We had the sweet and sour pork, chicken and pork lo mein, mar far chicken and some egg rolls. Food was great and portions big enough for us three adult men that we will have it for lunch tomorrow too. We called in our order and it was fast and friendly service. For so much food total bill came to $36. I will eat there again and definitely try some of the other menu items.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received in my life I was asked to pay an extra dollar just because I wanted to split my meal with a friend!? Are you serious...i have to pay you extra just to eat here...? I asked. She said YES because of the tea and water and sitting....I left. She didn't EVEN TRY TO stop me. I wont even think about eating here ever again. NOT TO mention we were literally the only people in the entire restaurant. UNBELIEV ABLE!

Every single dish tastes the same. And the flavors aren't very good. Not BAD, but nothing tasty.

We got a simple dinner here. We got an order of Wonton Soup for me and a Hot and Sour Soup for my wife. The soup and an order of egg rolls completed our simple dinner menu. Everything was very good. The bok choy in my soup was a little bitter. The soup had plenty of wontons and they were packed full of pork. The soup broth was flavorful and ad plenty of little additions like chestnuts, sugar peas and shrimp.

We love this place! Great food, huge portions, and they always remember what we previously ordered. We go here every week!

Bad, dismissive service and even worse food in a deserted restaurant. I could have used the General Tso fried chicken like rocks in a slingshot, and the moo shu was greasy and inedible. I've worked hard to avoid restaurants like this, but every once in awhile one has to suffer a dog like this one. Such awful food in such large portions!

A good cheap Chinese restaurant in Sherwood. Each meal is enough for two. It's not the best Chinese food out there but two meals for $10 is hard to beat. Their service is quick which makes it an ideal place for take out if you don't want to eat there. Recommended for anyone wanting a casual sit-down Chinese restaurant or anyone wanting take out.

By far the best Chinese in Sherwood. Large Portions, food is always hot and service is good. Some people forget that there are different regions in China and the food can be pretty different. This is a more "American Tradional" Chinese. Crunch noodles under the chow main, fried rice without carrots and peas (Thank You) Our favorite in Lee's in Tualatin, but when I want to stay local (and quick) CP is perfect. Fast and friendly service as well.

This turned out to be one of the best places for me to go for chinese food in the sherwood area. I ordered a beef noodle dish which came with soup and hot tea. The beef was very tender and tasty and the noodles were cooked well but not mushy. I did not have a problem at all with the service and my food was out in about 10 minutes steaming hot. Everyone was nice and very helpful. The atmosphere was average, but the good food and service made up for it. They have lunch specials for $6.95. I will definitely go back again. This restaurant is in a strip mall near the safari sams restaurant in the sherwood plaza shopping center.

This is our new favorite place! Since moving to Sherwood over a year ago, we have been looking for good Chinese food. And now we have found it. Very generous portion sizes, decent prices, nice people. I don't think it is routine, but the last few times we have ordered from them, we have been given some sesame chicken on the house. Now I am hungry!

So, Sherwood isn't exactly a foodie's paradise, but my grandparents wanted to take me out to dinner, and that's an invitation I don't turn down. The service was fast and acceptable, but I don't have wonderful things about the food. I ordered the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, and what came out appeared to be a cross between lobster sauce and black bean sauce (I've never seen black beans used in lobster sauce... or lobster in black bean sauce for that matter...). It tasted fine, but wasn't quite what I was looking for. The portions are sizeable. And, well... there just isn't much notable about Chinese Panda. I generally steer clear of places with big "Oregon Lottery" signs lit in the window, but if someone else is paying... If you have the time, I'd recommend driving out aways. Szechuan Kitchen in Lake Oswego is the same price range and much better... even P.F. Changs at Bridgeport I'd recommend over this.

Service was good, but the atmosphere is outdated and "cold" the food was not as good as I had hopped but they do give you very large portions. I won't go back unless someone begs me.

This is Sherwood's best Chinese food lunch value. Their $5.95 for a fast and generous portion can't be beat. Old school American style Chinese food is a lost artform. Deep fried egg rolls and good Hot & Sour Soup. If you like old school American Chinese, look no further.

The food is plentiful and way better than the fast food/big chain asian places. I would like to ask yelp why they filtered the good reviews???????? WTF? They do not look like scam reviews just honest opinions. Shame on yelp!

Love the food here! The #2 and # 8 are especially good. The restaurant is in Sherwood. No restaurant in Sherwood has atmosphere of any kind. It is well lit and quiet, clean with fast service, polite servers and there is plenty of seating. If I want atmosphere I will head to Portland and great big noisy restaurant with tons of servers and food flippin through the air.

There are rules for a reason. "Never eat at a Chinese restaurant with 'Panda' in the name" is a rule for a reason. "Don't go to the Chinese restaurant just because it is next to the laundromat" should probably also be a rule, but I digress. Anyway - My wife said her broccoli chicken wasn't bad, otherwise I would have given it one star. The service wasn't great, and most things seemed overly fried - they even serve fried rice instead of white or brown rice as the standard. The atmosphere also left a lot to be desired. I'm generally okay with the boringness of it all, but the lighted sign above my head that has a bird chirping noise was a particularly nice touch. If the sign had a bird in it, it would have at least made more sense. Oh - if you believe that quantity has a quality all its own, then you might be okay with this. Giant portions. I think our bill for two huge plates of food, soup and couple RCs was under $16. A meal includes tea, soup, the main course, two fried won-tons (drowned in sauce), an egg roll and the aforementioned fried rice. If you're looking for Chinese food in Sherwood, I recommend House of Good Fortune instead (see - no Panda in the name).

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
