Country Donut has more than just donuts, homemade pies, & coffee. They also serve a good lunch & it's made fresh to order. Cheeseburger with fries ($5.95) took about 10 min & it was exactly what we needed to continue our journey south. The burger add ons are complimentary & I made the mistake of not adding grilled onions & mushrooms to mine. Don't make the same mistake as me. There was enough fries to share but they were a tad greasy & under seasoned but at the same time they were okay. The donuts & slices of pie looked so good but we were too full from the large burgers to even order a slice to go. Next time for sure though. The diner reminds me so much of that small town cafe where everybody knows everybody & everybody is happy. The gals behind the counter were great. One of them even noticed she overcharged us & brought the extra change back. Honest, friendly, & helpful service is exactly what we like. Definitely stop by here whether it's for a quick bite or a sit down meal. The service & food makes the experience at Country Donut more special.

I stop by for their biscuits & gravy on nearly every trip to Oregon. Large portions, fair prices, and super friendly family running the shop.

My fiance and I stopped here on our drive from Portland to San Jose, CA for a late breakfast, based on other Yelp reviews. We ordered biscuits and gravy, which were suuppper yummy, really tasty and decadent! We also got a maple bar which was delightful and light, despite it being a donut, and a devils food cake chocolate covered donut, which was also fantastic! For those items and a coffee and a tea, it was less than 10 bucks!! A bargain for really good food. The lady mentioned also that they would be starting to serve a full breakfast in a couple of weeks! We'll be passing through that area of Oregon periodically and I'm sure we'll go back!

If you stop here, you can't leave without an apple friiter. So decadent. Moist interior and sweet crunchy exterior, chunks of real apple throughout the entire batter. Excellent coffee. Quick and friendly service. We stopped here when we were checking out the town and fell in love. Very efficient and friendly service. Cozy little setting and the smell nearly picks you off your feet. So glad this place is down the road.

Maybe I'm the odd ball here. I see all the high star ratings so maybe I just had a bad day. We ordered a cinnamon roll, butter horn and 2 snicker doodle cookies. Butte thorn was ok, cinnamon roll was hard and greasy, and snicker doodle was not very sweet and was greasy also. Ugh. They get an "A" for presentation but the product just didn't quite meet expectations. They do have a wide menu options with entrees and pizza, maybe those items are better. We arrives at 12:30 pm, not late in the day.
