I stumbled on Barcelona as I was driving along Hwy 5, appreciating Lake Erie. A local told me that ZeBro's was the happening place to grab a drink. The parking lot was full, but the dining room was empty. Puzzled, I walked to the back to find the whole town at the "Tiki Bar," overlooking the lake, beach volleyball, a huge bonfire, and even a Koi pond. If you're there for lunch, I highly recommend their homemade chips with your sandwich. They're yummy!

I stopped by here at the beginning of the summer with my wife as well as two other dining companions for dinner. We were looking for a place to eat in the area and this seemed to be the only decent one. Whenever we walked in I was surprised to see the decor. It seemed sort of fancy at places and we even saw some people in here before their prom. However the decor in other places seemed tacky with zebra prints from which I imagine they got their name and then the bar itself just seemed like your normal dive. Our party ended up getting seated near a window which looked out the water which was a decent distance away. For dinner I ended up ordering the Shrimp Po boy sandwich. It ended up tasting decently although it was super dry. Thankfully my wife's meal ended up coming with a remoulade that saved my sandwich from the dryness and also gave it some nice flavor. Everyone else at the table also found there meals to be ok but nothing special. The bottom line for me is that I might head back here in the future if I am in the area as the food was decent. However, I would prefer to find somewhere else as I think I could do better for my money.

I stopped by here in hopes that the establishment was still the Barcelona Inn (I think I have the name correct) which really had some decent food, good service, great views of Lake Erie and was ever popular for making up a great Bloody Mary that always had a plump clam or oyster added to it. Unfortunately it is now Ze'Bros Harbor House offering food and drink that couldn't even begin to compare with its former self. Though the views are still nice, the food isn't and the service some of the crudest I've ever experienced. What used to be a good gathering of pleasant customers now seems more like a bunch of alcoholic motorcyclists and weekend warrior types. They have some odd fish plates for this area such as mako shark and red snapper, but to my delight we were able to get a plates of what they said was Lake Erie Walleye, which I must say was pretty darn good. One change for the better however is the backyard open air table seating area, which can be most enjoyable.

Listen, this place is just ok. Nothing more, nothing less. The food would be acceptable at a lower price point. The view is worthwhile, especially at sunset. I got a rather dry- but not horrible- perch po' boy sandwhich. My compatriot got a greasy but guiltily tasty portobello sub, it was very greasy. Myself and my dining buddy are both fans of kitsch and goofy decor. This fits the bill nicely. The design scheme is mysteriously zebra themed with a delightful 70s Nautical undertone. Service was slow but competent. I really enjoy this area and I am not knocking it, but this is probably a good bet based on other places around. There is a seemingly popular tiki type bar outside. We didn't go out there but it seemed like a good place to have a beer and be by the water.

Excellent service, would highly recommend. We had the Linguini with Clams and the Molasses and Bourbon Pork Chops, and both were very good.
