far so good! At first the prices scared me a bit but after a few visits here I can honestly say that Napolitano's Brooklyn Pizza is the real deal. Their 18'' inch meat lover pizza is solid. Their pizza has the perfect amount of sauce, pepperoni, salami and proscuitto. The chicken parmigiana and grilled chicken with roasted peppers with fresh mozzarella dinner entree is pretty darn good. The dinner entrees are jammed packed with food and were served with a garden salad/garlic bread. I haven't tried their delivery service but pickups have been flawless (avg. 20~25 minutes). The staff is friendly and helpful. I will continue to visit Napolitano's Brooklyn Pizza.
(4)Joy T.
This is pizza done well. With all the hundreds of pizza joints you would think there be more places like this in RI. Not so. It is the perfect balance of ingredients that give a perfect bite. When I order pizza at other joints there is usually too much sauce or too much cheese or too much crust. This place has got it right. I usually order the large pepperoni/mushrooms and Im never disappointed. Dont bother driving to those fancy pizza restaurants downtown unless you want to pay too much for drinks and an oven burnt crusted pizza that is soggy in the middle like I have before! This pizza is special. It has taste. Period. Well done NBP.
(4)Chris L.
I to was so not impressed with this place. I will say that the people were very pleasant. I dabbled in a few different food items cause I had a living social deal. Spaghetti and meatballs, eh, I've had worst. Nothing too memorable about them. The garlic bread they gave me with it tasted like cleaning chemicals. And the all famous pizza! I hate to offend but it reminded me of Sbarro. Sorry, not a fan. I will not be going back even though I work right around the corner.
(1)DTronic S.
My friend turned me onto this place about 6 months ago. I eat my fair share of pizza and frequent a number of pizza places in RI. I liked this pizza so much at first that I went there 4 or 5 Fridays in a row. I would order pizza each time while trying out different items on the menu (calzones, sandwiches, salads etc). I ordered calzones a few times and they were always really good until the last time I went there. I order a pizza along with a spinach, cheese, and pepperoni calzone (which I'd ordered on a previous visit). My wife took a bite of the calzone and I could tell that she didn't like it so I tired it and there was definitively something wrong with it. I couldn't tell if the ricotta cheese was bad or what but it was not good at all and threw it away. The pizza was good but that calzone really turned me off and I haven't been back since. It's been a couple months since I've gotten pizza from here but I plan to go back and give it another try. I will say that prior to my most recent experience, this place was always really good. The owner seems really nice and I think she wasn't there the night I had my negative experience.
(3)Lori M.
We have been here a few times after the journal article... It can get busy. It's not very fancy inside but the pizza is very good. Classic pepperoni and cheese is the way to go. Oh wings are not bad. Bring a bottle of vino and enjoy the food.
(4)Vinnie O.
I stopped there today because of all the good reviews. Today the special was 2 slices and a drink for $4.50. The pizza looks deceivingly boring, like a typical slice you would get at the mall, but when you bite into it, WOW, great flavor!!! The 2 slices were large enough with the soda to satisfy my lunch hunger. The owner was there working her butt off, but was always there to answer any question I had, a very nice lady. I plan on going back to try more of the menu. Update 8-1-13 Still love the pizza, but tried something different, the Italian burger, Freshly made Mozz, tomatoes, caramelized onions, some balsamic vinaigrette, with garlic fries, AWESOME!!!!!
(5)Johny C.
I should wait on this. I plan on going back and trying more things. I'll update then. For now; It has lots of Pizza "options". You know, things like roasted garlic as a topping, gotta love that. The crust is very, very good- all char and burn-y just around the edges to give it that "kick" and smoky flavor. The cheese, or lack of it, on the Margarita pizza was rather strange tasting...I think...I need to try it again. The calzone was super cheesy...dare I say TOO cheesy? Nah, that's not a thing. The prices are reasonable. My major criticism at this point would be "location". It's really not close to where I live, where I work, where I hang out, or anywhere I might be at any given time. Will this be the kind of place I'd actually go out of my way and DRIVE to, just to get pizza (like Pag's Pizza in West Warwick)? Well, only time will tell. next time I plan on trying the 'Garlic Knots' and the 'Boardwalk' pizza. then I'll make my final verdict. In the mean time, suffice it to say that you certainly could do WORSE than picking up a pizza here.

We have been ordering food from Napolitanos a few times a week since my baby was born a few months ago. I can't say enough good things about this little restaurant. Most importantly, the food is excellent. It is clear that someone took the time to make sure that the ingredients used are top quality and fresh. We typically order grilled chicken salads which come at a fair price with a perfect ratio of ingredients. A good garden salad or Caesar salad sound like they should be easy to find but for some reason, In Cranston, they are not. We have also had the chicken soup which is also delicious and clearly house made. The pizza, of course, is the really shining star at Napolitanos and is by far the best pizza in the area. The service is friendly and the delivery is FAST. I just got a 15 minute delivery estimate and they were at my door in 10 which prompted me to write this well deserved review.
(5)Roxy E.
We decided to give Napolitano's a try based on the great reviews. Atmosphere: It's your typical pizza shop, nothing fancy (which is okay). Food: We ordered a Margherita pizza and the Buffalo Chicken Pizza to go. We were not into it. Service: The people behind the counter were very friendly.
(2)Scott S.
Real, delicious NY style pizza and the Buffalo wings are as good as those you get in Buffalo - excellent! Only wish they were open 7 days a week until midnight!
(5)Robert M.
Crazy Wicked Good Brooklyn Calzone.... The secret is that ... it's fried (he says with a whisper). It is different, it is unique it is AWESOME. Go there on a Thursday because everyone knows Thursdays everything is calorie free, carb free and fat free. But seriously, this is enough for two, maybe even three people and it is amazing.
(4)Laurie T.
I recently discovered garlic knots at another restaurant. They are my new obsession. I stumbled upon Napolitano's in my quest for garlic knots that I could have delivered to my door. Sadly I am out of delivery range, so a friend and I made a visit to Napolitano's for lunch. I am known to be a tough customer. It seems as though there is always something that could be just a little better. This place is doing it right! It is clean, the food is unusual and oh so good. Parking could be better but that happens in the city (delivery drivers could be more considerate where they park) I was thrilled with the items on the menu, it's so much more than pizza. The Broccoli Rabe with homemade italian sausage was better than Grandma's! The garlic knots are made in front of you. They came hot out of the oven dripping with chopped garlic. Yummy!!! The gravy is delicious. The salads were made fresh to order and served on real plates and silverware! Want dessert? Homemade ice cream and fried dough! It is owner operated serving family recipes. There are complaints about the delivery service, I would suggest you jump in your car and eat that great big pizza right there, hot out of the oven. There is plenty of seating and they will take good care of you. I can assure you, you will be glad you did. I can't wait to go back!
(5)Michael L.
I had high hopes for this place after reading all the stellar Yelp reviews, but was disappointed after our first visit. The pizza comes one size, LARGE, real large. Cool, off to a good start, a slice I can fold in half. I ordered a cheese and sausage and my wife ordered the Margherita. First thing I disapprove of is the sliced sausage on the pizza, sliced sausage that has previously been cooked. Sausage on a pizza, especially NY pizza, should be out of the casing and cooked while the pizza is cooking. The sauce was good, although not enough of it. Skimpy sauce to cheese ratio. Overall, I thought the pizza had potential. Maybe with extra sauce and pepperoni I would enjoy it more. Now on to the Margherita, It had far too many sliced tomatoes on it, far too many. The pizza was soggy from all the tomatoes and was inedible as a leftover slice the next day. One of the worst Margherita pizza's we've ever had. Stick with a traditional pizza and the place does have potential, we'll give it another try, but I'll be a bit more specific with the toppings and I'll make sure I ask for extra sauce.
(3)G P.
Best little hidden pizza place. Food is great. The atmosphere needs some love, but the pizza makes up for it.
(5)Lindsey E.
Best NY style pizza I have ever had! If I'm being honest, i was recovering from the previous nights festivities and desperately needed pizza, only ny style would do. I found this place through a google search and after reading all the rave reviews, I had to have it. I called to see if they would deliver to me since I live in the town over, the extremely nice gentleman on the phone, Bobby, was hesitant at first so I informed him of my situation and we laughed..he was so understanding and decided he would deliver to me, and even asked if I wanted ginger ale...lol all in all, I'm extremely pleased with the service, food, and great prices too!! I order pizza a lot and this is definitely going to be my new go-to!
(5)Victoria G.
We came across this place when we were searching for a quick bite to eat. We were having difficulty finding a restaurant that got good marks. Finally, Napolitano's Brooklyn Pizza shows up. Now I'm from Brooklyn and, as a result, I'm a pizza snob. I've had Santarpio's and Pizzeria Regina in Boston, both of which disappointed. So we go into Napolitano's and the first thing I notice are garlic knots on the menu and that's the first sign that told me this place was legit. We ordered a couple slices, some garlic knots, and a Brooklyn deep-fried. The distribution of pizza to sauce to crust was just right. In Brooklyn, we go hard when reviewing pizza and Napolitano's passed the test.
(5)Doug C.
Absolutely perfect. Fast, friendly service. Tried the garlic knots, fries and a large pizza. Everything was fantastic. Knots are a decent size and full of flavor. The fries were a huge portion topped with delicious garlic. The pizza was oven fresh, with light sauce and homemade dough. The cheese was delicious. Had portion cups of fresh grated cheese in the cooler, plenty of red pepper and garlic powder available and canned soda available. Large pizza, 12 knots, 2 orders of fries and 6 sodas (yes I was with the family... Not just feeling gluttonous) for $32. Great value for fresh and delicious food. Can't wait to come back!
(5)John P.
My wife and I live in Cranston and come up from DC 4 or 5 times a year. Our house is 2 miles from Napolitano's. We wanted pizza out tonight. We read the reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try. As vegetarians we are extra selective about food and taste. I let the owner decide what we should have. She suggested fried eggplant, sweet red pepper, caramelized onion, and mushroom: perfection. The crust had bubbles of extra heat. Basically, we were in Heaven. Beautiful. Perfection. We ate in to experience the place--so glad we did. Even the Caesar salad was superb. We'll make this place a pilgrimage on each of our trips.
(5)S.J. G.
Authentic NY style pizza! Would definitely get it again!
(5)ramesh s.
These guys are great - wonderful people, great pizza, prices, generous portions. We had a great time here!
(5)Kevin C.
The Garlic Knots are absolutely incredible. Best I've ever had. By far. We just got a half cheese, half pepperoni to keep it simple and it was excellent. Not the best location being all by itself near the prison, but don't let that deter you. I hope this place is around for a long, long time.
(5)Chris S.
This is truly as good as it gets for Pizza in Rhode Island!!! This is New York style Pizza for REAL! Excellent Pizza & great service! Hero's and Garlic Knots are just a couple items on the menu that prove this place is NY style. If you are reading this review, YOU need to stop reading now, get in your car and go to Napolitano's Brooklyn Pizza... what are you waiting for? GO!
(5)Bill M.
Absolutely phenomenal Sicilian style pizza. Great food, great price-a large Sicilian pizza feeds 6 easily.
(5)Anna C.
A month ago we went to Grimaldis in NY and when we went to this place tonight we thought would get a pizza like that, in other words very good. What a mistake, I don't know why other yelpers think this is like NY pizza, are you kidding? Who puts raw tomatoes with basil and garlic on a pizza? You could barely see the cheese, you needed binoculars to see it. It was sliced not shredded. Also, what happened to the sauce you put on the pizza? You couldn't see it either. This was the worst pizza I have ever eaten, I would rather eat a Dominos pizza. I will not be returning ever. We also got french fries that were awful, they were soaked in oil and very soggy. Yuk!! Thank god we didn't get the fried dough. The only positive thing, the person on the register was friendly. Forget this place, they should close the doors!
(1)Hilary O.
A friendly, welcoming staff who genuinely cares about their customer's satisfaction and taste buds. The crust is perfection... Really, what more could you ask for? This pizza is the real deal. I love their fries as well! Delish!
(5)Fausto S.
Crust wast very good. Service was very pleasant. Overall a good pizza!
(4)Justine H.
Pizza sauce was not good and by boyfriend and I had one slice each and ended up throwing away the rest. The buff wings were pretty good but celery was rubbery and blue cheese mediocre. Would not recommend to anyone.
(1)Robert M.
Originally (3/11) it was excellent all around and highly recommended. However, the last couple of visits have been very subpar. Today's meal was saltier than an old sailor - an hour later and I still have the taste. Probably give it one more try.
(3)David M.
Absolutely brilliant. I have been there to pick up a pie and some garlic knots (Which are delicious) before and it was excellent. However, what really brought it over the top is the great customer service offered here. Even minutes before closing, they are happy to take delivery orders, which works out great if you get a last minute craving for chicken parm (Like myself). Anyways, the food is excellent at a very fair price. Napolitano's Brooklyn Pizza, you do not disappoint.
(5)Jeff G.
I don't know what type of Brooklyn pizza they claim to have but it's not anywhere close to it (coming from someone who has Brooklyn in their blood). I am not even a fan of their pizza anyway, and I am a big fan of pizza in general. Sauce doesn't really have any distinct flavor, really bland and lacking. Dough is OK.
(2)Kristen S.
Garlic knots are amazing! Luna park white pizza with chicken added is perfection. Yum yum yum!
(5)Antares S.
Good pizza with one of the best lunch deals you're going to find in the area. You can't beat two large pieces of their pizza and a can of soda for just $4.50. The owner is almost always on premise and she's very nice. One final note: To Yelper Anna C. from Missouri... If you don't know what a Margherita pizza is, then why would you order it?
(4)Queen U.
Several months ago, I was on a business trip out East. This was originally a review for Tommy's Pizza, but really should have been a review for Napolitano's Brooklyn Pizza. After a very long day a couple of days ago, all I wanted was to get back to my room, have some wine and some eats. Someone at the facility I was auditing highly recommended Tommy's Pizza. Coming from Chicago, we have some great pizza places, so my expectations are somewhat high. But that doesn't mean that I can't eat a so so pizza if it has a decent enough crust and sauce. Plus I was starving like Marvin. So on the recommendation of someone who raved about this place, I ordered a pizza to go...I should have kept going to Domino's or Pizza Hut. Was so hungry that I decided to have a piece in the car. Maybe it is my imagination, but it tasted like the "yucky" pizza my daughter described that was served on Tuesdays when she was in grade school. Can't really say it tasted like a pizza. If I had to describe it, maybe Wonder Bread with some Ragu and cheese on it? Ended up throwing it away and driving back to the hotel. Told the doorman about the pizza and he recommended Napolitano's Brooklyn Pizza or Big Cheese. Ended up going to Napolitano's Brooklyn Pizza...great pizza but don't be fooled by the strip mall appearance. The flavors were fresh, the sauce was incredible and there was a nice balance of cheese to overall ingredients. My initial thought was that the area I was in had no idea what good pizza was. The person that recommended Tommy's Pizza has no taste buds if he thought they made great pizza. And I can't say that maybe it is because it is RI and they don't know pizza because Napolitano's did it right. Follow up to this review, as I was leaving to go back home, the doorman that sent me to Napolitano's strongly recommended the fries as they are seasoned in garlic, so the next time I am back in the area I bringing a crap load of Altoids and pizza and fries
(5)Carrie S.
I have eaten here several times. The first time, months ago, was amazing! Ever since then its been going down hill. One time, I ordered ricotta cheese on my pizza. When I got it home the cheese had melted all over the pizza and not in clumps like it should be but more of a melted mess. I then decided to switch it up and get tomatoes on my pizza. My tomatoes were sliced the thickness of a salad. I am not a fan of thickly sliced tomatoes on pizzas. It's happened a couple times now so I can't bring myself to try again. I seem to run into this with other places too so maybe it's the RI way. I am going to give it another try down the road in hopes that it will go back to the first time I tried them. I'm hopeful!
(3)Bill D.
My 8 year old loves Domino's, so it's a real treat to get pizza from just about anyplace else. Tonight we settled on Napolitano's, and it was a revelation. Pizza that tastes like, well, pizza. I had forgotten what that's like! Fresh ingredients, the right amount of toppings (enough to bring the flavor, but not so much it feels weighed down), crust that's the nice balance of crispy and doughy, yeah, this was just about perfect. And huge! If you're buying a whole pie, you're getting what is apparently the only size they make, 18 inches, so bring your eatin' pants or else just settle for a slice or two. The location's not super ideal (well, it's down the street from my house, so it's perfect for me, but probably not for anyone who doesn't venture down south of, say Garden City on Pontiac Ave. / East Street), and it's pretty small, but I think that only adds to the appeal. It's the sort of place you stumble across, and the hole in the wall-ness of the place itself only adds to its NYC appeal. Well worth seeking out, and yes, by all means, order the garlic knots. Just as good as advertised.
(5)Mara S.
Ordered delivery last night and pizza was very good! Plus the delivery guy was so nice to me and my kids.
(4)Eric W.
So coming to RI from NY it took me a long time to get over the fact that NY System Weiners were nothing like NY hot dogs. So when I came across Brooklyn pizza I was more than skeptical. Simply put there is no better pizza unless you drive to NY. Worth the drive and quite impressed by their delivery to me 4 miles away
(5)Leslie B.
This pizza is perfect.
(5)Joudi R.
Absolutely the BEST pizza we've EVER had in our lives! This place knows flavor! You can order a plain cheese pizza and be blown away by the taste! If you like cheese, don't bother ordering "extra" because it's already perfect. The slices are gigantic and the crust is delicious. The Luna Park white pie is my favorite. You can't go wrong with this place. I brought a pie to work and my co-workers went crazy for it! They're all pizza snobs who order from Boston's "North End", not anymore! They beg me to bring Napolitano's. I'd give 10 stars if it were possible.
(5)Phoebe R.
I literally can't get over the garlic knots. I work at a hotel nearby and we order from here fairly often. My usual chicken Caesar salad and garlic knot appetizer can't be beat. Very friendly staff and quick delivery!
(5)Kristi L.
Average at best. I found a weird aftertaste to the pizza which I still can't put my finger on. The place itself was kind of cruddy, and completely empty when we went on a Friday night.
(3)Elizabeth Y.
I am so happy the airlines lost our luggage, had it been on time we would have never ventured to Napolitanos for dinner Sunday. Thanks fellow Yelpers for pointing us here! A cozy and comfortable pizza joint you might be hard pressed to get a table, there are under 10 tables. If you can't get a table then take it to go. Had one if the best antipasto's ever this weekend. The plate had a variety of cheeses and meats and vegetables that tasted wonderful with the balsamic drizzle. Everything smelled so good we sampled many items including garlic knots, cheese pizza and margarite pizza. We ordered the cheese pizza to go because we were so stuffed but couldn't help but order it. The crust was thin and crispy and there was a perfect amount of sauce for me. The Margharite pizza was loaded with fresh plum tomatoes, basil and fresh mozzarella. The staff was friendly and helpful. Could not have asked for a better experience! Will be back!
(5)Meghan M.
If I could give more stars for Napolitano's I would!!! Growing up in New York and traveling to RI I knew that my family had to stop and find some good NY style pizza. Thank god we got the recommendation to stop here. Everything is so fresh and delicious, the crust is just crusty and thin enough, the dough is made in house, the sauce and cheese were the perfect blend. We also tried the Margherita pizza and OMG this is now my favorite place in the world. Make sure you try the garlic knots and meatball sub (apparently we ate ALOT of food). I make a habit of never eating meatballs outside the family since I'm always disappointed. Chef Christie must be my sister from another mister, because her meatballs were just like my mother's and grandmother's!!! I will make sure to go out of my way to always visit Napolitano's if I'm driving anywhere in RI, eastern CT or MA. It's worth the extra gas money to take this detour. Too bad they don't deliver to New York :)
(5)Felipe E.
Absolutely outstanding pizza! Subs are also delicious! If you go to Napolitanos, and you are not satisfied, then I would be shocked! Love this place!
(5)Jay G.
A bit of a hike from Seekonk; but well worth the drive. I tried Napolitano's based on the yelp reviews and was not disappointed. Perfectly prepared Brooklyn style pizza and a great value at the price.
(5)Jamis A.
I've been all over the world a few times in the military and have had a lot of opportunities to indulge in some quality deliciousness and this place nails it. Crust is rolled perfect, sauce is amazing, fresh cheese and cooked to perfection. Hands down best pizza in RI!!
(5)Rachel A.
I go to Napolitano's at least once a week, if not multiple times. That in itself says a lot about the business, but I will continue nonetheless. I have not had anything there that I wouldn't order again. Typically I try to eat "clean" so I get the Fillet with Sweet Potato Fries. Absolute ambrosia. The steak is delectable and the fries are easily the best sweet potato fries I have ever had. If you are looking for a good pizza place, this is also the place to go. Perfect crust, they don't skimp on the toppings, love it. In regards to the service there, top notch. They are so kind and hospitable. We rush in there right before they close and they never complain. We order items that are not the norm for a pizza place and they always deliver. They bend over backwards to accommodate their guests and it is so refreshing in the world we live in now. If you haven't tried Napolitano's, you are missing out. Get over there!
(5)Jessica D.
I purchased a Groupon because the reviews on Yelp were fantastic and boy oh boy - did this place deliver. Be warned if your order the Sicilian - that thing is a BEAST - and they are not lying when they say it has a thick crust. The garlic knots were so good, we're still burping up garlic the next day. Very glad this place was on Groupon or I would never have known it was there. They have some amazing specialty pizzas on the menu that we are looking forward to trying next time we go. They also have pizza by the slice if you don't want to purchase an entire pizza and just give it a try. We will be back even after the Groupons are gone!

Are you freakin' kiddin' me! The dude makes a fresh calzone right in front of me with the freshest roasted garlic, some really good artichokes and BAM-I'm transported back to Staten Island! That's right, NOT Brooklyn, only because I didn't grow up in that Borough eating calzones as a kid. This place is spot on though-they're even expanding the pizzeria next door to include a sit down family restaurant. I WILL BE BACK FOR CERTAIN! BTW I really dug the Coney Island pix on the wall!

Our family was passing through and decided to stop based on the yelp ratings. We were not disappointed having been brought up in NYC. We had a large pie with broccoli and roasted garlic. Pizza was fantastic and all if the ingredients were fresh. The owner is originally from Ny and it shows. She was welcoming and very warm. Decor is simple but that's not why you come here. We're headed through the area on Saturday and plan to stop there again.

Napoitano's is fabulous! I have had sandwiches and pizzas and have thoroughly enjoyed everything. The service is friendly, delivery is quick, and the delivery person is always friendly. One of my favorite restaurants!

Could have eaten the garlic knots all night. Fabulous! My daughter had a healthy portion of spaghetti and meatballs, which usually results in the meatballs left lonely and mostly untouched in the bottom of the bowl. Not this time. The rest of us had pizza, including thin crust cheese (son) and a half sheet pepperoni and sausage pie. We'll probably go thin crust all the way around next time to reduce the amount of bread, but it's definitely some very tasty bread. Ingredients were all very fresh and delicious. I think it was the owner behind the counter, slaving away in the heat but treating us quite well throughout. She even tossed in a couple fried dough treats to top off the first rate meal.

You pay a little more for fresh products and excellent pizza! Two slices of this pizza fills me up more than half a pizza from Domino's. Not familiar with NY style pizza, but if it's like this I may have to visit more often. One 18" could easily feed 4, and its the best pizza I've had in RI outside Antonio's on Thayer Street. Hopefully my next visit will be good as this one. If your in the area and in the mood for pizza give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

As many others have said, some of the best pizza in RI. I really liked pier pizza company, but ever since they closed their cranston location i have been looking for a place that serves good thin crust pizza, and I found it at Napolitano's. The white pizza is my favorite, and the regular cheese pizza is real new york style and is great as well. Just be careful with the white pizza, they put a ton of whole garlic cloves on it which can be a little overwhelming, so we always get it with minced garlic instead, also with fresh tomatoes, makes a great white pizza. Garlic fries are very good, and looking to try the burgers soon as they sound appetizing. I have also had the wings with sweet sauce which i would recommend if you don't like spicy stuff, my brother really liked the buffalo wings too. And the pizzas are huge, one pizza can feed more people than you think, but we don't mind having extra, this pizza is good the next day as well, heated or cold. And I read below the owner said they are opening a second location in Providence, which I look forward to as I just moved from cranston to the east side, but even if they were not opening in prov I would have made the trek to cranston/Warwick line for this pizza.

amazing, delicious, the best food in RI. i live close to NYC and I would drive the 2.5 hours to eat Chef Christie's garlic knots and calzones and pizza and even the salad tastes amazing! this is not your typical pizza place. the ingredients are hand picked and the mozzarella is made in-house. this girl should be running a full out restaurant in the city. it's downright surprising the kind of food coming out of this tiny rinky-dink looking place. i was so impressed that I've been having my dinner parties catered by Napolitano's, and the food is fantastic every time, my guests are beginning to request that I get Napolitano's! RI is lucky to have Napolitano's, don't miss out.

It's not everyday that you find a pizzeria using all FRESH and REAL ingredients. I've had everything from a large cheese pizza (which is huge) to the grilled chicken and glazed onion sandwich (which is also huge), and it was all great. To order a meatball calzone and actually get REAL HOME MADE MEATBALLS is shocking these days. The chicken parmasean sandwich was unbelievable, and again, made with real chicken and fresh mozzarella. The pizza is great and so is the crust (which is big in my book), my favorite is plain cheese, but I had the Magherita, and that may be taking the #1 spot! Everyone who works there has always been very friendly and personable, my deliveries always arrive in a timely fashion which is nice, because I'm a big eater and I pretty much have food on my mind all day.

I grew up in and around NY and the food here brings me back to what a NY Pizzaria is all about! Pizza by the slice, and calzones with ricotta in them. The people who work here super nice!

Napolitano's Brooklyn Pizza .. just another pizza joint in a strip mall, right? Not. Even. Close. Most pizza shops these days use pre-packaged ingredients, maybe "kick up" the canned sauces and soups a bit. Most places use the same frozen French fries and mozzarella sticks. If you want scratch-made, awesome food made from quality ingredients, by people who love what they do, head to this place NOW. The pizza (available by the slice, or a whole pie) is genuine NY-style. All the sandwiches and burgers are made fresh. No frozen pre-made burger patties here - they're all hand-pressed. And the fries. Don't leave without trying the fries. They toss them in some sort of garlic seasoning (with fresh garlic - not garlic powder) that gives them such incredible flavor. I could spend the afternoon there just eating fries. They have a lunch special, 2 slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza, and a soda, for 4.50. The slices are huge, fold-in-half-and-eat slices. So if you are in the Cranston area, this is the best lunch in town.
