I absolutely love Gino's! I went there with one of my good friends, my daughter, and her nephew. Gino's has a wonderful atmosphere and the staff is extremely helpful friendly and quick. That's of course aside from the fact that their food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! My daughter can sometimes be a picky eater (she's 2) and it was very easy to pick something for her that she would enjoy from their menu. My daughter ate everything with no complaints and also had dessert. Again, all the food there is amazingly good. Gino's is a very great place to stop by. The food and customer service is fabulous.

BEST PIZZA in town! I love their sicilian slice. They have so many good items on their menu- you can basically try any of the different pizzas or the stuffed slices. Their grilled chicken house salad and pasta dishes are delicious as well. They make a pretty good sauce, great food here. The staff is also very nice!

Ive been heading to this particular Gino's since 1988. Seriously thats a long freaking time! I think they may have recently changed owners though, picked up dinner a few weeks back and the chicken parm (which is usually great) had the dry texture of reheated chicken...and the eggplant parm was also not up to par. Happens once in a while though so i'll give em another shot, or two being they have been great for over 20 years in my book~! On another note, they still have the BEST sicilian pizza in NY, Umberto's of NHP has the best regular, Gino's has the best Sicilian and i'd like to hear arguments on any disagreements with that statement!!!=)

Best pizza in the neighborhood. In Valley Stream, there are 29847234 pizzerias to choose from, but we travel to the next town over for this. Nothing disappoints - their special salad (w/mozzarella) is yummy and they make a mean buffalo chicken slice. For an inexpensive, very filling Italian dinner, sit down in the restaurant section. The service is hit or miss, but you will def take the food home and eat the leftovers for the next week. Great vodka sauce.
(4)Joe P.
Long Island pizzerias are quite boring and overrated to me. However, since I've moved to Elmont in '02, I've thoroughly enjoyed Gino's. My favorite regular slice outside the city for sure.
(4)Kalisha E.
Good Sicilian pies and eggplant parm sandwiches. Takeout is busy on the weekend so I'd suggest calling ahead.
(3)Robert C.
Great buffalo chicken pizza. I highly recommend it. However way to pricey. I paid $2.40 for a thin slice of pizza! It's time for businesses to think out of the box instead of just raising prices when things get tough.
(3)Alex F.
Good pizza and salads. a bit pricy
(3)Carol S.
hubby and i are usually there sat nite for the best dinner in the world...best eggplant parm.......the salad w grilled chicken...to die for...and we love the family....its more than 20 yrs...and they never miss....love young peter and his cousin...
(5)Cibi A.
Got a large pie with 2 regular, 2 pep, and 2 buffalo chicken. The slices were the size of my face and delicious!! The toppings did slide a bit, but that's what happens when it's fresh outta the oven...not the mention the pizza was so bit they had to fold it over in the box! I'll be back real soon to try out more...
(4)Chrissie D.
I remember eating Gino's since a kid. Always a treat whenever I decide to stop by and place an order for a regular slice :-) However this time I decided to try something different. I got the buffalo chicken slice. It was bomb! Crispy crust, tender chicken chunks...It was a tad bit salty though. You can never go wrong with a regular slice :)
(3)Jaleesa B.
Love the pizza (when it's freshly made) but workers are typically rude I came in and it was a quarter after 10 and I asked what pizza do they have left and he ignored me and I know he heard me even if he didn't he could have said something like I'm not here for no reason and I can't serve myself I just walked out cause that turned me off and now I can't get Pizza tonight
(2)Chandrapaul L.
Best pizza in the world! Also their spinach and broccoli rolls are amazing. Buffalo slice is on point and so is their grandma pizza. You need to treat yourself to this. It's epic.

I call Gino's my second kitchen. I am here weekly. It started off years ago when my family lived in Elmont. We'd order a few pizza pies and that was it. Then they made a dining area out of an empty store next door, and the rest is history. This is the kind of place that when you visit, you see a familiar face from your last time there. The waitress, Rosa, knows what you are going to order before you do. I like that in a restaurant. You get a large portion so you know you will have dinner for the next night. I think I have tried just about everything there. My favorites include: 1. Sausage Parm (with pasta) 2. Calamari Marinara (calamari in a red sauce w/ pasta.) 3. Rigatoni Montanara (rigatoni, chicken, sun dried tomatoes, spinach in garlic and oil.) They don't skimp on the pieces of garlic so if you aren't a fan ask them to go light. 4. Linguine in Clam Sauce (whole mini clams - shells included) 5. Pizza - duh! Sicilian and regular are great. Crostina pie (doesn't come by the slice anymore.) Thick crust with fresh mozz, tomatoes, basil, dressed with a light garlic & oil. They used to have a bar pizza (mini thin crust personal pizza.) OMGGGG so delish. They stopped making it though! grrr. They also make a mean salad! I love the special salad with shredded mozz, broccoli and mushrooms. The dressing is just so yummy. If I do recommend something you MUST try once, it would be the Stracciatella soup. I can't say enough. It is like an egg drop soup with ditalini, and spinach. Add a little grated cheese and you can make a meal out of it. Don't bother with appetizers. They are pricey, and a waste of stomach space. Save your appetite for the meal. How could I forget the bread!? Its good. The end.

Best Sicilian pizza I've had in recent memory. Of course, where I live, "good pizza" is mostly a hoax based off of lies and rumors, so my taste buds could badly need calibration! But Gino's is authentic in the New York tradition, the price is right, the pizza is nice and thick and just the right amount of cheese and sauce, and the pepperoni roll things are a not-so-little bundle of joyously yummy pepperoni almost tasty enough to surpass the pizza.
(4)Reuel P.
great pizza but would like more choices.. more variety please!!! the buffalo chicken pizza is extremely good!! but just a typical pizza joint in my opinion. This particular Gino's doesn't compare to the other notable locations around NYC. Never the less, hungry? stop in!!
(3)Jeff S.
Don't live in NY anymore but when I come home, I want a good slice of pizza. Gino's has not only awesome pizza but the Cold Anipasto is amazing. Oh and the garlic knots.

A really nice family owns this place; great food, really good cooking, and of course great pizza. Very inexpensive too.

The pizza is good, the pasta and sauces are okay, and the appetizers are generally good. Basically, there is nothing spectacular that stands out, but nothing too bad either. It's just good Long Island Italian grub, not too flavorful, but also not too greasy. Everything is served in large portions on mammoth plates. The restaurant could be a little updated on the interior although it's not unpleasant and sometimes the tables could be wiped down a little better. It looks and functions the same as it did when I was a kid and used to stop in for Italian ices in the summer. The service is always friendly and reliable as you'd expect from a local pizzeria. I can't imagine an Elmont without Gino's. It's a neighborhood staple.
(3)Jay L.
i give them 3.5 stars. when they are good, THEY'RE really good. but they have a habit of giving warm /reheated pies and im not talking delivery. they are also a little bit more expensive then queens/merrick rd counterparts but they have a nice casual sit down area.
(3)Terrance T.
I've been going to Ginos for over 20 years now, mostly for their pizza but recently they're other foods have be way better than they used to be. I don't know if it's a new chef or just more attention paid to it but I have been enjoying the entree's as of late. Still the best sicilian slice in town, friendly staff and nice environment for sitting in.
(4)Patrick C.
Usually when I am on Long Island, it's visiting the relatives for some home cooked meals, but last night I was out there for basketball. My cousin asked what I wanted to eat, and I said I was in the mood for pizza and he said Gino's is the best. Honestly, I think this may be better than some of the pizza I've had in the five boroughs. Piping hot, good balance of cheese and sauce, the crust wasn't too doughy and the pepperoni was spicy. I'd like to come back and try the buffalo pizza, but Gino's is enough to make me want to come by Long Island more often.
(5)Roy G.
I recently moved to Houston and this is one of the few places I miss the most. I will be certain to stop in when I come back to visit. I haven't been able to find anywhere that comes close to their Sicilian Pizza.
(5)katrina adora s.
I absolutely adore Gino's! Their white pie will forever hold a place in my heart.
(4)Stelin J.
Good buffalo chicken pizza... Menu is a little pricey
(3)Dennis J.
One of the best pizza parlors on Long Island. Their Sicilians are superb! Been a happy customer since 1986. Great food all around and one of the gems of Elmont.
(4)Nuch P.
Great pasta dishes, freshly made, good portion and clean. I typically order the pasta with pesto pink sauce with chicken. Give it a try. Gets busy sitting lunch hour in the front.
(4)Gael M.
Authentic, flavorful Italian New York pizza. What else do you need to know?! Service here is always quick and inviting. Favorite of mine is the buffalo chicken pizza. They even threw in an extra slice for a long wait. They've earned my business!
(4)Patricia M.
I'm so disgusted with this place, I'm pregnant so to find this bug on my salad lord knows what I could of possibly had prior, and when I called to complain one of the workers excuse was SORRY BUT YOU KNOW ITS THE SUMMER TIME!!! what does that mean??? If that's the case put up a sign that says PLEASE EXCUSE US IF U FIND A BUG ON YOUR "FRESH" SALAD BUT ITS THE SUMMER TIME... As of today I won't be eating from here
(1)Aveena X.
I love Gino's! Their buffalo slice is the BEST! Pizza is always perfect here. They don't have much variety as other pizzerias but their pizza is really good!!
(5)Dominique S.
Love this place....friendly staff and the pizza is great! I have been going for over 10 years!
(5)Vanessa C.
Amazing garlic knots, perfectly crafted pizza (delicious sauce, perfect crust and tasty cheese) speedy delivery. Wasnt expecting such good pizza today. Had to leave a good review. 5 stars!
(5)Jenny T.
If your looking for authentic NY pizza here's your spot! Really good pie with a touch of Italian love!
(5)Tasha D.
Wasn't expecting this place to be so good ! I recommend the grilled Caesar salad & the buffalo chicken pizza so good it had creamy blue cheese on it . This place is always packed and they have seating in the back like a little restaurant for dine in service . It's def fast & great customer service very friendly & always smiling !
(5)Stacey R.
Good pizza (sometimes hit or miss) Fast service. Prices are a bit high. For example the small grilled chicken salad. I can usually get a large pie made fresh in 10 - 15 minutes. The delivery service is also fast.
(3)J. Racqui D.
Great pizza, the young guy at the counter was very friendly, he offered us a refill on a small drink ($1.50) because we had a long wait and it was also our first time. When I went to get the refill a young lady with blonde streaks in her hair and painted on eyebrows let me know they didn't give free refills. I ignored her and she also told the guy at the counter this, he told her "it's ok we have a deal" and gave me the free refill. She was so rude I wanted to throw the $1.50 at her but I didn't I kept my cool and patiently waited for my food. I wish people in NY would learn customer service is valuable, stop taking your customers for granted.
(4)Nas P.
Best pizza I've had since moving on the island..... I'm used to the old Howard Beach authentic Italian large slice pizza with the homemade taste to the sauce..... This place is def the closest your gonna get to old school pizza with that homemade taste.... Best known for they're buffalo chicken slice! Although the reg is just as scrumptious!
(4)R W.
5 Stars for amazing Italian ices! Holy cow, I wanted to eat my fingers after eating the sherbet. We were served by a really nice dude behind the counter that served up 6 small mixed ices with a great attitude. Very impressed. Bookmarked for future!
(5)Joe C.
Very comfortable, modern and clean inside. Friendly folks behind the counter. They have tables which you can bring your slice over to and eat or they will come around and wait on you. I ordered a regular and a Sicilian slice. Sicilian very good, regular slice just good. The crust could have been a little chewy-er. The cheese was great. A nice gem in the area.
(4)Vincenzo G.
Best place around! Some complain that it is a bit pricey BUT... if you want the best, you will pay for the best! Anyone can be average.... anyone! Best Vodka sauce anywhere!
(5)Sarah C.
Their pizza is okay however they have ruined my experience here. I always order food with my card and tip with cash so when I check my bank statement and see that they added extra tip onto my card without permission being the person I am I thought it was a mistake however they did it again. Sorry but I will not be ordering again. Be Warned!
(1)Kristen D.
I love Ginos. I will always be grateful that they were open right after Hurricane Sandy. They worked their butts off to serve all of those without any power or food. THANK YOU! Beside a wonderful sense of family when you walk into this pizzeria, their food is awesome. Just try any of their slices! The counter gets hectic at times, but the wait is definetly worth it. I would recommend this Pizzeria to anyone!
(5)Frana C.
I went here in December of 2012 with a a friend who lives in Queens. I live in AZ and wanted some good NY pizza SO BAD. Boy oh boy did this place deliver! The inside is nothing fancy but clean. The staff were kind. The display of pizzas and other options made it hard to pick so he got cheese and grandma style for me to try. Holy joy I found myself in a state of euphoria from the first bite to the last! I will be in New York again this weekend and I am going back to Gino's for sure! It's been hard to have pizza in AZ eversince I left. Gino's ruined it for all these "pizzas" over here. :-( I need my fix, and I need it now!
(4)Danielle D.
Best pizza in town! This place is always packed. You can dine in or do take out. The food is always fresh. My favorite slices are the buffalo chicken and gramma slice. If you like chicken parmigiana you have to try the shrimp parmigiana with ziti and vodka sauce!!! Just remember who put you on to that ;)
(5)Emily S.
This place gave me food poisoning . I was sick for three days and ended up in the hospital . I ate penne ala vodka with chicken . I won't ever go there again
(1)Elizabeth A.
I know this place for quite some time. I know what to expect and I know who the people behind this amazing pizza are. My favorite is by far the Sicilian Pizza But really through the years I have tried almost everything! So it is really recommended - its my local pizza and I will recommend it to anyone - Thanks Yelp for giving me the platform
(4)Natasa S.
This is the pizza place that all other pizza places WISH they were. No pizza place makes pizza and Italian food like Gino's. No one. Anywhere. Taste. Yeah, Taste. Go ahead. Taste this pizza. The sauce is delicious! The pizza dough fully cooked, not raw like everyone else. The food here is to die for. I had everything on the menu many times and I will have it again and again. And Again! If you never had pizza and Italian food here, you haven't lived! 100% the BEST! ginoselmont.com
(5)Cristina E.
Had the Buffalo Chicken pizza and I must say it's not worth the ride or the $$. Years ago I would go past 5 pizzeria"s just for that pizza. Not no more ill just stay close to home to get okay buffalo chicken pizza and save some $$ doing so.
(3)Nancy A.
Best pizza out here in Long Island. The Sicilian and regular slices are delicious!! Since it's always so busy, fresh pizzas are made often. The employees are a bit rude and apathetic. But none the less the pizza is great! The place is clean. I highly recommend it!
(5)Thomas G.
I have been gong to Ginos on Dutch Broadway since the day it opened. No longer live in the hood but still eat there at least a few times a month. Never a disappointment and Rosa, Michael and their Girls treat us like Family..... Love Ginos...
(4)Michelle S.
Delicious food, especially their grilled chicken sautéed in garlic spinach (I forgot the Italian name for it). The pizza is pretty good too. My sweetheart turned me on to this place 4yrs ago, and I am now a fan, too. Both of our children love this place. Reasonable prices. Lots of parking. Maria is a hoot. I love her strong Italian accent. Nice family place. One evening he and I were there, and we started talking with this family (not sure about what), but the husband treated us to a bottle of wine. How nice was that! Such a nice surprise.
(5)Qasim G.
Good pizza on Saturday night. We were in the area and Rosa's was already closed, so went there and got our grub on. Large pie with extra cheese. I really should have gotten my additional slice with anchovy as I normally do when ordering for the family. Clean establishment, polite and quick service. Will go again next time we're out there.

"I'd marry this slice"... Said many of my friends just before indulging their buffalo chicken pizza from Gino's pizzeria. Guilty, I'd marry it too. Gino's buffalo slice has been the Valley Stream/Elmont ultimate craving for years. I've been coming to Ginos forever and only started living when I took my first bite of the spicy, blue cheese, chicken goodness. Lucky (or not so lucky) for me, I know one of the workers and he'll always have a slice ready for me. Thank god I just ate one for dinner or I'd be well on my way after writing this. Some dinner favorites of mine are Rigatoni Montanara, shrimp parm, and the one and only, Gnocchi Caprese. Just thinking of those lil fluffy potato guys has me smiley and hungry all over again. This plate of gnocchi trumps most. The fresh mozzarella melted between the potato pasta just screams "YESSSS". Ugh this is a torturous review. Guilty of having ginos for lunch and dinner? Yup.
(5)Shahzab K.
I had the grilled chicken caesar salad it was really good and the portion for the small order was huge. I asked the guy if I can have ranch instead of there dressing and he denied the request with such rudeness. They could've added more croutons. My brother had buffalo chicken slices which were the best ones he's ever had. Overall the food was amazing my one and only complaint is the rude customer service over the phone and in person.
(4)Jane K.
When people come to Long Island, New York to visit and want real New York pizza, I take them to Gino's. All the pizzas have a delicious crust. The sauces are inspired and delicately infused with Italian flavors and the pasta dishes have generous portions. They consistently deliver excellent food. The restaurant itself has about 2 dozen tables, is very clean and offers plenty of parking. Our favorite dishes are Sicilian pizza, grandma pizza, white cheese pie, eggplant Parmesan, buffalo chicken pizza, linguine with clam sauce and pepperoni rolls. It's a really fine place to grab a slice, a pie, or a reasonable Italian entree in a casual setting. Try it. You'll like it.
(4)Kemi O.
Whenever I'm at work and I'm in the mood for a good salad or Italian food, I come here. I always feel like I'm cheating on my local pizzeria but I must say Gino's food is great! The food is consistent and I'm never disappointed. I enjoy their small Greek salad and a spinach pinwheel with marinara sauce. I've had several things on their menu such as their shrimp parmigiana with linguini and it was delicious and the portion size was generous.
(4)Alexis R.
This pizzeria is the best pizzeria in elmont. The food is very tasty and affordable. This pizzeria is conveniently located on the corner of dutch broadway and Fletcher ave which I love. Also they have a spacious parking lot. This place is great except some times they take a while to get customers in and out
(4)Judemark R.

(4)Omaris B.
I went to Gino's on a suggestion from a co-worker who lives in nearby Rosedale Queens. She recommended I try the buffalo chicken pizza and my ohhhhh my it was delisshhhhhhhhh. The buffalo chicken wasn't overwhelmingly spicy like other pizzas I've tried. It was the perfect blend. While I was there I also tried the Roasted peppers and grilled chicken panini which to my surprise was amazing as well. All I can say is Go Ginosssss. You have my vote for the best Pizza in NYC thus far.
