Incredible draft beer selection (at great prices, I might add) and the eggplant, spinach, and tomato pizza is SO TASTY! Love this place.

The restaurant was dead, yet our waitress disappeared for immediately after taking our order, never to return. My burger was awful. I didn't get a side that I asked for and, since my server didn't come back, I couldn't ask for it. I paid the crazy restaurant mark-up for a soda that I couldn't even get refilled, and I desperately needed it to attempt to wash down my dry, tasteless burger. A table near us that had served a large party was empty when we got there and stayed piled with dirty plates the entire 45 minutes or so we were there. Flies were buzzing around the old food. It also took forever to get the check taken care of. As we walked out, three servers were just loitering near the entrance, doing nothing, and didn't bother to say goodbye to us. Horrible, horrible experience. It was my first time at that chain and it does not make me want to go back.

I tried, I really did. This is just an even 3 stars. We went again, and this third time, our waitress was nice enough but freaking stupid... Seriously. Read on. My husband and I were looking at their featured new pizzas - one was a cheeseburger one. I pointed at it, and asked the waitress "How big is this pizza, the 10.69 one?" She says, "oh, it feeds 1-2 people, moreso 1." So Hubby and I decided to get that small individual pizza, and just get cheese sticks and salads to go with it. She comes back for us to order, and I point at the EXACT SAME SPOT (There was only one price listed there) and said, "Well go ahead and try this pizza." and then ordered our app and salads. Well she brings back the pizza, and it's not ginormous or anything, but it was bigger than I'd pictured for only feeding one person. The bill comes and that pizza cost us 17.99! I said "This is a mistake, I ordered the pizza I pointed at on the front of the menu, there was only one price there." She "checks" it, comes back and says it's because we ordered a medium. I said, "No, we didn't. I discussed the price and size with you, pointed at what I wanted, discussed that the 10.69 was a smal pizza, and then went ahead and ordered it. That is a costly mistake." She sort of said sorry and slinked away with our credit card. I'm just giving up on this location. What a shame too, because the food is typically not bad, but the service... I mean really. In the big picture, is 7 dollars really that big of a deal? No, it's not. But I could have put 2 gallons of gas in my car or not wasted the extra food from the bigger pizza we didn't want.

Ugh! Gross! Waitress barely came over...sangria had no fruit at all! When I questioned why...I was told we don't have fresh fruit here like watermelon....ummm ok then why does the menu show fruit? That's what sangria is!! Chicken soffrito whatever blah it was looked like rolled processed chicken beast heated in the microwave! Basil was soggy! Yuck! Poor service! Nasty food!

Waitress was good but food was not. When we were seated overheard the couple behind us complaining about how long they were waiting for food(there were only 5 or 6 other tables seated). My food also took a long time and was tasteless, bland and not hot ($20 strip steak). Been her a few times hoping it will get better but it hasn't. I like uno's other locations but not this one.

It never ceases to amaze me how chain restaurants with the EXACT same menu items made the EXACT same way at EVERY location end up delivering such inconsistent results location-wise. There are three Uno's along the Northway. There's this one, all the way up at exit 15--there's the Latham one at exit 6--and there's the one in Crossgates at the end of the Northway. I don't go to this location much, as I live in Clifton Park and the Latham one is closest to me. That said, this Uno's has given me very consistent service--and that means consistently AWFUL. I don't know what is going on with the staff here, but every single time I've come here I've had a really terrible experience. I worked in a restaurant for years, so I know that oftentimes when you have a bad experience, it's not the fault of the person you're directly in contact with, i.e. the waiter--it could be that three people no-showed in the kitchen and so everyone is panicking, or it could be that the manager forgot to schedule a station and they're trying to compensate, or any other combination of events. However, I am 100% positive that with my bad experiences at this location, it was all the waitress' fault. Three times I've been to this location, and three times the waitress was so god-awful that we nearly walked out. The last time we were here, it was lunchtime, and we had both ordered off the lunch menu that included unlimited soup, as well as the shrimp and crab fondue appetizer. The soup was good, but we waited and waited and waited, probably at least 25 minutes, before she brought out any food--and it wasn't the appetizer, it was our entrees. Mine was the rattlesnake pasta, but she'd brought out the full portion of it instead of the lunch portion, and it was soggy and lukewarm, like it had been sitting at expo forever, which tells me that they weren't running food like they should have been. I admittedly have NO patience for this situation--I mean, the food's freaking ready, it's sitting RIGHT THERE, how much effort does it take to pick it up and walk it out to the table? This pissed me off when I worked in restaurants and it pisses me off as a customer. My husband and I figured she'd just forgotten to put in the order for the fondue appetizer, but decided what the hell, never mind. We've finished our entrees and are sitting there, waiting for the bill, when suddenly she shows up with our fondue appetizer--and it's BURNT, like a dark brown, incredibly obvious. My husband didn't even let her sit it on the table, he was like, "No, absolutely not, it's way too late for this, and why are you bringing it out if it's burnt? Take it back and take it off our bill." She disappears for like fifteen minutes. Normally I'd expect a manager to come over in this situation, because that's pretty standard practice whenever a customer expresses this kind of dissatisfaction, but one never showed. She finally showed back up with the bill, which she DROPPED on the table without a word. We look at it and she had failed to take the appetizer off the menu. When she drifted back around again, after maybe 5 or 10 minutes, my husband points this out to her. She disappears again. Another 5 minutes, she once again DROPS the bill on the table without a word. We look at it, and NOW she's trying to screw us--between the first bill and this one, she's changed what we ordered from the lunch menu (two of the Two for You lunch deals) to two entree orders AND two soup orders, which was significantly more expensive, nearly double what it was on the first bill. Ohhhh, my husband was PISSED. What, did she think she was going to screw us over by overcharging us in return for our making her take the fondue off the menu? Did she think we wouldn't NOTICE? We demanded a manager. She stalks off in a huff--I don't think she'd said a word to us since she brought the entrees out--and we wait...and wait...and wait. Like 10 minutes. She doesn't show back up, a manager doesn't show up, nothing. My husband ended up getting up and finding another waiter in the restaurant to explain the situation to. The waiter was extremely apologetic and changed the bill himself, bringing the new one back out in less than a minute. My husband gave him like $5 in cash and we left the bill on the table with cash to the penny. This chick wasn't getting any money out of us. Could not BELIEVE this situation. I don't know if there wasn't a manager there, or if the manager had the same "f*** you all" attitude as the waitress or what. But I am never ever going to this place again.

My husband and I went in on 1/6/13 for a late lunch. We were seated and given apps n drink menus. The waitress asked if we'd like something to drink and I said that I'd have a water for right now, I'm still looking. (which I thought was obviously that I was going to order a drink). When she came back, 10 minutes later, we gave our app order and my husband ordered a beer. We were then told that the bar was closed for renovations and all alcohol had been removed. During sunday football at a "bar and grill". Is it me or should there have been some sort of sign or announcement as we walked in, before we wasted our time. We were told however as we left, that there was a sign. It was at the bar. The bar that is closed.

SLOW service, with a capital 'S!' Don't see this myself coming back, I'll probably have better luck making deep dish myself using the old kitchen aid & cast iron. If I was from Chicago I'd be pretty embarrassed. I guess that's what I get for going to a chain. PS- Beer selection was also boring.

Contrary to negative reviews (all written a while ago), we had a very good experience. They have a nice little gluten free menu which made my partner happy. I had two small plates, a half Mediterranean pizza and a small goat cheese salad. Both were very good and a healthy serving size. Service was a tad slow but otherwise fine. Best of all, final price including my imported pint was very low. I'll be happy to go back.

My wife and I came for lunch on a Saturday, courtesy of vouchers we received from the company after a bad experience at the Queensbury location. While our overall impression was better this time out, we were still underwhelmed by the quality of the food. We both got the "2 for 12" deal, each of us picking a salad and an entree. Both my wife and I felt the salads were mediocre, with a poor balance of ingredients. I mentioned "I feel like I keep trying to get the right items on the fork to make this taste good," and my wife said "Me too!" The overall feel of both my strawberry walnut salad and my wife's salad (which had seasoned chicken) was not of a well thought-out salad, but rather a bunch of ingredients thrown together in a bowl. My entree was the classic Chicago deep dish personal pizza, which was slightly underdone. It was not raw, as we experienced at the Queensbury Uno's, but it definitely could have used another five minutes in the oven. My wife's entree was a tortellini dish, which was the most disappointing thing we got. She did not like it at all. I tried it and found it to be bland, with the pasta having a tough and unpleasant texture. It was probably frozen ahead of time, and just was not very good. My wife did not finish it, and did not want to bring home the leftovers. For dessert my wife got a macadamia nut cookie sundae and I got a salted caramel bread pudding. While the caramel did not taste salted, I like caramel just fine by itself, and enjoyed the dish. My wife liked her sundae, and said "We should have just ordered dessert, this is the best thing they've brought us." Sadly, I had to agree. Our server, Adria, was cheerful and professional, although I wish she would have asked us if we wanted our salads brought out at the same time as our entrees. That is what happened, and while it explained the half-hour wait between placing our order and our food coming to the table, we definitely would have preferred for our salads to come out first, followed by our entrees after we had finished our salads, as is the standard in every other restaurant I have ever been in. Discussing our meal in the car afterward, I said that I felt we had been treated better than we had been at the Queensbury location (where the bartender bordered on contemptuous and delivered a Manhattan conisting of nothing but bourbon and ice cubes because they had "run out of cherries"), but that good service can only go so far when the food is not made to order (I am virtually certain my wife's pasta had been frozen, and my slightly underdone pizza may have been as well, in any case it was not particularly good). This Saratoga location has better service and a slightly brighter and cheerier interior, but the actual food itself was two and a half stars at best, and I fear that that is not a bug, but a feature. My wife said "At least I don't feel like it will make us sick," and you know, I had to agree that that was the best thing I could say about most of what we had. Even a corporate chain restaurant should aim for a higher standard than that.

We love Pizzeria Uno. We were excited to find one during our vacation in Saratoga. A little hesitant though after reading some remarks of this particular restaurant. We decided to go anyway and found that the people were friendly, the service was prompt, the food came out quick and delicious and we had a great time! (except that our three month old was fussy) Don't always go by reviews - check things out for yourself.

We went to UNOs on Sunday evening at 6pm, way before they were set to close. It was my first time leaving to have dinner with my friends since I had my child in May, so I was really excited! When we got these, the hostess seemed pleasant enough, and sat us in a booth even though she had wanted to seat us at the bar ( I have back issues, and bar seating is painful after a while for me). We waited for 45 minutes. No one came to take our order for drinks, food, anything. We sat there, and sat, and finally my friends and I got so frustrated, we left without ordering anything. Seriously, some of the worst service I have ever gotten. We ended up at the Fridays down the street, and they served us quickly, efficiently, and without issue. We will not be going to this UNOs again, and I would caution any who want to go there.

Food was good, service terrible! Only 3 tables with customers, long wait for food, never checked back to see if we needed anything like water refilled! Had to go find someone to pay as waiter never came back! Tables weren't cleared off and there were napkins and food on floor!

I have been going to this place for over 10 years, a few times per year. "Uno" is known (I almost said "famous," but that wouldn't be quite accurate) for its deep dish pizza and well-equipped bar. It's in a good location on Rt. 50, easy to get in and out. The service is reliable, albeit slower than you would like, usually college girl waitresses, mostly attentive and responsive. Set your watch once you place your order, if more than 10 minutes goes by, you'll have to get your waitress's attention; they have been known to "forget" about customers. The greeter is usually an attractive, aloof college girl. The food is slightly better than diner fare (one notch above Denny's) and they have a good, diverse menu. There are several good options for those that don't want to eat pan-fried junk or have a 2,500 calorie dinner. The salmon and baked haddock are reliably good. My favorite thing about this place is that the dining room is almost never crowded. Most customers are bar fly types drawn to whatever mindless sports show is playing. Families seeking quick and reasonably priced dinner options will like the choices. It's probably the best restaurant on the Rt. 50 area in Wilton. The quality of the deep dish pizzas has declined significantly over the past couple years based on my sampling over the last few visits where my kids get the personal versions. The crusts have been dry and unpleasant, most likely prepared well in advance. Surprisingly the fish options are always good. Overall I think it's a good place and run as efficiently as can be expected.

I been to Uno in few other state. I been here maybe 4 time since I moved here 4 yrs. ago. This last experience I had was not good. I order the a pizza and chicken w/pasta. It was okay. The pizza taste like Pizza Hut fast to go, pasta was very sour like too much lemon? My son burger was well done and char and he ask med rear.. I told the waiter when we were close to leaving not asking for a deal at all just to informed them of it. The cook came out and talk to me not to apologize to ask me if I been there? Really dude! Just apologize and make me happy. Maybe next time I have a better exp. well, there is no next time with that attitude!!

Stopped here twice and every time was very satisfied with both food and service. I ordered a BBQ burger last time and it was delicious.Shrimps scampi were very good as well. I'm very surprised to see so many negative reviews here. Considering the fact that it's a chain restaurant, food was way above average. Will come again

I was craving deep dish pepperoni, so despite the sparse and negative reviews I decided to give it a try. I had never eaten at an Uno Chicago Pizzaria before, but my dad had it in Chicago and raved about it. I ordered online and paid online: 2 large pizzas (one pepperoni, one surpreme), a kid's meal of dino shaped baked chicken nuggets and steamed broccoli, 2 side salads (one ceasar, one house) and an oreo brownie dessert. ALL DELICIOUS AND FRESH! They have curbside and the girl who brought the food out was very polite and offered utensils and paper plates. SO, for around $40 we ate dinner at home and didn't have a mess to clean up. Amazing. About Chicago Style Deep Dish - lots of fresh tomatoes and hidden-under-cheese toppings. ONE topping is enough for me, it's quite a lot to have to bite into. My husband likes it piled on! My son devoured his broccoli and nuggets--I even tried them and they were REALLY good for baked nuggets that I'm sure were previously frozen. Also, we ordered too much. We could have shared a side salad and one pizza. Main Point is, we'll eat here again!

I'm surprised to see such terrible reviews here. Although its been a while (we were here on July 4th for a family reunion) the service we had was awesome. And, consider the position we put our (cute blonde server, said she was from CA, where I'm from) in. I called and asked if they could handle a party of 25 in 10 minutes. The place was dead and when we arrived 10 minutes later the staff had our tables set up and were ready to take our order when we sat down. Service was wonderful, even as she juggled refills for 25, etc. Our pizza was typical chain Uno pizza and not one person complained about their food. It's typical chain food. Not great, not bad, pretty much exactly what we expected. And, between 20 of us, we tried a large portion of the menu. We came back two nights later at 10pm for more pizza and had the same service (not the cutie though - some dude). Tough to complain about anything. All was done well.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
