Later the company and the Applebee's concept changed hands with Abe Gustin and John Hamra who started the first Applebee's franchise restaurant in Kansas City.

Not bad. Not authentic Mexican food by any means but neither is Taco Bell - and I love that chain. For authentic, I mean something like Pancho Villa (see: yelp.com/biz/5flkgk1Bmhb… ). I missed lunch at the office. It was a toss up between Bleeker Street PIZZA (see: yelp.com/biz/oJ_XSPZFpvI… ) and Chipotle. I was hungry for lunch today and craving for something hearty and filling and Chipotle's Carnitas Fajita Burrito really really hit the spot. I would have given them 4 stars but the Carnitas (Grilled Pork) portion was small and drowned in some kind of sauce or oil. Chipotle also has it's own Tabasco Branded hot sauce. Excellent accompaniment with this fresh food. Just outside of the NE Corner Station of the 1,2,3 Subway. "RED LINE". Open DAILY - 11:00AM to 10:00PM.

I love Chipotle's. Yeah, it's a chain...but they're trying to do good, they really are. This particular location is always clean, fast, and delicious. Seriously, if you get there during lunch and come face to butt with a long line, don't worry. It moves really fast - you'll be eating in 8 minutes.

There was a huge line when I went in here for lunch with a coworker, but it moved surprisingly quickly. The food isn't anything that great and somewhat overpriced (over $10 for a burrito bowl and a bottle of Poland Spring), but it is reliably mediocre. I usually get chicken and pay the additional money for guacamole.

The first time I went, the manager had a bad attitude and seemed like they did not care about the customers. They were stingy on how much food they were scooping into our bowl. Also the workers were not very friendly. They watered down the sauces and did not have my favorite sauce, cilantro.

if chipotle was a girl and i was a lesbian, we'd totally be gay married. that's how much i love you chipotle, that's how much i need you. the chicken salad (pinto beans, chicken, extra pico de gallo, extra corn magicalness, and cheese) rocks my world in ways i didn't know existed. the employees are super friendly, fast and on the verge of knowing me by name. after scooping the deliciousness into my bowl they always say, "see you tomorrow!" ...and they do.

I don't typically review fast food places, but I've got to give some props to this Chipotle. They are a lean mean burrito/bowl/salad making machine. GoogaMooga should take a cue from their assembly line. Despite having a line out the door they manage to get people through in well under 5 minutes. Ingredients are always fresh and the quality consistent.

Love their burrito bowls! The people working there are very nice and don't rush on your order. The food always tastes fresh, too.

I love me some Chipotle. The cilantro flavor gets me. For me, when I spend $7.35 on the chicken burrito bowl it's all good and worth 'cause you actually feel FULL and can save some for later. I take out and walk to W4 st and take the train home. This is what I get-- rice, black beans, chicken, corn, salsa (the chopped tomato one), hot salsa (red one), sour cream (extra), cheese, lettuce. I love the chipotle flavored tabasco sauce they have. LOVE IT. Then again, I love spicy. I do. The mild green sauce is good also (you find these sauces at the napkin/ fork counter). Self serve and put as much as you want in the take- home-sauce plastic containers. I always get their chips (around $1.50). It compliments the chicken burrito bowl. Chipotle is for you if you like cilantro flavored dishes and toppings. If not then oh well. You're missing out!!

I absolutely loved chipotle until last night. My favorite thing to eat was the chicken burrito. Unfortunately it gave me severe food poisoning. I've never been so sick in my entire life.

Gotta bump this average. Happy. Fast. Generous. Delicious. Don't let the lunch line scare you away. It'll move. Way to go guys.
(4)Michael G.
Omg. Stay away from this restaurant. The cook does not wear gloves and start to scratch his crotch while cooking. I had to tell the manager to tell his cook to wear gloves. Of course the cook just gave me a dumb face and didn't apologize or anything. I would not come here again even if you paid me.

OK. I luv Chipotle, just NOT THIS ONE. Who says they're fast??? The line circles the interior creating chaos for those eating in and then out the door at lunch time. What a waste of 45 minutes! In all that time, I managed to move ten feet. So, I grabbed an order form for next time and headed to the office. Today, I tried to place a fax order to speed up the process - FAX IS BUSY. I tried to phone in an order - THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. WTH? Your best bet is to walk to the next block on Varrick and you'll find a very similar Tex-Mex burrito shop only this one actually wants your business. For $6.00, you get a burrito and a free drink...
(1)Dave C.
I used to come here for lunch sometimes when i worked on varick. I remember the lines being huge at lunchtime I generally like chipotle but for the wait time here, bleh.
(2)Krisy C.
service was horrible, i was patient and friendly, said hi, i waited my turn, and the workers seemed so miserable and angry, she was throwing the food in my burrito bowl carelessly and it was just so rude and obnoxious. I got to cashier to pay shes just staring at me, and then after i paid, i had to ask her for a tray how am i supposed to carry that huge burrito bowl with my hands with overflowing lettuce pieces? and then i was sitting down doing some work on my phone, the place was quiet its not like it was super crowded and busy, the same cashier kept coming over wiping tables over and over again, how distracting, then i wasnt even finished eating my last bite, she grabbed my tray away from me with my drink and went to throw it out, i had to grab my drink back cause it was still almost full...what a psychotic place to eat. other chipotles ive been to are so nice and loving to their customers, this is by far the worse, its like what did i ever do to you? if you dont like your job then go apply somewhere else! let someone else work your position who actually likes the food business.
(1)Michael S.
Slow, understaffed, small portions, and higher prices. Nope.
(2)Brendan Y.
Spacious CMG. Ive been here a few times and never been crowded.
