Here's the deal. I love Bertucci's. I go to Bertucci's A LOT. This particular branch of the chain has been the location of 2 of my worst dining experiences ever. The first involved a bottle of wine, a waitress who didn't know how to read an ID, and THE WORST general manager I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The fact that this man was a manager was disturbing, but GM unbelievable. He actually YELLED at me. YELLED. He's been in the service industry HOW long to become a GM, and then to YELL at a paying customer, when HE was the one who was actually wrong is appalling. THEN to add insult to injury he gave us the wine, because he finally read the ID properly (my husband is 30 years old by the way, his ID shouldn't have been an issue especially since we were there w/ my 85 year old grandmother and my mom), but STILL did not apologize for being a jerk! The second awful experience involved a really stupid waitress and another stupid manager. I rarely stoop to name calling but these two were like dumb and dumber. I asked for my salad with dressing on the side. She brought it out WITH dressing and said "I know you said on the side, but I forgot" and put it in front of me. Then she gave my husband his "medium well" steak completely raw. We sent both back. I NEVER send food back, I worked in restaurants long enough to know NOT to do that, but I had to b/c she so obviously just did not care enough to get the orders right. She comes back with my salad- still with dressing on it, just a few new clean pieces of lettuce at the bottom. What part of "NO dressing" was this woman not understanding. At this point my husband's steak is like shoe leather by the way, but he's suffering through it. I ended up just sending the whole salad back and telling her I wasn't going to have anything. Fast forward to when she brings the check- she says "we took the salad off, just so you know." ... Ummm I sure hope you took the salad off, I didn't touch it! She and her manager acted like they were doing me a favor. Unbelievable! Worst. Bertucci's. Ever.

I know it's a chain, but since I live on the West Coast, I only get to go here when I'm out on the East Side...Every time I've been to a Bertucci's (and this is no exception), I've had good food and good service. Don't go there expecting high class cuisine, but for the money, it's good value and a nice casual place to get lunch or dinner. I love their warm little rolls and the flavored olive oil. This Bertucci's is in a mall parking lot, next to a Friday's. They have a long bar with a TV and a really cool bartender. My pasta special was penne with broccoli, sundried tomatoes, grilled chicken, feta cheese, and a white wine garlic sauce. It was tasty!

The food is fair to ok but the service is awful. I dont know if this location is worse than others but I can tell you that the staff at this store routinely get orders wrong, take forever to deliver meals and drinks and will make mistakes in the bill. The pizza is fair and good if you are hungry. The pasta is ok if they dont overcook it. The chicken dishes were good. The play dough and children's menu are good for the kids. The kid portions are (shockingly)appropriate. But the marinara sauce is not that much different from what you can get out of a jar from a grocery store. The salads have way too much dressing. The desserts are a waste of money because the pastry is made from the same squishy dough used in pizza and bread. During our most recent visit on a Monday night the waitress failed to give my wife a glass of water or to bring an appetizer out with the rest of the apps. She then botched our dessert order but jept the incorrect and higher price on the check. There were LONG waits between each course, the last of which generated an apology from the manager. Bottom line: The food quality isnt good enough to compensate for the awful service. I dont think we will be going back anytime soon.

While it is a chain, everyone was pleased with their meals when we went last night. The best part? We were at Olive Garden first and they had a 50 minute wait even though we called first and they said there would be no problem. We called Bertucci's and they held a table for us for 15 minutes while we drove over and they were friendly and fast and honest! I'm all about service when it comes to eating out!!

Visited on 7/5/14 1. The menu had grease on every page. 2. The table was not wiped clean prior to seating my family. 3. The server was not attentive to the empty glasses on the table thus, we were not offered refills on our beverages.

Love their pizza and salads. We just tried their meatball and bacon pizza with creamy spinach sauce, which was amazing. Get a salad to spilt and it's a perfect meal weekday meal for two.

Second time to this location,, we had a gift card.. Seated right away.. Took long time to get our drinks from the bar. and long time to get our pizza.. Pizza was good. Not a fan.

This place gets super busy on weekends during dinner. The hot rolls are really good and my favorite way to order a pizza here is with mushrooms and red onions. Yum!

Love the Margherita pizza. Only problem is consistency I should not have to tell the cook to make it good every time. You also get wilted salad if you don't tell them to make sure it's fresh. Where is the manager focusing on the details and making sure the employees are putting out the best product?

Where do I begin with this review? Maybe the dirty, matted carpet or the bare, artless walls. Or maybe the tables that were covered with dirty dishes the entire time I was there. The appatizer was the spinach artichoke dip. It was more of an oily soup with mediocre flavor. My house salad was covered with so much Italian dressing that the lettuce was wilted within minutes. My entree was the roasted eggplant pomodoro with a side of spaghetti. The cheese sprinkled on top of the eggplant wasn't completely melted and the marinara sauce was bland. Finally our waitress was pleasant but not very attentive. Overall I'm not sure how this Bertucci's is still in business. I certainly will not return. One positive note, the little bread balls they serve are delicious.

The food here is good but the service is always really slow and i have had them forget parts of my order nearly each time I have gone. There is pretty much always multiple screaming toddlers here whenever I have went too. I think its part of the area where this site is located, due to it being so close to sesame place. It's the same reason why I don't really like the local red robbin either. You just can't get a quiet meal and they pack you all so close to each other. When they seat you, there could be 50 open tables and you will be stuck touching elbows with the only other family in the restaurant.

So disappointing. I did not need my expectations exceeded just met. I watched one of the hosts kick menus that had fallen to the side rather than bend to pick them up. We ordered two salads but since the waiter did not write anything down he came out with a salad that supposedly came with the dinner but did not bring the other. We asked to have the salad taken off the bill, it was not. A place that has waiters running through the dining room when it is half full has a management problem. A rushed waiter sets the tone for a rushed dinner. Not going back. It was dirty as well perhaps the mall and Sesame crowd don't care but i do. Poor recommendation by our hotel.

Food is ok, service is good. But the atmosphere is horrible. Wings need to be cooked longer. And I can't stand being so close to other patrons. This guy next to us just kept staring at us and it was creepy. Plus no military discount so I guess they don't like freedom.

I had not been to bertuccis in years, but after a recent visit I will be back. The risotto was out of this world. I'd come back for that time after time. I. Also like that they offer skinny girl mixed drinks. That was an added bonus. The pizza is recommended as well. Bread is made fresh on premisis. It comes out hot and delicious!

Not as nice inside as other Bertuccis. This one is carpeted, and as soon as we were seated I noticed that the carpet stunk. I'm not sure why any restaurants are carpeted... The service: we were greeted and seated as soon as we came in, the service was slow (it took 15 minutes to get our bread) but the waiter seemed nice. Food was very good, but we probably won't be back to this location because of the stinky carpet.

We go here maybe once every couple months. I would say we have eaten here a dozen times in the past 2 years. My kids love the bread they give when you sit down and the dough you get to play with. The food is always good, but the service is never spot on. Examples: My 12 year old orders a kids meal for 4.99( including drink) and asked for his soda in a big cup (it has free refills) and the check comes and the charge of 4.99 for the kids meal is followed by a charge of 2.99 for his drink. I ask the waitress why and she says we got an adult soda, I think she should have told us about the charge when we ordered. and whats the difference between filling a small cup 3 times or having to fill a big cup zero times. I think we are doing her a favor. she removed the charge with much hesitence. One time when just myself and one other person were having dinner our waitress and the manager stood behind me (like a foot away) saying "once these people (gestures to us) get out of here we can use their table to set up that 15 top waiting. really. I was appalled.....then I spent forever sitting and talking after we paid!

This was a great spot for a quick lunch. We split a sausage and pepper focaccia and a margarita mini pizza. Each was good. The rolls and dipping sauce as well as the salad were excellent. I'm not sure why everybody is complaining about the service. They were very attentive and helped us make our nearby appointment. While not gourmet it us certainly acceptable for a casual meal.

Just left there and it wasn't that great. Our server wasn't personable, and very slow, the food was sub par especially for the price. The food is way overpriced. They have new croutons that taste like stale bread and no more mashed potatoes. Needless to say we won't be going back.

The food and the service are inconsistent. Some days we have a great experience, and others not. The kids generally love it, and play with the dough at the table.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
