Large portions of delicious pie. The beers on tap went well with the pizza. We had a party of six and went right in on a busy Friday evening.

Outstanding in so many ways. Second time we've been here. First time was about 8 years ago and as soon as we decides to come to Ashland we knew we had to eat here again. Had the Margareta pizza and it was great. Followed that with a giant crookie (I think that's what they called it) and it was great. Can't possible say enough about the staff. So friendly and welcoming. Overall an awesome experience again. We'llbe back!!

Surprise! Gluten free Zza! #GfreeJOY! #Ashland. It's a pub/bar/pizza parlor with gluten free options. Not bad at all!

My friend and I are students at sou and had heard creekside had good food and wasnt as expensive as so many other places in ashland so we decided to try some delivery. We ordered the caprese and a calzone. The caprese was really good, hard to mess it up since its so simple, but overpriced since we only got 5 or 6 portions. The calzone however was very dissapointing. One side was burnt and the other was still doughy and looked under cooked, I don't know how that is possible to burn on side and not cook the other. We pulled off the burnt part as most was just on the crust. There was so much sauce and ricotta we couldnt even taste any of the other toppings and only found a tiny amount of mozzarella inside. My friend had a piece of the undercooked looking side and had to put it in the oven to cook it through. The final thing we were dissapointed about was we ordered our sodas and online it says coke, diet coke, sprite etc. We ordered coke and sprite and got rc and 7 up. To some people it wouldnt matter and we didnt care much either, just was dissapointed that the menu wasn't right. My friend said she wouldnt have gotten coke if she knew it was going to be rc, she finds rc too sweet. We will probably just be sticking to GAPCO next time we want something like pizza.

I absolutely love this place. Pizza by the slice. Full bar. Cool little stashy place. But service keeps getting worse and worse whenever I come here. I still recommend this place even living up in portland when some of my regulars do trip with their families. Such a cool little pizza bistro. But last time the same thing basically happened. The bartender just stared at us and didn't come over or send anyone over. Probably won't come back as often. Sad day. To the bartender with the multi-colored hair, next time please be a little more attentive to your customers.

Good pizza and good beer. Nice little spot on the creek with friendly staff. Came here twice during our 3 day visit to Ashland Oregon both times had the carni pizza which was fantastic! The toppings where all very fresh and cooked perfectly the beer selection was great too...... Had blue moon the first visit and then had a beer called Elysium which was very strong but good :)

We came here earlier after playing in Lithia park. The pizza was amazing. The ranch was so delicious you could drink it! I don't like sweet potato fries but they're sweet potato fries changed my life. They were so good! It didn't feel like they had an AC so it was just a little stuffy but it's nice they open all their windows to get the air flowing. Overall, such a great restaurant. I would recommend the pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, hot wings, yammers, and the walnut pear salad! Mmmm!

Delicious and fresh pizza and salad and the variety of on tap beers are great! And wonderful atmosphere outside since it is creek side & the inside is cozy and eclectic!

Eh... it was okay. The pro's were that is simply filled the void of my six buddies and I being very hungry and wanting to suck down some beers. So we looked past the fact that it was our waitress's first few nights (don't get me wrong, she was super-friendly and helpful, but seemingly overwhelmed) and that the pizza was mediocre. The one oddity that we found present, was the cowboy bartender who was sort of a dick. My buddy asked him what beers they had on tap (as we were all the way at one end of the bar, with tons of people swarmed around - meaning, we couldn't see from where we were at), and he proceeded to tell him to simply "use his eyeballs," or something to that extent, with a few other rude implications being made our direction. Really, dude? Guess what, you're a dick, get over yourself. Hopefully none of our tip money went to you, and simply to our nice waitress.

what i really love is how different bars have different character and attributes. this is my favorite bar for getting back into drinking. sometimes i take beer breaks and i dont like to come off of em too heavy which can be a problem sometimes. this is where i go to get my "sea legs" back. if arrive at the right hour you'll never have to pace yourself, the bar paces you, and theres usually a big of pot of water at one end so while youre waitin you can sober it up a bit in between drinks. the pizza soaks up what that doesnt take care of and usually byt the time youve got your food and a couple of drinks its time to go home. really great atmosphere to hang out in too.

They delivered to La Quinta; that was nice. The pizza was very good. I love NY pizza, but also Round Table and Abbey's. The pizza here at Creekside.....there was nothing that stood out. Not a special flavor to the sauce or ingredients. But it was all fresh, and it all tasted very good. Note that this was a delivered pizza, too. So I can imagine that it would be even better at the restaurant. This pizza is one of my son's Top 5. He's never been to NY. But yeah, all in all, this was a very good pie.

Came here with my boyfriend for a beer and pizza. Our beers were delicious and the pizza was good too. We ordered the Margherita Pizza. Not my favorite. Will be coming back and ordering a traditional pepperoni. ALSO, I should mention! The crookie! It-is-to-die-for.

Great pizza, great beer, great prices! This pizza stop is a little hard to find (you have to walk downstairs from the street), but it's worth the hunt! You MUST try the chipotle ranch sauce!

  • Lori K.

The pizza here is pretty good. The one that stood out the most was the pizza with breaded eggplant... can't remember the name. The stuff is great on it's own, so why not throw it on top of a pizza? It totally works! The eggplant was flavorful and added something unique and delicious. I also tried a couple of their salads, which were pretty good, but nothing special. Service is very friendly and prices are reasonable. The place is a little hidden, so make sure you go down the stairs and head towards the creek. With a pool table inside, and a relaxing and chill atmosphere alongside the creek, this is a great place for meeting up with a bunch of friends.

Best gluten free pizza in town. You would almost think it's normal pizza since the taste is so close to the real stuff. Definitely recommend for pizza lovers.

For Ashland, I think that Creekside is as good as pizza gets--provided that you don't like the thin-crust, New York-style dough. If you like dough that has real flavor, and if you like to taste the flavor of the wood-fired oven, then you'll prefer Creekside's crust to any other of the local options. One of the highlights here though isn't the pizza, it's the calzones. They make them from scratch (of course) and you can get pretty much anything you want put into the stuffings. High brow or basic, the choices are yours. And the best part: it's ridiculously affordable. I like the rotating taps here and there is usually something that catches my eye. Sometimes they do weird "not suitable for a pizza joint" brews--like the disgusting green apple ale in the summer of 2013--but normally they have a great breadth of selection. Creekside delivers, too. Bear in mind that in late spring and early fall, the place is stuffed as a calzone with high school kids who come for the Shakespeare stuff. You won't get a table and you won't get a delivery unless you are looking for something after 7:30 at night. During those busier hours, a delivery can take 90 minutes. The rest of the year, I've never had a problem getting inside or getting a delivery within 45 minutes. I like Creekside mostly because of the flavours in the crust. Great American has ridiculously tasty sourdough, and Giseppi's has great combinations and a decent crust (when it's not soggy), but Creekside gets more of my pizza cash, and probably always will.

The female bartender redeemed herself! My last time there, she was nice and she smiled and offered a little friendly banter, so I stand corrected. 5th star officially restored!

Not only is their pizza amazing and available by the slice, but for some reason they have the best wings I've ever had anywhere in the US. That sauce is amazing. I literally crave it weekly - I would buy their hot wing sauce in bottle form if they'd allow it and put it on everything! I have gotten several people addicted to them. Also, they always have a great beer selection for "microbrew or die" types such as myself.

I haven't been in Ashland long. Perhaps this is what passes for pizza. But it is truly not good. My first clue should have been the guy telling me it would be 15 minutes for my pizza to be ready. For a pick-up order. On a Friday night. Which is to say, even assuming there were absolutely no other pizzas waiting on the line-up (on a Friday), if they assembled the thing in approximately 30 seconds and baked it for the entire remaining 14 and a half, there's still no way that thing could be properly baked. And lo, it was not. Everything on the pizza could be more aptly described as "heated." It was hot. But it wasn't cooked. Garlic, onions, spinach and tomatoes were all still raw. Hell, the spinach was on top and uncooked beforehand, which is to say it was a leaf. A leaf. In an oven. You know what happens when you bake a leaf in an oven? Well, if you actually cook the damn thing, it goes up in flames. Seeing as they were only slightly wilted, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the oven was set to warm, not, you know. BAKE. I also got the yam fries (yammers) which were limp and soggy and generally flaccid. They made me depressed just looking at them. They might well be good when they are fresh, but these were decidedly not. Only thing saving this place from one star was the service. Thanks for being nice and helpful, guy-on-the-phone and bartender-lady. You were peachy.

Just passing through town, but they gave us a 1:15 delivery time and we're at 2 hours now and still don't have a pizza. I called to ask about it and she told me they were really busy and hung up on me.

First night in Southern Oregon, I used Yelp to find the "closest pizza place" and found this instead of anything actually nearby. Luckily they delivered to Talent for me, and I was shocked at their pizza! Very nice sized pizza with excellent toppings and great taste. A little spendy though.

I usually hit up both Caldera and Creekside if i'm going out for drinks - they are right next to each other and are, in my honest opinion, the best two places FOR drinks in town. The clientele is pretty much the same as Caldera, they have pizza for around 3 bucks a slice - which is nice when you need to pad your stomach, and they have arrogant bastard on tap. What? that's awesome. Monkey porter too - although not my fav, it's still a porter on tap, for 4$. Awesome. They have sweet art on the wall, and it's kinda dark in there, but i like that ambiance. mini pool table in the back, and really just a nice chill spot. the bouncers (or at least 2 of them) tend to be a bit obnoxious sometimes though, and will powertrip you... which I really don't like. I only knock them down from 5 stars for this reason and this reason only. Other than that, a close 2nd for my favourite bar in town.

Great pizza, great drinks, fairly priced. This is a fun place to go on a Thursday night! They also have great deals Wednesday nights. My friends and I enjoy there food here often. Definitely recommend!

I ordered a custom calzone: spicy marinara, spinach, prosciutto, red onions, and kalamata olives. I didn't read the note about ricotta: it was a bit off putting but still tasty. The overall flavor was good, but the onions were coarsely chopped and still very crunchy. I wonder why they weren't thinly sliced so they would cook more. Chewy crust, though, so overall a good calzone.

I took a group of 35 people there. I pre-ordered pizzas and everything was ready when we got there. It was easy and affordable for my student group. Thank you for your great service.

Well, I will be totally honest: Kaleidoscope has the best pizza in the valley, in my opinion. That being said, I love my Creekside when I'm in Ashland. They have a great selection of salads and pizzas to choose from, and a full bar with plenty of great local(ish) beers on tap. The only major downside I have found is that you can't bring the under-agers in here after 8. This is ideal if you want to go play pool with the boys or have a "grown up" evening out, but if you have kids or friends who aren't 21 yet (as many SOU students do), this is an early-dinner kind of place for you. -Lux

Pizza is pretty good, not mind blowing, but pretty good. The Service was solid and I thought it was a very cool little space for a pizza place. If your in Ashland, this seems like the place to get a decent pie. If it was not 300 miles from my house I might be tempted to go more often.

Situated below Thai Pepper (which I do not recommend), descend a flight of stairs from the sidewalk and enter into a dramatically lit gourmet pizzeria tavern that is buzzing with great soul, flavorful dishes, and well crafted drinks. I shared a veg. Hercules pizza with a noteworthy marinara and thin crust. Treat yourself to a Ginger Drop Martini from Creekside's cold drink menu...

Great chicken wings, very nice waitress. My ceaser salad was WAY overdressed so she gave us a a small discount. A nice casual place for pizza by the creek.

Awesome little spot! Superb pizza and great salad... Atmosphere was top notch for a casual creek side sneak away. It was so fun peeking down onto Ashland creek while we sipped our IPAs and grabbed slice after slice! :)

What a nice, basic pizza joint! Their pies are offered with a good selection of toppings and smart combinations. The full bar and the dedicated area for the pool table take Creekside above the level of other Ashland-area options. The pizzas are greasy, but not artificially so. Pesto with oil and cheese is going to run and ooze, right? You're going to get a satisfying, if not gourmet, meal at this bistro. We were disappointed that the only outside eating area was downwind from the smoking tables where plenty of addicts indulged. But, the inside is spacious, naturally cool, and fine for low-key meal.

This is a great hidden treasure of Ashland. It is a little hard to find but well worth the hunt. Great NY style thin crust pizza. They have a lot of toppings and are very generous with them.

If I could go 3.5 stars I would. Pizza is good but not great. The pies just don't have a lot of flavor. Been here twice and both times were slightly above average. Service has been great each time.

Great pizza, good beer, nice menu selection, awesome crowd, live music; they even have a pool table (rarity these days)! The bar staff is typical of all places you go to. If they are busy (and many times this place is), the staff is not going to ask you your life story. And when they are slow the conversation is lovely. I really like this joint. Highly recommended.

Fast delivery to our hotel room. Took our phone number to call us when they got there but ended up coming to our room. Nice! The side salad surprisingly came with field greens and good toppings. Pizza had good flavor and I liked how it was topped with fresh parmesan cheese. Fairly priced too.

Took awhile to find Creekside but well worth the trouble since this pizza is the best. We were staying at the plaza and the creekside bistro is just right across the parking lot (note, the restaurant is downstairs in the same complex as Agave). We got 2 slices of cheese pizza to go--they also have a lunch special, 1 slice of pizza, drink and salad for $5.75--smoking deal since the pizza slices are HUGE. The crust is nice, just the right amount of crispness and not too soggy or chewy. Oh my. FYI, pizza slices are served during lunchtime only. For dinner you need to purchase an entire pie. A suggestion, order early, especially on a friday or Saturday evening. It does take awhile, but totally worth it. They also have a little bar and it's open until 1:00 am but not sure if they make pizza that late. Hopefuly they do though.

I used to love going to the Creekside, however last time I went is was an awful experience! My husband I were there with a group of friends and went to the bar to order drinks. The bartender was a piece of work! My husband ordered a moscow mule (mixed drink), the bar tender was affronted at the thought of having to actually make a mixed drink verus pouring a pitched of beer. She rolled her eyes at us sighed and to quote said "I guess i can, if you really want one.". Your a bertender for crying out loud, your only job is to make drinks, give me a break! Awful service.

The Creek is a great place to catch up with friends, grab a slice, and play a game of pool or two. The deck outside is great to sit in the summer with local brews (I wish Hazelnut Brown Nectar was still on tap there!). I have fond memories of late nights with friends at the Creek and love the casual atmosphere for socializing. If eating there: The Slammy Pizza is #1, sharing an order of Yammers is fun, and the Crookie is the ultimate in splurging (watch out this is an addictive dessert!).

  • Danny W.

If there ever was a pizza place that deserved five stars, its Creekside. Every pizza is great (especially their really spicy one, whose name I forget) the beer list, for Ashland, is good, and the place in general is friendly.

  • Paige D.

I love Creekside, it is my favorite pizza place in Ashland! I have been here so many times, and almost every time the pizza is delicious, the service is quick and the atmosphere is fun and lively. One time, the pizza I ordered was slightly burnt, but that is the only complaint I have. I love the combination pizzas, the flavors are so good and the prices are pretty fair. The creekside salad is also delicious, but it's so hard not to order pizza here!

Nice location, downstairs and tucked behind the main front buildings. It's situated right next to a small bubbling creek, so sit outside or by the window and enjoy a calming view (otherwise it just feels like a dark pub or bar). Service is prompt and friendly in a laid back way. One 14inch pizza plus shared salad was perfect for the two of us (Big guy with a big appetite and medium girl with small appetite. lol). The salad came out first and it was a standard Ceasar, creamy and cool but not too zesty (I would have liked a little more garlic and anchovy personally, but it was good). The pizza was a nice chewy crisp crusted Margharita style with juicy tomatoes, garlic, basil, and mozz. The crust was slightly too thick to work with these toppings imo, I prefer a very thin crust for this style, but overall the crust was great. Would have been fantastic with a spicy meat topping. Good sauce, not too sweet. We also added breaded eggplant and they were crispy and tender, but not that flavorful. Pizza, salad, and one cocktail came out to $30 with tax.

Oooof, this place serves up divine pizza. Full disclosure: I had been driving for 8 hours up until the act of food consumption, so maybe I could have eaten a stale PB&J and it would have tasted divine. But I've had a lot of pizza, and the Bootsie (a vegetarian pie, no less!) passed the test, with its goat cheese and fresh herbs. So did the beautiful location (over a rushing creek!) and the beer selection (local!). I'd definitely eat here again.

  • Robin S.

Best pizza and calzones in Ashland. The Slammy is my fave (thanks Lexie!) with roasted yams and garlic, broccoli, feta and caramelized onions. I love their unique combos. The wings are also tasty but would benefit from a little caramelization of the skin. Prices are a little steep but on par for Ashland restaurants, which are typically inflated.

  • A T.

Pizza was great. It definitely rates in my top 5 pizzas on the West Coast. The crust was on the thinner side, and perfect. Service was an issue, though. They only had one girl working the entire restaurant on 4th of July weekend. She did her best, but it was still slow. The other odd part was there were two hostesses who just stood around. They could have helped with water and bringing drinks and stuff.

Had the crookie last night with a pitcher of Mirror Pond. Such a good way to end the day.

  • Gomez L.

If you grade on a (west coast) curve, the pizza was good. The salads were great. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating to our party of seven. This is what the owner needs to read - The bartender with the dreadlocks is hurting your business. She was rude with no provocation. The only reason we stayed and ordered food was because we were meeting two Ashland locals there. If it were up to me we would have left after the first round of drinks. Every other aspect of our meal was solid.

  • Dina B.

Yam fries are amazingly delicious. Try "yammies" with one of the many beers they have on tap. The pizza crust was crunchy on the bottom, but thick enough to have little air pockets. The eggplant is the best I have ever had on a pizza. To avoid sliminess, the eggplant is cubed, lightly breaded, and fried. The ambiance is more like a sports bar than a bistro.

  • Kat L.

This is my favorite place to eat when I go to Ashland. It's very close to several hotels and just a few minutes walk from the Shakespeare Festival. The pizza here is not just the best in Ashland, but better than almost anything I can get at home. They've got several specialty pizzas - the Melanzana is one of the best (artichokes, breaded eggplant, pesto)! I have never had a pizza I didn't enjoy. And when a restaurant offers to give you ranch with your pizza, its got to be a winner in my book. It is a little hard to find from the street, but well worth searching for. It also tends to have fewer tourists than some other restaurants in town.

Delicious pizza, a great selection of beer/wine, and creekside seating to boot. We went here during a Saturday afternoon to meet up with friends, and it was just perfect! Nice and mellow. We shared an 18" pizza between the four of us and it was just enough (and priced right). I will be returning for sure!

  • Bill G.

Ambiance here was very good. This place is by the river, has outdoor seating, and the indoor areas are as a pizza place should be. Servers were friendly, and there are several TVs that make it easy to watch whatever game you like. However, once again, pizza in Ashland is uninspired. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but it was run-of-the-mill ok pizza.

You have to look really closely to find this place, but it is worth the search. I had been to Ashland a handful of times and had never explored this grouping of restaurants tucked behind Main St. Creekside has a comfortable pizza/pub atmosphere with friendly service. My husband and I shared a calzone and Caesar salad--both excellent. One of Ashland's hidden gems. I will definitely return to this place!

I used to like the big deck... with the crow's nest - but they got rid of that somehow. Best beer in ashland, and it's fun.

I've never had their pizza, but they have a great beer selection, and good atmosphere (and plenty of eccentrics to strike up conversations with). Would have given 5 stars, but they close at 1a.m, right around the time i start to get in the groove,

I just moved to Ashland and have been searching for a great pizza place- I found it finally. I tried Northwest Pizza Company and that sucked, so this was next on my list. The menu offerings are creative- I was a little apprehensive at first, but decided to take a risk and order their Slammy pizza- whole roasted garlic, goat cheese, yams, broccoli, carmelized onions with tomato sauce. It was DELICIOUS- the flavors were all so subtle, and the crust is perfection- just like the crust back home in Chicago- crisp on outside, soft on the inside. I also ordered hot wings- they were awesome- SUPER hot. My lips were on fire- that's what i personally like in a hot wing. The only drawback is this place is pretty pricey- $18 for an 18" pie, but it was a really large pizza- more than enough for two people- we had leftovers.

Not worth the money. My calzone was burned, and it has way too much sauce.

We went last night for dinner before our play. Service was fast and friendly. The green salad was fresh and I liked the balsamic dressing. Husband had the chipotle ranch, which he liked. We split a calzone. It was a little cold inside, but otherwise very tasty. The waitress offered to put it back in the oven, which she did for hubby's half, but I was okay with mine as is. She also gave us a dollar off. That's good customer service. I used some of the leftover ranch to dip my crust into and was loving the smokey heat and pure ranchiness. We will definitely go back!

Stopped in Ashland with my folks and aunt for the night after a road trip. Everyone wanted pizza and beer and ended up here. My mom and aunt used to live in Ashland loooooong ago and were showing my pops and i their old stomping grounds. Long story short- THIS PLACE IS THE JAM! The pizza was top notch, salads like damn that's tasty, and the calzone I had was very superb. The service was perfect! No complaints at all. My folks tend to get loud, laugh lots, and joke all the time. We will be stopping here more often during road trips!

Tried Creekside this weekend and I gotta say, it's pretty legit... A good pizza starts with a good crust and Creekside delivers! The toppings were good, but could have been a little better... The restaurant had a great vibe with funky artwork hanging on the walls... The waitresses were nice but extremely busy... I liked Creekside a lot, but I wouldn't say it was perfect... Going back to the toppings, they skimp on the cheese... When you order a Margherita pizza, you have to have enough salty cheese to counter the acidic tomatoes (if the restaurant makes it with sliced tomatoes, not all restaurants do it this way) other wise it can be a little bland... It wasn't anything a little salt couldn't take care of, but I've never had to salt my tomatoes on a pizza before... The skimped cheese wasn't as noticable on the Combo Classico pizza that we also had, because the loaded toppings on this pizza were stand-alone good... The other thing that bothered my whole party was the smoking section right outside their front door... Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with smokers, to each is own, smoke em' if you gottem'... But when you have 6 to 8 people smoking in a small area, it gets a little overwhelming, and it was enough for everyone in our party to shake their heads and take notice (including our little ones)... The cigarette smoke was the first thing we got when we arrived at Creekside and also the last thing we got when leaving... It was a Friday, so maybe it isn't always like this, but being our first time at Creekside it is one of things that stood out during our visit... Overall, I recommend Creekside... The pizza has great crust and makes it worth the drive to Ashland... I will be back for another go around in the near future! ***Eat Local***

Tucked away in dimly lit booth, Creekside at midnight was prime territory for engaging in that whole "see and be hidden" thing us forest gnomes like to do on weekends. From my shadowed roost in a corner, I stared relentlessly at flannel and man buns and vests and arm muscles playing pool. Walker's Ale and yammers fueled me as I visually crept through the bar, incognito. ...And then my friend forgot her phone. Our server ran after us (thanks!), which was immensely helpful, despite blowing my cover as an invisible creepette sleuthing off into the night.

As a long time Ashland resident and a bar and restaurant worker i just witnessed the creekside bouncer and bartenders unlawfully and illegally beat and physically pound blows into a customer and hurt him to the point of blood and purely illegal so cal gang violence style when he did nothing at all and that's not how this world works, this was pure over use of force on a local and community oriented cival man that never made one move on this man and was subdued to the point of breathlessness. Me as a 20 year Ashland restaurateur will be boycotting and not supporting cruel violence.

We have eaten here on and off for ten years. For a while, everything goes okay, then they do something atrocious and we stay away for a few years. Now I am simply DONE! Worst service ever! Called in a delivery order at 9:53 p.m. on Aug. 19, 2015 . They advertise that they deliver until 10:00pm, but on the phone they said there was no more delivery. Whatever. They offered to make the order to go. I agreed, and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived exactly 20 minutes later and stood at the bar, wallet in hand. They weren't very busy. It was as though I were invisible. A server asked the guy next to me what she could do for him. He said he was already being helped. She nodded, looked at me and went out the door to the patio. Another woman (bartender?) came and brought the guy next to me a beer and two cigarettes. She looked at me and went to the other end of the bar and bussed a few glasses, and then started washing glasses and stocking the clean ones. Two guys came up to the bar and ordered beers. She served them. And so this went for twenty minutes. At 10:33, having waited for 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence, I simply left hungry. I expected someone to call asking about my orphaned order, but nope. It has been over an hour. It isn't that the service at Creekside was bad, it was nonexistent.

Ok pizza, so so drinks and shitty service. Waitress was a rude bitch. Ordered a drink, got carded then a different waitress comes and asks for everyone's ID (we weren't even trying to order drinks yet)I show it, she says I need to take it out of my wallet even though I didn't the first time. I say, actually I've already been carded as I take it out of my wallet and point to the drink. She snaps that it shouldn't be a problem if we are all over 21 and her job is the one on the line. Later waited 15 minutes with an empty glass.

My favorite pizza in town, no doubt about it! Their daily veggie/meat specials are usually very enticing combinations. If you're feeling a little crazy, order one of each!! Plus, they have two ranch options: regular or chipotle. Lunch special comes with salad, a slice, and drink for a great deal. Aside from pizza, the walnut pear salad is delicious, great sweet potato fries, and for dessert, the crookie (freshly baked chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream); so drool-worthy! For drinks, they have a great selection of beers on tap, though I've found it's generally too flat for my taste and tend to steer clear. I would go for a whiskey ginger instead.

Food was good, nothing spectacular. There were 3 of us on a Saturday afternoon and even though the place was dead, service was really slow, and food was even better. Pretty setting by the creek, but since it's underneath another building it felt dark and damp for daytime. I'm sure it gets livelier when the sun goes down.

One of the best places to eat in Southern Oregon. Great pizza, sandwiches, and drinks! Whether it's just a regular slice of pepperoni or the special of the day it is a must! Wash it down with a famous creek side lemonade

Drove to Ashland from the Bay Area today and stopped at Creekside Pizza for lunch. Great calm and cozy atmosphere, delicious fresh salads, very good pizza, and a nice variety of draft beers. Hosts and servers were very pleasant, friendly, and patient with our requests. Will definitely be back!

Best pizza in Ashland. We've tried Great American Pizza and NW Pizza and they're alright. The crust and taste of Creekside Pizza is far more superior...

Yet another excellent and accidental find in Ashland. I'm not a big pizza patron, so when I'm going out, I generally pick something else as a first choice. But tonight, thanks to wildfires, dangerously high levels of smoke in the air, and yes the handicap license plate is for asthma, thanks for asking.... I pulled up the Yelp window and asked for restaurants that deliver in Ashland. And Creekside Pizza had the highest rating and the best looking menu on their web page. They delivered free to our motel room door -- and the food was excellent. Husband wanted his standby fave pizza -- plain cheese. His 14" thin and very delicately crispy crust pizza was $14.50 -- and he ate it all except for the piece I stole. I ordered a "Jose's Pear Walnut Salad" -- with chicken and balsamic vinegrette -- and this is the best restaurant salad I've had all summer. Organic greens, candied walnuts, blue cheese, plus a beautiful pear sliced thin -- and an equally beautiful chicken breast (tender and juicy) also sliced very thin -- so pretty I took this salad's picture and posted it here..... Two Izzy sodas, a bucket of ice from the hotel office -- and this turned out to be a vacation, after all!

This place has the best pizza in Ashland, and it's better than anyplace in San Francisco, too. I also recommend the chipotle ranch.

My favorite place in Ashland to hang out with friends and eat delicious pizza. Creekside has a special place in my heart. However, the beer is almost ALWAYS flat, which is a pity since they have a nice beer selection.

Had lunch here today. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and excellent food. Had the lunch special which was a huge slice of pizza and the walnut pear salad. It was so good I ordered one more slice of pizza and took it with me Togo for later. I would go back here for sure and they even have a pool table if you want to get your game on. A couple TV's and a full liquor bar also for those who like those things.

Looks like a college bar with upscale surroundings. Food is great. Bartender is OK, but he's honest. Especially liked the organic nation gin that they serve. Also the hot wings are great. Very reasonable price, especially considering what a tourist trap Ashland is. It is by no means fine dining , but it's much better than other nearby fancier restaurants, both in terms of value and quality. Worth going back for sure.

Horrible service. Came in today at 430, our waitresses name was Victoria. Our drinks came at the end of meal and there was no apology! She did happen to mention that her "bartender is really backed up" when there were 2 people at the bar and the table behind us already had their drinks! Of course we didn't get any percentage off of anything. I don't recommend this place at all.

I've been to Creekside twice for beer and a slice. Great beer selection and the pizza is really good at a fine price. The reason for the two stars and the reason why I won't be back is because the bartender with the glasses and brown hair(he kinda looks like Silent Bob with glasses)is rude and unprofessional. There are plenty of places to grab a drink and a bite in this town so there is no reason to go and sit somewhere with a rude, substandard bartender. A message to the owners - this guy is the face of your restaurant.

Looking for a new place for dinner as we travel quite a bit and often hit Ashland along our route. We happened upon Creekside Pizza and loved it! Loved the feel inside, the vibe and really enjoyed the whole thing! I had a beer, the delicious Jose's Walnut Pear salad and my husband and I shared a pizza. They made a mistake on his half of pizza but they brought out my half and said they were making a new whole pizza. We told them we had no where to put the leftovers and my half was plenty for the both of us. Thank goodness Ray loves black olive and pineapple cause it was more than enough for sure. They gave us half off on the pizza and we thought they handled the situation perfectly! I am a pizza fanatic and have to say, this is some of the best pizza I've had in Oregon. The crust even had a delicious flavor. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back to try the pasta! Didn't take long to go back... went the 2nd night too and had beer all over again and pasta... delicious!!!!

Good gluten free crust for pizza and the sweet potato fries with the chipotle ranch was delicious. Try the canned champagne. It's super cute, pink and quite tasty. Overall I had a good experience at this restaurant and will go back the next time I'm in Ashland.

The food is good. Our mistake was eating outside by the creek. On the patio there is a large planter filled with bamboo that splits the patio in two. The patio is sheltered on three sides by the building. Behind the bamboo curtain is where the local dreadlocked young street folks hang out and smoke cigarettes. The staff come and go and hang out with them. Because that area is blocked from view when you come down the walkway downstairs the the restaurant, you would not know that 8 people are hanging out. Even though the signs say no smoking in the entire building, tasting your meal through cigarette smoke and the sounds of the creek drowned out by loud somewhat stoned or drunk laughter makes you wish for Chipotle ambience. We ate at 6:00 p.m. on a Friday before a theater show.
