Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. I stopped in today to pick up a sub for my neighbor and while I was there I saw they had Buffalo Chicken slices so I ordered a slice. Now Buffalo Chicken pizza in my opinion is hard to pull off so much can go wrong the cheese, chicken, sauce crust you name it. But these folks not only hit it over the wall it went over the stands and out of the park. Everything blended well together, I mean it REALLY did! Also my neighbor swears by there subs. Without a doubt they are the top dog in the Slatington area

If you are in the area or a local I strongly recommend this eatery. Neighborhood pizza shop with FANTASTIC fare. Great NY style pizza, the toppings are fresh and plentiful. The fries are fried well not greasy and flavorful. I am not a fry fan at all, but I finished the basket. They were great, no salt or ketchup needed. Most of the customers seemed to be ordering the steak sandwiches so they too, must be amazing. I had the veggie white pizza. It was delicious. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating was because they had plumbing issue and the drop ceiling was exposed. They placed some buckets next to me catching the water leaking from overhead pipes. Otherwise, the place was clean and the service was friendly and fast. The prices were very reasonable. I tried to talk the owner into opening a location closer to me. I will be returning to this restaurant soon. It is worth the drive.

The fries are delicious! They don't even need ketchup. I recommend the Sal's Grinder, Deep Dish Pizza, and Fries. We've also enjoyed their cheesesteaks.

The sausage pizza and pasta fagioli soup was fantastic!!!! Had this after my sons birthday party (swimming with 22 kids wears you out) and the people inside brought the food out to my car! I didn't even have to Go in. I pulled in, an employee was just getting out of his car, asked what I ordered and brought it out two minutes later. No complaints, love this place. Also, the one day they forgot our sandwich and they walked it up to our dealership. Great customer service these guys are awesome.

Sal's is known throughout the Lehigh Valley for one thing and one thing only - awesome sicilian pizza. After living here my entire life, I am sad to say it took me this long to have their delicious pizza. We ordered a 16" Sicilian with mushrooms for lunch with a friend. Sicilian pizza for those who don't know, is a bready doughier versiion of pizza. This box was like a lead weight when we picked it up. It was hot, fresh and totally yummy. Good food is hard to find in this neck of the woods, Sal's is a reliable favorite.

Great food, friendly staff, awesome service. One of the top pizza places in town. Everything we order here taste great. They tend to get super busy on weekends, but they drive on and get you your food in a timely manner. Once again, really friendly people. This is important to me. Nothing like going to eat and being treated like dirt. Check this place out.

Good pizza and the folks that work here are very nice. However, they are not consistant with the pricing when special items are ordered. If you get pizza from here, stick with what is on the menu... no special requests. Otherwise, pizza decent - but prefer to drive to Tony's in Palmerton.

This is my go-to pizza place, since I live less then a mile away. Nothing out of the ordinary for a pizza place, except I've never seen fried cauliflower before. Everyone that works there is very nice, but there's definitely a language barrier, so be prepared to repeat yourself.
