OK place for breakfast. Clean enough, decent service. Basic egg, meat, grits and biscuit place. The biscuits were homemade and quite tasty.

Nothing positive at all about this place. The place is dirty, service horrible, takes a very long time for the food to arrive, plus don't expect them to have everything on the menu - as the caesar salad wasn't available. On top of that, the food is priced too high for such a breakfast themed restaurant. Won't eat their again.

A spot offering classic American fair, including breakfast all day. An established local favorite that is worth the drive. I normally treat myself to a late breakfast or an early lunch, something those hip young people refer to as brunch, after a successful morning of court. Located on the west side of I-75, hard to miss. The building doesn't look in the best shape, interior could use some work too but that's part of the charm. The place is clean, with not much decorations. The menu and tables are plastered with local advertisements. They offer everything from your typical breakfast staples, to sandwiches, steaks and weekly comforting specials. My typical order is the ham steak breakfast. $13.99 gets you a meal that leaves you full for the next day and half. They give you a slice of ham, topped with a grilled pineapple, that takes up a whole plate by itself. Eggs cooked to order and the compliments of your choosing whether it be grits (my personal favorite), pancake, or homemade biscuit and gravy (also good, but easily makes this meal cross the line of excessive) and toast or an english muffin. The eggs are really cooked to order and in butter. Never had a bad experience there. Staff is friendly. Probably the only restaurant I know in existence that still has a smoking section, that seems as big or bigger than the non-smoking area.

I recently visited this establishment for breakfast before disembarking for a trip. The food was good, besides my over-easy eggs, which were more like over-cooked eggs! Terrible eggs! My waitress was very fast and she made sure I was helped. 3 stars only because of the eggs.

Wanted to eat some place local - this is definitely homespun with a hearty "country" breakfast. You won't be disappointed if that's what you want.

Went for breakfast. The wait was a little long but the food is good country cookin. Husband had eggs and ribeye. A little tough and not seasoned at all but he ate it. Biscuits were nice and fluffy, gravy was good though a little bland. Eggs cooked as ordered. Nice big piece of ham. Nice and friendly service is why I gave it a 4 star. And the coffee is real good.

We passed through this seemingly small town on the way to summer camp in The Ozarks. I was not too happy about going to Missouri since I had to give up my Jimmy Buffet and Family Values concert tickets. I was already thinking about a "Detroit Rock City" exit strategy when we stopped for the buses to fuel up. We took a lunch break and most everyone went to McDonald's or Subway but I ventured into the town and... My world changed. The open sign flashing, smells of hot coffee, real people, great "Home Did" service, and more importantly, GREAT FOOD! I couldn't wait to stop on the way back, but the driver took another route home... Trust me, its been YEARS since I have been and I still talk about it.

An interesting place to see locals from okmulgee, and grab a quick bite while passing through. Don't judge. We got a breakfast egg plate and a steak sandwich which were good. This Greasy spoon is probably the best you'll do in this town.
