I've always enjoyed Boston Market meals for a fresh, healthy alternative to traditional fast food. However, I too often forget its tucked away in the Garden City area. Tonight's dinner call after several months' absence was a wonderful reminder that I need to remember it more often. Restaurant is clean even during a busy dinner service and the staff is incredibly friendly, professional and eager to please. I tried the Southwestern Salad Bowl with chicken breast for the first time ever, and it won't be the last. Upon ordering, I was a bit surprised when the server pointed to the refrigerated display to pick a pre-maid salad, but it tasted as fresh as if it had been prepared to order. When the server asked whether I would like to add chicken breast to it, I eagerly handed it over and the meat carver got to work. Very impressed with the salad -- I'll order it again soon -- a welcome change from my usual quarter chicken meal. So, note to self -- when you're in the market for tasty, home-style cooking fast, this Boston Market is a memorable and satisfying.

My mother walked into the establishment today after we placed an order online through the app and although the order arrived later due to a system glitch the staff was kind enough to take my call and immediately prepare the meal as ordered. They knew she was on a tight schedule and we're kind enough to take her order right away and also apologized about the delay in the online system this could have been a negative experience but the staff worked to make it right . I've been to this location probably 100's of times in the last 7 years and have always had a pleasurable experience . Thank you again.

Didn't really enjoy my experience here and will likely will not return. Food cold, staff slightly rude. Stared at my husband and I the entire time we are. Sorry we brought our own water bottles into the restaurant. Didn't think that was a cause for alarm. When I tried to order, the manager, who was taking my order interrupted me to start laughing with another customer.

It would be nice if the staff wore gloves when preparing your meal, especially when it looks like they just got done changing the oil in their cars. Food is actually very good and the staff are polite, the dirty hands just ruined the experience.

I give this Boston Market 4 stars because the service was excellent. Okay, they didn't have a whole chicken ready but we weren't upset when they offered us the equivalent in mixed white and dark meat. We picked the green beans, the mashed potatoes and the macaroni (rotini really, which I love,) and cheese as sides with the 3 person meal. It came with 3 cornbreads but we had to buy drinks. The cons? We probably didn't get our money's worth since we didn't get two breasts as a part of the 4 sections that usually come in a divided chicken. The starchy sides taste like they're loaded with salt and fat. The chickens are smaller than they used to be. The cornbread looks like it's made of mostly flour with a small amount of cornmeal. The pros: the vegetables are not covered in large amounts of grease like they use to be. There are a good amount of vegetable sides if you don't want a fat/salt/carb overload. The chickens are not greasy like they use to be either. You can choose a "family meal" or a single meal or whatever you want, it's pretty convenient. The cornbread is moist, not dry like old fashioned style cornbread usually is. Drinks are at a serve yourself fountain so you can get refills. This Boston Market is in the shopping strip next to University Heights. It can be pretty hairy dealing with the parking lot and North Main Street. You'd find healthier food at the adjacent Whole Foods but the comfort food choices here and flavors are very satisfying. And the staff is so pleasant which means a lot in Providence.

A really solid choice when you're seeking comfort food without spending a fortune. The quality of the food is consistently good, and the service is always friendly. My biggest concern is how Boston Market can run out of chicken...ever. On more than 3 occasions now I have walked into the store and have been offered ribs, chicken pot pies, what have you due to the lack of chicken. That's like McDonald's running out of burgers. Sure, there are alternatives...but this is your namesake!

Clean, neat, good service. Food was hot and ready, staff was very professional and well prepared for lunch rush. Seems to be the Police Officer hang out on lunch hour ;)

I love this Boston Market. I have been a faithful customer here since it opened in the early 90's. The staff goes out of their way to make you happy. The portions are huge and the food always fresh and hot. I never leave hungry. Where else can you get a nice, healthy, well balanced meal for 8 bucks? I can't think of another place. When they have the buy one get one free deal on Saturdays it is like giving the food away! 5 Stars to Boston Market. Please keep up the good work!!!!

Cranston Location * I give "this location" 4 stars.... * Staff here is super nice, and the establishment is always clean. * Parking is so so due to the overflow at Dunkin Donuts Boston Market as a whole company. * 2.5 stars. The company has gone down hill with the quality of its chicken. I am not sure if it's due to economic pressures to deliver a decently priced bird, but I would pay more to have the old Boston Market back. I swear the whole chicken (what I always buy) use to be much bigger, and more flavorful. I still go in from time to time, but its not the same Boston Market of yesteryear. * I am not a huge fan of spinach, but the spinach dip is absolutely amazing. * Mash potatoes and gravy, I am getting hungry just thinking about it. * Marconi and cheese, another great side. * Cornbread biscuits are just ok. To summarize Great staff clean location. Quality of chicken has gone downhill for the company as a whole which is the main contributing factor for its rating of 2.5 stars for the company.

I normally shy away from reviewing chains because there's really no point to writing about something that's the same everywhere. But this place is a breath of fresh air. The chicken here is always good. Herbed, soft, and just the right kind of salty, fall off the bone good. The sides are good too. Oh, and they also have this great habanero dipping sauce, which adds a surprisingly good kick to the chicken. But what I was most impressed with was the service. This isn't your run of the mill counter store where someone plops food on your plate. The staff were very attentive, smiled, talked and even walked our plates to our table. What more could you ask for? I was extremely impressed as that kind of service is usually expected (although not always delivered) at places where you're out half a paycheck for a meal. Really brightened up lunch. Will be back for sure.
