Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Nasty soggy Pizza!

This location is in front of Maaco, beside Super Shoes, near Wal-Mart. The owner only owns this one restaurant and is not affiliated in any way with the other Palumbo locations. I have known the owner for the past twenty years and love the food. I delivered for them for 10 years and I still eat there as often as I can. Get your pizza well done. They have a lot of customers that complain of over cooked pizza (the people in the area are a little weird regarding this), so they tend to under cook the pizza to prevent complaints. The lasagna is delicious as is the steak special sub - I get mine without the cheese so that I can taste the steak and other toppings! They use freshly shredded mozzarella and freshly chopped veg that they prepare themselves in-house. The salads are delicious. The bread and pizza dough is made from flour in-house daily. No chemicals here! My only complaint would be the old-world Italian attitude which can be a little off-putting if you are not used to it.

My new favorite pizza place on the Carlisle pike, and I was born and raised in North Jersey. 'Nuff said.

This pizza place should be ranked higher. My family and I tried the cheese pizza and a vegetable pizza (red sauce). Delicious! Prepared by a professional and friendly crew. We will certainly be back!

Had 2 different subs from here. Disappointing especially for the price. It was mainly lettuce and the staff came across rude.

I had a stromboli, not that great. My first time here, probably my last.

Stopped in for a few slices of that delicious 'Grandma's Pizza' and was unfortunately disappointed. Even though this restaurant is owned by the same people who own the 2nd street location, it wasn't nearly the same amazing taste. Fortunately, the other slices we tried were delicious, especially the tomato and broccoli; thin, crispy, and loaded up with toppings. Good pizza, just stick to Palumbo's downtown for the real Grandma's.

pretty decent pizza spot. the slices are fresh and hot. the staff is friendly. their sandwiches are reliably good. the food is quick, hot and very reasonably priced.

I'm a fan. I usually just get mushroom or straight-up cheese. There's nothing about it that will blow you away but I find the overall consistency/texture perfect. Its exactly the kind of chewy. just-needs-a-little-tug kind of crust that i love, none of this crunchy stuff. Not too much cheese nor sauce. I find the beauty in the overall balance of the pizzas.
