Went here today for lunch. It's a little hole in the wall set back a bit but a 5 min drive from my new job. I ordered artery clogging chicken fingers, fried onions, a bag of chips, and a soda (skipped breakfast). Although I just started eating onion rings 2 years ago, these are the best I've had. Super crispy like I like em. The chicken fingers were real good too. All in all I spent 8.50 and struggled hard to finish the meal. On the way out I ran into my boss who was going in. He says he comes here every day. Like Danny's hamburgers this place is fresh, cheap, and made to order.

I had the western omelette plate with home fries and coffee all for $5. Perfectly cooked. I'd say looks like private property but go in the first gate bare left and try and park. We'll worth it. a/c was kicking and he seated me in perfect view of TV. Let's make a deal.

We ended up here because we were staying by the airport, needed something close by, and didn't want a chain restaurant. With that said, it's hidden away in an industrial area next to some mental facility. i would have never found this place in a million years if it weren't for yelp. Being in Philly but realizing this isn't one of "the" places to go, i still opted for the cheese steak. One bite said it all... it was deliciousness in my mouth. It really was a very good cheese steak and I was lucky enough to find it so close to the airport. I can't say i would recommend coming here unless you are in a similar situation where you're near the airport with limited options but i will say that the food is really good if you do choose to come here.

If you're here for classes or actually work at the Emergency Service Training Center, you can't beat the convenience of Sparky's. And they're actually good! (If only they were open evenings!) Go for any of their lunch specials du jour. (Cash only, last I checked.) Their menu is pretty diverse for a lunch cookery, plus everyone's friendly. There's plenty of seating indoors (if you need to escape the heat) and out. Parking's cake since they share the ESTC lot.

Before I say anything, the fact of the matter is that this place just isn't convenient for most of Delco. Heck, I've lived here for most of my 40 years and never set foot back here until today. As previous reviews have stated this place caters to the surrounding workers. But my curiosity finally got the better of me after driving past the sign I don't know how many times in my life. First impression, the place is cleaner than I thought it would be, and the people who work there are very nice. You have to appreciate that. So one bacon egg and cheese on a long roll, order of home fries, and cup of coffee later for $10.25 and I'm ready to call it pretty good. Everything was fresh and well made. Just not overly special. And I will be the first to call this out. So, if you get the platter with a bacon egg and cheese omelet with home fries and toast, it's $6.50. My meal was basically the same order with the long roll instead of toast for $8.25. I felt like the other guy had just as much as I had. Heck I think his omelet might have been bigger than what I had in my roll. I definitely had omelet envy. But I won't hold hard feelings. They're too nice to dislike, and in the end the food was just good enough. Just try to order the right combo for the price.

My father works at the Emergency Service Training Center and I did an internship on the same campus with Delco juvenile probation, Sparky's cafe is their restaurant/cafe for breakfast and lunch. They are not open past 2 or 3 since they cater to the people that work at/around the area. I like this place a lot, it has gone through a couple different owners, but both have been extremely nice and hospitable. The staff is also extremely friendly and they usually remember all their customers because it is a lot of the same people. The food is decent, I like their salads, their sandwiches and your typical grill food, among much more. They have daily specials which are usually very good. They always have fresh coffee. They have some picnic tables outside and a lot of indoor seating too. There's a shooting range next door, so don't get scared if you hear gunshots while you eat!
