Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

If you've ever eaten Italian food in a place where there's no real Italian community, you've eaten here. Excellent service, but the sauce is that same too acidic tomato sauce, the pasta is over cooked and there's the same selection on the menu. They're also charging $14 for a plate of fettucini carbonara, which is what you'd expect to pay at a good restaurant. And this was not very good. I don't really know what the surrounding choices are like, but comparing it to your average Italian place in a strip mall in New Jersey, it's more expensive and not as good.

An Italian restaurant located in Grantville, at the intersection of routes 743 and 22. Ive been here a few times, and the food was always pretty good. On my last visit, we ordered 2 items off the chef's specials. One of the specials, penne puttanesca, was so good I've told people about it. Its BYOB - and they charge $1 per wine glass, gimme a break!

Driving through Pennsylvania on our way from Connecticut to D.C., we stopped here for lunch and were delighted with the delicious food, clean, classic Italian atmosphere, and speed of service -- even by a lone waitress who was covering the whole restaurant, which was, she said, unusually busy on a Sunday afternoon. You really can't go wrong with this place--we were just sorry we couldn't take our leftovers with us.

We spotted this place on our way back to our hotel after spending the day at Hershey and decided to stop by for dinner the next night-- and I'm so glad we did! The service was fantastic, the staff was amazingly friendly, and the food was super tasty. Great for groups (we had 5 people) and the perfect ambiance for ending our trip to PA. The bruschetta was delicious and the dipping oil for the garlic knots is perfect. Make sure you have room for dessert, though! The tirimisu and zeppole are totally worth bringing some of your dinner home with you. We will definitely be back.

Great food, authentic Italian flavors. Big portions too. Friendly staff, kid friendly too. Perfect place to go eat after a long day at Hershey (and only a little over 10 minutes away.)

We stopped here after dropping our daughter off at a concert @ Hershey Park. A bit pricey but the food was very good. I had the chicken parm and my husband had the Penne Pink vodka. The chicken was done to perfection with lots of cheese!! The sauce was delicious. Excellent service. Our waitress was top notch, very friendly and our order came out quickly. Definitely better than some high end Italian restaurants we've been too.

We are staying at a nearby hotel and I must say I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the food! !! The pizza cheese slid off of each piece as we picked it up and my son ordered a burger sub that had wilted lettuce and tasted terrible. DO NOT EAT HERE! THE HELP WASN'T HELPFUL EITHER

Adam R- We are very glad we ignored your review, and paid attention to all the good ones. Not sure what strip malls you've been to, but I've never been to an Italian restaurant this good in any strip mall. Large portions, worth the price and then some. Great sauces, I highly recommend the saltimbocca. We split a salad, and still had to take half home. You won't be disappointed. My husband is from northern Italy and was very impressed.
(5)jeff A.
The food was excellent. The portions were very big and almost everyone had a to go bag when they left. The only bad side is that it is BYOB and we didn't know this going in. Definitely will be coming back
(5)Paul N.
Atmosphere was 3 stars, service was 4 and the food was a 5. Not many dining choices in Grantville convenient to the hotels. The Lasagna Rollatini was a delicious choice after starting with the Italian Wedding Soup. The local country music station playing in the dining room just didn't seem to fit but I was enjoying my meal too much to care.

Good place to stop before heading home from Hershey Park. Tasty. Homemade sauces on pasta. Maybe a little pricy for this part of Pa. Better than a national chain off the highway. Good service. Good spot.
(4)Scott A.
Great food and lots of it! Stopped by after Hershey Park. Glad that we did. Only wish that we didn't have the kids with us and had a bottle of wine.

The Grantville area has you wondering where to find a place to eat. This small Italian restaurant was a nice surprise. Good food and friendly service

I went here with friends this passed weekend because it was right down the road form our hotel. We weren't in a rush, but we were very hungry. The server was slow but I'm pretty sure she was new (she had to look at the menu with me to know what I had ordered). The kitchen was pretty slow too. It's not a large place but there were 4 parties. The group who ordered pizza had received their food, eaten, and was half way out the door before my party received our entrees. The food was good though. I had the bolognese. The flavor was on point and the pasta wasn't overcooked although the pot had been overcrowded with noodles because some were stuck together. I also tried my friend's stromboli. The crust was delicious and the cheese was fresh. All in all good experience.
