I haven't been to Ruby Tuesday in ages and I'm glad we went tonight. The menu has changed - and grown up a bit. We had a delicious shrimp appetizer and two different burgers (Bison and Veggie). We cleared our plates and our glasses - which were full of Sam Adams and White Sangria (which was way more delicious than I expected from a place like Tuesdays). Overall I was very very pleased. The food was good, the drinks great and the service awesome.

Work meetings allllllllways have me eating eating eating! Smh. But surprisingly, I didn't feel guilty this time around! The salmon was prepared perfectly and the roasted zucchini was absolutely exquisite: not too soft and the char from the roasting added the burst of flavor. Mashed potato tasted too artificial and drenched in butter. Mango lemonade with fresh mango chunks was refreshing and refillable! Service was quick and our server was sweetheart. The decor of the place? Ehhh, standard chain decor and it was a bit dark. Prices, ehhh, I guess! Lol

Typical chain with very mediocre prime burgers and okay service. The white cheddar mashed potatoes were pretty good though. Fries were pretty meh.

Well...I have mixed feelings about my experience. As a vegetarian I was delighted to see quite a few options on the menu (ok, only about 3, but that's pretty good for a chain restaurant). First off, I would like to note that the cheddar biscuits served at the beginning of the meal were a very nice touch. I think Red Lobster's cheddar-artery-clogging-biscuits are still better, but these were pretty darn good. the Entree: I opted for the veggie trio (choice of 3 sides) plus the salad "garden" bar. The sides I chose being: 1. Grilled Zucchini- Buttery (or oily?) nicely grilled zucchini, nothing out of the ordinary but were very tasty 2. Grilled string beans- same as above 3. Mashed Cauliflower- this was the real winner! So very creamy! Most enjoyable. But that garden bar... The "garden" bar was bad. The garden bar was more representitive of a drought than a bountiful garden. Once upon a time I remembered Ruby Tuesday's having a really nice salad bar, with lots of options...Fast forward to my dinner tonight, no bueno. The salad bar is SERIOUSLY lacking anything interesting. Basically here's the gist: -lettuce or spinach -cucumbers -tomatoes -raw broccoli -carrots -edamame beans -peas -uncooked zucchini (I don't understand) -ham chunks -hard boiled egg crumbles -shredded cheddar cheese -3 unidentified slimy looking salads (one pasta salad?, one fruit salad? one mystery salad?...they looked so bad) -unidentified dressings -sunflower seeds -croutons Now I know some of you are looking at this and thinking, "gee that sounds a-ok to me" But for the rest of you (especially you vegetarians) are probably thinking "gee that sounds like the most boring salad bar i've ever seen" My salad consisted of: Spinach leaves Carrot shreds Peas Edamame (because that was one of only 2 vegetarian proteins) hard boiled egg shreds (the other unfortunate vegetarian protein) a sprinkling of salty sunflower seeds. Where is the cottage cheese or yogurt? Where are chick peas (or any other soy-free legume??) Where are beets? Where is purple cabbage? Where are olives? Where are red or yellow peppers? Where is non-slimy fruit? Where are nuts? ...Not at Ruby Tuesdays. Very disappointing.

Not impressed. My steak was tough. The zucchini, however, was excellent.

We visit our local Ruby Tuesday on occasion. What really draws me to RT are the crab cakes. I love them. Large chunks of fresh crab, light binder of bread and celery, seasoned just right with a spicy blend, and pan fried to a crisp finish. Pair this with a light salad (from the combo menu) or a salad and a side (from the dinner menu), and this is one elegant dinner at a very reasonable price for crab cakes of this caliber. For a time, they took the crab cakes off the menu. (They claimed that the price of crab had escalated to a point where it was not cost effective for the restaurant to serve them.) During those crabless days, I tried other RT dishes, such as the shrimp and grits (really enjoyed that, too) and the petite sirloin (good flavor but sometimes a little tough). Customers must have been very vocal about the crab cakes, because they did not stay off the menu for long. On tonight's visit, the garden bar was full of fresh ingredients and a few salads (potato, pasta, fruit, broccoli). (My husband likes the potato salad.) I usually opt for a nice helping of single ingredients (spring mix, spinach, mushrooms, raw broccoli, chopped onion, chopped egg, and shredded parmesan with a dab of blue cheese dressing and ground black pepper). There was more to choose from, of course, including olives, tomatoes, edamame, peas, raw zucchini, croutons, and sunflower seeds. This evening, I ordered the crab cake dinner with the garden bar and a side of spaghetti squash. My husband ordered the petite sirloin with coconut shrimp, french fries and the garden bar. My crab cakes were perfect. A small cup of spicy mayonnaise-based sauce and a lemon wedge accompany the cakes, but they needed neither. My husband enjoyed his choice, too. My husband also tried an RT signature drink, the "Ruby Relaxer," a blend of fruit juices, vodka, and peach schnapps that was a beautiful ruby color. He was smiling quite a bit as he sipped it... Our beverages were accompanied by four miniature cheese biscuits, which are tasty. So our local RT rates a happy four starts from us, with a mention that the crab cakes themselves are five star all the way and among the best I have tasted on my travels. And bonus - RT often distributes "buy one entree get one 50%" and "$5 off an order of $15 or more" in local papers and the local coupon packet. A nice reduction in the bill or an excuse to splurge on one of those Ruby Relaxers, an appetizer, or a dessert.

I have visited, happily, Ruby Tuesdays in NH, NJ, and now Pennsylvania. I asked for the air conditioning to be turned down as I was FREEZING. It was never altered. I asked for the chicken tenders NOT to be overcooked and they arrived so overcooked as to be almost burned! I sent them back and I received a visit by the manager!!! He asked about the issue and I repeated my request and he asked if I wanted to order something different as he did not think they would be able to cook them less??!!! I said, so in other words, you feel you can only BURN them?? And told him I didn't want anything else if they couldn't cook them right. So, he said they'd "try." Then, they did come back in perfect shape, the way I have eaten them up and down the East Coast!! I did not appreciate being made to feel like I had to justify myself and that I was probably wrong. I will say the chicken soup was delicious, as was the chicken tenders when they "undercooked" them. But I froze the whole time and felt "challenged" instead of welcomed.

Historically I'm not a complainer. That said, my meal was mostly awful. I ordered the blacked NY Strip Steak, medium rare, grilled zucchini, and loaded baked potato. Steak- overcooked, super thin, and drowning in some random sauce that apparently it comes with. Not blackened. Baked Potato- I don't know what was wrong with this thing. I LIVE for loaded taters. This one tasted like it took a swim in the dirty toilet first. The sour cream I swear was expired and spoiled, and the butter did not even taste like butter. Dislike. Zucchini- excellent. I decided to order dessert to make up for the steak and potato I didn't eat. I asked for a Blondie. The waitress/bar tender who is a massive space cadet, ordered me the tiny two bite size. That was NOT what I asked for. I paid my check and she asked if I wanted a drink to go. I said sure, a strawberry lemonade to go would be great (since mine was 3 sips away from being done). She brought me a Togo coffee cup and a lid. Not a drink to go. Total fail, RT. I go to you because you're consistent. Now you only stay in my life for the full size Blondie.

This place is a train wreck. Poorly managed, untrained staff, marginal food. It was a long, irritating evening when we ate there last week. Be prepared to have your coat moved around the restaurant by the wait staff as they won't be happy with anywhere that you want to put it. Ours ended up back in a location that they first wouldn't let us use (but then insisted we put back?). Bizarre. Kids' hamburgers were clearly out of a frozen sleeve of pre-prepared patties. They said they tasted pretty bad. Salad bar was dirty and lettuce had gross pieces in it. So long, Ruby Tuesdays. Won't be back.

Would not recommend this place. Ordered crabcakes and they were more like crap cupcakes. Two tiny 3 oz or less of crabcakes. Called the manager over and he agreed that they are small, but its what they serve. No offer to make it better. Never felt this ripped of for a 16 dollar dinner plate.

So very unimpressed. The salad bar looked like it was never refreshed, the drinks were stingy and they layout is horrible. Walked into the bathroom and then right back out again. Yuck.

This is better than other Ruby locations. Servers were attentive and management came by twice to ask if our meal was going well. The food was extremely hot and fresh. In particular, the chicken fingers appetizer was free of fat and veins like you might find at restaurants like Friendly's. Staff seemed knowledgeable about restaurant and menu. The only thing I disliked about it was the parking. You have to enter through the Lowe's parking lot which can take a bit to figure out.

Maybe four years ago my wife and I had a good meal at Ruby Tuesday in Princeton area. Apparently that menu is long gone and Langhorne store is shorter on service too. I ordered a raspberry iced tea. It came in a pilsner glass with more than an inch of raspberry seeds at the bottom. I got a throatful of seeds. I never eat seeds because they trigger a very unpleasant reaction and a gag reflex. My server seemed to think that I should be happy because the seeds were a sign of real fruit in the drink. I asked for plain water. It came with a twisted lemon wedge floating and seeds on the bottom. Right after I told the server about my seed problem. The new menu at the time had none of what we came for. The portions were definitely too skimpy for doggy bags. It took me two years to try again. Our foursome of adults had a few minute wait and were led to a booth. We asked to be seated at a nearby empty table instead. She took us back to the hostess desk. We passed at least one other empty four-top on way. We were told the wait was now one hour!! I explained that we already had a table to trade. They could just swap us out with the people who they were going to seat at the empty tables. This concept escaped the head hostess. So Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday. At least one Assistant Manager and two hostesses need some re-training in customer service. I really don't want to go back again. I also want to say the portions still looked skimpy in the dishes I saw. And many restaurants give you a salad or soup with your entree. Ruby Tuesday gives you a salad, makes you get up and get it yourself and charges you for the privelege.

Food is pretty good, fresh, hot, nice presentation. Service was great. Salad bar was small but adequate. It was also not crazy expensive.

We started coming here once the Ruby Tuesday in Bensalem closed. This one is pretty good. Salad bar is a good perk, I always get it. The service isn't great. I've had to ask for the biscuits 3 times I've gone, while other tables get them without asking.

We love this place. It is the only resturant with a fresh salad bar. My husband's favorite drink is the Ruby Relaxer. The resturant is clean, the staff always greets you with a smile and the servers are very friendly.

I've come here a couple times recently and had decent experiences. The restaurant is nice and clean, providing a nice atmosphere for casual or business affairs. Service has been friendly and timely, though I did have a wrong order. My salmon caesar wrap came as a chicken caesar salad, and when I mentioned that I had ordered the wrap, I received a chicken caesar wrap (which I don't think was a menu option). I didn't want to send it back again, though. The food is okay. The biscuits are okay but not great. They're pretty tiny, and they use the same size plate regardless of the number of people (which is the number of biscuits they bring out) in a party. It looks a little sad to have two tiny biscuits sliding around a plate. They're too sweet and dense for me. I've also had their petit sirloin well done (I'm wary of raw meats) and it was really good--quite tender and delicious. I liked the minimal seasoning on it. I also found the portion to be much easier to handle, even for dinner. I had it with asparagus and spaghetti squash as sides, both of which I thought were way too heavily seasoned. As mentioned above, I've also had a chicken caesar wrap which was pretty good. There wasn't much wrap folded in on itself; even at the ends, I didn't feel overwhelmed by a bite of wrap. It came with sweet potato fries, which were okay. I would've preferred them crispier and unseasoned. I also thought their French fries were a little soggy. Okay food and decent service, but the coupons are an enticing reason to eat here when I'm in the area.
