I have been to the Ranch House 8 or 10 times over the past 10 years. It is one of our favorite places to go! The prime rib & chicken fried steak are both amazing! Service is always excellent. As far as the price...you get what you pay for in steak. If you want cheap steak go elsewhere! If you want great atmosphere and quality food...this is it!

This was an amazing find! Best steak I've had in a long time. The service was good and very friendly. Even though it was late, we were welcomed warmly. The bread was yummy. If you are in the area, splurge and get you a steak!!

We (4 ladies) had dinner at the Ranch House on June 2015 and the entire experience was excellent. The service was attentive and the food (chicken fried steak, hamburger, chicken breast dinner and Rueben sandwich) was all very, very good. In addition, they offered a wide variety of beverages. It is sad there weren't more customers in the dining room - the Ranch House seems to be a well-kept secret. We definitely will visit again - next time we are at Ft. Robinson.

Wow, what an unexpected find in the tiny town of Crawford. Wonderful restaurant in a historic building right on main street. I had a wonderful rib eye and my husband enjoyed the chicken fried steak. Loved the complimentary bread. Salad was the perfect size and the dressing delicious. Service was rather prompt considering that the restaurant was serving two large parties when we ordered. Although not as fast as some would like, for us, it was perfect for a lazy Friday vacation evening. The waitstaff was professional and friendly. Treated us like old friends. We will certainly return again!

Excellent Filet at a very reasonable price! Service was a touch slow but they had an event going on so I will give them that tonight. Vegtables were amazing!

Since my last review I've been to this establishment twice. The service continues to be slow, the food is still high priced for the quality, and the atmosphere is unchanged. Still a gorgeous and historical building. My last visit was for a private wedding party, catered by MJ's. The salad was bagged, dry, unwashed iceburg and the three bottled dressing options were dumped carelessly in brown buffet tubs. The roast beef had been sitting in the warmer too long and all moisture from the meat had evaporated. The potatoes were also dry and not appetizing as were the canned green beans. This business continues to disappoint this Yelper. Stay home and make your own, you'll be happier and richer.
