This place was decent - I went here with my mom one evening. We both tried the Thai tea, which was good but pretty thick. For an appetizer, we tried the fried spring rolls, served with sweet and sour sauce, which was amazing. Then we both tried the pad thai, mine without tofu or eggs and my mom's without chicken or tofu, which had good flavor but was not spicy AT ALL. When I asked for something to make it more spicy, they just brought me out a small dish of sriracha sauce. They seemed a little short staffed, so everything took a pretty long time, even ordering a drink besides water. This place didn't suck, but I'm not really sure if I would go back.

Excellent food! Big servings! Prices are average to slightly less for Billings. My husband and I always order the same things, Cashew Chicken which comes over rice, and Phad Thai which is perfection!! We have never had any complaints with those dishes, they are always consistently amazing, and like double what a normal person can eat! (Yay leftovers!) We have experimented with other dishes, but always come back to those. Also the Cashew Chicken over rice is tossed in a red curry / chili sauce, which is so sooooo good. It has a little kick, but very mild. So sometimes we ask for extra to be added. You can be specific on how many times hotter you want it, and they always do it right for us. :) Dining in is a bit blah. The dining area has cheap decor, and a bit out dated....prolly just low budget I assume. So don't expect the Ritz here! And you def don't need to dress up at all. Haha. But it's still great food! And totally worth the bad tables. If you haven't tried this place...you MUST!! At least once!!

"I'm not the cook! You don't be grouch with me!" Is the response from the manager, my husband got when he called to complain about an order he placed. THAT is not an appropriate response by any stretch of the imagination... We ordered spicy drunken noodles among other things and when we got home the noodles were ridiculous! The entire top layer of the container was nothing but Thai bird chili peppers! No one could stomach that many peppers in one dish, not even me and I'm Thai! So when my husband calls to complain and gets yelled at by the manager! Wth? Unacceptable! Never again. They won't get any more of our money. I guess I should open up my own Thai food truck. It would run circles around this place!

THIS PLACE DESERVES 5 STARS ALL DAY LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First if your used to your Thai food being the old school gunky greasy over coconut-milked lardish mess then this place isn't for you. If on the other hand your looking for a place that creates clean healthy amazingly flavorful dishes then do yourself a favor and put it on your list. Second this gem is in Billings, Montana a place where Olive Garden and Red Lobster are the two most popular restaurants. So if your from some place that has 27 Thai options and your palette has become accustom to a certain style open your mind and just be thankful as I am that this place even exists. Third the owner of the place is classy lady who deserves a hellavu lot of credit for bringing this clean tasty style of Thai to Montana. I left Montana for 20 years living all over the country and have eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants and have eaten many different styles and takes on it. I prefer the cleaner healthy style that this place serves (think a Chipotle burrito versus the one you get at the old school Mexican place that comes under 8 pounds of cheese). This place one is the real deal and deserves way better than the one dimensional reviews that it has gotten.

This is the best restaurant I've ever been to. I don't live in Billings but have to stop here every time I pass through the city! The soft shell crab with yellow curry and the pad Thai are my favorites but everything I have tried has been delicious. Their lunch specials are plenty of food for a reasonable price.

Usually when I travel I eat a lot of beef jerky and Slim Jim's. But today, I got to eat some sublime beef salad and my soon-to-be wife enjoyedsome delicious pad Thai. What's funny about it, is that we tried two other Thai restaurants before we got to this one. Both of them were closed for some reason. I think it was a God thing. He wanted us to have the best Thai food in town! We arrived tired from the road about 10 minutes until noon. The restaurant was already almost full. Most of the tables did not yet have food on them, but what was out there looked delicious . The noodle dishes especially looked yummy. Kelli ordered pad Thai and it was perfect. Nice sized chunks of chicken, a spiced just right sticky sauce, peanuts, chopped green onions, and plenty of noodles. I am trying to eat Paleo, so usually I get something that has no noodles. Today, I chose the beef salad. I often eat beef salad at Thai restaurants because (a) I like it, and (b) it's good for me. Beef salad is a spicy mixture of fresh grilled beef, lettuce, and dressing made of fish sauce and rice vinegar. This dish did not disappoint me in any way. It was fresh, crisp, and the beef had an authentic flavor. I would gladly go back to this restaurant, but there is one caveat. The service was terrible. Not that the table servers were bad, in fact the waitresses were very nice and effective. The problem was were only two servers for about 30 tables. It's impossible for restaurants to serve everyone timely when there's only two people working. And work they did! But in the end, many tables were left waiting more than 30 minutes for their meals. It's a great way to kill your business. If nothing else, the restaurant should've hired at least two more two more servers for the busy lunch hour. To sum it up, the food was Excellent, tasted authentic, and was served in a pretty fashion.I would definitely go back, especially if I have more time.

Great prices, big portions, will be back to try different things on the menu. The Pad Thai was good and spicy got medium level, but on the sweet side. The waiter guy was very nice

Another Thai restaurant that has decided to stop serving a lunch menu. So disappointing. Guess Billings needs several more Thai restaurants. Not enough competition. I hope that changes in the near future. There's definitely a demand for it in this city. I was there on a Thursday afternoon and they were doing quite well, despite discontinuing their lunch specials.

Perhaps I have been spoiled by the Thai food I have had in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Boston area, but the seafood entree I had was just okay. I tried my husband's chicken dish, and that too, was just okay. Not particularly spicy and just tasted okay, rather forgettable, I must say. Since Billings is not known for a great selection of great Asian food, I will give it 2 stars but if it were elsewhere, it would have received a 1 from me because the food is, frankly, just meh. Service was great though!

The food is really two stars, but the place and the people knock it up a notch. Beautiful dining room and excellent service on very fancy dining ware. They serve a fine lunch special that only gets two stars for flavor from me because I find it too sweet and too bland. Some folks like their Thai food that way, and if you do, you'll certainly be happy to try this place.

Traveling to Billings for work, I wanted to try Thai food. This place was listed in the visitor's guide at the hotel and it was close so I decided to try it. Being that I am from California where there are many options for Thai food, I kept an open mind given there are not too many to chose from in Billings. I had the fresh spring rolls with shrimp were adequate to poor. These are usually served with peanut sauce but instead it came with fish sauce. I asked us for peanut sauce which was brought out but the color didn't look right. I tried it using the tip of my fork and it tasted awful. I went back to the fish sauce. The shrimp used was bay shrimp and there was celery in the rolls. I suppose you can use any vegetable but the celery in my opinion ruined it. The shrimp should have been larger in size. For the main dish, I tried the eggplant with chicken. It was pretty good but I've had better. There was a lot of flavor but it was overpowered by chili paste and flakes. The place was very busy for a Thursday night and lots of people getting take out orders. Not a bad place for Billings with limited options but it definitely doesn't compare to the Thai food I get back in California.

The Lad Na was very delicious, the hostess/waitress was very polite and gracious, and the food was delivered in a timely manner. I was very impressed and look forward to adding a second review upon a second visit.

Food left me depressed. I'm not expecting to find my Thai Boat noodle soup here, I understand that. But at least something good, something edible and tasty? I just don't understand. Pad see ew was drenched in salt. I was unable to eat more than a few mouthfuls it was just too salty. Usually in pad see ew there is a bit of gravy-like sauce but this stuff was all dry. I appreciate that they used the correct noodles (unlike a nameless restaurant that uses spaghetti noodles for it's pad thai) but the dish just wasn't edible being so dry and with all the salt. I wasn't just disappointed because I was hungry, but because I really wanted to eat something good and thought it would be authentic and tasty. For two dishes and an iced tea it was about $23 pre-tip. My bf said his pad thai was ok so maybe that's their specialty? Unsure. The customer service was good, the waiter was very polite, and our order came out quickly. Just not great or good food.

We have eaten Thai in many places, and this is as good as it gets in my opinion. The pad thai was delicate and tasty - not thick and overly sweet like in other places. The panang and green curries were each outstanding: very flavorful. I just can't figure out the uncomplimentary comments posted here, because our experience was uniformly positive. The only item that could use a little more flavor was the spring rolls. Staff was very helpful when we asked that everything be done gluten-free. The decor is nothing special but nice, and the restaurant is spotlessly clean.

Fresh food well prepared. Fast and attentive service on a busy Fri nite. So glad we found this gem.

Probably the BEST Thai food I've had! Great service, great food and awesome atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend, and if I'm ever back this way, I'm definitely gonna eat here again.

I'm a Thai junkie and just moved to Billings a few months ago. I made it a point to try every place in town I could get Thai and this was by far the best. Ranks better than even my favorite place in Houston. Highly recommend the stir fried eggplant dish.

Ignore the hate reviews. This place is awesome! I've never been for dinner but I've gone at least 40 times for lunch. 4 lunch specials are all awesome but I go for the #21 dish. Your choice of Chicken/Pork/Beef. Spicy, healthy, good!! Trust me, if you love veggies, spice and meat, you'll love this dish. We take clients here all the time and they all love it also.
(5)L M.
I've eaten here several times and about half the time, they get my order wrong or I'd give them more stars. I do like the food-it's tasty and spicy. Service is ok, a bit slow at times, but overall a good place to eat.

Best Thai place in Billings (admittedly a low bar). I like the cashew chicken and the spring rolls are always tasty.
(4)Jeremy L.
The best of the few Thai places in Billings. The menu is so huge I've rarely had the same thing twice. Bigger portions, decent prices and friendly staff, too.
(4)David M.
My wife's favorite restaurant anywhere. Thai food at its creative best. Very friendly staff, and the place is as cleaner than an operating room. Love it
(4)D M.
Agreed with Buzz. We absolutely loved our dinner. The service was slow, but we went during the dinner rush. Green curry was outstandingly spicy and delicious. TRY IT.

This is the place to go if you crave for Northern Thai food! Not the best I've had (although, nothing comes close to Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas). Service is great.
(4)Cynthia B.
What a joy to find Siam Thai in the middle of Montana! This former Bangkok girl was extremely happy ... we had spring rolls, spicy eggplant and giant (fist-sized) prawns. Everything was perfect, and the service was fine. One caveat: They have no liquor license and apparently Montana doesn't allow BYOB (buh?) so if you'd like a Singha with your meal, perhaps carryout is in order.

Wow. Amazing - who know you could eff up Thai food so badly? This place is the worst representation of one of my top two favorite cuisines. I'd give them zero stars if that were an option. The tom ka with chicken tasted like they'd added a large handful of sugarcubes to the soup. The tom yum with shrimp tasted like dirt. The drunken noodles were heavily black peppered - something I've never encountered in that particular dish all the previous times I have ordered it elsewhere. The green curry chicken was completely blah. Ugh - I don't even know how these guys have stayed in business!

Ate here after some sort of sandwich maker catastrophe preventing us from getting a quicker bite at Good Earth Market. We waited a long time, but think we just timed it poorly, on the tail end of a rush on a Sat night. Did the garlic giagantor shrimp, they were seriously insanely huge. Pricey, but sounded good so I went for it. Really tasty garlic sauce, shrimp were a little overcooked, but again I give them benefit of the doubt this was due to a very busy kitchen at the time. Wish there were more veggies with, they were tasty and really added alot. Bf did soft shell crab with yellow curry, I wasn't in love, but he was happy and glad he tried something different that our standard - plain ol curries. Overall I was pleased, but not sure either dish was worth 2x the cost of the curries, but I wouldn't dissuade someone else from ordering them either. Wish they weren't so insistent on no substitutions, some of us are tinkerers (within reason!) :)

I love these people! Not only is the food superb (some of the best Thai I've had, including in NY and London), but the owners are warm, lovely, and super personable. We had a rehearsal dinner there last week. Everyone was RAVING about the quality of the food, the service, and the great atmosphere. They put out a huge spread of food and kept it fresh all night. They took great care of our party of about 50 people and kept our drinks refreshed all night and took great care of us. They even gave all of the guests to-go containers so we could take the leftovers home. The owners even gave the bride and groom a wedding gift. So, so sweet! Get the choo chee tofu and the fresh spring rolls - delicious!

Great food. Never fails.

In Billings Montana I did not expect much of the Thai food. Unfortunately I was right. I ordered a phad kee mao, and not only were the noodles too chewy (undercooked) but they were also burned (not in the good wok way but in the bad too long in the wok way). They also stick together too much and it's hard to eat. The chicken was good, but unfortunately there was not enough of it. In fact the only thing that I could see at the beginning was just noodles. There was not much of anything except for onions and noodles. Nuff said.

Try the Basil chicken an the Cashew Chicken. mmm so good

Really LOVE the food and the people who work there are always so nice, dropped a star because it sometimes takes a little while to get your food but it's worth the wait. Drunken noodles, pad Thai, beef salad, papaya salad, sweet sticky rice with mango...it's all good!
(4)Shannon B.
Loved it !!! The food was awesome. When we came in it took a minute to be seating because the head server was taking a to go order on the phone. But we got our food and it was amazing! Then when we were getting ready to settle up, the server was so friendly to us, we told her we were on tour and she even offered us free canned sodas to take with us and chatted us up for a while. Such a sweet woman. When I pass through Billings I will always make this a stop!

Great food. Sketchy service. Started off with the beefy salad. Amazing flavor. A little too gritty though. Everything was SUPER spicy butit definitely quelled the craving for Thai while on a roadtrip in the middle of the country. But if you don't like super spicy dishes - don't bother.

We really only have two choices for Thai in Billings and by default this is the best one. The food is pretty good all in all if a little on the sweet side. It's right next door to an oriental food store so while your there pick up some traditional ingredients and make your own Thai at home.

I would take a less dressed up Thai Rest. in favor of better food. I think that it was over priced for what we received. We ordered Phad Thai in which I could barely see any veggies in there other than a few slivers of carrots, and bean sprouts, with just about 3 leaves of cilantro and the noodles were chewy like they were not cooked all the way. Also had Satay in which the chicken was major dry although it had good flavor. The special was 4 jumbo shrimp carmelized in garlic sauce with a FEW veggies in the middle, shrimps were yummy sauce was too but hardly any veggies for the price they asked 25.00 for this plate. Aye..Service was basic although I saw the young server let his shirt touch the others folks rice..eww big no,no. I spent 60.00 dollars for medicore food going to try the other place downtown.

I like this place, the food is good, tastes fresh and light. The only downside is that I have not had anything with the heat that I normally associate with spice. It does meet my Thai cravings successfully.
