Love the pizza here! Great dough a a huge choice of fun pizzas. Was reading some of the reviews comparing there pizza to the Bronx or Chicago and all I can say is, "go back where you came from if it is so much better!"

place is ok but the pizza is hardly a step up from little Caeser's

Let me start by saying that I've loved GAPCO since I was in high school 15 years ago. Their pizza, sandwiches, salad bar, dough-knots, and hybrid wings (hot and BBQ sauce mixed) are great! Now that I have kids, including a sometimes whiny toddler, I usually get my food to go instead of enjoying the great waitstaff and a cold beer. At this point you might be wondering why I'd give them only 4 stars. It's because of the blonde female cook. The last two times I've been in, I've ordered my to-go food from a really nice, helpful counter person and then watched this cook read my ticket and start complaining about it. The first time in question the counter person tried to quietly explain that a lot of people had been ordering sandwiches and that's why the cook was throwing a fit 7 feet away from me. This most recent time, I was the only customer there and I still had to listen to her complaints over making my extremely easy order, although this time she wasn't slamming things and cussing, so maybe she's had a small period of growth. I don't know if this woman is an owner or just a cook with a chef's nasty attitude, but if she's a necessary evil, someone should build a better partition between her attitude and the public.

Interesting combos to choose from, friendly service, and good beer. The doughknots were a great appetizer to quell our hunger before the pizza arrived.

This is the best pizza I have ever had! I LOVE the wheat crust and all the fresh ingredients. Wish they were cheaper. We often spend $30 there on pizza and dough knots for our family of 4 (2 little kids and 2 adults). That's hard to budget for pizza. But it is SO good!

Great friendly staff, and wonderful food! The dough knots are a great appetizer, and their ranch dressing is absolutely amazing for dipping! For a simple pizza the new york pizza pie is great and just a step above regular old cheese if that's what you are looking for. If you are in Ashland (or the Medford Jacksonville area for that matter), this is the place to get pizza!

4 stars only because giseppis gets the 5 star worthiness. even better than the pizza here is the doughknots. incredible.

Best burger in town. Some of the best fries with ranch ive ever had. Plus you can oder garlic and bacon on your fries ;). Their buns are house made and are thr perfect size for the hand made patties. Well worth the price!!! I have never had pizza here but I'm sure it is am amazing as well.

This place has not changed since we lived in Ashland 15 yrs ago. It's still amazing! The pizza crust (we like the sourdough) is crispy and delicious, their famous dough-knots are not to be missed and they even have five brews on tap. It's a quick walk for us from home, so this will be sure to become a favorite haunt for our family.

Some friends recommended this place, and it was really great. Casual, laid back atmosphere. Service was fun and friendly, pizza was delicious. My wife and I mentioned that it was our honeymoon and we were given dough knots on the house! Planning to go back.

The service was nice. Pizza was mediocre. What really annoyed me though was their refusal to make a thin crust. Really? It's pretty standard in the business.

Starving. Absolutely ravenous. And while it is true that almost anything tastes like heaven when you miss a couple of meals -- we got two slices of a simple cheese pizza that will live in my memory for a long time. The crust was thin, crunchy, and full of savory flavor. There was enough sauce that it squeeched out the edges when I bit into my slice. Do you know how rare that is? If you're a sauce hound like I am -- you do. And it was excellent, thick, tomato-y sauce with lots of herbs and bits of cheese. And the cheese -- perfect to balance with the crust and sauce. Not too thick, so no globby blobs and not thin -- so all the real estate of the crust was covered. Baked to a golden edged perfection perfection perfection. Not too much garlic. Not too much oregano. Not too much anything. Just the right amount of everything! I always judge a pizza place by their plainest offering -- usually thin crust cheese. And the Great American Pizza Company was right on the mark. Yum. YUM!

Excellent! The BB McLaughlin pizza on sourdough was awesome, the fresh garlic came through nicely. Great service. Will definitely be my go to pizza place in Ashland.

Love the people that work here! Order dough-knots, pizza, and a few pitchers of beer to enjoy on the patio. You won't regret it.

Amazing customer service and delicious pizza. This was our second time through Ashland and this was our favorite from last time. Pizza was ready quickly and waitress was helpful with choosing a good one!

Delicious dough knots and sourdough crust pizza!! Nice fresh salad bar selections too. Pretty reasonable prices to feed my family of 5. Friendly quick service--Glad we found this place

Meh. The pizza is OK, but I wish I'd gone to the superior Martolli's instead. The crust is too soft for my taste, and the pizza seemed undercooked, I put it back into the oven after I got home to try to give it some crispiness, but it was still doughy. And the mushrooms tasted like they came from a can. It's not a bad pizza -- it's just not as good as everyone is raving about.

Thinking of ordering a yummy pie from Great American Pizza? Think again. I called to place an order, but the order-taker apparently decided I was taking too long and actually hung up on me! While it's true, I was taking a long time, hanging up on a customer seemed a little extreme. Then when I called back, she was so snotty I just couldn't bring myself to complete the order. Fortunately, there are many pizza places in town. Apparently, Great American just doesn't need customers...

After several months, we returned to GAPCO for lunch. We split a Canadian Bacon & Red Onion Pizza on whole wheat crust. The rather sweet tomato paste that was generously spread on the crust overwhelmed the taste of the other ingredients. I remembered better tasting pizzas from before. The waitress was very friendly and promptly refilled our glasses of tea. This well-established business located near the Southern Oregon University campus and the new dorms, is a very popular restaurant that features pizzas and sandwiches.

Amazing customer service! I have always had great service, great ambiance, great food every time I come to gapco! I enjoy a lot of the pizza joints here in town, but if I have to pick one, it would definitely be Gapco! Sourdough crust is the bomb and so are the doughnots. Outdoor seating in summer is great!

So, what's your priority...friends or food? I tend to choose friends first. Case in point, I'm not a pizza fan, but some of our soccer friends wanted to go to GAP Co. It's an easy way to feed my Kiwi, too, since I know she'll be happy with pepperoni. This quaint place had some nice character to its atmosphere. The food was pretty good, and the dough-knots are a must have if you're going to try them out even once. If you are a garlic fan, you simply can not miss out on these treats, even if they are all bread and you want to cut back on your carbs. The service was friendly, though I thought they had a strange policy about not giving you an extra plate (for sharing) if your pizza already came on a plate. Just something good to know for future reference. I was able to get my pizza half Naymik's Delight (sans mushrooms) and Sizzler (think meat!) since I was undecided. Both sides were flavorful without being too much as the pizza was thin crust, which is my personal preference. If I were in the area, I would consider coming back again...especially with great friends.

I'm sad to type this review. GapCo has always been a hometown staple for me. I'd go there with friends every lunch period that I could afford a giant, lovely slice. Yet, years later, the slice I received was basically amazing pizza sauce (seriously-- so good) with wonderful veggies, no cheese (because they're super accommodating)--- but all on a hard-as-rock chunk of whole wheat crust. SO disappointing! My friend's slices were the same. What's up with that, GapCo? That's not your style! I used to be able to fold up that goodness! Tonight it was like a giant pita chip. Oh well. I won't give up hope, but I definitely saw a side of the place that was rather sub-par. Still have mad love... For now.

As frequent visitors to Ashland we are often in need of quality food that can be delivered quickly and hot to any location - hotel room, parks, even the bricks at the Shakespeare Festival during a performance. Great American Pizza offers all of this. The pizza is among the best we have ever had - anywhere. The delivery service is astonishing. If they say 30 minutes they mean 30 minutes, or less! Enter their number in your favorites list on your smartphone.

I've been ordering GAPCO since Bud and Maureen first opened (where Wiley's World Pasta is currently located) in the early 90's. Hundreds of pies, and a few extra pounds on my waistline later, I can't say I've ever had anything less than excellent food and service. The sourdough crust is all we ever get. It's crispy, chewy, and kind of buttery--- I've tried to copy it at home many times and have never gotten it as good as they make it. The red sauce is nice and tangy, not ketchupy sweet like a lot of other places. Toppings are always fresh and perfectly proportioned. Lately I've been partial to The Italian, The Mediterranean, and the Chicken Florentine. The BBQ Chicken is good also. The Dough-Nots are garlicky and addicting, and the salad bar is excellent. The staff is always friendly, professional, and eager for you to have a good time. It's obvious they take pride in what they do. Whether you dine-in, pick up, or get delivery, your pizza is always hot and perfectly cooked. Sure, you might pay a little more than some other places, but the quality warrants. GAPCO isn't just a pizza place, it's a part of Ashland's culture.

Orderd the Works Pizza. The crust was great, but this had to be one of the worst pizza I have every had. Granted I come from Chicago and I expect good pizza, but there was an aftertaste that would not go away. I wanted so much to like their pizza, but could not. The delivery was quick...oh well I'll try somewhere else.

Fresh crunchy crust. We got the vegetable pizza it was delicious. Came into dinner at 5:30 pm and it was crowded at six. Really cute with a home feel. Loved it! Pizza was served in 10 minutes! Waitress Cara greeted us and made us feel welcomed. Great service.

Impressive pizza and calzones. Stopped here right after getting into town and went back again before we left. The pizza was excellent and the calzones great! Whatever they do to the marinara sauce really works and the sourdough crust is a must! The staff was friendly and clearly many of the customers were regulars. A great little pizza joint with prices about standard for the market these days. Definitely worth a try and likely to become a regular stop anytime you're in town. I know it is for us!

This place is so good! We sat outside with our dog, enjoying the afternoon sun! Basic but yummy salad bar and amazing pizza! One thing I've noticed traveling the last few yrs is OR and WA don't make ranch like we do in CA, but this gem makes all their dressings and they are great!

Love being back in Ashland. This is one of the reasons why. Friendly and fast service. And good friggin pizza. What more can you want? Better try the dough-knots or your losing out! Everything made fresh. My Favorite topping is the Carnivore. Ranch is $ Free.99 (at least it is when you come in with a smile)

Very tasty pizza! Not as marvolous as Martoli's downtown, but the best pizza place in southern Ashland. Perfect for the university dorms across the street.

This place was a treat to find after eating for several days near the theater and spending a lot of money on mediocre food (e.g. Thai Peppers). Found this unpretentious place near SOU. Good pizza, fair prices, ok salad and a nice server (SOU student from SF Bay Area). Nothing fancy at all, but a welcome change.

WAHHHHH. I hated living in Oregon. I hated the non-stop rain. I hated snow. I hated the fact I got made fun of when I used a umbrella. But, I loved, loved, loved Great American Pizza Company or as I called it GAPCO. I've had the best pizza of my life seated in those ripped up fake leather booths. Mmm the chicken mustard pizza? So yum. And those dough-knots could perhaps even make one of the London Guards smile. The waitresses here were always so nice and considerate. The prices aren't as cheap as other places, but so worth it. I really miss GAPCO, next time I'm in Ashland that's my first stop!

My husband and I moved to Ashland two years ago and were thrilled with the fact that there were local pizza options here instead of just Dominos and Pizza Hut, etc.. We eagerly tried all local joints and GAPCO is by far the BEST!! All their toppings are fresh and delicious, and their crusts are crisped to perfection. Whenever we have guests in town, we make sure to drop by for a pizza and beer and for the great, boisterous atmosphere, and we love the after 9PM specials and order delivery pretty regularly :) LOVE!

Very good pizza, lots of interesting topping options - we had the roasted eggplant and ricotta one and Naymik's Delight on the sourdough crust. One slice is more than enough and the best bargain, and we split the Mediterranean salad, and it was more than enough for us. They have very yummy and probably addictive dough knots too: we didn't order them, but the wait person brought some to our table saying they had made too many and so they brought them to us, all fresh and topped with shaved Parmesan cheese. Not fancy by any stretch, they have happy hour with cheap beers, but their wine list is abysmal. They do brew their own iced tea with a faint hint of cinnamon, and their Arnold Palmers are very refreshing and delicious. Seems to be a local fave - staff greeted people as if they recognized them, and one person offered us insights into the local restaurants for our next day's dining - suggesting places off the beaten track that visitors might not find. Our waiter was excellent - just the right mix of attention without getting too involved, helpful and honest suggestions, friendly, and prompt. A pleasant 30 minute walk from the plays, and conveniently located next to the Timbers motel.

Visiting and will be moving to Ashland by the end of the year. We loved the Hawaiian pizza sans the almonds and added bacon. The sourdough crust is amazing. This will be our goto pizza place.

Great American has long been a staple of Ashland cuisine. If I'm not mistaken the original owners Bud and Maureen opened about 22 years ago. Once they sold it to their long time employees it actually got better (if that was even possible). Love their sourdough crust and fresh ingredients. Mmmmm

A friend who lives in Talent - said if you want a special treat - go to Great American Pizza Company - so on Friday nite - July 5th we took her up on this recommendation - and WOW - from the patio to indoor seating to the staff to the salad bar - to the PIZZA - tops tops tops! I wasn't really thinking pizza while on vacation - you want to try new things. Well so glad we did. It was a hop and skip (very short drive from our motel) and we ordered two 10inch pizzas (for one adult and one child) we should have done smaller - but my son was happy to have pizza for breakfast. First you can order either whole wheat or sour dough crust - my Snappy Garden was on whole wheat and my son's Upper Rogue was on sour dough. I ordered a local beer while we waited - wish I remembered what it was cause it was a very good beer. They were so patient waiting for us to decide what to order - and kept our pizza warm while I sat and enjoyed my beer. we took the pizzas to go. If you find yourself in Ashland and take a break from all those other great restaurants that good but pricey - take a wander over to GAPCO - you wont regret it!! Will return when we find ourselves back in Ashland and try another pizza - and eat in this time - and find out what the name of that beer was cause I'd recommend that too.

Yes!! Best pizza in town. STELLAR service. Huge pile of dough-nots for 5$!? I love GAPCO. Highly recommended. The pizza is fresh, and perfect crust. Don't bother looking elsewhere!! Salad bar too :)

Great service, great pizza, kind of a dive though... but who cares. I like it here. Good menu choices and good prices... too bad it is in Ashland and you have to pay the Ashland tax man for food.

Really 4.5 stars! This is the first time of us staying in Ashland on our way up to the in-laws in the Portland area when we actually stopped in for REAL dinner (read=not Taco Bell)! The chatty person I am, chatted up our waiter (and one of the 4 owners). The place has been in business for about 20 years and moved to this location a few years ago. The restaurant has a few booths and a bunch of tables. There is outdoor seating as well, just not during the winter. Pizza and sandwiches are offered as well as a simple salad bar and some appetizers. Pizza can be ordered on either a sourdough or wheat crust and there is a plethora of choices they have come up with or you can build your own. Some pizza topping choices are quite unique as I have never seen "almonds" as a pizza topping choice. I had a small salad from the salad bar. Small bowl was $4.25 and the perfect size for me. Husband wanted to try the "dough-knots" as an appetizer. Small balls of dough baked and then covered with garlic butter and parmesan cheese. These were tasty albeit very buttery. They were served with ranch dressing but daughter thought if they came with marinara or pizza sauce, they would be perfect. Husband and daughter opted to share a pizza-1/2 "Upper Rogue"-(pepperoni, olives, 3 cheese blend and sausage) and 1/2 "New York Tomato Pie (daughter's choice even though she claims she hates tomatoes, this was her choice). This was simply, roasted garlic, 3 cheese blend and sliced fresh tomato on top. Both husband and daughter really liked the pizza and both each liked their half better (though daughter did not eat the tomato slices on top of hers). Great place for a meal and not terribly expensive. This is a place we will coming to again and again. So long Taco Bell!

Probably the best pizza place in Ashland. The dough-knots are amazing and must be tried, especially if you're a garlic fan. (Stay clear if you're not.) All of the pizzas seem good, but I'd specifically recommend the Mediterranean. They lose a star for inconsistent service. Then again, what do you expect from a pizza place in a college town? Can't stop those kids from getting high in the walk-in, man. Sometimes the service is great, other times everyone there is totally baked. It's not always bad; it just makes it slow sometimes. I don't particularly mind it but I bet tourists aren't amused. I might be wrong, but I think the ranch (a requisite side for the dough-knots) is made in-house or something since it's really amazing.

Ashland is adorable. A staple place we stop at on road trips to and from SF to Portland. Friendliest people to serve pizza (but everyone seems like a angel of politeness once you cross the border into OR...they're like a different breed of folk). The pizza wil not disappoint. It's no Little Star or Delfina but the prices are nice on the wallet and it'll definitely hit the spot. Whole pices, by the slice, other options available for non-pizza lovers. Wash your dish of choice down with some delicious Oregon brews and you'll be one happy camper.

Coming over grants pass snow and fog hit like a brick. Finding a room to get warm dry and reorganize, Jeff pointed this place out to get "the best pizza in oregon. I'm game and it shares the parking lot. I was met warmly and promptly. Jeff suggested the mexican pizza So i got a slice. Cold and wet i was met with.heat and flavor. Two of my best friends. Quiet but not that pride finger in the air crap. Just nice and sane. Something i needed after almost facing god on the mountain. Come by. The people are good.

Being from Chicago, I'm a bit stingy on my pizza. This place is seriously totally average. It's always a red flag whenever any pizza place only offers 1 type of pizza (i.e. no thin, deep or pan crust options). So, I tried both the sourdough and the whole wheat crusts and couldn't tell the difference between either- both were rock hard, when pizza crust should be crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The sauce was unremarkable and unmemorable. I will say the pepperoni was very nice- had some spicy kick to it. I also ordered tomatoes for a topping and was shocked to find they just threw raw tomato slices atop the cooked pizza! Who does that?! Why weren't the tomato slices cooked with the rest of the pizza? So bizarre. So, I'm still on a hunt for decent pizza in Ashland. This place will do in a crunch, but it's comparable to a Pizza Hut IMO. Also, I got hot wings- they were not spicy whatsoever... again, totally average. Oh, but the Dough Knots were pretty damn tasty- I'd order those instead of anything else

First, the good: the waitress was super friendly and very attentive. The place has efficiency and good humor down to a fine art. We never had to ask for anything or bother her for refills--she was on it before we could open our mouths. She deserves a four star, but the food just brought the rating down Quite simply, not the best pizza. The toppings are ok--not greasy--but the crust is flat, tasteless, and more like cardboard than food. I only finished one slice and then gave up. I won't be going back...

Great family-friendly atmosphere and the pizza is delicious as well! Came here about 6 years ago with my family while visiting my great-aunt and uncle in Ashland.

4 stars only because giseppis gets the 5 star worthiness. even better than the pizza here is the doughknots. incredible.

We were in town for my daughter's orientation at SOU. Stopped the Great America Pizza Company to get a pizza to take back to our hotel. The owner was very friendly. He recommended the black olive and rocotta pizza. It was delicious. Can't wait to come back!

They have the best selection when it comes to toppings as well as the option for wheat or sour dough crust. The salad bar is great and the service is usually pleasant. I always recommend this place for anyone looking for pizza in Ashland.

GAPCO turns out some delish pizzas! And don't forget the dough knots. Yum!

We really love their pizza's and their hot wings. We have them delivered and they arrive quickly fresh and hot.

You can't go here and not get the dough-knots. Also- their whole wheat crust is the best you can find. It's our favorite!

Yum. YUM!

Just got a gluten free pizza. Don't bother. Really not a good pizza. Head to kaleidoscope in Medford. Worth the drive, not a disappointment like Great American.

Awesome sourdough pizza, great beer. The Mediterranean variety with artichokes, feta etc. was delicious. Loved the outdoor seating and nice blue benches on a warm night. Adults loved it, kids loved it. Definitely a place for a repeat visit!

Wow. This is some of the best pizza I haveHad in a long time. Great crust, very tasty toppings, and fresh sauce. This is my new go to pizza place when I'm visiting Ashland.

Great service, delicious pizza. I from New York so you know I am picky about my pizza, this place comes very close, very close indeed.

Great pizza. Love the crust.

Just got a gluten free pizza. Don't bother. Really not a good pizza. Head to kaleidoscope in Medford. Worth the drive, not a disappointment like Great American.

Great American has long been a staple of Ashland cuisine. If I'm not mistaken the original owners Bud and Maureen opened about 22 years ago. Once they sold it to their long time employees it actually got better (if that was even possible). Love their sourdough crust and fresh ingredients. Mmmmm

Awesome sourdough pizza, great beer. The Mediterranean variety with artichokes, feta etc. was delicious. Loved the outdoor seating and nice blue benches on a warm night. Adults loved it, kids loved it. Definitely a place for a repeat visit!

Yummy pizza! Make sure you have the dough knots! Dog friendly outdoor deck. Awesome sourdough crust and many choices for sauces and toppings. Too bad we live 500 miles away or we would be back weekly!

This is the BEST pizza in Ashland or Medford . I have tried them all but this is the best, everything about it is AWESOME!!!!! You cannot go wrong here with anything, Everything i tried was fantastic, I go here at least once a week.

The service was nice. Pizza was mediocre. What really annoyed me though was their refusal to make a thin crust. Really? It's pretty standard in the business.

(4)
Spencer D.

Now if only they had soy cheese available....whatever, if I ever eat here again I'll sacrifice my non-dairy streak; it's not the end of the world ;)

Sourdough pizza with a wide variety of toppings to choose from. At lunch time, you can get a slice with custom toppings. Only place I've ever seen mandarin oranges available on pizza (and they're tasty).

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Yum. YUM!
(5)Rand B.
Excellent! The BB McLaughlin pizza on sourdough was awesome, the fresh garlic came through nicely. Great service. Will definitely be my go to pizza place in Ashland.
(4)Colin M.
Love the people that work here! Order dough-knots, pizza, and a few pitchers of beer to enjoy on the patio. You won't regret it.
(5)Monique M.
Amazing customer service and delicious pizza. This was our second time through Ashland and this was our favorite from last time. Pizza was ready quickly and waitress was helpful with choosing a good one!
(5)Jen M.
Delicious dough knots and sourdough crust pizza!! Nice fresh salad bar selections too. Pretty reasonable prices to feed my family of 5. Friendly quick service--Glad we found this place
(5)Lemonleen C.
(3)Todd R.
(1)R M.
(2)Stephanie K.
(5)Ly S.
(4)Christy C.

(5)Weston B.
Awesome pizza in my opinion and I grew up in Chicago. Nice atmosphere and great beers!
(5)Sergio G.
We really love their pizza's and their hot wings. We have them delivered and they arrive quickly fresh and hot.
(5)Krystle B.
You can't go here and not get the dough-knots. Also- their whole wheat crust is the best you can find. It's our favorite!
(5)Tom C.
(5)Steven P.
(2)Stacy D.
(4)Jessica W.
(5)Jessica L.
This place is so good! We sat outside with our dog, enjoying the afternoon sun! Basic but yummy salad bar and amazing pizza! One thing I've noticed traveling the last few yrs is OR and WA don't make ranch like we do in CA, but this gem makes all their dressings and they are great!
(4)Kathryn B.
These guys are great! I unfortunately do not live here, but Ashland is a good midpoint between Portland and San Francisco. Whenever I'm in Ashland I order pizza from these guys. Hand made, fast and delicious!
(5)Kathryn J.

(4)Puppy F.
Very tasty pizza! Not as marvolous as Martoli's downtown, but the best pizza place in southern Ashland. Perfect for the university dorms across the street.
(4)Debbie W.

Great pizza. Love the crust.
(5)Nancy D.

Just got a gluten free pizza. Don't bother. Really not a good pizza. Head to kaleidoscope in Medford. Worth the drive, not a disappointment like Great American.
(1)Brent M.

(5)Zachary P.
Yes!! Best pizza in town. STELLAR service. Huge pile of dough-nots for 5$!? I love GAPCO. Highly recommended. The pizza is fresh, and perfect crust. Don't bother looking elsewhere!! Salad bar too :)
(5)Paul S.
Great service, great pizza, kind of a dive though... but who cares. I like it here. Good menu choices and good prices... too bad it is in Ashland and you have to pay the Ashland tax man for food.
(4)Tam F.
(4)Jonah K.
(4)A J.
Will do in a pinch.
(2)Lyle H.
I don't know what they are selling here, but I grew up in the Bronx and this ain't pizza!
(1)Daniel I.
Good pizza, Love the thin crust and there cheese. There half and half ice tea is not so great but other than that good place to eat.
(4)Gary W.
This is the BEST pizza in Ashland or Medford . I have tried them all but this is the best, everything about it is AWESOME!!!!! You cannot go wrong here with anything, Everything i tried was fantastic, I go here at least once a week.
(5)Jasmyn M.

(5)Susie W.

(4)Russell R.
Great place good size portions excellent value pizza with fresh toppings I would recommend if ever in Ashland
(5)M S.
(2)B B.
We were in town for my daughter's orientation at SOU. Stopped the Great America Pizza Company to get a pizza to take back to our hotel. The owner was very friendly. He recommended the black olive and rocotta pizza. It was delicious. Can't wait to come back!
(5)The C.
They have the best selection when it comes to toppings as well as the option for wheat or sour dough crust. The salad bar is great and the service is usually pleasant. I always recommend this place for anyone looking for pizza in Ashland.
(5)Kathleen A.
GAPCO turns out some delish pizzas! And don't forget the dough knots. Yum!

(2)Dana B.
Great family-friendly atmosphere and the pizza is delicious as well! Came here about 6 years ago with my family while visiting my great-aunt and uncle in Ashland. Now if only they had soy cheese available....whatever, if I ever eat here again I'll sacrifice my non-dairy streak; it's not the end of the world ;)
(4)Reid B.
Sourdough pizza with a wide variety of toppings to choose from. At lunch time, you can get a slice with custom toppings. Only place I've ever seen mandarin oranges available on pizza (and they're tasty).
(4)Wendy K.
Love this place! Love the salad bar, love the pizza, LOVE the doughknots. YUM!
(5)Nix M.

(4)Marissa S.
Interesting combos to choose from, friendly service, and good beer. The doughknots were a great appetizer to quell our hunger before the pizza arrived.
(4)Crystal G.
(4)Spencer D.
(5)Evan M.
4 stars only because giseppis gets the 5 star worthiness. even better than the pizza here is the doughknots. incredible.

(4)Christy C.

(5)Sergio G.
We really love their pizza's and their hot wings. We have them delivered and they arrive quickly fresh and hot.
(5)Krystle B.
You can't go here and not get the dough-knots. Also- their whole wheat crust is the best you can find. It's our favorite!
(5)Jessica W.
(4)Lynn W.
Yum. YUM!
(5)Rand B.
(5)Travis F.

Some friends recommended this place, and it was really great. Casual, laid back atmosphere. Service was fun and friendly, pizza was delicious. My wife and I mentioned that it was our honeymoon and we were given dough knots on the house! Planning to go back.
(4)Rose W.
The service was nice. Pizza was mediocre. What really annoyed me though was their refusal to make a thin crust. Really? It's pretty standard in the business.
(2)Stephanie K.

(5)Lemonleen C.
(3)Monique M.

(5)Steven P.
(2)Stacy D.
(4)Zachary P.

Awesome pizza in my opinion and I grew up in Chicago. Nice atmosphere and great beers!

(2)Alison B.
The best pizza I've ever had! Also "over the top" excellent service! I can't say enough good things. I love their salad bar too! Super kid and family friendly and I will be here monthly if not weekly! Thanks again for another awesome experience!
(5)J H.
(5)Dave F.
Wow. This is some of the best pizza I haveHad in a long time. Great crust, very tasty toppings, and fresh sauce. This is my new go to pizza place when I'm visiting Ashland.
(5)Enid Y.
Great service, delicious pizza. I from New York so you know I am picky about my pizza, this place comes very close, very close indeed.
(4)Puppy F.
Very tasty pizza! Not as marvolous as Martoli's downtown, but the best pizza place in southern Ashland. Perfect for the university dorms across the street.
(4)Jonah K.

Will do in a pinch.

I don't know what they are selling here, but I grew up in the Bronx and this ain't pizza!

Love the pizza here! Great dough a a huge choice of fun pizzas. Was reading some of the reviews comparing there pizza to the Bronx or Chicago and all I can say is, "go back where you came from if it is so much better!"
(5)Daniel O.
place is ok but the pizza is hardly a step up from little Caeser's
(2)Kathryn B.
These guys are great! I unfortunately do not live here, but Ashland is a good midpoint between Portland and San Francisco. Whenever I'm in Ashland I order pizza from these guys. Hand made, fast and delicious!
(5)Kathryn J.
Great service! Loved the salad bar. Wings were not good. Dough knots were excellent. Cheese bread was good. Pizza great.
(4)Trevor S.
Best pizza In Ashland hands down. Get the sourdough crust!!! Gapco is an ashland staple.
(5)Debbie W.
(4)Shanti M.
(5)Vince L.
Great pizza. Love the crust.
(5)Issy D.

4 stars only because giseppis gets the 5 star worthiness. even better than the pizza here is the doughknots. incredible.
(4)Travis F.
(5)Stephanie K.
(5)Lynn W.
Yum. YUM!
(5)Rand B.

(5)Karen S.
Just got a gluten free pizza. Don't bother. Really not a good pizza. Head to kaleidoscope in Medford. Worth the drive, not a disappointment like Great American.
(1)Brent M.
Great American has long been a staple of Ashland cuisine. If I'm not mistaken the original owners Bud and Maureen opened about 22 years ago. Once they sold it to their long time employees it actually got better (if that was even possible). Love their sourdough crust and fresh ingredients. Mmmmm
(5)Susie W.
Awesome sourdough pizza, great beer. The Mediterranean variety with artichokes, feta etc. was delicious. Loved the outdoor seating and nice blue benches on a warm night. Adults loved it, kids loved it. Definitely a place for a repeat visit!
(5)heather r.
Yummy pizza! Make sure you have the dough knots! Dog friendly outdoor deck. Awesome sourdough crust and many choices for sauces and toppings. Too bad we live 500 miles away or we would be back weekly!
(4)Lisa B.

(4)john P.
(5)Russell R.
Great place good size portions excellent value pizza with fresh toppings I would recommend if ever in Ashland
(5)Dude M.
(2)Angela G.
(4)Marissa S.
Interesting combos to choose from, friendly service, and good beer. The doughknots were a great appetizer to quell our hunger before the pizza arrived.
(4)Crystal G.
(4)Spencer D.
(5)M S.

Yum!
