Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Really great toppings. Friendly staff. The reason I am not giving four stars-- update the decor.

Love mendis pizza! The pizza is a bit over priced and you have to pay extra for silly things like ranch or pineapple on the side. But the pizza is pretty good, no complaints about service and they have a drive up window which is nice when picking up!

Good regular pizza. Very good gluten free crust also offered. High priced though and the place could use some updated cleaning and love.

If you are in the mood for over priced pizza at a dingy, smelly establishment then look no further! Not only is costermer service a low priority but you can expect to have to ask for everything from sweetner packets to trying to get your kid's money back from the video games that take money and give nothing. Not only did I inform them the machine took my kid's money they actually argued with me about it and refused to make it right. All they did was tape a "not working" sign on it. Food and dirty dishes were on the table when we arrived for a birthday party and remained there for the entire hour and a half. Really, you can get better pizza and enjoy a better atmosphere at Papa Murphys' in Monmouth! Don't waste your time or money here.

The pizza has changed, I had a slice for the first time in a cpl years and it was so-so sadly.

Good pizza, not great but similar to other pizza I've had in Oregon. I can't really tell the difference between Wallery's, Abby's,Ugo's, Mendi's and the others I've tried. The side salad was a good size and tasty. The decor is very old fashioned, but I don't mind that really. I tried to buy a side of ranch for my pizza after I paid because I forgot, they charge for ranch, and the guy just gave me one and said not to tell. That was super nice and I appreciate little things like that. I like that you get your own plate and foil if you need to take it to go. I'm self sufficient. There was a large crowd of kids that had won a little league game and that made the noise with the tv unbearable. Not the restaurant' fault though. I would buy this pizza again, but I don't crave it. In fact I would be just as happy with pizza hut.

The restaurant is okay, but I usually order take out or have it delivered. Yum, yum. The Mustang is good, a little spicy, if they spiced it up, or made a whole new pizza that was super hot and spicy I would add a star!

Yum, much better than most! My friends and I took home a Mendi's pie to cap off an afternoon of wine tasting. Open your own bottle of Pinot noir and enjoy.

This place brought back a lot of college memories. I didn't go to school in the area, but every college town has to have at least one pizza parlor. So I'm sure this place is busy when Western Oregon University is in session. Visiting on a holiday weekend, however, we had the place pretty much to ourselves. I have to admit that I sort of enjoyed the Western atmosphere. Not authentic Western, more of a 70s interpretation of the old West. They have faux saloon doors at the entrance and the theme continues a bit on the inside. The restaurant also has four video games and the space is dominated by a large stove in the center of the room. Even though it is a decent sized pizza place, it is definitely set up for you to take your pizza to go. There is a drive thru window and a table set up with items to package your pizza or leftovers. The pizzas were both overdone and underdone. We ordered a BBQ Chicken pizza and Cheese and Pepperoni. Both pies were undercooked and the cheese was not fully melted. The BBQ chicken doesn't have marinated chicken, but instead the sauce is generously spread all over the top. The effect was over sweet. So the pizza was OK if you go in expecting just a basic pie. There is no subtlety here. Service was fine and they gave us the remote control so we could choose whatever we wanted to watch on the large flatscreen TV. There is a second room with more natural light, that would be a good choice for parties or private functions. In an area with more competition, this would be a two. But, having driven through Monmouth and Independence, there isn't much local competition, especially on a Sunday.

Excellent pizza! High prices for pizza though! Is love to eat here more often, although I can't pay for pizza at this price very often. It's more like a treat. But again, fantastic pizza!

Favorite place to get pizza, hands down! Their tater babies are fantastic and the ranch is a must if you want that extra flavor, it is so good. You really cannot find pizza like this anywhere else, unique crust, just the right amount of sauce, delicious toppings and very good price, you may come close but there is nothing quite as great as Mendi's.

I usually get it delivered. The drive (who I assume is the owner) NEVER remembers the parmesan cheese and red peppers. The price has gone up and the quality has gone down. The bread sticks aren't what they used to be. It would also be nice if they would turn their outside sign on at night. I understand trying to conserve electricity, but I have the inkling that's not the reason they keep it off.

I grew up in Monmouth and this is the place I go to when I come home. Walk in the door and the place hasn't changed in atleast a decade. Feels like home!
