This restaurant is only rated 2/5 because some morons are looking for attention. I've been here numerous times and had great experiences all of them! The buns are coated in butter and they taste great! I have ribs here whenever I. Go and they're the best I've had in NEPA!

Horrible. This place looks impressive, but it is like a movie set in the not too distant future where things look good on the surface but are horribly flawed. Service is slow and inconsistent, the steaks are bland and served cold. My brother got a medium rare steak served super well done. Even the ribs taste like they were braised in liquid smoke and not smoked for real. The best thing about the meal were the peanuts that they serve as you sit and the rolls that come with every meal. Everything else was the pits.

Service was good. Kitchen is slow. Steak was not hot, warm at best,

Service was very slow waited for a long time for our drinks. The food was so salty could not even eat the fries or the mushrooms. The mason jar mixed drinks tasted like pond water smells. Had a bad case of heart burn when I left. In all had a not pleasant dining experience.

Cold burger, cold French fries, bad service. Trifecta of awful complete. Never again. p.s. The manager came out and was very apologetic, took my food off the bill. Still a debacle of a lunch though.

Went here the other night against my better judgement after reading the poor reviews. I realize it was a Monday night but I still expected to see more than 3 or 4 other tables occupied, I started getting nervous. We were seated promptly, but, they have 2 buckets on the tables, one full of peanuts and the other for the empty shells. It would have been nice if they emptied the shell bucket when they cleaned the table. Still, we moved forward and placed and order. I ordered the steak and shrimp while my wife ordered a petite steak. The service wasn't as bad as I had anticipated, but it really should've been faster since the place was basically empty. The food was average, not bad at all but still nothing to rave about either. Then came time to pay, once we declined to order dessert (we were full) it would have been swell if the waitress could have took our dirty dishes before bringing us the check. Overall it wasn't a terribly bad experience but I think the biggest problem is the staff. Don't get me wrong, our waitress was pleasant but I don't think she really wanted to be there.

This is the second Logan's I have eaten at and hopefully it will be the last. I ate at one in Phoenix a few months ago and have it a poor review as well. I only ate here out of desperation. I was visiting family and this was the only place with less than a 1 hour wait. There was about a 30 minute wait though. I have no idea why this place is so popular. The food is so greasy and the service is SLOW (same experience in Phoenix location). Do yourself a favor and skip this overpriced grease pit altogether.

I have to say: we almost didn't try Logan's after reading the review but we did and boy, were we impressed and happy! We will definitely go again! Kayla was our server and she was GREAT! I overheard her telling another table that she taught school all day and then showed up to be a server with a GREAT ATTITUDE! And our food was delicious. I had a 6 oz filet done medium that was done perfectly and very tender. My friend had the mesquite chicken and he loved his. The buns are OUT OF THIS WORLD. The salad was fresh and good. And the sweet potatoes were awesome. Also, if you sign up for their email program online you will immediately get a $5 coupon on a $20 purchase. We used it last night and our whole bill was under $31. (no alcohol) We will definitely go back and are going to ask for Kayla!

Service was excellent, but I wasn't impressed with the food. The chili was kind of sweet but did have an okay spice at the end. I was not into my steak - the smokey flavor was weird and it wasn't what I would expect for the price - not very tender or tasty. If you're looking for a good steak from a chain restaurant, go to Outback.

Terrible. I should've known when I called and for call ahead seating that I should've stayed away from this place with the attitude that I got on the phone. There was no enthusiasm in her voice and she acted like it wasn't a big deal if I chose this restaurant or not. This is a steak restaurant, you're supposed to know what to do. I ordered "the Logan" and even though it's not the best cut of meat I expected it to at least be cooked somewhere close to what I asked it to be. I asked for medium well and I got leather. I also ordered sauté onions and they just left them there for me to get cold while there we cooking me a new steak. The service was so so it was pretty obvious nobody wanted to be there. Finally, would it be too much to ask for this restaurant to add a filter for their water? I enjoy drinking water when I go out and don't feel like I should have to buy bottled water in order to get something decent. Their stuff taste like it comes straight from the city water. No manager came to my table to make sure everything was okay. Does one work there?

Slow service when it isn't even busy. Party of 6 and we were waited on promptly and had some nice rolls while we were waiting...and waiting...waiting...wai, you get the idea. About a 45 minute wait on our meal. Ridiculous. 2 shrimp dishes, 2 steaks, a sandwich and chicken tenders. I cold crank that out of my own kitchen from scratch in that time. Over cooked my prime rib, (Which was NOT prime meat, no way) screwed up the shrimp (which look like the pre-cooked garbage you see at the grocery store) that were plated across the table from me...average to below average in almost all regards. I wrote the majority of this on my phone as I was waiting for my 'fixed' prime to come back from the kitchen...when it came (about 4-5 minutes) it was a new piece of meat, but had been obviously microwaved. Cold, and I mean cold from the fridge, in spots (a block of fat was SOLID on the side) yet juicy and just warm in others. Toughest 'prime' beef I've even heard about. Waitress was really nice, but couldn't make up for the ridiculous wait for screwed up orders and poorly done at that. Avoid this place, save your money and go to the bar across the street or the Chinese buffet behind it.

Don't let the one-star rating mislead you. I've never had a bad experience here. We had a very attentive server on our latest visit there and the food was excellent.

I am updating this review based on a recent visit. We went to Logan's on Labor Day because we had a buy one entree get one free coupon that was in the paper. When we got there, we were told it would be up to an hour wait. We decided to wait because we hadn't had the ribs in a long time, and had been looking forward to eating there all day. After waiting about 15 minutes, my husband said.. "should I go ask if they are out of ribs?". Needless to say, he did, and they were. RIDICULOUS! If there is going to be an hours wait, they should tell you up front that they are out of one of the biggest menu items! Thank God my husband thought to ask based on our prior experiences. I am changing my rating to two stars because while the food is good, what good is the food if they are out of it?

I am so sad that so many other fellow Yelpers didn't enjoy their Logan experience. My kids and I discovered this place many years ago down in Disney, where eating outside the park is always a very intelligent decision! We found a Logans in Kissimee and absolutely LOVED it! Their rolls, the peanuts, the service and the food was so good and so cheap for the area we were at. When we saw this Logan's we couldn't refrain from cheers!! We were like kids at Christmas! Service was perfect. Attentive, not over-bearing and everything we needed was there before we even missed it. Our server was kind and sincere and a breath of fresh air from the people we deal with in our neck of the woods. Our table had so much food on it, we didn't know where to begin. The entire meal for 4 full entrees came to $52 including the tip.(no drinks) We were full and satisfied. Food was delicious. Salad was fresh. Rolls were to die for. We will be returning our next visit to WIlkes-Barre!

I liked to get the roadies here. The bread is amazing. On my past visit the waitress was EXTREMELY SLOW! The manager was walking around and was talking to tables in our area. He ask the table in front of us how they were and then skipped right over us and went to the table behind us and asked how their food was. About 20 minutes later he did pretty much the same thing looked at our table and just skipped right over us again. Never asked how we were doing. Seems like everytime I have been here ( about 10 times) the service is horrible. The one waiter was standing against the soda machines just watching and baseball game pretty much the entire time we were there. Unbelievable... doubt I will go back.

Read the reviews and went anyways. I got what I deserved, but the staff was friendly and slow as many have written. Food was mediocre, but had to wait 10 minutes for bill and then an additional 4:25 minutes (yes I was petty and timed) once she took my card and then played on her phone. To top the night I asked for plasticware and a side of steak sauce. She made the joke...guess you don't have that at your hotel, no problem. Got back to room with neither. Such potential especially with friendly staff, too bad they don't do what they say and want their job.

Can only go a couple stars. I wasn't expecting luxury, but I'd like to be able to know what to expect. Our group ordered 4 steaks - two of them varied in "doneness" from one end to the other - ranging from well done to rare. My steak was slightly undercooked for a medium rare and another medium rare was overcooked. All were still eatable - but that needs fixing. Bread and salad were good. Service was good.
