Which Denny's was this again? Buffalo? OK. This seems to be a good Denny's. Waiter was really nice, helped me out by pointing out what I was trying to order was more expensive than ordering a slam and getting more food. Food was fine, but they were out of all the Hobbit menu stuff I wanted. The decor was more fancy than I've seen at any other Denny's. The restaurant was very clean.

This is the Denny's right by my house. The only reason they get a 2 and not a 1 is because they have the Pineapple Dream (a drink I like) and because they have wifi which is always nice. I came here in 2010 because I was dragged here by some friends in the area, who seemed to think this was the only thing open late. I always tell my friends there are other options and they never listen. I think everyone secretly loves Denny's. (Sob). Denny's? Really? So many amazing American family-owned places, not to mention dreamy ethnic food, and people still come to Denny's? And IHOP? And Perkins? And Applebees? And Chilis? Really? How depressing. The only reason Denny's is a 2 and not a 1 is, they are 24 hour and have wifi, which helps me a lot on tour, and they used to have an amazing cocktail style drink called the Pineapple Dream that was the only thing I'd order at this overpriced embarrassment for a local-business-killing corporate chain... but sadly they axed that from the menu. I heard it has returned now, in certain Denny's, so maybe I'll go back to this one and see if that's true next time I'm in the area. I also should point out that one of my best friends in the world worked at Denny's so that also helps it get a 2 instead of a 1. I should mention, I only rate national and global chains on a scale of 1-2. I rate family businesses on a scale of 3-5. Here is why: Would you rather support the local family, or the multi national corporations and the rich men on yachts in the Carribbean? Why are the parking lots of the awesome local places usually half empty (or completely empty)? Why are the chains always so busy? Why can they afford to open so late and get all the TV advertising and all the prime intersection locations? Why are they always in shopping malls? Why go and support Denny's, Chilli's, TGIF, Olive Garden, or the horrendous Applebees? These places have systematically and coldly taken over the national food scene by using the cheapest ingredients, pre-packaged frozen systematic meals that are identical across the nation, overly high prices, rude underpaid servers on way less than minimum wage, and a ridiculously expensive mass brand advertising campaign that gets inside the heads of all the kids and the 20somethings and keeps them under the illusion that if it's not a brand name, it's not worth visiting. They spend all the money they should be investing in food and service, in advertising and cornering the market - the local places can't compete - and someday all we will be left with is the same chains serving the same food all over the world. That is our future. It's the way we're heading and you know it. Every time you eat at a bland national chain, you buy into that, you support that. Boycott chains. Support your local eateries. It's an embarrassment that generic brand national chains are even listed on a proper foodie website like Yelp, let alone getting 4 and 5 stars from so called foodies. Wake up, America, before we're all just batteries in the matrix.

I stopped in mostly due to the convenient location. Didn't have time before my flight for a "fancy" place. Service was excellent and the food was much better than I expected. My dinner was in front of me before I was finished with my salad, not at all slow service as many reviews had stated. This might be my go to place as I will be flying in and out for several months. I whole heartedly approve of this Denny's

Let me begin by saying I don't expect great things from a Denny's. I do have a soft spot for the brand as it was where we went in high school and college for a 24-hang out spot. I had the luck to be in Buffalo during the epic Lake Effect snowstorm. Staying at a hotel near the airport, I wanted to grab something nearby so I could get back before the next wave of flurries hit. The two local restaurants nearby had really bad reviews, so I figured Denny's would be a safe bet. In the words of my eighth grade English teacher, "Wrong again, Buffalo breath." The place was pretty quiet and mostly storm refugees like me--I didn't count, but no more than five tables were occupied. Still, it took over five minutes for me to get seated. I ordered the wild-caught salmon. It tasted (and looked) pan-fried and was way overcooked. The whole grain rice was pretty much Trader Joe's frozen brown rice medley and the broccoli was a sad, soggy mess. I wasn't expecting haute cuisine, but I did expect something better than what I got. One star for being open and another for being better than being stuck in the snow.

Denny's are few and far between in Boston and the surrounding area, so when I find one, I tackle it to the ground with an aggressive desire for breakfast food. While I was in Buffalo for work, I made sure to stop at this location that was right down the street from my hotel and the airport. I went on numerous occasions, and each time I went the service was good, especially during peak breakfast hours. The entire staff seemed to help each other, which was nice to see. On each visit, I ordered a breakfast burrito that came with a hefty amount of fillings, including avocado. #pleaseandthankyou The obese child in me ordered the Chocolate Chip Pancake Puppies. They were so amazingly delicious, I savored every bit and took the extras back to my hotel room to feast on later in the day. While the food was good, it's nothing like you classic Mom & Pop diner. Denny's will never be that, but it is a nice treat every now and again.

This is where we go late night or any time we have a friend with a birthday, as they offer free make your own slam on your birthday. It was Paul's birthday and he was happy with it. They currently offer $2/$4/$6/$8 menu with something for everyone even if just a late night snack. They get bonus points for this visit they didn't forget the bacon this time!

It's dennys- you can't expect a lot, but it is nice... For a dennys! I love the remodel.. But seriously, if I see the creepy tall older gentleman that hangs out there most of the day EVERY DAY ordering refill after refill of iced tea, and talking/annoying every waitress and customer nearby, I'm going to explode!

Came in here for breakfast on my way to the Airport to head home. I'd seen the commercials on TV for "The Hobbit" themed meals - which seemed like a fun idea. So I ordered the "Shire Sausage Skillet": breakfast potatoes cooked with onions and bell peppers, and cheese, topped with two eggs and a link of sausage - plus coffee. I ordered mine with the eggs over easy. The meal is brought out to your table on a super heated cast iron skillet - so you need to be careful and not touch the skillet. The meal looked and smelled good - BUT - it was way to salty and way to greasy. I ate most of it as I was hungry, I should have passed, I felt ill from eating it later - I felt like I had consumed way to much salt. I advised the lady at the counter that the meal was to greasy and to salty. I recommended they perhaps drain the food on paper towels before serving - and have a lighter hand on the salt shaker. She gave me 15% off the check and responded she would pass the suggestions on to the management.

I have been here a bunch of times since my previous review and haven't been as happy. They changed the chicken strip salad and now it just isn't the same for me...I have tried other meals here but haven't been thrilled about them or the service. They almost always forget something and the food hasn't been great. I had the pot roast the last time we were here and it was disgusting. Full of fat ( the meat, what little there was , was tender) and served along side instant butter flavored mashed potatoes yuck! They should also skip serving it on bread and give you garlic toast on the side. The bread becomes a mushy sponge flavorless sponge. Stick with breakfast if you come here.

Often the late night cheap date for my boyfriend and I. Definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for an inexpensive meal, though the place does have some downfalls. Service can become questionable, and food delivery times can vary quite a bit. The main problem we had with the place was, on more than one occasion, the employees could be heard arguing rather loudly practically in front of the customers. There are some pretty good food choices however, and their peanut butter milkshake was a personal favorite.

We came in for breakfast and were seated promptly. The staff was nice. My coffee cup was dirty and they replaced it for me. We orders the pancake puppies for my toddler. Yuk. They were a deep fried mess and didn't resemble the picture on the menu. I had our companion taste one and he said it tasted like it was friend in old grease. The puppies all had tails too...and I don't think that was intentional. Breakfast was ok and came out in a reasonable amount of time. They have plenty of parking and are near the airport. The decor is updated but a bit dingy. With other options around this is off my list for breakfast options.

Wow. Surprised in a very good way. Tilipia and mashed potatoes: Great taste. Great texture. Small portion. This comes out on a sizzling skillet, but I asked that there be no added oil or butter. The server suggested they use PAM in lieu of oil. Great idea! French toast with hash browns: French toast was perfect. Hash browns were crispy and not too oily. My son (age 11) and I (40+) had dinner at this Denny's. I had low expectations since this store is across the street from the Buffalo Airport., not in the best downtown location. The food was good, delivery was a bit slow given that the restaurant was only about 15% full, but the server was outstanding.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
