I really like it here. The place is clean and the food is good. I usually get a cheeseburger with one patty and a side of fries and it's more then enough. The regular size of fries is enormous so I usually get the little size and it's perfect. Along with the food, they also have really cool fountain machines and handicap accessible iced tea machines. I like the peanuts as appetizers as well. Good place

Pretty damn good! Peanuts! (No, not the price - the prices are relative high for fast food. But while you wait they have all you can eat peanuts!) The burgers are super. Really worth it.

I can't really get behind FIve Guys. In theory I should love this place; it's got solid burgers and it's not a fast food joint (at least not really). However, I am continually disappointed, or maybe not so much disappointed as just underwhelmed. The burgers are decent, very greasy and thick, with all sorts of good toppings. (Try an 'All the Way' style burger, it's pretty good). Still, five bucks for a "small" burger? Not really worth it. The fries are also overrated. I mean for two adults and a child here costs $25, and for that price you might as well go to a true sit down restaurant. Also they play obnoxiously loud music, so you can barely hold a conversation if you eat inside. Worth a try if you're a burger afficionado, but in my opinion far better fare and ambiance can be found elsewhere.

Clean, nice and friendly and good fast food. One quick note: the fries are enough for two! Toppings are awesome!

    Decent burger. Way overpriced.

This rating is strictly in comparison to other 5 Guys Burgers and Fries I have sampled. I think this is the 5th or 6th Cinco Hombres for me, and sadly, the worst of the bunch. The shop was practically empty when mi hijo y yo arrived around 6:30 pm on a Monday night. That seemed peculiar at dinner time. Nonetheless, we ordered our burgers; son a purist wanting only beef and cheese, and dad a single, no cheese, but with sautéed onions, mushrooms, and jalapeno slices. We split an order of flies. When the brown sack arrived it had the traditional oily blotches. Unwrapping the aluminum foil packaging, I beheld a semi-crushed orphan baby of a burger, pinched and abused and looking for all the world like it required life support. Whoever birthed this child needed a slap and handcuffs. But, realizing this was only a metaphor, I ate it after lifting its lid to slide ketchup on its head. I know; I know. I should have done something. It wasn't that they tasted that different then the other sliders from this chain, but that they came to us unloved, and unkempt. Where was the care, poor child? I could not figure out if this was standard for this location, or if we had somehow violated an unwritten rule about how much to order. Perplexing. Apparently, we were not the first to confront this odd phenomenon. Looking around at all the empty tables clearly articulated that there was a problem. I had just been too slow to grasp it. Update 2.18.2014 Stopped in after a long night meet at the Crowne Plaza Hotel down Street Road. First thing I noticed was that the entire kitchen crew was made up of women. The second thing I noticed was that although they were busy on the grill, one chef shouted over to us to ask if we both wanted doubles, so she could throw them on while standing there, even before taking our official order. That was a smart and efficient move. Third thing was that the burger arrived neatly wrapped in aluminum foil, and when opened, the burger was in excellent condition. Forth thing, it tasted great with sautéed onion and jalapeno slices. If something like this happens again, I will have to reevaluate my original impressions and review. These women had it all over the male crew the first time I was here. Gentlemen; get your stuff together!

Mmmm.... greasy, delicious burgers and perfectly crisp, fresh fries. Five Guys locations never fail to deliver the most satisfying fast food burger experience you could ask for. This location has easy parking, friendly staff, and made a damn fine burger. I really appreciate the way they properly season the burger patty before they cook it. I got a bacon cheeseburger (single) with pickles, onion, and ketchup, and a regular order of fries to share with a coworker. The double burgers are massive, you're definitely going to need a nap after one of those. The burger was excellent and the fries were pretty much perfect. I wish they had more dipping sauces available for the fries besides regular ketchup and malt vinegar, but this place isn't fancy and that's sort of the point. The soda machine, however, was super fancy and it took me a second to figure it out. I like it though, futuristic fountain soda. Got a Barq's root beer and couldn't have been happier with my meal.

Simple spot with burgers and fries. All burgers are the same price no matter how many toppings you get on it or not.... (which didn't benefit me much as I just like a plain cheeseburger) but my boyfriend took advantage adding 4-5 extra toppings. Fries were gooood too! For just a little place (no atmosphere) with only/burgers and fries to offer, it was somewhat pricey though.. Two burgers, one small fry, two small drinks brought us to over $20 ... and the meal didn't stand too far above something cheaper from Wendys to me... or a local bar burger. . Worth a try, but not too quick to return based on the value..

I know this is a quick update on this new Five Guys and right now I am busier than a one armed paper hanger ( I smashed my hand in a door yesterday, don't ask ) and trying my hardest to get ready for the upcoming holiday, SOOO... I placed my order online and drove the five minutes to Five Guys and the place was packed! I curtsied up to the ordered on line machine and a friendly face quickly appeared behind it and I said I ordered online! He asked my name, I said DJ, he turned around and announced to the entire kitchen "hey guys, DJ is here"! Each and every cashier, cook and the manager who brought my food right to me, said hi DJ, welcome back to Five Guys. I love these guys ( and gals ) and felt like a movie star Piping hot food, perfectly executed, I'm a super big fan, I was In-N-Out with my grub in two minutes, while those standing in line glared at me, like who is she and wearing a Steeler's jacket... I like to keep them guessing.

I first fell in love with Five Guys when I was in the D.C. area. So enamored was I of the burgers that I asked headquarters when Philly would be graced with an outpost, and the company suggested that I buy a franchise. A big error that I did not pursue that opportunity in the early 2000s. In any case, for the price, a Five Guys burger and Boardwalk fries are peerless. Even though this is fast food, I have found that the fries really need to be consumed on site. More than about seven minutes in a car, and they go soggy (still tasty, just too limp).

This was my first time having Five Guys. I'm sure I'll be back. Not often, because it would probably kill me, but I'll be back. I went with the regular which is actually two patties. I also chose "all the way" which was everything in black on the menu for toppings. Off the top of my head, lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup, pickles, mustard, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms. Wow, this was a freakin big burger. Next time I'll go with the small (one patty) The burger was pretty good. I can say that my taste in burgers has definitely been skewed by the fancy burgers I get downtown. This is a whole 'nother category. This is like a fast food burger but with really fresh toppings. Sure they give you two, but it sits pretty damn heavy. The bun was nothing to speak of. It was a bit soggy by the time I ate it because it soaked up the stuff that was on my burger. The fries are great! When you walk in they have 50lb bag of potatoes on the right hand side and they even have a small chalkboard showing you which farm they are from. Nice touch, I like that. When you eat them, they aren't battered, just cooked properly. Crispy outside, soft inside. Everything a good fry should be. So I'll be back. I'll tone down the burger order and most likely enjoy my experience a bit more.

Simple menu. Burgers, cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburgers, hotdogs and fries both plain and cajun. Toppings to your liking from a list of about ten for the burgers. The shop is eat in or take out. Kind of reminds you of a steak sandwich only shop, except this is burgers. One more note, the regular burger is actually two. We ordered them not knowing, since this was our first visit. Small fry order fed both of us fully. We will return... good eats! Albeit fattening!

Can't go wrong with a good burger and fries. Great value for a step up from a fast food joint. Burgers are good quality meat, fries are "skin on" and are huge. Love them with vinegar!

Best burger and fries you can buy ! Always fresh and served hot, free soda, ice tea refills is a huge plus. Free salted peanuts to chow down on while waiting for your grub is also another awesome perk. Nothing like smashing away at peanut shells and listening to some cool rock music blaring in the background... I really dig it. The burgers are comparable to niftyfifties or smashburger but thats going by taste. These burgers are monsters. Their freakin huge ! Even the small is bigger than most double cheeseburgers. I enjoyed their seasoned fries (chickies and petes)but they sure can use some cheese to go with 'em... Would make them even better than chickies. No doubt.

What? I've heard the hype for quite some time and finally had a friend talk me into trying Five Guys, and honestly I can't remember when I've had a worse burger. The patty seems to have zero seasoning added to it, just tasting like nothing more than plain beef. No charcoal grilling flavor, no garlic or seasoning salt, no nothing. It was "well done" (according to the cashier, house rules), but was gelatinous in texture as well. The bun was smashed and gummy inside the foil. The fries were ok. To top it it off, the restaurant was freezing. It was a high 50's/low 60's degree overcast day, yet the inside of the restaurant was even colder than outside - why would they be running the AC on a day like this? To add insult to injury, the bill was ridiculously high. If the rest of the locations are serving up the same overpriced soggy tasteless burgers, I simply can't fathom how they keep getting rave reviews from celebrities and publications and average people. Restaurant burger prices for a burger not even up to fast food quality. To each his own, it would seem.

My favorite fries and burger. It's over-priced but totally worth it. I am grateful that this location is not in the city--I'd rather not know how many calories are in my cheeseburger & fries...

Big fan of Five Guys but it is a lot more expensive than it should be. OK, three critical things missing: 1) Burgers, Fries, but NO shakes?? Ok, so it's not on the menu (but it should be); 2) the sign that says where the potatoes are from is blank; 3) where are the bottles of malted vinegar?? Food today: Just OK. They usually do better.

  • Andrew C.

Its a small but solid menu. The burgers are absolutely the best and the fries are just as good. Not to mention fountain soda that isn't watered down and free peanuts! The only downside is they're pricy. The fries are a good deal though, considering how many they fill the cup and bag with.

This is by far my favorite burger joint. I love that they give you peanuts to snack on while you wait for your food. The burgers and fries are made fresh, and it doesn't give off that fast food kinda vibe. The bathroom is a little grimy though so I suggest you go before you leave the house.
