Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Pretty bland food. I wouldn't really call it anything like Mexican. My burrito was mostly rice and if they hadn't had a bottle of hot sauce at the table it would have been a pretty unsatisfactory meal. The food came out quickly but it was freezing inside and the guy who took our order was pretty sick. Probably won't eat here again but it wasn't terrible.

Small little place but some of the best burritos. Hold your peace it takes time for them to make a burrito but quality food does take time. They have some unique combinations, flavors and not your regular burritos. Lot of options for the veggies, do try their bollywood and bumbu's veggie burrito. Great price and friendly service, love this place.

I went here last week, and there was just something off about the food. It just did not taste right. I had a veggie burrito bowl, and it tasted more Italian than Mexican or Burrito-y. Maybe I am spoiled, being a Colorado girl, where the Mexican food is GOOD! This food was disappointing, somewhat flavorless, and just not that good. The service was also super slow; it's a burrito, not expensive French cuisine. The atmosphere is neither hip nor hipstery. I should have known, when the sign has to explain that the salsa is "tomato and onion" and you are in a burrito place, just turn around and walk away.

Love this place! The El Crunchero is my favorite burrito. I get the chicken 12 inch with the tomato basil wrap and it's perfect! I'd definitely recommend going and checking out. Sometimes the quality of the burritos vary but 95% of the time it's been awesome.

I love ready go burrito. I have never had any bad customer services experiences there...although sometimes when they are really busy the wait time might be 15-20 minutes. When in doubt order ahead! They have their menu on their facebook page. I will say that I don't like their chicken. (doesn't bother me, because I usually don't get meat anyways) It was sort of tough, not at all seasoned...it was on an order of nachos, everyone tried some and they all agreed there was something off about it. Other than that I LOVE READY GO BURRITO! I've only had the veggie burrito and the make your own but its always been good! I do feel your burrito experience is somewhat dependent on whose making it...but I've never had a bad burrito. Just good burritos...and AMAZING BURRITOS.

I am really spoiled by Freebirds World Burrito in TX but this was a good alternative for my new local area. No on can beat Freebirds but this place will definitely satisfy my burrito craving when needed.

I had high hopes for Ready Go Burrito because I love burritos. Unfortunately, this place falls flat compared to other burrito places, both with the food and the customer service. I had a horrible experience when I went there. The kid (I say kid because he had to be a Freshman in college and acted more like he was in middle school) who was supposed to make my burrito took 10-15 minutes to make my burrito alone, when there was no one else in line. He started to make the burrito and then went to the back where the kitchen is and I heard him joking around while I sat there and waited for my burrito. He might have been trying to get more meat or something, but the attitude he had was that he was in no hurry at all and satisfying his customer was the last thing from his mind. When he wandered back to the main room, he started serving another customer, while I sat there and waited for my burrito. He wandered out into the dining space and started clearing other customer's plates and chatting them up, acting like he was really cool and like he was really into himself and thought very highly of himself. He then went back to the burrito making station and went "OH!" as he finally realized that he hadn't finished my burrito even though he had passed me multiple times and tried to joke around with me. He finally finished the burrito and handed it to me. I wish that the burrito itself was at least good but it was mainly flavorless, mushy, and soggy. The rice was gooey and bland, and the steak was tough and poorly seasoned. Even if I had liked the burrito, with that kind of customer service with the guy finding himself and his pigheadedness more important than serving his customer, I would never consider going back. The fact that the burrito itself was bad just confirmed that I had no interest in returning. Don't waste your time.

This place is possibly my favorite eatery in town. Generous portions, nice prices, and most of the items on the menu are pretty good eatin'. If you've got some serious munchies, you can't go wrong with a crunchero: chicken, rice, refried beans, sour cream, salsa, and crushed tortilla chips, which balance the consistency of the burrito and keep it from being mushy (trust me, it's a work of genius). If you're trying to keep things vegetarian, I strongly recommend the black bean hummus burrito and the shroomsburg (portabella) burrito, as both are filling and tasty enough to forget about eating meat for a meal. Other points of interest: they deliver, fast and friendly service, and they're BYOB, so it's a great place to sit down and have a sixer with some grub. On a personal note, I also really dig the oddball 50's decor they got going, and the cool music I hear in there. Since Mugsy's closed and the college station has gone down the commode, this is probably the only place in town (other than your home or your Ipod) that you're going to hear some interesting/rockin' tunage. I just wish they were open on Sundays.

A fine burrito place although you should be aware of three things. First, the burritos are not particularly full like I am used to. Second, they lightly grill the burrito on two sides before serving to make it somewhat crunchy. Third,I suggest you do a "Make our own", the recipes they print in large type on the menu are truly odd combination and not what you are likely looking for if you have had the good luck to live near some real burrito places. Luckily they are willing to make a normal burrito if you use the small print.

I lived in Bloomsburg for a few months (don't ask) and while I wish this place was open at the time, after stopping there to grab something quick, I wasn't too impressed. They have very interesting options for their burritos (and they do provide nutritional facts which I wouldn't look at if you're calorie conscious), my burrito (el crunchero) took a while to make and had chicken instead of steak and white rice instead of brown. Prices were good and the portion was large. I feel as though this place was just having an off night, and if I'm ever in Bloomsburg again, I'll check it out.

If you are driving through this area and you don't want to eat Taco Bell give this place a try. Beware: it is not mexican food and it is definitely not Chipotle. It's a hippy burrito dive. The menu items are interesting and unique combinations that you might be interested to try. However, as mentioned previously, you can choose your own ingredients. I do want to disagree with another review and state these burritos are not small. They are rather large. I could not finish mine.

My last burrito was ok, 12" Cilantro. Barely any cilantro sauce and when I asked for more because it was MIA, Dude tried to charge me again. "This stuff is expensive to make" A burrito, drink, and tip almost $12. They just lost my weekly business over $.53! I think his sweat soaked dew rag is tied a little too tight today. Hey, the Peace Tea was delicious!

Ok, better half and I got cheesesteak without marinara burrito (cause that is just weird) and a make your own burrito (steak, black beans, guac, pico, sour cream, and cheese). The make your own wasn't offensive but it was edibly delicious, just not on Chipotle level. The steak was a little chewy and the flavor was a little on the plain side but overall a decent Chipotle sized burrito. The cheesesteak was a little plain too, could use more cheese smothering in my opinion but it was a good three star burrito as well. I would go back to try other things. They do have glass bottle cokes if you get excited about that. We do. I am still gonna say, EEEAT IIIIIT!

Fantastic! Lots of different salsa choices, the meats were tasty, tender and juicy. We had chicken and steak quesadilla and a make it yourself burrito bowl. Awesome. The staff is really friendly and the place is super clean. I wish we had one in Philadelphia!

The food is fresh made. It's delicious! And it's not just "Mexican" either, they have barbecue burritos and have curry. My personal favorite is called the Bollywood, with sour cream and curry.

I love this place- a total weakness of mine. However the wait drives me crazy. The salads are good too!!

I first saw mention of Ready Set Burrito in a location posting on Facebook. I thought, a whole eatery devoted to burritos? Today we stopped in Bloomsburg and were richly rewarded. I have seen many businesses occupy this space growing up in town, and this is the nicest yet. The decor is sweet, the staff is friendly, and the food is great. If you wonder what could possibly be done with a Burrito, this is the place to find out. Though not a vegetarian, I appreciated that tofu was an option alongside chicken, beef, and pork. I had the special, which was an out of this world soft taco with fried fish, avocados, tomatoes and red onions topped with chili powder, lime juice, and sour cream. It was so good I am trying to make it for dinner right now. We will be stopping again at the next chance.

Great price and good quality. Lots of veg options and a great place to chill out with a book.

This place used to be the best option in town for lunch--good wholesome and surprisingly inexpensive food coupled with a hip atmosphere. But recently it's gone through a change in ownership and the quality has taken a dive. They've gone from good quality meat in their beef options to passing reconstituted mystery meat usually seen in lower quality street carts as "steak" in their burritos. A disappointment. Like finding a used kleenex in a pocket you thought contained a $5 bill.

This place is very cool. I love the decor. RGB reminds me of the Mission District in San Francisco, with the hipster factor toned down. The people who work there are friendly and pleasant. It's always a decision whether to stick with an old favorite (the Cilantro) or to branch out. I've never been disappointed. Salads are fresh and tasty. Cheese fries are very good, and they look like potatoes, not like those weird rectangular things you get elsewhere. There are books, magazines, and newspapers available in case you want some reading material with your food.

It has almost been a year and I decided to try it out again being I have heard people say it's better than it used to be. They were correct. I feel like the quality has gone up. I genuinely enjoyed my meal here. The Burritos are different than the typical mission style burrito. I have accepted that and now love them for what they are haha. They now carry Jarrito's soda. This excited me a lot. Nothing like having a bottle of Jarrito's with a Burrito. I recommend El Crunchero.

what every growing college student needs. must be why so many of them are hanging out in front whenever i walk by... they may actually know something...this time. fresh, hefty, and cheap. good standards and interesting variations on the classics. fillings can be steak, chicken, or tofu. i was especially enamored of the bollywood.
